ᐯIᔕITIᑎG ᑎᗩᑎᗩ 💕 It was hard when she left us. The head of the family/nana/grandma. It was hard for me and the family. Nana not only raised me but was always strict with standards such as food routines. I smelled fresh fish and roti every day. She wanted roti in stead of bread so she started very early in the morning making them. Meat wasn't that important in the family. "No we are not from the city, we are from a district where we eat fish mostly", I still hear here speaking. Nana spoke Caribbean English whenever she was criptic, Surinamese in general and Dutch I heard mainly at school or with friends. Nana lived in Guyana like her mommy and later also my mommy. When she left us it was hard and memories remain but now visiting her we have fun even mommy. She snapped me here. I miss her so much.
