PROGRESS
Saturdays are now my official weigh-in day (and my cheat day!) ;) 
This morning I found out that I lost 5.8lbs in 5 days! Every day I ate 1600-1780 calories. I focused on consuming: (mostly) lean meats, lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, and drank a minimum of half a gallon of water/green tea. Eating clean, fresh, and home-made is the goal! I also got in two 60 minute workouts.
I’m sure most of that was water weight but it still feels great to see such a dramatic decrease in such a short amount of time. Regardless, I made progress and I’m proud. I feel so much better, even with all my sore muscles. I have much to work on this upcoming week but I am so excited to continue this health and fitness journey. 
 Goals for this next week are: three 60 minute workouts w/ cardio, and eating more veggies/leafy greens. 
On a side note, for my cheat day, I got Dickie’s BBQ with my grandma. I’m a happy southern girl. :)

Was really trying to go to the gym 3-4 times this week but I’m still really sore from my leg day on Tuesday. Definitely going to do upper body tomorrow though! Hopefully next week my muscles will heal faster and I’ll be able to get in more workouts.

Fresh fruit, a salad, home made chili and cilantro lime rice, and finishing the day off with some green tea. Had a great first day and am super excited for the rest of this journey.
