You guys know I don’t fuck with canon. I was a theatre kid in high school, I grew up writing stories- I know how much work goes into a show or book and I try to take great care to respect a work as it is. That being said, I have fallen in love with these characters and love playing with the dynamic/chemistry in different situations! (But also absolutely no shade to those who do canon-complaint or continuation fics!)

No beta we die like men is my favourite tag. I am my work’s biggest critic, although Kassandra aka tumblr user joy-light is often my sounding board for plot holes and discrepancies.

Unless the plot calls for it, I mostly write Aged Up!AUs. Why? Because a) I am 21 and I want to write them in a stage of their lives that I can relate to, and b) I don’t want to have to work around the time constraints of high school lmao. When you’re 16 or 17, even if you think your whole life isn’t about school, it definitely is, and it’s harder to do plot-moving dumb things when you have a parent or guardian watching over you.

This is where the bare bones of Julie’s anxiety was formed in TTDS and my more poetry-style of writing started bleeding into my fics. I started this in 2017? Something like that. 10. Untitled- UNPUBLISHED WIP; the all-cliche Peter Parker Field Trip!AU lmao. I fell down a rabbit hole of these a few months ago and had to start my own to get it out of my system. Lmk if you’re interested in reading this? Maybe I’ll actually finish it lol.

Peter thinks this has to be some cruel trick of the universe.

11. The Shallows- UNPUBLISHED WIP; a Gakuen Alice Mikan/Natsume Underground!AU I marked out the bare bones to a couple years ago. This manga and its fandom will always hold a special place in my heart. Again, if there’s any interest maybe I’ll come back to it.

The first time he sees her, it’s a Tuesday afternoon, and she’s sitting at the bar asking for two shot glasses of water and a virgin orange juice to go.

I’ve got a bunch more abandoned WIPs that I’m not going to bother putting on here lol. If you’re interested they’ll all be on my ffn, where I first started posting fics at the age of 15? 16? (*major cringe*). There’s also probably about 60+ plot bunnies and headcanons I’ve put down over the years, so maybe y’all will see some of those eventually. There’s lots more JATP content to come as well :).

In terms of a pattern in my writing? I’ve noticed I almost always will start out with a statement, and then an opinion, or vice versa. I prefer to start stories midway through the action of a scene, in order to get the ball rolling and get a proper hook.
