Michael was a girl. But she(?) was also Belial. Hence why other people refer to Michel as 'he'. But if you notice, when Selena talks about Michael, she maintains gender neutrality because she says she 'doesn't even know who Michael is' anymore.

Also thank you so much. Selena is so brave and there are so many girls like her out there. They are all astoundingly brave!

Fun fact: Rapunzel was one of my fave princess growing up too <3
