At Georgie's. Imagine going for a grocery run and on your way back a voice carries over from an open window, forcing upon you the wildest horrors.
[Image Description: Jon Sims, the ArchivistMagnusInstituteLondon, is sitting in an open window. He is smoking and reading a browned piece of paper. He has his black and grey shoulder-length hair in a messy high ponytail and his glasses on, looking professorly. Sims is wearing a green woolen sweater over a What The Ghost merchandise shirt and a tiny nazar necklace. He's in grey jeans and dark pink socks. There are two more statements in manila folders strewn about him, a golden lighter with a web design, a blue mug with a cloud pattern and an ashtray. On an adjacent small dresser there is a dragon palm, a tape recorder and two cassettes. There's a spiderplant hanging in the window from the curtain rod. Beneath the window there is a box in which an orange fluffy cat is poorly hiding.]

Hello. Shinichiro ask remind how both Mikey and Shin eyes are hauntingly dark abyss deep but Shin always scared me. I like him as a character. But his design while very attractive is haunting because the reason you give in previous ask. This dude is see himself as other see him but you know what more make me afraid of him. The simple dialogue 'I should have ask' when he said infront of Takemichi. I mean magically everything works in the end, but this nonchalant attitude scare me plus with sanzu thing man. Shinichiro is mentally fucked up only now you mentioned his fucking gang name he adores is a ultra nationalism one. I read the history of that organization online and the stuff they did and now I don't think I will ever see Shinichiro Sano ever again.
Also deep dark abyss eyes with no light in them 👀. I want Wakui to put a spin off for black dragons for now same reason as you. Who is really is Shinichiro Sano. Definitely not the person majority of fandom have make in their mind.
Shinichiro... Shinichiro getting out of Original Timeline was so nonchalant about killing that man, as you say. And he's nonchalant about the whole Sanzu incident. And, albeit that one could be more nuanced, he's nonchalant during his talk with Izana under the rain - not in the way he doesn't care but in the way he clearly doesn't understand which emotion response Izana had at that moment and what reaction from Shinichiro he needed. He brushed those moments aside so quickly (for Izana I doubt he did but as always he probably didn't catch just how important the situation was).
Dark eyes with dark hair on pale skin - that's a striking color contrast only a few TR characters have and on the top of my head I can only list Shinichiro as an important character which is best-known with black hair. (bc Manila/Final Timeline Mikey and not-bald-adult Draken have dark hair and dark eyes but we're still more used imagining them with light-colored hair). It just makes it all the more easy to focus on the dark aspect of his design - he's the only character with this consistent combo (no I am not counting Koko or Makoto or whichever other exception is out there, leave me alone (*Kakucho doesn't count because of his injured eye which gives his design more 'light')(also I just realized why I love dark-haired adult Mucho design so much, damn)).
IRL Black Dragon Society is a big red flag. I need to know how Shinichiro found out about it. I neeeeeeeed tooooo.
I think, one of the reasons why I want that spin-off so badly too is because the only Shinichiro we got to know without other characters' biased perceptions twisting Shinichiro's character is Original Timeline!Shinichiro. And I need to have a more defined answer as to how much those 4 years changed him and how much was already him.
Takeomi 🤝 Shinichiro - so attached to the mask they created for themselves and that also got created with the help of others that nobody, them included, know who they truly are (but believe me, it's not what the other characters or readers believe) (those two make me sick /pos)
#me on my way to apologize for the delay i took answering this ask:#in my defense: life.#answering ask#IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT:#if i dont answer an ask or a comment straightaway its likely because its both long and make me happier - which means i am dumb and like to#keep staring at it a bit longer. while also waiting for my brain to give me enough energy to answer#that is to say; this ask got me absolutely delighted#i love all asks obviously but long ones got my heart

SIRENA: K-6 Students Perform at UPIS Variety Show 2024
UP Integrated School (UPIS) K-2 and 3-6 students exhibited their talents at the Variety Show last May 22 at the UPIS 7-12 Gymnasium.
A total of eight performers from Grades 3-6 performed in the event. Each one was given three to five minutes to show their talents to the audience. The performances were evaluated by the judges Mr. Joseph Tablizo from the Social Studies Department, Ms. Alexia Metrio from the Practical Arts Department, and Asst. Prof. Diana Caluag, our Assistant Principal for Academic Programs.
The competitors from Grades 3-6 showed a variety of song and dance numbers. Anica Gail Lopez from 4-Labanos dedicated her performance to God and sang the Christian worship song "Wala Kang Katulad''; Marco Bonganay from 4-Patani sang "My Favorite Girl" by Justin Bieber; and the Whitebored Band, consisting of Ulan Rico on drums, Lucas Dionisio on piano and vocals, and Caleb Kwe on guitar and vocals, performed "Raining in Manila" by Lola Amour and "Believer" by Imagine Dragons. Meanwhile, a student from 5-Arayat, Jared Alexander Lagrimas sang “Miss Miss” by Rob Deniel.
Lastly, Mikkel Caia Odulio from 6-Amethyst sang "Yellow" by Coldplay; The Shooting Stars duo, consisting of Vivienne Madamba and Sue Anne Giannan from 6-Amethyst, sang the English version of the Japanese song "Goodbye Sengen" by Wonderlands x Showtime (originally by Chinozo); Allyssa Sarenas from 6-Sapphire sang the English version of the Korean song "Only" by Lee Hi; and lastly, drawing the Grades 3-6 performances to a close, was Jam Brian Edmundo Sumayo from 6-Sapphire played the guitar while singing "Say You Won’t Let Go" by James Arthur.
In addition to the eight main performers, there were also five special performances by students from Kinder to Grade 2. A group called Power 5 consisting of Grade 2 students Cris Paculanang II, Aya Maria Villamayor, Zion Zingapan, Alexard Espino, and Aya Martheen Abaigar performed a dance number on the song “Kinang Pilipinas" by Shine Philippines. 2035 Band, a group of Grade 1 students— Francesslyn de Leon as the drummer, Macy Parlade as the vocalist, Luke Zaide Santos as the guitarist, and Mary Elisabeth Martinez as the pianist—performed “UP Naming Mahal” and “Dynamite” by BTS. Francesslyn de Leon from 1-Pipit played the keyboard while singing “Sana'' by Jolina Magdangal, Zandro Edwin Patnongon from 1-Kalaw sang “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Amstrong, and lastly, Danielle Sheyla Ulaso from K-Liryo sang “Speechless” by Naomi Scott.
Following the last special performance, the winners were announced. There was a Championship Award and Crowd Favorite Awards for the 3-6 performers and the K-2 performers. Whitebored Band bagged both the Champion award and the Crowd Favorite Award for Grades 3-6. The K-2 Crowd Favorite award was given to 2035 Band.
The members of Whitebored Band expressed their happiness and sense of victory for winning. They thanked their parents for supporting them all throughout their rehearsals and for paying the reservation for the studio where they practiced. They also thanked their teachers and their advisers for supporting them and encouraging them to participate. They also said they miss Jsam Samudio, the band's supposed vocalist, who wasn’t able to attend due to illness.
“We really miss him and we wish he were here with us to perform on stage," said Lucas.
This year’s Variety Show proved to be a success, overcoming numerous scheduling challenges posed by the extreme heat and suspension of face-to-face classes. According to Pamunuan ng Kamag-Aral (PKA) 3-6 President, Ethan Lakip, the biggest challenge in organizing this event was the unforeseen changes to the UPIS Week schedule due to the recent high heat index. This caused the original date of the Variety Show on April 17 to be moved to May 10, and eventually to May 22. He also added that due to the suspensions announced by UPIS, the original 4-day UPIS Week was streamlined to one day, forcing them to reschedule some events and cancel other events such as TALAYTAY: K-2 Palarong Pambata, 3-12 Sports Festival, TALISIK: 7-12 Trivia Competition, and ATLANT-ISKO: Club Wars.
Despite these hindrances, the Variety Show was able to push through and the students from Kinder to Grade 6 were able to showcase their talents.

D&D Songs
I've been listening to a few songs that had me thinking about D&D, and how some songs at least to me really encapsulate the class or the game in general. Here are some classes with songs I think fit the idea of the class.
Bard Perception Check- Tom Cardy (kind of a cop out but whatever) Show Stopping Number - The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals Rasputin - Boney M
Warlock The Mind Electric - Miracle Musical After Me, The Flood - Bearghost
Rogue ROBBED - Manila Luzon 20 Down - Poor Man's Poison (The lady they're singing about)
Barbarian Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes Unstoppable - The Score
Fighter Believer - Imagine Dragons Do What I Gotta - Naethan Apollo
Paladin In The Name of God (Deus Vult) - Powerwolf [Honestly anything from Powerwolf's Preachers of the Night or Blood of the Saints albums would qualify]
And perhaps one that could apply to any long-term D&D game... How Far We've Come - Matchbox x Twenty
These are only a few classes, feel free to suggest your own!

make me write: poll!!
jumping on the poll bandwagon because I have not touched Scrivener in FOREVER (read: two weeks)
unfortunately, I do not have multiple stories like most people on Writeblr since I keep fixating on the same story and its characters, lmao, so IDK if I can do the same thing everyone else is doing
HOWEVER, I will be taking my thesis in BFA Creative Writing this year and I am going to do doing something based on my main story! I was planning on finishing Book 1 (which I already have 4 chapters for), but my thesis adviser is heavily discouraging I do a full novel (minimum requirement for word count is only 15k and we're supposed to finish writing that with revisions by early December) so I've got a bunch of backup plans just in case I can't convince her!!
so here's a poll + bonus read more for further description of thesis ideas!!
Book 1 (Excerpt)
This is actually the option my adviser recommended the most. I have already written the first four chapters, even doing major revisions, and that already hit the 15k minimum word count, so she said that just revising these chapters would be the easiest option.
My biggest gripe with this is that I don't want to end it after Chapter 4. It ends on a mediocre cliffhanger, and we don't meet the other two main characters until later on. Not to mention, the BFA CW majors in my university get to (independently) publish and sell copies of their thesis at the end of the year, so it would be much more satisfying if I do the full Book 1.
Anthology: Thematic
I was thinking I could do instead a thematic short story collection linking the common traits of the main characters (Axel, Avery, Leandro, and Nathan). Each of the short stories would focus on a different MC's backstory. The central theme would be their loneliness.
The stories are (without giving away certain plot twists in Book 1):
AXEL: a story about a group of friends playing together, which turns out to be a product of Axel’s imagination
AVERY: the story behind the fallout with her ex-friends
LEANDRO: Leandro talking to his family about getting friends while figuring out he's a trans guy
NATHAN: Nathan talking to other children working under his drug pimp spirit stain dealer
Anthology: Characterization
This one was inspired by fanfiction, specifically the concept of the same characters in alternate universes. How can you tell the character is still the same character when they have a completely different backstory and setting? Up to where do you draw the lines?
The various settings are:
Historical — Pride and Prejudice but set in the late Spanish colonial period and from the POV of Elizabeth’s (Avery) best friend (Axel)
Sci-fi time travel — From 2099 CE, Axel is asked to travel to 2013 Metro Manila to chase after a time-traveling criminal (Raven)
Urban fantasy (Aswangs) — Axel the friendly manananggal helping their friend Leandro, who recently discovered they’re a manananggal
Modern real-life — Axel signing up their friend Nathan on a blind date auction during high school fair season
Alesseia (Original) — Axel discussing how to beat Rex with all of their friends
Anthology: Timeline
A short story collection featuring the same character, likely Axel, at different points in the series. The series is divided into three arcs, so it would likely be:
Before Arc 1
Between Arcs 1 and 2
Between Arcs 2 and 3
After Arc 3
The Actual Book 1
The actual book 1 of Alesseia. Tentatively titled the Dragon's Deed. I really, really, REALLY want this, but like. it's gonna be what, 50k words 😭 so unless I pull a NaNoWriMo again, I can't blame Ma'am
Anyway if you read all that, thank you SO much!!! I really appreciate your support 😄 wishing you the best of luck with writing as well!!

My Solo Adventures
A lot of things are happening in my life this year and I cannot thank the people who supported me on this journey of finding myself through my traveling.
Ever since I was a kid, between 5 & 6-ish, my Tatay Ben introduced me to traveling and riding a plane. Journeying from LOAKAN airport to Manila at that time was extremely and utterly cool (of course that time I didn’t know yet the word extremely or cool haha 😂 ).
Somehow that moment sparked in me that I want to do this for the rest of my life.
Traveling by plane gives me the adrenaline rush that some people experience in dancing, sports, music, fashion, photography, etc.
A lot of people doubted that I could not do this on my own, flying solo, that I would just hurt myself in the process, or this & that.
A lot of excuses.
youtube
On the other hand, I know that there are people who genuinely care about my LIFE. And for that, much love 😍...
My goal for this solo adventure was to put myself out there in the field of hungry dragons. To test my ability if I learn something from Hersenz’s Cognitive and Psychomotor Treatment (Wed group year 2020-2021).
I went to search & discover myself again by traveling. But some people have misplaced feelings over my decision to have this solo adventure of a lifetime.
This year I concluded my 20th flight ✈️
***definition:
Cognition
is the "mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses".
It encompasses all aspects of intellectual functions and processes such as perception, attention, thought, imagination, intelligence, the formation of knowledge, memory and working memory, judgment and evaluation, reasoning and computation, problem-solving and decision-making, comprehension, and production of language. Cognitive processes use existing knowledge and discover new knowledge.
Psychomotor
Psychomotor learning is the relationship between cognitive functions and physical movement. Psychomotor learning is demonstrated by physical skills such as movement, coordination, manipulation, dexterity, grace, strength, and speed—actions that demonstrate fine or gross motor skills, such as the use of precision instruments or tools, and walking. Sports and dance are the richest realms of gross psychomotor skills.
Behavioral examples include driving a car, throwing a ball, and playing a musical instrument. In psychomotor learning research, attention is given to the learning of coordinated activity involving the arms, hands, fingers, and feet, while verbal processes are not emphasized.

Just My Imagined Nation
Time is but a dream and a reality that comes with its dragons and unicorns. Let this thought fart be a super random dump, because why not, right? Not sure about what hair color to get next. There’s nothing wrong about my current color, to be honest, but, I guess, I am just bored to see my face unchanged for almost six months. Itching to get a tattoo just because a good number of my inks happen in June or near June. I’m already sold as to what to get but, thinking if I’d get it from my OG legend ink boss Faust or wait for my very elusive trip to Siargao. Speaking of Siargao, been seeing a looot of posts and I’m really worried that the vibe won’t be as sedated during my last visit. Also, kasya na ‘yung jumper shorts ko na suot ko paalis ng Manila to Siargao back in 2018. Next step is to get more active IRL na talaga. And more importantly, don’t be too focused on the aesthetic, but feel how the journey to being more attuned to health and wellness is the key. CHZ. Kakanood kay Jo Sebastian, the nutritionist. Makapag-tennis na rin ba? CHAR. Actually, more of stretching ang focus ko and flow. While boxing is an option, pang-iwas anger management issues lang talaga ang dulot sa akin ng boxing. LOL. E dahil kalmado naman ang aking current org in general, I really don’t see any Extra missing Palawan, too. Might swing a quick visit but, I’m hanging onto to an invite from a friend that was put on hold, yet again. Parang nanghihina talaga ako na walang labas ng Manila. HAHAHAHA. I feel suffocated and I feel mehhhhh, but, hoping that the Baguio trip will be a worthwhile one. Inom na inom na inom na akooooo as in plus the Baguio weather is calling. I think that I just need to wait a bit longer. My twitching eye is bothering me a lot more. I know I have to lessen my screen time, so let’s see how this goes this coming week. Hinayan mo lang, mhie! We can do thizzz. Ely makes me semi-permeable. LOL. Dahil yata siya ang unang baby na pinakilala sa akin nung zygote pa lang siya. LOOLLOLL. I don’t like kids but, she is just magnetic. Weekend cooking begins tomorrow. :D Also, I really need to organize my room and my workspace. Dad has been immensely adjusting to my new work pace. LOLOLLOLL. Gugulat ako e. Pero he has been more aware as to how I need my space talaga. Not always since he is in his andropause era. Let’s tackle that some other time.

Blank Canvas Chapter 9
Read on AO3. middle schoolers are evil dude but they're just kids remember that Summary: Tatara’s play rolls around, and the weekend at the resort begins. Word Count: 4414 Chapter 10 Chapter 8 Master Post
It was the night of Tatara’s play.
Its name was Iron Tongues, and the poster was of the main protagonist, Xin, with his eyes out of frame, only showing his lips stitched closed. The red mask hanging from his neck was reminiscent of a dragon’s maw. Idly, Kaneki wondered if Iron referred to the fresh taste of blood.
He stood before the poster, shifting uncomfortably with his luggage at his side. Not only that, Touka suggested (forced) him to wear a black suit to the performance to ‘make an impression’. He had to admit, though; the blazer was very comfortable.
When Touka broke out the gel, he panicked, but thankfully, it was swiftly passed to the much more capable Hina instead. His fluffy hair, which usually hung around his eyes in gentle curls, was slicked back straight for the night. It was a bit uncomfortable, but he liked not having to brush aside the strands that itched his forehead.
It was also a comfort that he wasn't the only one dressed up; it seemed Chì Shé premieres were important events. People in suits and dresses and makeup and all sorts of other things denoting fancy and formality passed him for the theater, chattering excitedly about what was to come.
There were couples too. Their arms were linked, and they leaned close to each other for confidential conversation. An intimate affair, replicated over and over in this crowded space. Kaneki would typically pay it no mind; he strived to be glad that that sort of happiness existed for others. Plus, he hadn’t even considered dating again since Rize. It wasn’t like anyone would actually look at him anyway, so why try?
And yet, as another pair passed him, he wondered what it would be like having something, to whisper and be whispered back to. Then he imagined what a head of fern hair leaning on his shoulder might feel like as they exchanged theories about what was to come.
As if to brush off the idea itself, he swept said shoulder and sighed. What was he thinking? He had to stay professional. Acting on these petty feelings, was asking to get fired and cast out from the only passion he could manifest in his sorry excuse for existence. To want for anything more, to dream that things could be better, was to be selfish and greedy and terrible.
He would simply bear it. As… As usual.
At that, the Touka in his mind slapped him upside the head. “This is your big chance!” she seemed to be saying (well, screaming— Kaneki tended to respond better to screaming). “You can get her alone and get an answer and move on if she says no!”
More like when she said no, but he understood the picture. Clear skies were better than foggy ones when you wanted to see the stars. But even disregarding the embarrassment he’d have to suffer to obtain such an answer, there was another thing to think about. Something much more tangible and real than… this.
Said something was tucked away in the depths of his suitcase: another manila folder, this one four times thinner than Donato’s, but four times more important. It contained everything Chie could dig up on Noroi Takatsuki— family members, close contacts, even job history.
Or so she claimed.
Kaneki didn’t know because he hadn’t opened it yet, and that was because with the folder came one of Chie’s warnings— one that had echoed in his head for the past few days:
“Are you willing to uproot your own life to learn more about hers?”
It was weirdly dramatic at best, and unbearably haunting at worst.
The crowd moved around him as he pondered the latter: someone close to him was lying, and reading the file would tell him who. Chie was asking if he could bear knowing.
He crossed Touka, Hide, and Hina off the list. It wasn’t them; it couldn’t be them. The 8th ward murder was thirteen years ago, and all of them were children with no motive and no means to travel to the site.
Which left the adults in his life, whose pasts were as murky as the ocean depths: Kaya, Enji, and—
“Sasaki? Sasaki, that you?”
Kaneki turned to the source, and he saw Big Bin, dressed in— shorts and a T-shirt? What?— pushing his way through the crowd, and behind him was another man resembling him and a seemingly apathetic teenage girl.
“Big Bin!” Kaneki said, forced to smile and table his thoughts.
The other man that looked like Big Bin had combed black hair and wore sunglasses similar to him. He was wearing a dress shirt and slacks, at least. “So you’re Sen’s artist, huh?” he said, shaking Kaneki’s hand. “I’m Middle Bin, and this is our sister, Lit—”
“Yumitsu,” the girl interrupted and waved. “Pleasure.”
Kaneki greeted both of them. “So you’ll all be at the resort tonight, then?”
“That’s right!” Middle Bin grinned. “Multiple rooms to explore, a few hot springs, a straight shot to the beach, and a small library!”
A small library? Kaneki already knew where he was going to be most of the time. A beach was out of the question (nevermind how Hide had snuck him a pair of swim trunks behind his back), and hot springs, while relaxing at times, would only ruin the books. So he’d have no choice but to sequester himself away in a dry room.
Plus, perhaps someone else would be there too.
“I think I see them,” Yumitsu said, pointing into the crowd then waving. “Miza! Sen!!”
Speaking of… Kaneki turned again, and eventually, he spotted a man carrying a toddler and a very short, very pregnant woman.
However, any and all thoughts of greeting either of them evacuated his brain when he saw Takatsuki.
Wow.
A strapless sweetheart dress that stopped above her ankles hugged her torso and fanned out at her waist. Separate lantern sleeves draped her arms, secured at her bicep and wrist. In a rare display of formality, her chaotic hair, typically a wild hurricane or maybe an untamed beast, was now calmed and placated, fully combed and braided. The braid itself hung over her exposed shoulder, and he promised himself— really promised— he was just admiring the handiwork and not wondering about the feeling of his lips to her neck please, please, please shut up.
(That said, a part of him was disappointed. Proper styles— caged styles— didn’t suit her.)
“Ugh, there you are!” she said, relieved. “Tatara— shortsighted bastard— said to keep an eye out for you, but I’m short and he’s tall, so—!”
She stopped and noticed Kaneki for the first time. He waved awkwardly, hoping he looked passable. “H-Hey.”
It almost seemed like she didn’t hear him, but she shook herself out of whatever trance she was in and raised a stiff hand in greeting. “Hey…”
She was staring at him. Hard. To the point he became self-conscious. Was there something on his face? That seemed to be a running theme, but there must have been this time. She always stared for a reason, like with everything else she did.
Big Bin and the others seemed to glance over and then start a more hushed conversation, but neither Kaneki nor Takatsuki noticed.
“U-Uh, Takatsuki—” Kaneki began, praying his brain would cooperate with him just this once and compliment the most beautiful person in the world to her face.
“You did your hair!” she blurted out, setting the bar and inadvertently saving him the trouble.
“O-Oh!” He touched it subconsciously. “Actually, um, a friend did it. I’m not— I don’t actually know how to—”
“Impressive.” She reached out and picked some lint off his shoulder. See? Purpose. “You… look good!” She seemed to be struggling for words. Her, the author. “It… suits you.”
The joke eased the tension, and he smiled. “You’re certainly dressed for the occasion yourself.”
She beamed when he reciprocated, and wasn’t about to be outdone. “Well, I think—”
“So you’re Sen’s artist, then?!” The man with the toddler barged into the conversation, reminding Kaneki that reality did, in fact, exist and he was not just with the woman of his dreams as they threw stupid puns at each other. “Cool! Name’s—”
“Naki!” The pregnant woman, who he assumed was Miza, elbowed him in the side, laughing but clearly scowling.
“Ow! Hey, baby on board here!!” Naki protested, adjusting the kid in his arms.
“I-I’m so sorry about him; he lacks… awareness.” She glanced at Takatsuki, then at Kaneki. “But I guess now’s my chance! Hi! I’m Miza, and this is my husband, Naki, and our son, Shiori.”
“H-Hi…” Kaneki shook her hand. “Um, I’m… Haise Sasaki.”
He might as well keep it up. It would be weird changing his (perceived) name on them now, especially since Takatsuki apparently talked about him. He wondered what she told them. Hopefully nothing bad.
“Yo!” Naki grinned toothily, once again bringing him back to the conversation at hand. “I’d high-five you, but I got a lil’ monster in my arms.”
To make the point clear, the toddler, Shiori, made a roaring sound as loud as a kid could, laughing afterward. Kaneki had to admit, it was kinda cute, even if some people gave them judgmental looks.
“That your luggage?” Naki pointed at the suitcase by Kaneki. “Me ‘n Big Bin ain’t the type to sit about in a stuffy theater for four hours—”
“You’re missing out!” Middle Bin interjected, but it was ignored.
“— so we’re makin’ ourselves useful by gettin’ the resort shit—” Miza elbowed Naki again, and she gestured with her eyes at Shiori— “stuff— whoops— all sorted out.”
Kaneki inhaled sharply, but realized it was stupid to do that. They wouldn’t be looking for a file pertaining to Takatsuki’s possible father/close family member. Would they? No, no, they couldn’t know, and that’d also be a total invasion of privacy. And if he refused, it’d be suspicious.
He touched his chin with a smile. “Thank you. I’ll leave it to you, then.”
Takatsuki studied him for a moment, but said nothing. Big Bin, sighing, took his cue and came over to grab Kaneki’s luggage.
“Well, I guess we’re off, then,” he said. “You all have fun, okay?”
“We will,” Yumitsu said. “See you at the resort.”
“Say buh-bye, Shiori!” Naki said, and Shiori grinned.
“Bye, Mama! Bye, Sen!!!!” he yelled, waving hard as Naki carried him away.
“Bye, Shiori!” Takatsuki waved back, entertaining him. She then looked back at Miza. “Oh, speaking of the play, we need our tickets.”
“Right, right!” Miza reached into her bag, rummaging around before taking out a handful of paper strips. “Here are yours and Sasaki’s, Sen.”
“Thank you very—” Takatsuki paused, however, when she read the two strips. Miza simply grinned before passing the rest out.
Kaneki’s brow furrowed, but he reached for the slip. “I guess—”
Before he could take it from her, she yanked it away. “Hey, Miza, I think you got the wrong one!”
“No, this is mine!” Middle Bin waved his ticket in the air, chuckling. Yumitsu gave a thumbs up to indicate the same.
Kaneki didn’t think he’d ever seen Takatsuki look so… betrayed before. “U-Um, did you want me to—” he began.
She wordlessly slapped his ticket against his chest, and he held it out to read. One ticket to Iron Tongues in seat E14. Not a bad position, if he was recalling the layout correctly. However, there was nowhere to put a name, which confused him. Takatsuki didn’t make mistakes like that, so why…
“Shall we, then?” Miza gestured to the theater. “The crowd’s only gonna get worse, so we should get moving now.”
Kaneki stepped forward. “Will you need any help getting in? You seem a bit—”
“Oh, this?” She gestured to her swollen belly. “Twins. Go figure! And I’ll be fine; you and Sen can go ahead.”
Middle Bin and Yumitsu grabbed either one of her hands. “We’ll help her,” Yumitsu said. “Sound good?”
Takatsuki rolled her lower lip between her teeth. There seemed to be an internal struggle Kaneki couldn’t see. “Are you sure?” she asked.
“Yes,” Miza insisted. “You two kids have fun!”
“Yumitsu’s seventeen.”
She gasped. “And I’m thirty-two! Wow! Now go.”
There was a silent staring contest between the two, but Kaneki didn’t sense tension, just— a challenge? Weird encouragement? Maybe even embarrassment? What was going on?
Takatsuki clicked her tongue. “Come on, Haise,” she grumbled.
Kaneki, after waving to the others, got his ticket scanned and followed her in, trying to stay close as the crowd coalesced around them. This must have been a highly anticipated play, he thought; it was strange how despite that, without Tatara, he would have remained wholly ignorant to its existence. Meanwhile, so many others cleared their schedules in anticipation. It went to show just how large the world could be, he supposed.
Takatsuki almost ran into a small group walking toward the stairs, but in a rush of sheer stupidity, he grabbed her shoulders and held her back. When he felt her tense up, he immediately let go.
“I-I’m so sorry!” he apologized. “I just thought that—”
“No, no! It’s— fine,” she said, hiding her face from him. “Actually—” another invisible struggle— “Here, gimme your arm.”
His eyes widened, but in the chaos of publicity, he thoughtlessly obeyed. She looped her arm around his and led him toward their destination.
“There; easier to stick together,” she hastily explained, still refusing to look at him. “That’s all.”
“R-Right.” Yes, that was all.
Together, they made their way into the theater proper, and Kaneki saw the stage, which was framed with depictions of red and blue flames that clashed in the background. He felt his stomach leap. His mind conjured possible scenes for the play: Xin and the supporting cast, the antagonists they would be against, and the strange world of Iron Tongues that was similar yet different from the real one. It was exciting.
The numbers on row E counted down from where they entered, and he let Takatsuki go in first. That was when he properly got a glance at the open back on her dress, exposed since her hair was out of the way. His eyes shamelessly devoured the shape of her shoulder blades and the shadows denoting her spine, memorizing it to draw later. He did pack a handful of the sketchbooks she’d gifted him— No, no, stop. Shut up.
She sat down in her seat with a sigh. He glanced at the number: E13.
Ah.
Shuffling awkwardly, he took his own seat, keeping his elbows tucked so as to not intrude on either her or the person next to him. In contrast, she leaned over and invaded his space to speak. Not that he minded:
“What’s your take on the premise?”
He reciprocated her motion like a magnet, and gave it some thought. He could always talk stories with her. It was easy. “I wonder if revenge will break Xin or make him stronger. The nature of his foe will also determine what it is he’s heading toward.”
“We’re of the same mind, then.” She grinned, the lights of the theater passing over her glasses. “Maybe we can steal something for our story too.”
Our story. It was literally true, but his heart fluttered all the same. He responded with a smile.
The lights darkened, people clapped, and after some announcements from the director, the play began.
Kaneki tried to focus, but every now and then, against his better judgment, he would steal a glance at Takatsuki, only to see her eyes glued to the stage. She was beautiful, he thought, but he knew if he said it aloud, she wouldn’t believe him.
That was the thing about her; she didn’t like compliments directed toward her. A part of him was glad to understand that, but another part was ashamed. It was a tendency born of self-hatred, he knew, but overcoming it was another story. Maybe she hated herself too, and there was both comfort and horror to be found if it was true, because she brought so much to the table.
He wanted to tell her that she was wrong, that she shouldn’t be hated, but to do so would be hypocritical, and it was frightening to think of that as so. Because to love Takatsuki was to not only open Noroi’s file, it was to love himself as well.
Could he do that…?
A particularly loud scene came on as Xin and his faction led the charge against the group led by Hohjin, the murderer of Xin’s brother and sister. Kaneki watched both leaders proclaim the anguish born of their shared event— Xin for the loss of his family, and Hohjin for the guilt of continuing a cycle too big for him to tackle. Neither side was wrong, but to fight each other… didn’t feel right either.
Kaneki felt a similar conflict within him. The greedy side of him against the sorrowful side of him, neither wholly good nor evil. The former wanted him to open the file and embrace his feelings for Takatsuki and risk anything, while the other wanted to lock them away and continue the happiness he’d already gained.
Which did he choose: speculative selfishness, or stagnant sadness? Both were a necessary component to living, but for this, one of them had to give to let the other guide.
He looked at Takatsuki again, and she was still watching the play, unaware of anything else.
He just didn’t know what to do.
———
Big Bin and Naki were waiting out back with a large van for everyone to sit in. Miza was in the passenger’s seat with a slumbering Shiori, Naki was the driver, and everyone else crammed into the back. Middle Bin and Yumitsu insisted on sitting with their brother while Kaneki and Takatsuki were on the other side.
“You guys look a little uncomfy,” Kaneki noticed. “Are you sure you don’t—”
“No, no! All good here,” Big Bin insisted, grinning. “We’re used to it; growing up, we all shared a bed.”
“We had to figure out a whole system so that we didn’t kick each other in our sleep,” Middle Bin added fondly. “Yumitsu would still kick me onto the floor, though.”
Yumitsu was pink in the face, but she rolled her eyes anyway. “Because of your dirty feet in my face.”
Middle Bin laughed, and Kaneki smiled. The discussion eventually turned to the play.
“The climax was a bit dissatisfying,” Yumitsu admitted, arms folded.
In the end, Xin and Hohjin died at the hands of Raki, a third party stuck in the middle of their conflict, meaning neither Xin nor Hohjin got what they wanted.
“I-I kinda liked that. Like being dissatisfied was the point,” Kaneki ventured. “We’re given time to get attached to Xin and Hohjin both, and like them, we’re dissatisfied and upset by the outcome of their paths of destruction. It’s a pseudo-personal experience of the fruitlessness of revenge.”
He couldn’t let his own internal conflict end the same way. He wouldn’t do that.
“Fruitlessness? I wouldn’t say that.” Next to him, Takatsuki’s eyes glinted. “Raki, who knows both of them, acts as the literal manifestation of their destructive behavior. It’s not that revenge is bad, it’s that revenge should be focused.”
“Ooh, that’s good,” Middle Bin agreed.
“‘Fear is like fire,’” Kaneki quoted, understanding her angle. “Or something like that?”
“Not ‘something’— exactly like that.” Takatsuki grinned.
“That explains why I felt so sad,” Miza said, stroking Shiori’s head. “Like if Xin or Hohjin had simply talked to each other, or maybe talked to those around them, then something would be left behind. Instead—”
“There’s nothing,” Yumitsu finished. “Yes… It’s sad.”
Their discussion continued until there was a knock on the back door of the van. When Big Bin pushed it open—
“Hello,” greeted Tatara, still wearing his mask.
“Yo, Tatara!” Middle Bin waved. “Great work, man! Lighting was awesome as always!”
“Mm.” He stepped into the van to take a seat.
Kaneki, to make space, separated himself from Takatsuki, and she gave him a brief glance before Tatara filled both their visions.
“I can’t take any credit, unfortunately,” Tatara said. “Ayato did most of the work this time.”
Oh, was Ayato— Wait a second. Ayato.
Kaneki’s eyes darted back out the van to see Ayato Kirishima standing at the entrance.
“Aya—?!” Kaneki stood up in a rush and bumped his head. “Argh… A-Ayato?”
“Huh? What the fu— Kaneki?!” Ayato shouted at nearly the same time. “The hell are you doing here?!”
“Language!” Miza called, even though Shiori was fast asleep.
“Sorry!” He tried again, steepling his fingers over his face then pointing them at Kaneki. “Kaneki, what are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same thing!” Kaneki replied. “I didn’t know you worked for Chì Shé!”
“Well, you never asked!” Ayato fired back, as if it was Kaneki’s fault. “And, like— Ugh, whatever, we can talk about this later. Why’re you—”
“You know Ayato?” Tatara interjected, looking at Kaneki.
Kaneki flinched. “U-Uh, yeah! Yeah, his sister’s one of my best friends, and— Well, he helped me a lot when I struggled with lighting early on…”
“I see.”
“He works with me,” Takatsuki explained to Ayato, sticking her hand out. “We got invited to the resort together by your boss!”
“So you’re that, uh—” Ayato snapped his fingers to fill the air— “Takatsuki, right?” He looked to Kaneki for confirmation. “The one Hina likes?”
Kaneki nodded, and Takatsuki tilted her head. “You know a reader?”
“Yeah, something like that…” Ayato scratched his head, his cheeks an undeniable shade of red. “I guess… Could I, uh—”
“An autograph for your friend?” She smiled. “When we get to the resort, sure. I’ll need a book, though.”
“I’ve… got one…” Ayato was mumbling now as he climbed into the car.
Kaneki realized there wasn’t anywhere for Ayato to sit, though, but before he could literally take the fall and sit on the floor, Takatsuki beat him to it. She plopped down in the spot behind the driver’s seat, taking up a surprising amount of space for such a small body.
“Here, take my spot, Haise,” she said, pointing to it. “I like harder seats anyway; those cushy ones in the theater were killing me.”
Kaneki frowned, but he didn’t see her changing her mind. “Thank you…”
“Y’all ready?” Naki called.
Everyone confirmed, and they were off.
—
Kaneki’s first thought about the resort was how hellish it would be to clean, because it was big.
It was nestled in the side of a mountain, with a clear road down to the nearby private beach. He spotted a small zen garden in the back shaded by the trees on the edge of the forest.
There were two buildings, each following traditional architecture to give that homey feeling. A thick waft of steam rose from the smaller building, denoting it as the one for the hot springs. The larger one stood at two stories tall, complete with a small patio that likely overlooked the ocean.
“We’ll draw sticks to decide which rooms!” Miza announced once everyone had their luggage. “But Naki and I are taking the master bedroom. Objections?”
There were none.
“‘Kay!” Naki held a cup with, well, sticks in it. “There’re two more doubles and three singles in the big buildin’ over there! Big Bin n’ I colored the ends of each stick, and then Shiori colored the right rooms!”
Kaneki saw Takatsuki squint in suspicion at the cup, then her gaze roamed across her friends. “I’ll go first, then,” she said.
Miza’s eyes widened. “Uh, actually, Sen, why not—”
“Sure thing, Sen!” Naki thrust the cup toward her, grinning. “Take your pick!”
“N-Naki, uh—!” Miza suddenly seemed to panic for some reason.
“What’s wrong, Miza?” Takatsuki frowned innocently, which she never did. “Afraid I’ll pick the wrong one?”
“I don’t see the problem, Miza,” Tatara said. “It’s random, isn’t it?”
Kaneki glanced sideways at Ayato, who shrugged indifferently. Good; he wasn’t alone in being confused.
“Tatara’s right,” Takatsuki continued. “Me going first is no different from anyone else going first.”
“I-I just mean, why not let Big Bin go first?” Miza defended herself. “He helped Naki with the resort and stuff, so he can get a room first! And then, I don’t know, he can, um, pass it around!”
Big Bin gave a thumbs up. “I like the sound of that.”
Takatsuki raised a brow, but relented with a sigh. “Alright, fine…”
Naki handed Big Bin the cup, and Big Bin drew a stick before handing it to Middle Bin next to him. Middle Bin drew, then passed it to Yumitsu, who drew and passed it to… Ayato, skipping Kaneki.
“Why’d you do that?” Takatsuki asked.
Yumitsu didn’t miss a beat. “What, I can’t pick Ayato now?”
“I-I’m not offended!” Kaneki interjected before more fighting could break out. “I can go last.”
“Haise—!”
“It’s fine, really!” He laughed. “I don’t mind at all.”
Ayato just shrugged and drew his stick. He muttered something under his breath before handing it over to Tatara.
When it went into Tatara’s hands, he stopped for a second and looked at Miza, who nervously smiled back. He scanned the Bins, who seemed indifferent, then settled on Kaneki, wearing the same expression Kaneki always saw on him: a weird glare, like he was looking at vermin.
… Okay, maybe Kaneki was being a little too mean to himself. He took a breath to reel it in.
Tatara drew, and handed the cup to Takatsuki. She made a huffing noise and stuck it out to Kaneki.
“You first,” she said.
“Takatsuki, it really isn’t—”
“You. First.”
Tatara turned his attention to her then, his gaze softening slightly. Meanwhile, Kaneki yielded and picked a stick.
“I’d like to redraw,” Tatara said suddenly.
Miza blinked. “Uh, but there’s only—” She cleared her throat. “Yeah, go on.”
Tatara traded sticks with the one left in the cup, and Takatsuki took that one and gave the cup back to Naki.
“Alright, everyone!!” Naki seemed completely oblivious to any tension based on his grin. “Show us your colors!!”
Ayato, Yumitsu, and Middle Bin got the singles, while Big Bin and Tatara got a double. As for the second double, Kaneki glanced down in abject horror at his color, then across the group at Takatsuki. She was glaring at Miza.
He was rooming with her.

What do you think if takemitchi never went to the past?????
Are we talking about if he never went at all? Like that train killed him in the first chapter and the whole plot never happened????
Well for starters Hina, Naoto and Takemichi are obviously all dead. Pah still ends up in jail, Draken was stabbed by Kiyomasa and killed, Baji still died during the valhalla fight and Kazutora was killed by Mikey. Because of Draken's death, Kisaki is able to become toman's no2. While Chifuyu ends up leading the first division, though he's probably more focused on his aim of taking Kisaki down. Eventually he gets killed by Kisaki too, Kisaki wouldn't let someone with a big grudge against him live, I think he would've found the right opportunity and disposed of Chifuyu.
After Valhalla, Mikey's dark impulses have probably already mostly taken over, he's already lost most of his closest friends and his impulse control. He only has Mitsuya and Emma left for now.
Yuzuha kills Taiju, Kisaki still goads her into it but this time it's because he's trying to make sure toman stays as the most powerful gang. Hakkai takes the blame for her and becomes the black dragons leader but because Kisaki knows the truth he's forced to work with him and toman to protect Yuzuha.
Now this is the bit where it gets a bit complicated, Izana is still around and still has a grudge against Mikey. And Kisaki knows this but since Kisaki is already toman's no2 he has no reason to work with Izana. However Emma is still around and she's a problem, since she's too good of an influence towards Mikey. She's basically stopping Mikey from going full dark impulses which is annoying Kisaki, Mikey will be easier to manipulate with her gone.
Kisaki could possibly attempt to kill two birds with one stone here, Emma's too good for Mikey and Izana is too dangerous to let live. So he pretends to work with Izana and convinces him to kill Emma to make Mikey empty. Emma still dies but this time Izana is the one who kills her. Now because Mikey's dark impulses are already accelerated and because he doesn't have the prior knowledge from Takemichi, meaning the investigation with Emma, Draken and Takemichi never took place. He basically doesn't hesitate to kill Izana, it's still a difficult fight but because of his determination he kills Izana without knowing who Izana actually is. Kakucho probably attempts to get in the way to help Izana and probably dies too.
Either that or Kisaki still kills Emma then Izana joins toman and attempts to mould Mikey into Shinichiro like he did in the manila timeline. Though since Kisaki doesn't actually need Izana in this timeline I'm not sure he would actually take the risk.
Anyway toman doesn't retire and the gang stays as number one, getting more and more dangerous. Eventually Pah is released and joins back, I imagine he would be at least a little uncomfortable with how things have turned out but would probably still follow Mikey regardless.
Eventually South turns up and maybe creates his gang??? The S62 are probably already with Mikey and toman, either because they joined with Izana or saw Mikey defeat Izana and decided they didn't want to be against him. So if South has a gang then it's made up of a bunch of randoms. He still loses and dies to Mikey anyway.
Now it gets a bit complicated with brahman since Mikey and toman has a lot more of a dangerous reputation in this timeline. I can imagine Senju still wanting to fight him but I think Wakasa and Benkei probably would've tried to talk her out of it this time. There's actually a chance Waka and Benkei could be in toman anyway, since we're not sure why they joined kantou manji in the current timeline. Takeomi could also potentially be a part of toman in this timeline too.
So basically either Senju attempts to fight Mikey and dies or she's talked out of it and goes on to live her life elsewhere. The other three either join toman or they continue on to have normal civilian lives.
At some point Pah, Peh and Mitsuya are all killed, either by Mikey or by Kisaki. Either way they're not living too long in this timeline.
After that it's pretty much smooth sailing for Kisaki, he got everything he wanted. I think Mikey likely dies from suicide but at that point it probably won't matter, toman and Kisaki are already no1, Mikey isn't needed anymore. Kisaki already won.

What if Shinichiro was not dead after the hit on the head but in a deep coma and people had no ideas of when he would wake up. Mikey, Emma, Izana, Wakasa, Benkei, Takeomi, everyone goes regulary at his bedside and try to speak with him, in the hope he wakes up. In some chronologies Kisaki kill him (of course). Even in Manila and Izana never knew. Anndd Shinichiro wakes up just before the fight of Toman 2 against the Kanto Manj (he's not killed by Kisaki or some of Mikey's ennemis this time).
Wow man I would call the the ultimative alternative reality.
I honestly think the manga would have been so much different if that was the case.
First of all Kazutora
Kazutora probably would have been sent to juvie but I'm not sure if he will be as mad at Mikey as he was in the manga because, yeah while he is still in a coma and that sucks ass, he isn't dead and the possibility he wakes up would be pretty high if he and lived that long. So let's say, he is still mad at mikey -Mikey still wouldn't want to kill him here. 100% that this isn't a reason for past mikey to go killer mode. I really don't believe that. So his life is not in danger and maybe mikey would have tried to let this fight play out differently. I also don't think the guilt in Baji would be as big as in the og so maybe he would triy to bring Kazutora back with the others together instead.
Baji survives and Kazutora isn't sent to juvie
Inui
This might sound weird but I feel like if shinichiro is still alive even if in a coma he would join toman rather than taiju, only because if shinichiro wakes up he would -in inui's imagination- take over the black dragons again or fuse them together. To be honest it always confused me that he never went to mikey in the first place. Mikey would remind me more of shinichiro than out little dc villain Izana.
So if we are lucky no black dragons conflict. Bad side effect here: taiju will continue abusing his siblings.
Emma
I firmly think the tenjiku arc will mostly play out the same way as before because the underlying problem here was izana's loneliness, jealousy and obsession. Without shin he will get off the rails. Dead or just not in his life anymore doesn't matter here. He will still be mad at mikey and thinks he stole his place in the family but I do think that he would re-consider killing one of the siblings. Does he wanna manipulate Mikey? Probably and killing maybe too but Emma? Not Emma. Shinichiro could wake up and since Emma never had to a thing to do with all this it could break their bond. (In izana's minset)
So Emma could survive
The three deities arc
Braham would still be a thing. Takeomi's greedy ass was what created it and wakasa and benkei would still join for whatever reason.
South would still be a problem. The S62 would still be there.
But kanto manji? Big question mark here because it could be that not losing baji and Emma is enough to make him realize he is allowed to love, feel week and afraid of losing. Maybe. But it could also be that it was his plan all along to continue alone once it gets too dangerous for the others. Especially baji would probably try to work together with draken and try to get him back. He is his childhood friend and obviously one of the few who couldn't move on from him. So he might help draken, taking kazutora with him. With more back up the shooting could have been avoided
Draken has a 50/50 chance to survive
Mikey
Let's say everything happend like I said expect draken is dead and mikey is still the kanto leader. Would he try to kill takemichi? Yes.
And everything would be the same until the battle. I'm pretty sure Sanzu would have to go against senju and baji, the flashback included him and with him being still alive the table turned. He also knew what really happend so we might have gotten to the point faster.
But this all isn't important because if shinichiro wakes up and they make him come with them there are exactly two things that could happen: mikey has a breakdown and shinichiro comforts him, telling him to please come back home.
Or mikey loses it and can't cope that now shinichiro decides to wake up, after all the years he needed him. Would still end in a break down but there could be a different outcome, which I personally don't think would ever happen but wakui really confused mw the past chapters so;
mikey kills shinichiro

Kabal x reader
I couldn’t think of a good title for this so.. you know!! Just a little background, I know a lot of this is just going to seem randomly thrown together in terms of plot.. but does Smut really need a plot? Well, kinda. Just enjoy the ride! Lol It is a long one folks!! Thank you for reading, it means a lot! The hum of the fluorescent lights filled the silence in the small room you and Kabal were seated in. You could understand why Kabal of all people would be in an interrogation room of the special forces, but you, that went beyond you. Kabal did his best to keep you out of getting mixed up with his work detail. You looked over at the man in question a scowl on your face, for more then one reason. Tapping your foot out of impatience, and honestly not wanting be close to him right now your heart couldn't help but thump faster when he looked up jos eyes connecting with yours. He was leaning forward, his elbows resting across his knees. He let out a sigh before he spoke, annoyance written all over his face, annoyance and exhaustion. The on going fight between you both was taking its toll on him. "Are you still mad at me, it's been a week." His voice came out calm, a little hoarse. You raised your eyebrows at him, you parted your lips before glaring at him. "She sent you three nudes, that you so happened to open and not tell her to stop. So yes, I would like to think I am still mad at you." Who is the mysterious girl in question you ask? None other then Seerena. You knew Kabal pined after her for a while, but you thought all that stopped when you two got together. She did nothing but use him, lead him on, and put him in very bad and very dangerous situations. Kabal let out an irritated sigh before straightening up in his seat. "It's not like that at all, I-" He was interrupted from trying to explain himself for the umpteenth time by the rusted screech of metal indicating that someone was entering the room. Both of you turned your attention to the entrance when you heard the scrap of the metal door slide across the concrete floor. A blonde woman, that Kabal immediately rolled his eyes and scoffed at entered the room, followed by two operatives, armed with riffles and keeping their eyes trained on a smug looking Kabal. Sonya walked to the table that sat in the center of the room, slapping a manila folder down on it before scooting back the chair and taking a seat. Kabal raised his brow at the blonde in question, his face stony. "Yeah, I'm not to thrilled with this either Kabal." She spoke, giving the same amount of disdained that was given to her. "Why are we here then? I have much better things to do then waste my time with you trying to get hot juicy gossip from me." He shot back, crossing his arms out of annoyance. Sonya opened up the folder before sliding it across the table, resting her elbows on the cold metal before lacing her fingers together, resting her chin on them. Kabal reached out for a photo, giving a sarcastic laugh at the imagine of the man. He knew very well who was in the picture. It was Simons, a competitor to the black dragon. Throwing down the picture he gave an annoyed sigh. "It would seem we have found somebody worse than the black dragon- Sonya stated sarcastically- Seems he is trying to place his mark on the market, and doing whatever he can to out do you goons." She stated, smirking at the annoyed look that claimed Kabals face. "What does that have to do with us?" He asked curtly. Kabal was not in the mood to give out any free information, he didn’t want you involved and he didn't want to get involved in something that had nothing to do with him. "I can't believe the words that are about to come out of my mouth, we need your help Kabal. Yours and Y/n." Kabals mood turned dangerous at the mention of your name. You had nothing to do with any of this, and he didn't want you dragged into anything unnecessary, his quick movement causing the operatives to aim their guns at him. Sonya raised a hand, commanding the to stand down. You raised a brow at Kabal before turning your confused face to Sonya. Your gaze turned to the men that finally put down their guns and you let out a breath you were holding. You knew Kabal could hold his own, but you didn’t have to see it. "We need both of your help to infiltrate a gathering and collect intel." She started. Kabal scoffed before rolling his eyes. "Why would we do that, exactly?" He and Blade weren't exactly on good terms, enemies would be a better way to describe their relationship. "Well, for starters you wouldn't draw too much attention going into a ratty party like this. And two, y/n isn't involved in any of this, which is a very good thing for us. She can get inside without too much suspicion." "You've lost your fucking mind. Like hell I would let her do that!" Kabals voice raising and the chair scooted back harshly against the concrete floor. You looked between the both of them before speaking up. "What's the plan exactly?" Both of them turned their attention to you this time, Kabal looked lost at your question, his face falling as he squinted at you and opened his mouth to ask if you’ve lost your mind. "You can't be serious. This guy is bad news, this isn’t something you need to volunteer yourself for." He started and you rolled your eyes at him before turning your attention to Sonya. "It seems our new friend like to make trades, this one specifically is in the human trafficking trade. We need you to go into the party, We have someone planned to escort you in as your date that can get all the intel that we need, and Kabal will accompany you and act as your bodyguard. We can't exactly enter, so we will be ready and waiting with back up from a safe distance." She took a breath moving the file closer to your hand. Opening it you began to scan through the information and the pictures. "This is him?" You asked sliding the picture across the table towards her. She nodded her head, raising a brow in the process. Kabal was seething with anger at this point. Being ignored by you, then getting yourself involved in something reckless. He did it, but he could also protect himself. You on the other hand, the thought alone made him mad to even think about if something happened. You took a minuet before giving an answer, chewing on the inside of your cheek. "I'll do it." Kabal clenched his fists in anger, turning to you when everyone left the room. "Have you lost it? I know your upset with me right now, but this goes beyond the point of getting back at me" He left his seat, walking over to where you sat, hovering over you at this point. "You lost the right to have any say after your little texting fiasco." You reminded him before standing up and moving to push past him. Reaching out he grabbed a hold of your arm, holding you in place. "I told you it was nothing. She sent me the messages. I would never entertain the thought. When are you going to stop holding this over my head" He started his voice sounding hurt that you wouldn't let this go. "Well, you should have told her the first time she sent you a message, instead of having me feel like I am not enough." Kabals eyes widened in shock, his heart hurt hearing that, Jerking your arm out of his hold you pushed past him before walking out of the door .Kabal wasn't an idiot, he knew he fucked up, He didn’t want you to ever feel the way you were. The tension between you two had grown so thick you could cut it with a knife, and he had to relieve it before anything happened. Later that night.. You finished fixing your hair when Sonya entered the room you were occupying to get ready. "I wanted to thank you for doing this. I know we are asking a lot, especially for the person we are asking you to help out with. We know if something gets bad Kabal would get you out no matter what." Sonya stated you turned to look at her before giving a small smile. Sonya raised a brow at you before leaning back against the wall. "If it helps." She wasn't stupid, and could tell something was bothering you/ "What did he do?" She asked, moving to sit in the empty chair across from you, arms crossed. You let out a sigh before telling her about the Seerena incident. The nudes, and the fight that happened between the both of you. "Kabal may be stupid -Sonya started before raising her brows and giving a disbelieved look- but when it comes to you he is protective and knows he has a good woman, I don't see him doing anything to jeopardize what he has with you" She shook her head before standing up and heading to the door. "I can't believe I just took up for him of all people." She mumbled before leaving the room. Shaking your head you took a deep breath thinking she had a point, but it still hurt. Maybe it was time to let it go and talk to him. Taking a breath, you put in your earrings before standing up and giving yourself a once over. You needed to talk to him before everything started. Kabal straightened out his tie and cleared his throat, watching as Sonya and was talking to a man that he assumed was the person that was going to escort you. He was tall, black hair, piercing blue eyes. He was good looking, and it made the agitation he felt even worse. He glared at him, his arms crossed over his chest. Paying little mind to the conversation at hand, Kabal kept his eyes on the hallway, waiting for you to come out. The man approached him. "So, you are the bodyguard for tonight?" Kabal raised a brow and looked to the right to stare at him from the corner of his eyes. "My priority is my girl that you are escorting. You are nothing more to me then that. If anything goes sour, your ass is grass." Kabal wasn't in the mood to hold a conversation with the man and he turned his eyes back to the hall. The man that would be escorting you stood straight, his hands in front of him. the left hand resting on his right wrist as he waited. when he heard the man let out a low whistle, he slowly turned his head towards him, thoughts of his murder on his mind. Kabal turned back to see you, his breath catching in his throat as he saw you standing in the entrance way. He slowly uncrossed his arms as he took in your form. You wore a black velvet halter top dress, with a slit that ran down to your sternum. Your hair was put up into a sleek bun, your bangs swept to the left of your forehead, falling above your eyebrow. The way Kabals heart began to race, and the hungry look in his eyes when he made contact with yours, was all you needed to feel the same emotions he felt in the instance. Taking a breath you walked into the room towards Kabal, but stopped short when the man had stepped in front of you. Taking your hand into his, he brought it up towards his face, pressing his lips to the back of it in a gentle kiss. "I didn't realize they picked such a breath taking woman for me to accompany." Kabal wanted to take his hook sword to the man and make quick work of him. His blood boiling with him ogling you like that. You were his, and he wasn’t afraid to let that man know. "Hands off, pretty boy." He warned grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. "Play nicely." You commented, placing a hand on Kabals forearm, making him release the man. When he let him go, you moved to stand between them running your hand up his chest, before interlocking your arms with the mans. "I'm sorry about that." Straightening out his suit he cut his eyes at Kabal, before placing his hand on the small of your back and leading you away to where Sonya and the rest of the special forces waited. Kabal gave you an incredulous look, were you trying to get under his skin. He wanted to show you what happens when you tease him, he wanted to pound that lesson into you and make sure you wouldn't forget it any time soon. The though alone sending blood to his cock that started to strain against his pants. Sonya began to explain the mission and what everyone was supposed to be doing. The hairs on the back of your neck stood up when you felt Kabals eyes on you. Looking out the corner of your eyes you could see him, looking a you like a hungry animal who had been starved. The look along causing your breath to hitch in your throat. The feelings that started to blossom in your stomach, the tingle of your vulva making your rub your thighs together to get some relief from the throb that started. Kabal knew that look all too well, he knew you body like that back of his hand, he knew the effect he had on you, one look getting you frustrated. It had been a long week of nothing but pent up frustration for the both of you, and Kabal was ready to cut it down. He thought about all the ways he wanted to make you scream, to hear you pant and beg for him. He ran his tongue on the inside of his cheek before trying his best to listen to what Sonya was saying. More pressing matters took his mind over the mission at hand. He adjusted the white collar of his shirt before clearing his throat and shifting, he was starting to get impatient. Kabal glanced over and watched as the man started to lower his hand closer to your ass. The audacity made Kabal want to cut his hands clean off before anyone knew what happened. Ready to teach the guy a lesson on not to touch what is his. He wanted to take you right here and now to prove his point. His agitation turned into antsyness as he waited for Sonya to finish giving the briefing. You and your escort had a vehicle parked out front waiting to take you to your destination. Kabal was to ride up front to keep an eye on the ride there. You could feel anxiety sit on your stomach, this was about to happen. You didn't have time to think before you were being whisked to the vehicle. You peered behind you to see Kabal watching you before he fell into step behind you. The chill of the night hit you, and out of instinct your brought your arms closer to your body, shrinking into yourself to get some heat. You heard the click of your door opening, and sliding into the seat, you pushed up with your hands to adjust and get into a more comfortable position. When you heard your door close, confusion crossed your features when you heard the other door close as well. Turning your head you didn't have time to process what was happening when you felt warm lips quickly claim yours, a hand caressed your cheek, holding you in place. You pushed against the man, when he let up relief flooded your face when you realized it was Kabal. Before any words could be spoken your balled the collar of his shirt into your fists and you pulled him towards you once more, your lips claiming his. Kabal towers over you, caging you with his body. You could feel his left hand start to trail from the curve of your breast all the way down to your thigh. Your hand reaching up to rest on his cheek and you both refused to break the connection from each other. You moaned into the kiss, conveying all the hunger you had for him. Kabal Squeezed your thigh before pulling it straight out, resting it across his lap, causing you to lay down to get in a more comfortable position. Kabal broke the kiss first, both of you panting for breath as his eyes bore into your with a hunger you had grown to love. You tilted your head up, trying to bring your lips back together, your mouth falling open when you felt him move his hand to the inner part of your thigh, the sensation alone making you wetter then you already were. You could feel his finger tip ghost between your slit, a low groan leaving his lips. "No panties baby girl?" The husky tone in his voice caused chills to explode up your arms. Grabbing the calf of your left leg he brought it up until your knee bent, never breaking eye contact with you. you felt as his fingers rolled over your clit, removing your hand from his cheek you quickly covered your mouth, your other hand trying to find purchase on the closed window frame. Your stomach already tightening up and the sensation that set your blood on fire. Kabal was having none of it, he wanted to hear you sing your praises to him. Moving his finger to your opening he inserted his middle and ring finger into you, curling his fingers up wards with each thrust in. 'Fuck' It came out in a wanton voice, your fingers on the door clenching, desperate to hold on to anything, the moans leaving your mouth causing Kabal to become even more transfixed on you. He wanted more. Kabal not able to get over the needy look on your face, Sensual and desperate for him, it made him work his fingers faster. Your body writhes below him and he never brakes eye contact with you as he worked you over with his fingers, you could feel his erection push against the curve of your ass, wiggling it on him for good measure. You closed your eyes and threw your head back, your heart racing so quick you thought it was going to burst. You were so close, your whole body tingling with the need for release. The sensation becoming so intense you reached down you grabbed the wrist of the fingers inside of you, trying to find anything to hold onto for the release that was coming closer and closer to wracking your body. You moved to sit up and Kabal pushed you back down, removing your hand from his. He shook his head, his free hand moving up to rest around your neck, giving a slight squeeze, he leaned down until your noses brushed together. "Not a good idea princess, you are going to ride this out." You nodded your head and your breath started to become more labored, Kabal ghosted his lips over yours and you tried to lean up to connect them. Your hand moving up and down his chest before trailing lower. You wanted him to feel good too, desperate to reach his throbbing cock. When you finally found the delicious prize you were looking for, you began to rub it, getting a breathy moan out of Kabal, he took a deep shuttering breath, before moving the hand from your neck to your breast, taking it out he squeezed it before running his tongue around the bud. His teeth clenched around it, he started to lick it in quick strokes, before sucking on your nipple, pulling his head back, you heard it 'pop' when he removed it from his mouth. "Cum for me, I need you come for Daddy." You nodded your head, and Kabals name left your mouth as a mantra. Your toes curled, your leg staying open only from Kabal holding it, Cupping Kabals cheek you brought his lips to your, holding the sides of his face with both of your hands, taking deep breaths to calm your heart. Sucking your bottom lip between your teeth, you pushed Kabal back so his shoulders were touching the seat. He watched you with a raised brow as you worked your leg out from behind him, and moved in the cramped area to straddle him. Grabbing the flaps of his dress coat you pulled him forward until you nose brushed against his. "It's Daddies turn for release now." Pushing up on your knees you reached down and made quick work of his button, sliding your hands into the now opened space, your fingers made room to wrap around the warm, smooth flesh of his cock. You twisted your hand carefully, watching as the small movement alone made Kabal throw his head back, resting it against the back seat and his started up, dazed before closing his eyes and taking a shaky breath. You tugged at his pants trying to get them down, Kabal realizing your struggle for the moment sat up, quickly reaching down to help you pull them to the top of his knees. Moving the slit of your dress to the side, you guided his erect cock to your entrance, lowering down, you stopped when his head pushed past your lips, kissing your entrance. Bracing your hands on his shoulder you drew Kabals attention to you. "Who's is it Kabal?" Your voice taking a serious tone as your eyes, lidded with lust, bore into his. He knew what you were playing at, and if this is what put it to an end, and the way for you believed him, he was going to do anything, if that meant worshiping your body, praising you, and telling you what you both already knew, he would do it. "All yours.." His voice was husky. He closed his eyes and breathed deep through his nose as you took him in more. "Whos pussy drives you wild?" You slowly gyrated your hips, Kabals head flinging back before he could composed himself and lifted it back up to face you. "Yours.. only yours baby girl." His hands moved down to grip your hips, his thumbs causing a tickling sensation on them as he moved them up and down to keep himself focused. You sunk lower, his girth stretching you out deliciously, the sensation causing your lips to fall open as your rolled your head back. You brought your eyes back to him. His eyes were pleading with you, he needed to move, to be bottomed out inside of you. He couldn't handle this, he needed to be deep into you. "Could Seerena ever do this for you?" Kabal moved his hands down to cup your ass, his forearms on the small of your back pulling you closer towards him. He shook his head no. "Never.." Before he could say anything else, you caught his lips in a hungry kiss as you took him completely. Catching your breath you began to bounce in his lap. Leaning forward Kabal nipped at your collar bone, his tongue trailing in between the valley of your breasts. Your hands moved to the back of Kabals head, your fingers lightly grasping onto him as you rode him. Kabal watched you as you took charge, his chest tightened with pride, you were a goddess that chose him. You were more than enough for him. He helped pull you down, timing your motions so he could met it with his thrusts. “Kabal” His name came out in a whiny moan. His brow furrowed before he wrapped an arm around the small of your back. Reaching back, you cupped and began to roll Kabals balls. Your plan was to drive him wild, to remind him of what he has. Kabal was so close, his balls were starting to tingle. Leaning forward, he places sloppy kisses on your neck as his release began coming faster and faster. "I'm about to cum.." He started, moving to lift you up. You placed your hands on his wrists, stopping him and drawing his hazel eyes to look at you. "I want you to finish in me." The words alone made him lose it. Kabal leaned forward and rested his head on your chest as he let out a few breathy moans, trying to calm himself down, his cock twitched with each squirt of his load filling you up. You rode him slowly, clenching him with your walls, helping milk him for everything he had. Leaning forward you rested your forehead on Kabals, eyes closed as you started to slow your breathing, exhaustion starting to lay claim to you. Sitting up, you cupped Kabals cheeks before you kissed him, much gentler this time, he kissed you back, not wanting to break the moment. Kabal moved the pad of his thumb back and forth over your cheek bone. You cupped his before leaning forward, wrapping your arms around his neck. "You know the texts meant nothing to me. You, you are the real fucking deal to me. I would never fuck that up." You knew he was telling the truth, and you had to admit your anger got the best of you. "I know.. I'm sorry, I should have just listened to you when you were telling me to begin with." Kabal brushed your hair out of your eyes before he lifted you up, careful to not make a mess of your dress. Rolling his eyes he let out a loud sigh before tucking himself back away. He turned his head to look at you a lop sided grin on his face. You sat sideways facing him, your left leg resting on your right, your head resting on the seat before you raised your brow, waiting for him to voice what was on his mind. "I hope that warm up didn't tire you out, because I'm keeping you up all night after this mission." Rolling your eyes, you sat up, resting on your knees as you leaned over him, his right hand coming up to rest loosely on your ass. You gave him a quick kiss, a smirk on your lips before you pulled back. "Please do." @apocalypticwafflekitten
