Max and I haven't been able to go on that date yet. The first time, he had to cancel because he had to go to Milton Keynes for a meeting, and the second time, I had to cancel because Maeve and I got sick and I didn't want to go and risk getting him sick too.
But after several weeks we finally managed to schedule a day, and it would be today. Maeve is going to spend the whole weekend with Carlos, which would be great because even if he hadn't, I would keep my promise to introduce them only if it was someone I knew would stay in my life longer.
But he was late, and I was getting nervous because I had asked Carlos to pick her up at seven because Max would come to pick me up at seven-thirty. And besides not wanting Carlos to see him, obviously, I didn't want Maeve to see him either.
I heard knocks on the door and ran there to see Carlos.
"I know, I know, I'm late and I'm sorry. I had to wait for the plumber to fix a pipe that was flooding my apartment and he was late, and then I got stuck in traffic, and..."
"It's okay, just hurry up." I shouted for Maeve to come quickly and handed him the backpacks.
"Why the rush and why are you all dressed up?"
At that moment, Max parked, and I panicked. He got out of the car and was smiling until he saw Carlos and stopped smiling.
"Why is he here?" I didn't know what to say. "Are you going out with him? Is that why you wanted me to leave quickly? So that I wouldn't see you going out with Verstappen?"
"It's not because of that."
"Then why?" I didn't say anything. "Answer my fucking question."
"I didn't want Maeve to see, okay? Because I stick to our agreements, she doesn't need to know that I'm going out with someone, and neither do you."
"But why him?"
"Because he invited me and I wanted to." He laughed. "Look, I don't have to give you any explanations. Focus on taking care of our daughter and I’ll deal with my live life ok?" At that moment, she appeared.
"Sorry, I couldn't find Mr. Bibbles." She said, hugging her stuffed rabbit. "Can we go Daddy?"
"Yes baby." He picked her up, and they went to the front, and luckily Max had returned to his car when Carlos passed with Maeve in his arms.
"I'm sorry; I didn't know he would be here."
"It's okay, he was supposed to arrive earlier but got delayed. Neither you nor he were supposed to see each other.”
“You didn’t want him to know that you were going out with me?”
“Carlos and I have an agreement about relationships and I didn’t want him nor Maeve to know about it right now.”
"What kind of agreement?"
“We don't introduce anyone to Maeve without the other being aware, and not with a short amount of time in the relationship, you know? We don't want to put someone in her life just for that person to leave without explanation."
"I understand."
"Our separation was amicable but also difficult; she was small and doesn't remember, but she doesn't quite understand why her friends at school have parents together and she's the only one who doesn't."
"It's okay, you don't need to explain to me." He says kindly. "I can imagine how difficult it is to raise a child, and I also understand what it's like to be the child of divorced parents; I know you're doing the best you can for her."
"Thank you."
"Well, shall we go to our date? They say the third time's the charm." I laughed and went inside to grab my purse and my phone, locked the house and went to his car.
...
The date was great; he made me laugh a lot, and I hadn't had that much fun in a long time.
I felt light, and I felt like I could be myself without being defined only as Carlos's ex or as a mother; I could be myself again.
"Just a minute." My phone started ringing, and I saw it was Carlos. "Hello?"
"I'm sorry; I took my eyes off her for 1 minute, and..." I immediately got up.
"What happened?"
"Maeve and I are at the hospital."
"Which hospital?" I grabbed my purse and started walking towards the exit, and Max came along.
“What happened?"
"She was on the couch with me watching a movie and she asked me for a juice box when I went to get it, she started jumping on the couch and when I heard a loud noise, I went back, and she had fallen and hit her head on the table." He spoke quickly. "I'm really sorry; I..."
"It's okay."
"It's not; she cut her head and had to get stitches. I'm a terrible father."
"Carlos, stop." He looked at me. "These things happen; kids jump on things, they fall, and they get hurt, so stop blaming yourself."
"I was just so scared, and..." I hugged him.
"It's okay, everything will be fine." He hugged me back and relaxed. "What did the doctor say?"
"That it wasn't anything serious and that I did the right thing by bringing her as soon as possible; it could have been worse if she had fallen asleep after hitting her head."
"Okay, let's go in." He went in, and I turned to Max. "I'm sorry for ruining our night."
"You didn't ruin anything; our night was perfect."
"Except when I switched back to mom mode."
"Your daughter got hurt, and you did what any worried mother would do."
"Thank you for bringing me here too."
"You're welcome." He smiled. "I would love to go out again. If you want, of course."
"I would love to. I'll send you a message, and we'll make plans."
"Perfect." He said goodbye, and I went into the room.
"Mommy." I went to her and kissed her forehead.
"Hi, sweetheart, how are you feeling?"
"My head hurts and I'm very sleepy." She gave a little smile and blinked her eyes very slowly.
"It's okay, you can sleep again." I pulled the blanket up to cover her more, and she closed her eyes and was soon asleep, and I sat next to him on the couch there.
"How was your date?"
"We don't need to talk about that."
"I know, it was just a question."
"Let's just focus on her well-being and forget about today." He agreed, and we fell into silence.
And that's how we spent the night at the hospital until we could leave the next morning.

The third day of the week arrived promptly, where (Y/N) found herself comfortably seated in one of the library chairs, with her chemistry books scattered on the table in front of her as she studied for the exams she had coming up, with Jungwoo beside her.
It was becoming her routine for the week; after last Friday's party, what she most desired was to avoid being at home, especially after having an argument with her mother when she returned from the party.
She didn't want to deal with her in a good time.
Annoyed that her mother had thought it was a great idea to take away her right to use her own car as punishment for disobeying her that night and leaving the house... staying in the library seemed the most pleasant option; with silence, able to listen to music through her AirPods, without her mother bothering her every five minutes and being able to review what she had learned in her last classes: it was something she could take advantage of. She took a sip of her vanilla latte, which had been sponsored by Jungwoo, who, in an attempt to apologize for abandoning her in that way during last Friday's party, promised to pay for each of her daily drinks for a week and a half, no matter the cost.
And even though (Y/N) could afford that or even triple, she was still happy about it. Gifted things tasted even better anyway.
Of course, she first gave Jungwoo a -no- beating after telling him everything that had happened during his absence, but still, she appreciated that her friend was okay even though she hadn't heard anything from him until Saturday night.
During these last few days, with a new routine, (Y/N) was almost always in the same places, at the same times, and if she was honest, she was surprised not to have bumped into Jung Jaehyun at any moment.
It was weird; she would normally see him somewhere around the school, either accompanied by Lucas or just sitting on one of the benches while smoking his 'n' cigarette of the day. But simply, since Friday, she hadn't heard anything from him... she hadn't even bumped into Lucas, which increased the level of strangeness, considering he was a social butterfly, he was always around. (Y/N) had been aware of her words after Jaehyun had taken her home: she could no longer continue with whatever deal they had, with all the stress of her own tasks and knowing that no matter what she did, her cousin wouldn't give up his addictions, it was best to give up.
Although it would hurt her soul to know that there was no way to help Daeho.
But thinking about it, she didn't know if she had really been sincere about each going their own way... apparently Jaehyun had taken it very seriously to not show up anywhere, and although (Y/N) knew very well that being close to him didn't bring her anything good... his presence hadn't been so bothersome in the last few days. Really, after sharing a few words and spending more time with him, she couldn't say that she disliked his existence. It was funny if you asked the (Y/N) from a month ago, there would be no way she could have imagined that, somehow, she would be related to none other than Jung Jaehyun, who, on the outside, just seemed to be one more problem.
She tried to stop thinking about it and tried to focus her gaze on the book in front of her, but after a few minutes... it was difficult for her. There was something inside her that made her feel uneasy but she couldn't think what it was.
"There’s a race in Kosmo today" her best friend's voice brought her out of her thoughts.
Kosmo was the neighborhood that was right in the middle of the city, dividing Kwangya and Neo Zone. (Y/N) knew that there were usually illegal races in that area because it was when the rich kids from Kwangya usually dared to compete against Neo Zone.
"And why should I care...?"
"Your cousin will go to bet," Jungwoo replied, interrupting her study session.
The girl opened her eyes in surprise and asked, "How do you know?"
"Daeho told Mingi, and Mingi told me," he replied simply, shrugging his shoulders. The boy fell silent for a moment and cleared his throat. "Don’t you want to go?" He asked curiously.
(Y/N) looked up from her books and observed her friend incredulously. "Why would I want to go?"
"To keep an eye on Daeho," he answered.
"I'm still mad with him, I've decided not to help him anymore. I really tried, I've been trying for the past few years, but he doesn't want help and now I understand," the girl confessed, closing her book and letting out a sigh.
"Still... don't you think it would be fun? Getting out of our comfort zone a bit... seeing what all this racing stuff is about. I've heard they're amazing," Jungwoo insisted.
"Jungwoo, my mom will kill me if she finds out I went to an illegal race," the girl continued, taking a sip of her coffee.
"She won't find out."
"Jungwoo..."
"Come on, (Y/N), we won't even be in Neo Zone, it'll be in Kwangya only. We'll go, watch the race, and leave. We won't even make contact with anyone. We'll go on our own," the boy assured her, moving closer to her. "Please, I think it would be interesting to break out of our routine, just for one night, what could go wrong?"
"Many things could go wrong, Woo," she replied.
"We won't know unless we try," he pouted, clasping his hands together. "Please."
She hated how persuasive her best friend was.
She sighed and shook her head. "Fine, but at the first sign of trouble, we're leaving without a second thought."
"I love you so much," Jungwoo replied, hugging her shoulders.
"And I really hate you."
______________________________________________
The night fell faster than she expected, and among the roar of engines and the intense music that could be heard on the outskirts of Kosmo, (Y/N) felt something cold run through her body.
She could see familiar faces here and there, some of her classmates from Kwangya were in the place, and from the opposite side, the cars and familiar faces of Neo Zone were present.
It was a strange atmosphere for her; she had always played it safe, and now she didn't even know what to think. She felt herself getting closer to Jungwoo to not lose him, the last thing she needed was for them to separate like they did at the party.
She didn't think she could survive alone.
And it's not that she was dumb to think otherwise, but her parents raised her in an environment where they made her believe that she shouldn't do things outside her daily life. (Y/N) was afraid of adventures. Her life was governed by being obedient and doing the right thing; she didn't know when the moment of rebellion she had a few days ago when she left home the night of the party had been wise.
And now finding herself in Kosmo secretly from her mother at an illegal race? She must have gone crazy.
She believed even more so that she had gone crazy when something inside her hoped to run into none other than Jung Jaehyun.
She didn't understand why the urgency of what was happening, and even less why she expected to run into Jaehyun before running into Daeho.
Maybe it was because she found it strange not to have seen him since last Friday's party.
But she knew that if there was one place Jaehyun wouldn't miss... it would be the race tonight.
"Are you looking for Daeho?" Jungwoo asked when he saw her looking around. "He's probably with Mingi."
How could she explain to her friend that the person she was looking for was none other than Jung Jaehyun?
She nodded without saying more, and they both continued on their way while cautiously observing their surroundings. The smell of marijuana and car engines was embedded in the place, the music made their ears ring, and the night breeze made their bodies tremble.
(Y/N)'s eyes drifted away when she noticed Lucas in the distance, having a conversation with another guy. Lucas felt her gaze on him and looked at the girl with confusion before approaching her after apologizing to his companion.
"Hey, Kwangya kiddos, what brings you here on this magnificent night?" Lucas asked enthusiastically.
"We wanted to know what these races are about," Jungwoo replied simply.
"Hmm, interesting," the tall guy nodded. "Well, you're in luck, Jaehyun will race today, are you sure you want to see the show? The best of the area against someone from Yellow Wood," Lucas explained while cracking his fingers slightly.
Upon hearing the guy's name, (Y/N) looked up and paid attention to Lucas's words.
"If you're interested in betting, come to me," Lucas advised.
"I think we're fine like this," said (Y/N).
"Alright, take care. I'll go look for my guy to get him ready for the race," Lucas announced as he patted Jungwoo on the back.
The guy walked away from them with a smile, and Jungwoo responded with one of his own, then he looked at his friend and frowned, "relax, you're anxious."
How could she not be?
But before she could even answer anything, a few meters away, she saw the familiar face she had been looking for. In the distance, the silhouette of Jung Jaehyun was leaning against his car while talking to a few guys from Neo Zone, his neck tattoos weren't very visible due to the darkness of the night but she could distinguish them a bit, then... as if he had called him, Jaehyun's gaze moved to connect with hers, making her freeze in place.
Jaehyun frowned when he saw her standing just a few steps away from him, looking like a lost puppy as she stood beside Jungwoo.
The sight reminded him of a month ago when Daeho had clumsily brought (Y/N) to Neo Zone. Although this time she was accompanied by her best friend, another rich and spoiled kid from Kwangya. He observed the outfit she had decided to wear, once again, just like that time, it wasn't extravagant, no famous brand could be seen in her attire, and the only piece of jewelry she wore was a pair of earrings that definitely looked like gold...
He hoped she wouldn't lose them tonight.
Because they made her look good.
The surprise was evident on the girl's face when she took a better look at the brunet's body, who was now walking towards her, wearing a hoodie with its hood over his head and as he got closer, the darkness of the night was no longer so intrusive. It hadn't been enough to hide the bruises that were scattered across his body.
There was one under his cheek, just below his left eye, and it was reddish, as if it were flushed. Then, looking at the ones between his jaw and his neck, she noticed how they subtly mixed with the ink of the tattoo he had on his neck. That one was difficult to distinguish thanks to the dark lines that adorned that part of his body, but if you paid enough attention, it was alarming.
When she lowered her gaze over his torso and then looked at his hands, she could see the intense shades of red that his knuckles contained, as if ground blood had accumulated on each of them.
It wasn't the first time she had seen Jaehyun or Lucas with a bruise or two on a school day, but it was the first time she had seen it up close.
Her heart was pounding a mile a minute. Why was it suddenly doing this?
"Did you lost your way home?" Jaehyun asked when he was in front of her.
"Jaehyun," she muttered quietly, "... are you okay?"
The girl didn't need much to realize that was the stupidest question she could ask right now, of course he wasn't okay. And although she knew this happened regularly in Jaehyun's life, she couldn't help but fill her head with doubts; what had to happen for him to end up like this?
... was that the reason he hadn't gone to school?
A small smile appeared on the boy's face, and even with the different colors decorating his face, she could still notice the dimples that formed in it.
Why did he still look good?
"I don't think you came here to ask that, Angel," Jaehyun replied mockingly. "I really believed in your whole story about us going on our ways, so what are you doing at a race where most of the spectators are from Neo Zone?"
The girl was left speechless. "Jungwoo brought me here."
"Well, if that's the case, enjoy the races, I think it'll be fun for you to spice up your Wednesday nights a bit," he continued with a sarcastic smile.
"What happened to you?" She asked again.
Jaehyun didn't answer.
He had gotten himself into big trouble... all thanks to Jeno.
He had trusted that all his merchandise would be sold by the time Monday came around, but after being at Johnny Suh's party, where other dealers were also present, he didn't manage to sell what he needed.
He had a little less than half left in his pockets and in Lucas's.
Luck had not been on his side this time, and when he had to be accountable to Lee Sooman, he had to take responsibility for his brother's actions. And despite telling him that he would not take care of him like he used to after the argument they had... he'd much rather take the beatings he had received than see Jeno the way he did in the mirror.
That time, it really felt eternal. He still remembers the angry (but also mocking) look Sooman had on his face when Jaehyun and Lucas brought the money to his office and after asking Lucas none too kindly to leave, that was when Jaehyun knew what was coming.
With Cheol Uk by his side, leading him out of the office to the vacant lot not far from the warehouse, Jaehyun could do nothing but accept what was coming.
It was one blow after another, and he knew well that at that moment, defending himself was not something he should do or he would end up worse.
He remembers feeling every punch with tremendous pain, and all he could think about was Jeno and how he would have felt if it had been him getting beaten up.
At least Jaehyun was used to the beatings and had no choice; he already knew that all of this was part of being someone from Neo Zone, so he simply had to continue to comply with what Sooman demanded to the letter unless he wanted to end up again in the position he was in.
What felt like hours was really just a few minutes; Cheol Uk stopped hitting him after a while and without saying more, he left. Leaving Jaehyun in the middle of the vacant lot with a broken lip and eyebrow as he spat blood and reached for his abdomen for some support to get up and walk to where he knew Lucas was waiting for him.
How much more? How much longer would he have to keep with all of this?
But, right now, it wasn't something he should talk about.
"It's really not something you need to know," he replied with a smirk. "You came to enjoy the race, right? Then do it, I'll be running in a few minutes, if you don't get scared by the atmosphere here before that, I'm sure you'll want to see me," Jaehyun continued, winking at her.
"I think it'll be fun to see you in second place," the girl teased.
"Baby... I always win," Jaehyun bragged, looking her directly in the eyes.
It was then that the girl didn't say anything else, she just kept her gaze on his. She hated feeling intrigued by Jaehyun himself. Because right now she didn't even feel like she was in Kosmo, with Jaehyun in front of her looking directly at her, she didn't even feel real. She was getting into fire and she knew it.
And she didn't know if she could escape from it.
For a moment she felt a heaviness on her shoulders and warmth surrounded her, causing her to snap out of her thoughts and notice that the jacket that Jaehyun was wearing over his hoodie was now over her body.
"You were trembling like a chihuahua," Jaehyun explained. "Don't consider it an act of kindness, I'm just returning the favor after having done my jobs those two weeks... at least now they won't kick me out of school this evaluation period," he continued.
"I'm not sure if I should feel good knowing that I'm indirectly helping an illegal business," she replied, adjusting the jacket.
"No one needs to know," he replied. "Good luck tonight, don't get lost too much because things get interesting," he said, and without further ado, he turned around to go back to his friends.
(Y/N) stood perplexed in her place, and it was then that she felt Jungwoo's presence next to her.
"What was that?"
"I have no idea."
Tumblr media
The next morning, after putting her books back in her backpack, (Y/N) looked at the jacket folded inside her bag, feeling a heaviness and remembering the events of the previous night.
The rumors were true... Jung Jaehyun was the best street racer in the area, because he not only competed once the day before, but two more times, winning 3 victories in a short time, and to be honest, it had been impressive.
She hadn't run into him again after the brief conversation they had, and even though she had been waiting for it... she and Jungwoo bolted from the place when they heard the police sirens approaching Kosmo.
The last thing she needed was for her parents to find out about her escapade.
She didn't hear anything from Daeho the night before, she even doubted if he had really gone to the race.
She didn't want to give too much importance to the situation, which is why she chose to continue her path through the school hallways, hoping to return the jacket that was at the bottom of her bag and trying to divert her thoughts to something other than Jaehyun.
And as if she had summoned him, she saw him under the entrance roof as he leaned against the wall and took a drag from the cigarette in his hands. (Y/N) checked the day's weather and cursed when she noticed the raindrops falling lightly. She had forgotten about today's forecast.
Jaehyun was lost in his thoughts as he watched the rain and let out the smoke in his chest.
The bruises were still visible.
She stopped abruptly to take the jacket out of her bag and, without saying anything, approached him and handed it back to him.
Jaehyun looked at her with a raised eyebrow and blew out the smoke from his lungs.
"You're welcome," Jaehyun said as he took the jacket in his hands.
"Yes, thank you," she said, feeling her cheeks flush.
"Where did you park your car?" Jaehyun asked out of nowhere.
"I didn't bring it with me, my mom confiscated it," she blurted out without thinking, and when she turned to look at Jaehyun, she noticed a mocking smile on his face.
"Oh, mom took away your Porsche," he pouted mockingly and shook his head. "Come on, I'll take you home."
"I'm fine, Jaehyun. Thanks," she said as she looked at the rain.
"Come on, it wouldn't be the first time I've taken you. Plus, the school won't be closing anytime soon."
She thought about all the possibilities that crossed her mind, but something about her was excited to think about the ride home.
"Where's your car?"
Tumblr media
It was fortunate that his car was nearby.
Jaehyun turned on the heater as soon as they got into the car, and without further ado, the journey began.
It was just like the first time they had been together in the same car. Without saying anything, both with their eyes focused on the road, and it was then that they both realized that they didn't have a topic of conversation. The few times they had interacted had been about their interests and what they needed from each other at the moment. However, Jaehyun didn't know anything about (Y/N) that he hadn't heard at school, and (Y/N) didn't know anything about Jaehyun that she hadn't heard in the hallways or from her parents about the people from Neo Zone.
At this point, they weren't even acquaintances.
They had just coincided in something and that was it.
(Y/N) took the opportunity to send a text message to Jungwoo and tell him that he no longer needed to pick her up, without explaining more, she sent the text and subsequently, Jaehyun's phone rang.
The boy sighed and cautiously looked for a quick place to park even with the sound of the mobile phone ringing filling the car. He took the device and (Y/N) could notice the slight tension that seized Jaehyun's body as he read the caller ID, without thinking twice he answered the call.
The brunette felt weird being able to hear Jaehyun's conversation, so she tried to distract herself with something else. First with her phone, then looking out the window where she could see the rain beginning to dissipate, and then she could hear a "I'll be there in a moment" that made her react and turn to see him end the call.
The boy scratched his neck and then brought his hands to his face to rub it, let out a deep sigh, and looked at (Y/N).
“Uh, I need to do something quickly and your house is still a bit far... Do you mind if we stop by that place first? It's on the way” he asked with no other option.
“Does this has to do with your job?” She asked.
It took him a moment to respond: — No, it's not about my job. You can stay in the car, it's just that, I really need to get there.
After seeing Jaehyun's face and not being able to decipher what he was trying to say, (Y/N) nodded, not very sure, and that was enough for Jaehyun to quickly start the car.
Thousands of thoughts ran through (Y/N)'s mind. Eager to know where they were headed; she didn't know if she should believe Jaehyun that this wasn't about picking up or delivering goods or meeting someone who worked on the same thing he did.
She was only sure they wouldn't go to Neo Zone because they were far from there.
She could see how impatient Jaehyun seemed while driving, and that only made her even more nervous. What exactly did they tell him in that call to make him like this? She wanted to ask, but she knew she wouldn't get an answer.
She didn't know how many minutes had passed, she only knew that the rain stopped just before the car parked and she finally noticed where they were. A gray building was a few meters away from them, and it wasn't hard to recognize it.
It was the National Rehabilitation Center.
A long and large building, which was accompanied by an extensive garden, and from the outside, you could see that there were a huge number of rooms inside it.
Her head was flooded with even more questions knowing that this was the place where Jaehyun was needed.
“You can stay in the car if you want. I'll be back in a moment” Jaehyun said as he opened the car door and got out.
Curiosity got the better of her.
And that's why she got out of the car and followed Jaehyun. Without saying anything, they entered the building where they were immediately greeted by a nurse who seemed to know the boy well.
“Jaehyun, I'm glad you were able to answer the call” said the woman as she greeted them. “We need to talk to you”.
The boy nodded and turned to (Y/N), who just nodded and said, “I’ll wait for you.”
He smiled slightly and walked with the person until they reached the reception where she was able to pull out a few papers.
It had been, perhaps, about two weeks since the last time he had been there. A place he was very familiar with and where he regularly went; he had become good friends with the friendly nurses who apparently didn't care where he came from.
He was grateful that the nurse didn't say anything when his bruises and wounds were clearly visible.
“Has something happened?” he asked after a few seconds.
“ He's fine” the nurse said with a smile “but we need to talk to you about his stay here” she continued.
That's when the small smile on his face disappeared. Jaehyun knew what she was referring to. He swallowed hard before the nurse could speak.
“The payment is overdue, Jaehyun," the nurse confirmed what he already knew. "We care about Sicheng's health, but this is not my concern. You know that the center relies on patients' monthly payments, and the administrators in charge of them request them punctually," she commented as she handed Jaehyun one of the papers. "I understand your situation and Sicheng's, but there's nothing more I can do even if I wanted to; I've tried to delay the payment as much as I could, but unfortunately, it can't be delayed any longer. The administrators expect the payment soon, or we'll have to discharge Sicheng and send him home," she concluded.
It was difficult at first for Jaehyun to process everything the nurse had said, as more than ten things ran through his mind at once; one of them being his good friend Winwin, then, thinking about how he could quickly get the money he knew he owed to the clinic, considering the beating he had just received for not being able to complete a sale. So, what would he do? He still needed half the money for that monthly payment, and between the clinic's expenses and those of his own house for his family, he couldn't see a way to get the money on time.
He would have to ask for more stash to sell if he wanted to do it.
He couldn't let them discharge Sicheng.
Not while he hasn't made progress.
"I'm sorry," Jaehyun said. "I... I still have a little left to complete the payment. It's just that lately, it's been harder, and... how much time do I have to pay it?" the breathless boy asked.
"Considering that it's only the first few days of the month, and the payment is already two weeks late... I can't give you more than three days," lamented the nurse, making a grimace.
"I'll try the impossible to bring you that money on Saturday. Sicheng still can't be discharged; he hasn't progressed the way he was supposed to," he affirmed, a slight pout evident in his mouth.
What a contrast there was between his expression and the bruises, accompanied by the tattoos on his body.
Being in the Rehabilitation Center was the place where he could be most vulnerable.
"How is he?" he asked, lowering his gaze.
"Same as the last time you came to visit him," commented the nurse. "We're doing what we can, Jaehyun, but as long as he stays the way he is, we can't move forward. We need his will to help him."
When no words came out of his mouth, the nurse continued: "Jaehyun, you know you can go see him."
For Jaehyun, each visit was just as difficult as the day he decided to admit Sicheng to that clinic, and each one left him more tormented than the previous.
He would give everything if that means that Sicheng would go back to be himself.
He nodded after a few seconds and cautiously glanced back, where, not far away, (Y/N) was reading some brochures and observing the facilities around them; when she noticed the boy's gaze on her body, she walked toward him carefully.
The brunette didn't really know what came to his mind or what caused those words to come out of his mouth, but when he wanted to back off, it was too late, because they had already been expressed.
"Are you coming with me?"
And although (Y/N) had no idea why they were there or where they were going, she accepted anyway. So they found themselves walking down the long whitewashed hallway until they reached an elevator, and then they went up about three floors.
The atmosphere was cold, the hallways and rooms were well-lit, and they could see a few nurses and what she assumed were doctors walking around in their lab coats.
Jaehyun didn't know why he was allowing himself to show her that part of his life, especially when it was such a fragile part for him. He had tried to protect it cautiously for the past few months, and now he was there, accompanied by Hwang (Y/N), with the person he never thought he would meet at that moment.
He hadn't really thought of her when he asked if they could go there before going home; his head was only thinking about the clinic and Sicheng when the call had ended, and it was too late to change his mind when they had set off.
He just hoped the girl would be discreet enough.
They reached room 119, where Jaehyun pushed the door open and where in a wheelchair, they both could see Winwin, who was facing the large window of his room, looking outside.
(Y/N)'s surprised face did not go unnoticed; she was confused in a thousand ways. She knew who Dong Sicheng was; everyone in her school knew him, however... she thought he had simply left the city. She had no idea he was in that place. So in her head, thousands of questions arose about him, why he was there, and why he was in a wheelchair.
She could only react when she heard Jaehyun's voice: "Hey, buddy. How are you today?"
Nothing.
That's what he received.
Jaehyun walked over to him, and when he stood next to him, he crouched down enough to be able to observe him better. Winwin had his gaze fixed forward, his cheeks were a little rosy, his hair fell over his forehead, and his hands were resting on his legs.
Jaehyun sighed.
"Oh, I see you've taken a shower today," the boy mentioned with a smile, and again, there was not a single response.
When he noticed the presence of the girl, who had remained in her place throughout the visit and hesitated to approach them, he spoke: "Today I'm not alone; I brought company. Maybe you'll find it helpful to hear another voice that isn't mine or Lucas's... or the nurses'," the boy teased and gestured to the brunette to come closer, who obeyed. "Do you remember (Y/N)? She was in our class; we've coincided a couple of times, that's why she's here."
"Hello, Winwin," she greeted softly. Jaehyun made a grimace and stood up from his place to be at the girl's height.
"Don't expect an answer," Jaehyun commented. "There won't be one."
"I thought... I thought Winwin had moved to China," (Y/N) confessed.
Jaehyun snorted: "Yes, that's what everyone thinks."
Those words took her by surprise, and it was when she decided to remain silent, watching from a distance the little interaction between the boys: it was just Jaehyun saying a few words while adjusting Sicheng's hair without expecting any response.
Dong Sicheng and Jung Jaehyun had been friends since birth, being two little boys who grew up on the streets of Neo Zone, it was easy to click with each other. Winwin's parents had decided to move to the infamous area after his father had met Lee Sooman in some low neighborhood in Wenzhou, China, and he had offered him a job where he could have his family at least a little better off than in his country.
Winwin had not joined the gang since it had not been of great urgency to him; his father was the active member needed by the family, and if he were honest... the farthest he could be from the Neo Zone gang... the better. He was always Jaehyun's companion at all times. Best friends who shared every detail of their lives for years, Jaehyun took care of Sicheng, and he provided the most sincere friendship he had ever had... then, a while later, Lucas Wong and Mark Lee joined their adventures.
Four boys from Neo Zone with the desire to conquer the world, but unable to leave their sad reality behind.
Jaehyun still remembers that fateful day a year ago, and he still feels like it happened yesterday.
The guilt gnawed at him every passing day, terrorizing each of his nights as he wondered: Why?
Why did something like that have to happen to someone as good as Dong Sicheng was?
A year ago, when Jaehyun had chosen to go deliver a package of stash after Winwin had asked him to stay and keep him company, and he had denied that request... that decision still drilled into his head.
Winwin's family and he had been robbed in their own home. Knowing who had done it, the reasons for the event, and who had ordered such inhumanity, were still a mystery. When Winwin's parents along with him tried to flee the place by leaving in a car; it had not been the wisest decision they had made at the moment... because not long after, outside of Neo Zone, after the group of people who had robbed their home managed to shoot a clean shot in one of the tires of the rear part of the car, causing Winwin's father to lose control of his own vehicle and not a few meters later it would impact hard enough for the car to be shot in another direction, causing immediate damage.
Jaehyun only remembers receiving a call from Lucas and minutes later finding himself at the entrance to the Emergency Room of the General Hospital, where a stretcher with Winwin's body was being transported.
He remembers seeing the blood. He remembers hearing Lucas and Mark's screams asking to see their friend. He remembers standing still at the entrance to the Emergency Room.
But above all, he remembers thinking, what would have happened if instead of deciding to go sell that stupid package of stash, what if he had stayed at home with his mother and Sicheng?
A week in a coma and a diagnosis of paraplegia was what made Jaehyun lose his mind.
It had been a year since the accident, and Winwin had not even progressed a bit. After being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, it had been difficult to help the injury in the dorsal spine that he had suffered; the damage had been partial, Winwin could handle his movements and his sensitivity to walk again... if only he would come out of the state of shock he was still in.
There were too many things he experienced in so few minutes, so much physical and mental pain for what happened, that now, Sicheng couldn't react.
It had been a year since Sicheng hasn’t spoken.
The doctors assured that he could hear and understand everything, but he was simply mentally tired to process the words and make them come out of his mouth.
His body didn't react as it should either.
And until Winwin had the strength of his own will to do it, the only thing they could do at that clinic was to keep him on medication so that the pains would not persist.
But Jaehyun couldn't take it anymore.
What he would give for Sicheng to be able to enjoy life again.
Unfortunately, the visits he made to the hospital... didn't last more than half an hour since that was the place's regulation. So, his farewell was as quick as his arrival.
"See you on Saturday, Win," he put his hand on his shoulder. "Don't give the nurses too much trouble."
He could swear he heard Winwin laugh and say goodbye.
Even though that really didn't happen.
(Y/N), who throughout the visit remained silent observing both boys, could feel her heart in her hand. She had never believed she would see that vulnerability on Jaehyun's part, and knowing what it was about because of the importance his best friend had in his life, made her heart ache with sadness even more.
"Now I'll take you home," murmured Jaehyun when he passed by her without saying anything else.
The girl glanced back, looking for the last time at Sicheng's silhouette, who hadn't moved from the same place since they had both arrived in the room. She took a deep breath and left the room when Jaehyun was already far enough away.
She didn't know what to say. There were no words of comfort for the situation, and she knew it, that's why they both silently said goodbye to the nurse who had received them and continued like that until they entered the car, which was not parked far away.
Jaehyun allowed himself to lean back on the driver's seat as he closed his eyes and sighed heavily.
"I guess you have many questions," Jaehyun said without opening his eyes.
She had.
"I don't know if I really should ask them," (Y/N) confessed as she looked at him.
The boy remained silent for a few seconds.
"Sicheng and his parents had an accident a year ago," Jaehyun said, opening his eyes to look at her. "An accident that was caused."
"By whom?"
"No one knows," he replied, taking his hands to the steering wheel of the car and squeezing it tightly. "His parents died instantly... Winwin arrived at the hospital in critical condition; it was a miracle that he came out alive."
"Why...?"
"Why is he in this clinic?" he interrupted, and she nodded with a knot in her stomach. "The accident had a great impact and damaged on his dorsal spine; the doctors diagnosed partial paraplegia; his sensitivity in his legs was minimal, and he couldn't make any extensive movements with his legs that didn't make him cry from the pain. After seven days, he woke up from the coma and realized everything that had happened, including my uncle's death... he hasn't said a single word since then... the doctors said it would take time for him to recover, and that eventually, he would speak, but Winwin doesn't have the will to do it; he's still in a kind of state of shock, and that has delayed his recovery," he explained, unable to see her in the eyes.
"Who... who pays for all this if Sicheng's parents aren't here?" she asked curiously.
Jaehyun sighed; "For the first few months, my boss covered part of the monthly fee, until suddenly he stopped doing it. Since then, I've been taking care of it."
The girl's expression was one of surprise.
"How do you do it?"
"That’s the reason I'm in the business that I'm in," he replied, changing his gaze to her, being able to see directly into her eyes and causing her to feel a shiver run through her body.
There was something about those bruised eyes that had done something to her.
"It must be hard," the girl said in a murmur.
Jaehyun snorted and nodded slowly. He hated being seen in his less tough character. The only person he allowed himself to be like that with was Lucas... or Winwin. And for a stranger to see him like that... made his blood boil.
"You know? Winwin loved dancing," Jaehyun said, smiling sideways as the memory came to his mind.
That fact wasn't strange for (Y/N), she remembers seeing Winwin at the school theater... the only boy from Neo Zone who was part of the dance team. She didn't even know how he had managed that, but he must have been good if the Kwangya students allowed him to be in the group.
"Now nobody knows if he'll be able to do it again," Jaehyun continued. "Winwin was the only one of all of us who really had a future, he wasn't even a gang member... he hadn't even gone through his initiation, and look how he ended up."
(Y/N) swallowed.
"Mark Lee is no longer friends with you, right?" The girl asked curiously.
"Things got complicated with him after the accident."
The brunette fell silent for a moment and then shifted her body to face him.
“Haven't you thought about looking for another alternative?” she questioned again “You know? If you let me help you, maybe I could get you a position at my father's company and...”
“Shh. I think I've told you it's not that easy.”
“ But it could be” she insisted.
Jaehyun scoffed and shook his head as he looked away from her.
“I not only have to cover this quota, I also have to bring money home, for my mom and for Jeno. It's the easiest way to get what I need” he confessed “besides, I told you once... in Neo Zone there's no way out, once you're in, you're in forever.”
The tattoos on his neck were what sentenced him to a miserable life forever.
But as long as that miserable life helped to ease the pain and managed to make Sicheng return to who he was, it would be worth it.
“It doesn't have to be like this” she murmured, focusing on her own hands.
"You don't know what it's like to be part of this," he countered in a low voice.
How had they opened up to have such a conversation so suddenly?
The girl felt her lip tremble as she remembered the scene she had witnessed minutes earlier in that room, and she couldn't help but think about how it would feel to lose a loved one in such a way... knowing that physically they were present, but mentally they weren't there.
(Y/N) had always had a heart easy to move, but she really never believed that Jung Jaehyun would be able to achieve that.
"Is that why you insist on continuing school?" she asked, looking at him again.
"Students are my best clients," he replied with a half smile.
(Y/N) didn't know how to take that.
She closed her eyes for a moment and then said, "I can help you with a few more assignments," she assured. "But only for a while and in my own way. But, I don't want you to involve me in any of the problems you're in, it will only be school matters. I don't want to be associated with anything you do, if anything you do is enough to help Sicheng, I'll try not to question it."
Jaehyun couldn't believe what he had just heard.
"If that helps you help me and me stay in school..." he paused "...I might be willing."
"What's the reason for your change of heart?"
"Because if I were in the same situation as you, I would also want someone to somehow help me," she replied, hugging herself.
The boy nodded with a half-smile, and without further ado, he started the car.
"Only school matters," Jaehyun confirmed.
She definitely didn't know what he had just gotten himself into.

The day after the visit to the National Rehabilitation Center, something happened that made (Y/N) unable to concentrate enough during class hours. Her mind kept going back to the place over and over again, but how horrible was the situation the boy was in. One day you're capable, and the next... not even being able to move. How could anyone endure that?
At some point in the morning, during the physics period, her mind was spinning, her leg moving anxiously, and she bit her lips. She tried to erase the conversation she and Jaehyun had had the day before a thousand times and tried to erase the image of Winwin in that room.
But it was impossible.
Just when she thought she had succeeded, the image returned immediately.
She hated being someone who cared too much about things.
Because she knew something wasn't right with her when she found herself in front of the doors of the Rehabilitation Center.
Her coat shielded her from the cold breeze on that day, and as she clutched her bag to her, she didn't think anymore and entered the place.
She felt a little out of place when she entered the center, but after a few minutes, a presence came in front of her.
"Hello, good morning," the nurse greeted her. "Oh, you're the girl who accompanied Jaehyun yesterday, right?" She asked in confusion.
The girl smiled and nodded. "Yes, I'm Hwang (Y/N). I'm Jaehyun's classmate... and Winwin's."
"How nice of you to visit us... are you here to see Winwin? It's rare to see someone come for him other than Lucas or Jaehyun," confessed the nurse.
"Um, yes... I could say I'm here for a visit," the girl smiled. "But, to be honest... yesterday I overheard a bit of his conversation with Jaehyun... I know Winwin's payment is delayed this month."
"Yes, usually Jaehyun finds a way to pay on time," she sighed. "But this month it's been delayed for a few weeks, and if I'm honest, I've been doing everything I can to keep Winwin from being discharged."
The girl nodded and asked, "Do you think Winwin's treatment will still take time?"
"I can't answer that accurately," admitted the nurse. "It's all a matter of Winwin's will, but to be honest, right now he has no will at all, so far as we're concerned, and if the payment continues to be monthly... he could spend another half a year here."
The girl understood the situation, and although she would like to think more about it... she didn't, so she didn't even know when she blurted out those words: "Is there any way I can pay for the next six months?"
The nurse's eyes widened with surprise, and she looked at the girl with enthusiasm. "Are you serious?"
"Yes," she replied. "I would like to help one of my classmates as long as I can. Money is not a problem," she confessed.
"Wow... thank you, i really appreciate that. Winwin is a boy with a lot of potential from what we know, and although we're sad that we haven't made the progress we want, we know that someday he will leave through that door better," (Y/N) smiled nostalgically.
"I just need to ask you something," the brunette confessed. "Could you not tell Jaehyun that I've paid?" she questioned.
"I don't know if it's easy to lie to someone like Jaehyun," the nurse laughed. "But since it's something good you've done... I'll try," the nurse walked to the desk with (Y/N) behind her. "(Y/N)?" She called and paid attention. "I know there may be many things about Jaehyun... but he's a good guy... beneath all that facade; he really has something good."
Those words hammered in her head. "Thank you."

(Y/N) reviewed the same line of text she had read five times now on some molasses topic. Trying to understand the topic deeply.
The air coming lightly through one of the library windows was enough for her to try to hug herself to take warmth, read a bit from the physics books on the table, and impatiently move her leg.
She didn't know at what exact moment a tall figure stood in front of her, but what she did know was that that person didn't seem very happy.
"Why did you do it?" Jaehyun let out while looking directly at her.
"I don't know what you're talking about," (Y/N) replied while looking at her book attentively.
"I know you know. I thought I told you I don't need your money," Jaehyun repeated with annoyance.
"I still don't know what you're talking about," the girl stopped seeing her book and changed her gaze to the boy.
"Don't play with me," the boy exclaimed exasperatedly. "Why did I went to the center today and they told me Winwin's treatment has been paid for the next six months?"
The girl shrugged. "It could have been your boss."
"My boss doesn't give a shit about Winwin!" Exclaimed the boy. "I told you I didn't need your money, I was clear, I don't want to owe anything to anyone from Kwangya."
"You don't need to pay me back," the girl assured, standing up in front of Jaehyun. "With the money you'll save from that, you'll be able to sell less."
"It seems you don't understand a fucking thing!" Jaehyun raised your arms with annoyance. "Paying or not paying for Sicheng's treatment, it doesn't change the fact that I sell drugs!" The boy explained regardless of where they were; they were lucky the library wasn't being occupied by other people.
"Everyone starts somewhere!" the girl attacked. "I just wanted to take a weight off your shoulders."
Jaehyun scoffed and looked at her with a sarcastic smile.
"Why? I don't need your pity! If you hadn't accompanied me yesterday, you'd still be thinking Winwin had moved to China! You didn't give a fucking damn even when he was your classmate!"
(Y/N) started gathering her things and putting them in her backpack.
"Saying thank you would have been enough, Jaehyun!" the girl remarked. "I know you can do better with your life," she murmured as she turned to look at him.
Jaehyun's blood was boiling; he hated when people interfered in his life, as if he didn't already have enough to deal with.
"You don't know anything about me! You said it yourself; we're not even friends," he retorted.
"And what if I want to get to know you better?" the girl exclaimed without thinking. They both fell silent, staring into each other's eyes. (Y/N) didn't even want to say those words, but she did.
She couldn't deny that Jung Jaehyun was intriguing. She didn't know why. She didn't know why she had been avoiding him for weeks, but since that night at Neo Zone, when they had talked about the deal, she knew it would be difficult to shake him off, and when she had... something inside her wanted them to meet again. Why are things so difficult? They are two different people from different backgrounds; why would she suddenly be interested in him? Was it because she saw him vulnerable the day before? Or was it because she believed there was something good in him, just like the nurse had said?
She must be crazy to think like that.
"You really don't want to do it," Jaehyun said with a bit more calmness.
"I know you can get out out of that hole, Jaehyun."
"Winwin's parents tried, and look how that ended up!" he exclaimed. "There's no way out in Neo Zone, get that through your head," he explained. "There's nothing good about me. I don't even know why you think so, just because yesterday you saw something different or because I drove you home a couple of times, doesn't mean you know everything about me!"
"Stop acting like a fucking jerk."
"Like a jerk? This is reality! Your act of charity isn't going to change my life. I was born a dealer, and that's how my life will end!"
"I really believe there's something good in you."
"Well, keep believing it."
"If you ever feel grateful, you know where to find me," the girl said, gathering her things and walking out of the library.
Jaehyun cursed under his breath and shook his hands in frustration. In just a few days, the girl had managed to push his buttons faster than anyone else from Neo Zone.
But when he saw her walk out the door, why did he feel regret for lashing out at her?
Tumblr media
The week had been slow this time. (Y/N) and Jaehyun had been avoiding each other like the plague, not even looking at each other when they crossed paths in the hallway. For the girl, it seemed like childish behavior, especially coming from Jaehyun and his usual façade; now he seemed nothing more than someone throwing a tantrum after she only wanted to help him.
But she still thought she really wanted to get to know him better.
What was behind his façade? What was it that made him who he was? Not the boy from Neo Zone, not the dealer everyone knew... who was Jeong Jaehyun really?
That question had been on her mind for weeks, and it disappointed her a bit to know that she might never know the answers to those doubts she had about the boy.
Today was warm compared to the weather last week. The sun was shining brightly, and luckily for (Y/N), her mother had decided to return her car. So her day had started off on the right foot, and hoping for a good day, she took the opportunity to stop by her favorite coffee shop in Kwangya. Ordering her usual vanilla latte and just before it was time to pay, a thought invaded her mind, and after debating it internally, she decided to follow her thoughts.
An hour and a half later, when she was the last one to leave her physics class, someone blocked her path at the classroom door. Holding her book to her chest, after the unexpected startle, she looked ahead to find no one but Jaehyun. Who stood silently in front of her, with the same leather jacket he used to wear, the same combination of marijuana and vanilla scent, and with the same enchanting eyes, that she had just noticed.
She was in dangerous territory.
And she knew it.
"I need to go to my next class, Jaehyun," the girl said shortly.
For a few seconds, the boy in front of her didn't say anything, he just watched her, until he sighed and slowly said, "Thank you."
Short and to the point, he didn't say anything else, and that was enough to make (Y/N)'s heart flutter in a thousand ways.
"For the coffee," the boy finished. "And for the notes."
"I did my part, I told you I would help you," said (Y/N) as she fiddled with her fingers.
"I thought you wouldn't after the last time we met," Jaehyun confessed.
"I'm sticking to that."
A small silence ensued. Two people face to face. With thousands of doubts between them and things to resolve. What had drawn them together? How was it that the universe managed to put two completely different people in the same place?
"Did you mean it?" Jaehyun asked, and when he noticed that (Y/N) didn't understand what he meant, he continued. "About wanting to get to know me more."
(Y/N) swallowed hard and looking him in the eyes, nodded.
"I still believe there's something good in you."
"Why?"
"I don't know yet," she replied honestly. "And it's killing me. A while ago, I wouldn't have wanted anything to do with you, not even to cross paths, but now, I don't know what's changed, but every time I try to stay away, it's like something brings me back here," she confessed, leaving Jaehyun speechless, who just watched her, trying to decipher everything she was saying.
It was killing him too.
"Let's go to my car," he said.
"Huh?" she asked, confused.
"You want to know more about me, then get in my car," he said again, this time making his way to the parking lot, with (Y/N) behind him, who didn't say a single word, just followed his lead.
What was he doing?
When they reached the car, Jaehyun opened the passenger door, causing (Y/N) to get in without protesting. Then Jaehyun got into the driver's seat and without further ado, started the engine. She didn't know what was happening or what would happen next, but right now she could only trust Jaehyun.
Even though she didn't know how bad an idea that might be.
A few minutes later, as they had traveled a long distance, (Y/N) noticed they were approaching Neo Zone, and with her eyes wide open, she panicked.
"This is me," Jaehyun said out of nowhere, catching the girl's attention. "See all these streets? This is where I belong. This is what I am," he explained carefully.
(Y/N) looked out the window, a couple of people smoking on the sidewalk, others passing joints, and other silent streets. The houses weren't that big... rather, they looked cramped. Unlike what she was used to, to her lifestyle, this didn't seem like it would be enough for a family.
But what did she know with the privilege she had?
"I grew up here, this is what I know," he commented. "Most people are born and die here, it's something that seems to be already written," he continued as his car slowed down. "Those of us from here have a different perspective on life... people from Kwangya lives for the money... we live to survive, and although it's getting harder and harder, we manage to do it," the car finally stopped, and still looking out the window, (Y/N) saw a small house in front of them. One story, not much to describe or point out, it was small but for some reason, it looked cozy.
(Y/N) changed her gaze to Jaehyun, who was still looking ahead and spoke.
"Is this your house?"
Jaehyun nodded.
(Y/N) smiled softly.
"Would you invite me in?"
Tumblr media
He doesn't know how (Y/N) managed to have an effect on him, but now they were there, inside his little house, (Y/N) carefully examining the walls around them and analyzing every aspect of the small space.
He was grateful there were no one at home.
"It looks cozy," (Y/N) said as she looked at one of the frames hanging on the wall.
"I guess it's not even a third of your house," Jaehyun assured to (Y/N).
“And no matter how many people are there, it always feels lonely," she confessed. "It's like no one leaves anything there, like it's something unimportant. As if it's not a home," she finished.
Jaehyun looked at her gently, and as she looked around, thousands of things went through his mind.
"To be honest with you," the girl spoke. "I see more vibes from Jeno in this house than yours," she said. "Many things here seem related to Jeno... but I don't see many things related to you..." she continued. "It's like you don't even think about staying here for long."
"I don't plan on leaving Neo Zone," Jaehyun asserted, crossing his arms.
"Don't you want a different future?"
"There's no future for me," Jaehyun pointed out. "And if there were, I'd prefer to give it to Jeno. He has much more to live for than I do."
"You also have a life to live. A future to write, you can change what is today, for something better," (Y/N) turned around to face the boy.
"I have no way out," the boy replied. "Do you think this is easy? After seeing my dad die and doing everything my bosses ask me to do no matter what. Taking care of my mom, Jeno, and now Winwin? Huh? Making sure Winwin becomes who he was again and that my brother doesn't end up being a fucking addict are enough reasons for me not to leave here," Jaehyun concluded, getting dangerously close to her, with a few centimeters separating them.
The words echoed in her head strongly.
"I'm sorry," she whispered.
"Don't pity me," Jaehyun said under his breath.
"It's not that. It's just that every time I think about all this and now that I see your place and I don't see anything that seems to belong to you, it makes me think that's what you're looking for, to belong to something and leave here as soon as there's an opportunity,"
Jaehyun looked directly at her, not knowing what to say. And afraid to think that maybe she was right.
Because yes, maybe he wanted to get out of there, along with his mom, Jeno, and Winwin; maybe he wanted to do something with his life that wasn't illegal, but what was the point of thinking about it when he knew he wouldn't make it? He was afraid to admit that he wanted to be able to change things, to be able to make his family okay, that no shadow from the past would follow them, that they would have a place where they could forge a clean and safe future.
"This has never been about what I want," Jaehyun commented with a future. "Since I was born, everything around me was the gang. After my father's death, I knew what was coming, and I knew I would never be able to get out of it. It doesn’t matter what I want. It matter what my boss wants, he has that kind of power, no one below him has their own decision. The whole life of Neo Zone is ruled by him," he concluded, even closer to her.
(Y/N) looked him in the eyes, her breath uncontrolled. Her chest heaved, and her hands were sweating.
"What do you want, Jaehyun?" she whispered.
The boy paused for a moment and looked at her lips.
"Now?" he asked, and she nodded. "Would it be unrealistic to say that I want to kiss you?"
"How realistic would it be to say that I want you to do it?
She didn't even finish the question because Jaehyun's lips collided firmly with hers. The boy's long hands slid through (Y/N)'s soft hair, her hair smelling of lavender shampoo. He gently covered her cheek with one of his rough hands, and she melted into the touch.
It wasn't a hurried kiss, as (Y/N) thought it would be; actually, Jaehyun was taking the time to savor every passing second. As if this moment would disappear at any minute and he wanted to hold onto it.
Was he looking for something to belong to?
His hand moved from her cheek to her waist, and she took the opportunity to press her body against his and release a moan of pleasure. As if she felt complete leaning against Jaehyun's warmth.
As if it was something they both longed for for a long time.
And even though she wanted to continue with the act, they were severely interrupted when a car horn sounded incessantly outside the house, causing them to separate with tremendous confusion. (Y/N)'s red cheeks were enough to make Jaehyun's heart race, but when he heard another horn, he took her hand and they walked outside in hurry.
And then, there was Jeno, being thrown out of the back of a car, blood streaming from a cut on his eyebrow, bruises scattered all over his body, and falling firmly to the ground after being thrown.
"I want this to be the last time your brother sets foot in our zone. Next time it won't be him we throw," the familiar voice of a boy from the opposing gang spoke up. Chris. Who was with the window down and smiling maliciously. "Neither will it be you, Jung. It will be the girl who will end up like this,"
Jaehyun moved abruptly from his place to try to reach the car, but it left as fast as it could, (Y/N) shocked to hear those words, didn't do anything more than approach Jeno to help him up. Then Jaehyun cursed under his breath and looked into the distance at the girl and her brother together.
And his chest tightened as he realized that now, she too had been involved.
And he believed there was no turning back, because she was right... Jaehyun wanted to belong to something.
But how selfish would it be to belong to (Y/N)?
a/n: well now you know what happened to Winwin TT. Once again I’m sorry if this took too long I promise I’ll try to update sooner this time!

Over Again (Nikki Sixx & Fem Character)
Description: You and Nikki met thanks to Tommy and he decides that it's time to settle down with you but your relationship soon becomes 3, you, him and drugs so an unfortunate event makes him open his eyes and take life seriously.
Warning: Mention of abort, substance abuse, violence and other sensitive topics.
----------------------------------------------------------------
It was around 1986 when Tommy my old friend from school found me at a party by chance, we had years without knowing about each other, at that time he had recently married Heather and the idea of settling down with Tommy was so present that he didn't think of anyone else but Nikki, he had to have a woman by his side, i were the responsible, kind and always in a good mood girl that he had met in class but now turned into a woman.
The day Nikki and i were introduced, he didn't seem to care about my presence, his mind was lost in cocaine and with the lights of the place he could barely notice my blushing cheeks when i said hi, for me it wasn't strange at all, i imagined the environment in which he and Tommy moved with the other guys in the band so i just focused on being the social butterfly i always were and soon i found myself talking to another guy near the pool.
For Nikki this wasn't right, how could someone let Nikki Sixx pass by and focus on a skinny blonde guy who was only in charge of moving the cables behind the stage? But his state made it impossible for him to get close, his mind was fused with heroin and no matter how much jealousy he felt in his heart, his mind only asked for more drugs and that's what he did.
By the end of the night i thanked Tommy for the invitation and although the drummer was disappointed that his friend didn't pay attention to a me, he knew something had happened inside Sixx, he knew that look, not for nothing was it his terror twin.
It was during a rehearsal that while Nikki was drinking her Jack Daniels he approached the drums asking Tommy who was that girl he had introduced him to at the party, he knew it, Nikki had fallen, Tommy was never wrong.
After that Tommy invited me again to one of the many parties that Motley Crue gave and this time Nikki was able to fight a little against his addiction and took some time to approach and start talking, it was a matter of seconds when both felt as if we had been friends forever, both laughed and told anecdotes that we had in common, finally Nikki was able to spend a night alone with beer and cigarettes, away from needles and mirrors with white powder.
Soon, sooner than Tommy had imagined, Nikki and i had formalized our relationship, it was common now to see me between the dressing rooms, talking to Heather or encouraging my boyfriend, the groupies did not receive me good at all, they knew that Nikki was finally tied and no matter how hard they tried he only had eyes for his girl.
Finally in 1987, by all rights, i became Mrs. Sixx. my friends couldn't believe that i had walked down the aisle with one of the sexiest rock stars in history. My parents, for their part, seemed happy but deep down they were afraid that something would happen. For them, Motley Crue's music was nothing more than a loud sound and the boys were extravagant and wild. They couldn't understand how their sweet girl had walked down the aisle in her beautiful white dress with a disheveled boy who wore makeup on stage.
The first few months of marriage were good, not perfect, but at home everything was fine, although from time to time Nikki always reminded me that i shouldn't go into his closet, it was his personal place and i understood it, maybe it was a space where he could relax just as he had dedicated a whole room for my hobbies where i could paint, knit and do other of my favorite things, but it didn't take me long to realize that something was wrong, Nikki often didn't come to sleep in bed even though he was home, when i tried to get close to him to be intimate, he seemed upset and irritating so i just turned around and went back to the room leaving him alone.
When i were lucky and managed to convince him of something, he was the best lover in the world, he left me exhausted and with my legs numb and soon i managed i get pregnant, it was an illusion that i had in mind since i ou began my adult life, to have a marriage with a kind man and create a family like the one my parents had created.
That night i ran downstairs with the pregnancy test in my hand finding Nikki in the kitchen drinking from a small glass what looked like whiskey.
''Nikki'' i yelled as soon as i managed to finish going down the stairs as i ran to the kitchen holding the test in front of me, he seemed lost in his thoughts and barely looked at me with his eyes half closed.
''What's wrong babe?'' He took a sip of his drink almost falling off the chair when i hugged him tightly by the neck, his hand resting on my back as a smile spread across his face, it didn't matter if he was high or not, we always found our safe place in our arms.
''Look'' i smiled excitedly, almost jumping holding the test with both hands in front of his face making him blink a few times trying to focus on the small device that i moved uncontrollably with my trembling hands ''can you see it baby? Do you see it?''
''Wait…honey stop jumping I can't…I can't see what it is'' he laughed leaving the glass on the kitchen island, taking my hand in his focusing his eyes on the two thin lines ''Th…what is this?''
''Honey I'm pregnant, we're going to be parents'' His eyes opened wide between the strands of his dark hair, he felt his heart beating too hard, harder than normal, even harder than when he injects the dose of heroin into his left arm, he couldn't understand how he had created life, was he ready for this? What if he was a failure like his father was, he couldn't allow something like that to happen ''Honey? are you okay?''
''Yeah, it's just that..'' he kept looking at the floor, he seemed to be thinking too many things at the same time and none of them were good ''It's just that… wow… we're going to be parents''
''Yeah… you don't like the idea?'' my hands slowly lowered while he looked at me quickly shaking his head realizing that his reaction had make me feel insecure
''No, it's not that honey it's just that… I didn't expect this to happen so fast, it's like it was a dream you know..'' his hand slowly arranged a lock of hair behind my ear with his other hand hugging me slowly while i wrapped my arms around his neck ''I love you baby, you know that right?''
''Yeah I know'' i murmured into his neck, closing my eyes breathing in the scent of his hair and his perfume ''what do you think it is? "A boy or a girl?" my excitement make me explode again, letting go of the hug while my hands rested on his biceps, but after a gesture of pain and seeing how he quickly moved away from me, i looked at him scared. "Honey, are you okay? Did I hurt you?"
"It's not… it's just that my arm hurts a little." His voice sounded nervous as she adjusted the long sleeves of her shirt. "Maybe it's because of the bass, don't worry, babe."
After that, there were few days where happiness roamed around the house, since i had married Nikki i had convinced him that i didn't need help to clean the house, i could do it, after all i were there almost all day and when he was on tour i were practically alone with nothing to do.
It was one of those days when i were cleaning the nightstands, throwing away old tickets and dusting the night lamps when i thought about cleaning the closet that Nikki took such good care of, after all it wouldn't hurt to dust it, so without thinking twice i approached the wooden doors and opened them without hesitation looking around, i could notice his stage outfits, the striped one, his leather pants, his boots.
I walked slowly, contemplating everything until i heard something crunch under my shoe. My eyes quickly looked at the floor, noticing that i had stepped on a needle, clearly used and dirty with blood. My eyes then adjusted to reality. On the floor there were dozens of used needles, strips of plastic, and a revolver on the carpet. I weren't stupid. I knew what i was seeing and what Nikki was doing in his "space."
The smell of weed and the blood stains made my stomach turn and i quickly ran to the bathroom, vomiting the lunch while holding my 2-month pregnant belly. After that, i felt totally exhausted. I didn't stop crying all day and i could barely take off your shoes to lie down on the bed.
It was almost 10 pm when Nikki came back from the studio and it seemed strange to him to call my name and not hear my voice anywhere, he looked towards the stairs expecting to see me running down to jump into his arms but nothing, it seemed like the house was empty, he went up to the room taking off his jacket when he noticed me lying down feeling a breath in his throat but soon he felt his breath cut off again when he looked at the open doors of his closet, he knew that his secret was no longer a secret.
''What is my closet doing open?'' He stopped in front of the bed looking at me with my red cheeks and my wet and irritated eyes without caring about how i was ''I'm talking to you… why is it''
''Since when do you do this?'' i could barely mention with my irritated throat feeling a lump forming again in my chest
''What does that matter, I asked you not to come in, I have never broken any promise, I have done everything you want and ask, I only asked you not to go in there'' his voice was getting louder with each word he said, his hands tangled in his hair and then ran down his face in frustration
''I don't give a damn if you broke anything or not of what you promised me Nikki, why are you doing it? why?'' i could barely sit up in bed sitting on the edge while i watched him as he walked back and forth
''That's not your problem…''
''It's my fucking problem since I agreed to marry you Nikki, I don't care what fucking promises you've broken or not, I'd rather find you with a whore in bed than this, at least I'd have the security that she wouldn't try to kill you, but this? Nikki you're ending your life'' my eyes could barely stay open, the tears came out one after another without me realizing it and my voice broke making my throat hurt even more
''You think I haven't tried? I can't stop I'm a fucking addict that's what you want to know? You married a drug addict'' His screams make me jump a little, i had never heard Nikki in that tone of voice
''I wouldn't have cared if you were a drug addict when I met you or after, if you had told me we would have sought help, why didn't you trust me Nikki?…why?''
''It's okay, love calm down'' He took a deep breath approaching me, kneeling between my legs taking myface carefully feeling his hands wet from the tears ''Honey, look at me, calm down think about our baby okay?…I'll seek help, I promise I just don't know how''
''Please stop, what am I going to do if you hurt yourself, what do I do if you die?..I can't do it alone Nikki'' This time i knew that the hormones weren't to blame for my reaction, i were really afraid of losing him, afraid of being alone, of not being part of all the plans we had made together
''I promise love, please excuse me'' his arms surrounded my waist while his face hid between my crotch and my small bulging belly '' I will do this for us, for our baby please trust me''
No, he didn't, just two months later i came home from shopping, it took me just 5 minutes to leave the bags in the kitchen and go up to the bedroom to change the shoes that made my feet swell when i found the room in a mess, the bed was unmade, the bedside lamps broken and there were clothes everywhere, i could walk slowly between the objects when i noticed the closet doors open.
I could barely run without tripping when suddenly i opened them completely and found him on the floor pulling a rubber band with his mouth that tied his left arm while with his other hand he injected a substance directly into his vein
"Nikki…no…no" i ran as fast as i could and barely managed to hold him in my arms when his dilated eyes seemed to have lost the light and he vanished into my legs.
Finally my worst fear came true, Nikki was dead.
My heart was skipping a beat, i felt my stomach turning and my head spinning, my hands held his face, no longer reacting and without hurting him i got up taking the cordless phone to go back to his side while i called 911 and held it calling his name
''Nikki please…please baby wake up'' my voice began to sound desperate while my eyes filled with tears ''Nikki please…Nik..hello?''
''911 what is your emergency?'' the lady on the other end of the line sounded tired, used to receiving calls all the time while my world was falling apart
''My husband is not responding, please send an ambulance please…Nikki wake up'' my hand slowly slap his cheek and then wiped the tears from my face and returned it to press his chest a couple of times
''Your husband is not responding? Is he hurt? What happened?'' There were too many questions for my limited ability to think at that moment
''I don't know, I went shopping and when I came back he was injecting himself with something in his arm and he passed out, please send help please I don't want him to die'' i could barely draw breath, i felt everything inside me collapsing and crumbling little by little
''I understand, please stay by his side, an ambulance is heading to the address on this phone, please stay with him''
Of course I would stay with him, I stayed while they put him in the ambulance and took him to the hospital, I stayed when they gave him CPR and two syringes went through his heart making him wake up, my heart stopped at that moment, there he was, looking at me disoriented without knowing what had happened, as if for him it had been just a bad dream, but for me it was hell on earth, I saw him die and I saw him come back to life.
I stayed with him in the hospital for two days, holding his hand as he slept, signing papers, barely eating, listening to the nurses speak pitifully about me. “Poor thing, she’s pregnant, she must be feeling awful,” they said over and over again every time a new nurse came into the room. Most of them did nothing, they just wanted to see if it was true that Nikki Sixx himself was there.
As soon as we got home, we slept for a whole day. He was exhausted and I was feeling much worse. I felt like my world had been taken away from me like a cruel joke and it had been returned to me after seeing me destroyed. I was afraid of waking up and not having him near me.
I couldn’t just stay in bed. As soon as he lay down next to me, my body joined his like magnets. My arm surrounded his body tightly, afraid that someone was going to take him away from me once again. My head rested on his right arm while his hand combed my hair until we both fell asleep.
But no, life was not easy. A couple of days later, while I was taking a bath, I felt a pain in my stomach, like cramps even worse than I had ever felt in my entire life. Then a hot liquid ran down my legs. I could see the white floor of the shower turning red. The blood did not stop, it ran and ran down the drain.
''Babe…Nikki'' I could barely hold on to the wall, turning off the water and grabbing a towel that I barely wrapped around my body, it turned red
''Love?..what happened?'' His face still looked tired, with dark circles under his eyes
''Help me…our baby'' I looked at him again feeling that sensation inside me, everything would be wrong again
It was in seconds when with his little strength he picked me up and took me to the car without caring about the towel or that he was without shoes, he just ran to the car and drove as fast as he could returning to the same hospital that we had just left.
Doctors, nurses all ran while placing an oxygen mask on my face, no one explained anything, I only heard Nikki's voice while holding my hand.
''Ok, honey you're bleeding and we need to stop it'' the older doctor looked at me placing a mask on his face while a nurse helped him fastening a white apron over his blue robe ''I'm sorry to tell you that we can't proceed with your baby and it's very likely that he no longer has vital signs, we need to save your life first ok?''
I didn't know how to feel at that moment, it was as if God had punished me, he gave me back Nikki but took my baby, why? Why was he doing this to me?…
''But…no'' my eyes searched through the bright lights of the room for Nikki's face, I could feel his hand and hear his voice but the big white spotlight wouldn't let me see him ''My baby…Nikki tell them no…no''
''Honey it's for your own good, our baby is in heaven now I only care about you ok? They must stop your bleeding and everything will be fine, you will be with me and I will be with you and more babies will come, calm down please baby''
I never imagined that I would give birth to my stillborn baby, it was like being in shock and forgetting everything that had happened and suddenly I found myself in a white room, similar to where Nikki had been, Tommy and Heather were with me and Nikki but they were not much help, when i could barely calm down Tommy would come crying making me feel bad again so Heather would take him to the hallway to calm him down.
When we returned home we both felt exhausted, no one had told us that we would live through all this in such a short time, why us?
I spent the days lying down, my mother visited us helping us make food and keeping us company, it was very helpful to listen to her while I lay on her legs as she combed my hair like when I was a child while she told me how she also lost a baby and after that painful loss my brother came into the world.
I also remember how she took advantage of the time I was sleeping to talk to Nikki who never left my side, she scolded him for being so irresponsible but at the same time she advised him. It was very comforting to see Nikki come down to the kitchen one day and hug my mother while kissing her cheek. “Thanks for breakfast, Mom.”
I knew what his childhood had cost him and seeing him smiling and spending time with my mother made me feel happy, as if his wounds were beginning to heal.
I had started painting again a month after our little angel left for heaven. I liked to sit in front of the window and draw flowers or the sky, It made me feel calm.
“Hello...” a light knock on the door made me turn to look at Nikki standing with her hands in her pockets. “Can I come in, baby?”
“Sure, you don’t have to ask,” I smiled, returning my gaze to the window, trying to imitate the color of the sunset.
“What are you doing, sugar?” I felt his arms go around my neck as he rested his chin on my shoulder '' is it the sky?''
''Yeah, but I can't find the color between the blue and orange of the sunset… it's so difficult and beautiful''
''I know… do you mind if I interrupt you a little?'' he looked at me like a little kid as he sat next to me on the floor
''Sure love, what happened?'' I looked at him a little returning my attention to the color palette in my hand
''Well… I want to be honest with you, from now on I won't keep any secrets from you okay?..''
''Ok?.. you're scaring me'' I looked at him lowering my color palette looking at him curiously
''Well… love I… I couldn't contain myself and… after well… you know our loss happened… I injected myself again… I felt really bad and I didn't think about it I just did it..'' his voice lowered little by little until it was silent as his hands played
''But Nikki…''
''Wait… I know I promised you and I'm sorry love I really am sorry it's just that… I know that losing our baby was my fault, I made you go through too much stress and I caused… all that to happen''
''No Nikki look at me, it's not your fault love'' my hands took his face slowly arranging his hair out of his face ''these are things that had to happen to grow and take this life more seriously don't blame yourself''
''It's just that… I don't want to make you go through so much anymore, I don't want to be a useless drug addict, you don't deserve it..'' his eyes showed so much regret, it was impossible for his words not to hurt ''I… I talked to the boys'' he looked at me taking a pamphlet out of his jacket giving it to me like a little boy ''we decided to seek help and join together to end all the addictions that made us complete idiots, it's a hospital and I want to go to so they can help me"
"I'm so proud of you…" I smiled at him feeling my eyes wet as I hugged him tightly and he returned the gesture by sitting me on his lap "You're going to make it, like everything you've achieved on your own, I'm going to support you in every step you take, I promise"
---------------------------------
It's been a year since Nikki and the boys sought help, they had their problems as a band after that but Nikki always reminded me ''It's band problems love, don't worry'' he had become such a calm and positive man that sometimes it was strange to miss the troubled Nikki Sixx.
It was 8am when I came out of a shower, a completely calm shower with no interruptions, I still managed to put some lotion on my body and some clean pajamas to go downstairs to make breakfast when I froze in front of the bed.
There was Nikki, holding our little Faith, it was so adorable and funny to watch them together, she almost disappeared in her daddy's wide arms as she held his finger and with her other little hand she held her head while sleeping, she took that pose from me.
I carefully placed a blanket over both of them, it was early November and the cold air was coming in through the only open window that Nikki refused to close, but it was impossible not to feel my heart melt and I carefully laid down behind him hugging him caressing the small chubby cheek of our little girl
''Don't wake her up..'' Nikki murmured making me smile ''I barely managed to get her to sleep''
''I'm sorry baby..I'm going to make breakfast'' I caressed his hair kissing his shoulder getting up slowly from the bed
I felt like our life was perfect after everything we had suffered, watching Nikki being the most loving and caring father with our Faith made me feel complete, when daddy was home there wasn't a second that he didn't have his little girl in his arms, it didn't matter if he was in his study or with the boys, he was the proudest father and he didn't lose sight of her even when Uncle Tommy carried her and played with her making her laugh.
-------------------------------------------------
It's been 3 years since Faith came into our lives, now Vince has returned to the band and the boys are on a new tour around the country, Nikki barely had the schedule of dates and asked me to pack bags for me and Faith because he wanted us to be with him at all time.
''Look, honey, who's there?'' Faith was a little version of Nikki, her dark hair had been inherited from me but her beautiful eyes and features were totally from her daddy
''It's daddy'' she smiled clapping as she listened to the notes the boys played ''mommy, daddy is so cool''
''I know, daddy is the best'' she kept moving her little head with her pink headphones protecting her ears while I held her on my waist looking at the band.
Nikki kept looking at us, I could see how from time to time his attention focused on us on the side of the stage, blowing kisses towards us but I encouraged Faith to respond to those kisses telling her that they were all for her, she is totally a daddy's girl.
''Mommy, when are we going to tell daddy?'' Her green eyes looked at me as she innocently fluttered her eyelashes
''We'll tell him tonight but for now it's our secret okay?'' I smiled at her giving her a kisses attack on her little face making her laugh
No one said it would be easy being Mrs. Sixx and now it would be a little less easy with another Sixx growing inside me.

summer heat
(reader x mattsun)
959 words
{a/n: I did in fact finish writing this at 12 am. So excuse any grammar and mistakes. But this in fact my first ever piece I'm publishing here. So if you have any sort of constructive criticism please tell me (kindly though) anyways enjoy}
it was mid-summer, and its that point of the month where the temperatures were at their all time highs, and the fact that your air conditioning broke didn't make it any better.
it's late at night, you and your boyfriend mattsun couldn't sleep comfortably. The humidity and heat mixing which made your sheets stick to your sweaty body in discomfort.
the two of you had made your way to the living room couch. The room is dim with only the fairy lights you hung in your apartment giving it a comforting glow, and the light of the television playing your favorite show shines on your faces. The windows are open to let the cool night breeze in along with the fans spinning at the highest speeds in attempts to cool the both of you down. You and mattsun lay on opposite ends of the couch, not being able to sit close to each other without being uncomfortable, but your legs meet in the middle, tangled with each other.
"Its so hot" you groan in annoyance. Mattsun glances over at you, wishing he could do something. Anything. To put the two of you out of this misery.
"I know baby, tomorrow we'll call the landlord again and I'll make sure he fixes it. And if not, we can crash at Makki's" he responds in a sweet tone, putting his hand over your shin to comfort you. You smile at the gesture.
He feels the weight of the couch shift, he glances over at you get up and walk to the fridge. You open the freezer and grab two ice cubes, you turn back around to face him with a grin on your face. He smiles dearly at you as he watches you walk towards him, handing him the cube. He puts the cold cube on his body, the cool touch soothing him. You move his legs aside as you rub your ice cube all over your neck. You sigh at the feeling.
In that moment, mattsun can't seem to get his eyes off you. You look so beautiful to him at that moment. Your hair tied back in a bun with your front layers clipped back. You're wearing a sports bra and the shorts you've had since high school. You're wearing your glasses, that you only wear at home or when you're too lazy to put in your contacts. He wishes you always wore your glasses.
"What are you staring at? Do I have something on my face?" you question, looking at him, and putting your fingers around your mouth. Maybe some of your dinner had missed your mouth. He shakes his head no, and you turn your head back at the tv.
Suddenly he feels like this moment right here, this is it. Sitting on your couch as your favorite tv show plays in front of the two of you. He reaches his hand into the pocket of his shorts and he feels the small velvet box he'd been carrying around with him everywhere since after your one month anniversary.
Now he sits here, next to you, two years later on the couch the two of you bought when you first moved in after a year. His stomach is doing flips, he can't believe what he's about to do, but he knows that this is what he wants for the rest of his life. He's known since the moment he laid eyes on you.
"Will you marry me?"
"What?!" you say in shock, whipping your head to his direction. All your focus is on him.
"Will you marry me?" he asks again. His stomach churns, he feels butterflies in his stomach, his heart is beating faster than imaginable, and he starts sweating. Not because of the heat this time. He moves down to the ground and gets on one knee, pulling the box out his pocket, opening it to reveal the ring.
"Y/N, for as long as we've been dating that I was going to marry you. Fuck, since the moment I laid my eyes on you I knew. I-"
"Yes." you cut him off
"What?!"
"Yes. YES. YES! A MILLION TIMES YES! I'LL MARRY YOU!" You yell as you jump onto him. You have a couple of happy tears streaming down your face as you and mattsun lie on the floor of your apartment, bodies tangle with each other.
He shifts his weight so that you straddle his lap now. You cup his face, leaning in to give him a kiss. "I'll marry you any day" You say between kisses. He smiles and pulls you impossibly closer to him. He pulls away and grabs your left hand, sliding the ring onto your ring finger. It fits perfectly. Its in the metal you always wear, something he noticed immediately. It has a small diamond in the middle, nothing too fancy. You look at it in awe.
"I know its not much, but it's all I could afford at the moment." He looks at you, rubbing small circles on your hip.
"It's perfect." you say softly. Looking back at him. "It's everything and more. I love you"
"I love you too." He puts his hands behind your neck, pulling you into a kiss. You gladly kiss him bacl. It's soft, its intimate...
Its....cold?
You both feel a gush of cool air blow against your bodies. You break the kiss and stare in disbelief and turn to your air conditioner, seeing it had turned on. You giggle at the coincidence of the timing, and you guys go back to what you were doing before.
Its still late at night. You and your fiancé mattsun lay in bed sleeping comfortably in each others arms with a feeling of love in the air.

⋆౨ৎyou're home alone waiting for alex⋆౨ৎ fem reader x alex nilsen
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There hadn't been this many creaks in the roof before tonight, you swore. Bundled up in a blanket on the couch, movie on in a sordid attempt to fill the silence, you looked up at every possible sound of footsteps outside the door.
Alex was chaperoning the Halloween dance at school, and he'd promised he wouldn't be out too late, that he just needed to fill in for another teacher who couldn't make it at the beginning. But it was nearing eleven, and he'd been out for three hours, with no sign of returning home soon.
Your phone buzzed, vibrating the couch cushion, and you snatched it up, sliding the call icon over. "Hello?"
"Hi baby...sorry, some of the kids tried to bring in flasks and things got out of hand..." The background noise on Alex's side was muffling him slightly, nearly swallowing his words. You could hear music and chatter, buzzing through the static of the phone. "I'm leaving right now..." There was a whoosh, and then it was quieter on his end. He must have gotten outside. The idea of him calling you the instant he was able made you smile.
"It's okay," you promised, sitting up straighter and adjusting the blanket on your lap. "I was getting worried about you."
"I'm sorry," he apologized, the whistle of his car unlocking punctuating it. "I'll be home in ten minutes. Love you."
"Love you too." You hung up, settling back into the couch and pulling the blanket up to your chest. Trying to focus on the movie, not being home alone. You were likely imagining the noises surrounding. Imagining the tapping on the windows, imagining the rustle of the curtains.
Shivering, you pulled the fuzzy blanket tighter around you, wishing it was Alex's arms instead. You had a lovely nightly routine that the two of you made a point to stick to. Cuddling and kisses, no matter what.
Stretching, you accidentally knocked your phone to the ground and jolted as it clattered. Your own reaction made you giggle, realizing how on edge you were when he wasn't home. The darkness combined with the lack of Alex seemed to make you more skittish than an alley cat.
The familiar sound of clinking keys startled you worse than your phone had, and you straightened, lifting the remote to turn off the movie. Holding the blanket around yourself, your eyes seemed to be glued to the door as it squeaked open, revealing Alex, wearing his dress pants, tie loosened, sleeves rolled up. He brightened when he saw you, and you let go of the blanket, reaching out for him. "Baby."
"Baby," he chuckled, kicking off his shoes and sitting down next to you. Alex pulled you into his arms, letting your head rest on his chest and then laying back so his head was propped against the armrest. Your body was snug between his legs as he tugged the blanket over the two of you. Leaning down, he pressed his lips to your forehead. "Missed you."
"I missed you," you emphasized. "It was scary being home alone."
"Aww, I'm sorry," he murmured into your hair, rubbing your back over the blanket. "Damn kids. I should have brought you with me. We'll do that next time."
"Are you asking me to prom, Alex?" you murmured, giggling and looking up at him.
He couldn't help his grin, smoothing a big hand over your back, tickling the ends of your hair. "Depends if you'll say yes."
"Of course I'll say yes," you smiled, letting your head fall against his chest.
"Maybe then my students will finally believe I have a girlfriend," Alex mumbled, and you giggled. He mock-shook his head, tilting his chin up. "Apparently I'm too nerdy to be believed."
"Well you're also hot," you insisted, smoothing your hands over his chest, and he breathed a laugh, catching your lips in a light kiss and tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
"Am I now?" he asked playfully, shifting his thigh and bouncing you on his lap much to your delight. "Well, alert the twelfth graders."
You dissolved into laugher, nuzzling against his chest and clinging tight to him, kisses and cuddles ensuing as you eased into your nightly routine.

Just thought about lee teacher x reader student👀 not necessarily school type setting, just her showing you something but i imagine her being annoyed with u while you're teasing her on purpose or something like that? or roles reversed. (Reader showing her some recipe and she purposely keeps messing it up to get them riled up lmao) PS i also think her perfectionism makes her good cook
lee teaching reader something and reader being a menace + vice versa
note to anon: LOVE THIS!! like, yeah, both these ideas just have so much teasing and playfulness involved, I adore them. especially considering we don't always see lee in that teasing sort of position, so yeah hehe. thank you so much for the request!! and honestly, yeah, I could see her being such a stickler for exact directions during cooking, but then also, fumbling and panicking sm during her first few times HAHA contains: not proofread, suggestive stuff but nothing explicit, lots of teasing from reader and then lee, making out, implied post-story sex, my very limited knowledge of woodwork from the class I took at sixteen LMFAO pls bear w me
⭑・゚゚・:༅。.。༅:゚::✼✿ ✿✼:゚:༅。.。༅:*・゚゚・⭑
"so, do I put it against it on this side?" you inquire, raising an eyebrow at lee.
she shakes her head. "no. flip it around, otherwise the wrong edge will get rounded. and remember to secure the fence."
your lips quirk. "has that ever happened to you? the wrong edge getting rounded."
"unfortunately."
with a laugh, you follow her directions, turning the block of wood around on the surface router. much to lee's surprise, two nights ago, you had tugged on the end of her t-shirt, requesting that the two of you build a shelf together to commence you moving into her cottage. you had heard of the idea from one of your friends, and since then, hadn't been able to detach the novelty and romance away from the idea building something with your partner that you two get to live with forever. when you told, as her head rested on the crook of her elbow, her eyes had scanned you warily, lips pressing together.
you couldn't blame her for the hesitation. you don't have all that much experience when it came to woodwork, but the silver lining is that lee does. which means that, while she now has to deal with the brunt of the work in guiding you, you guys at least get to work on something together. a rarity considering most of her time is spent on investigations, something she usually tries to keep away from you.
plus, another pro is -- well, checking her out, really. she doesn't let you carry anything heavy, the rippling tones of her arms flexing when she does so herself. and when she does anything with her hands, even when it's simply sanding a plane of wood, you can't help but linger on the way her knuckles bend and curl with each movement, her veins sticking out as she does so. even now, as she prepares to use the router, and bends down to check where the button to turn it on is, she, so enticingly, stretches out her back as she straightens up. you bite your lip at the sight of the soft muscle there rolling and tensing.
the sudden attraction surging through you for your girlfriend has your stomach flipping in giddiness, and you lean in her direction with a grin. "you sure it won't happen again now that I'm here?"
"why would it? will you try to mess with me?"
"no!" you scoff. "because, you know, I might distract you." your tone shifts to a lower, more teasing tone, usually reserved to the privacy of her -- no, actually, your guys' -- bedroom.
she blinks at you. "you won't. woodwork can be risky, so I'm gonna focus."
you sigh at the total miss. "I was flirting, bozo."
"oh." she blinks at you, then turns back to the router. "well, still applies."
you pout as she softly grabs your wrist and tugs you to the table. "okay, now, what do you do?"
your eyes wryly skim along the machine. "I can drag the wood along it now?"
her lips fold in together, a small huff sliding from her nose. "no. you need to secure the fence. I just told you this."
your shoulders writhe slightly, embarrassment creeping through you. "I was distracted."
"I thought you were the one doing the distracting."
you roll your eyes, grumbling below your breath, "that doesn't mean we aren't at equal risk."
"the only thing we're at equal risk for is getting injured if you don't focus. now pay attention and lock the fence."
her firm tone, though lacking in bite and still gentle, has you frowning. in the throes of giddiness of just how goddamn hot your girlfriend it, part of you is petulant over the desire for her attention.
"but, don't you want to know why I'm distracted?" you ask, your voice teetering onto a singsong rhythm.
she spares you a momentary glance, eyebrow slightly arched. you know it's her silent way of telling you to proceed.
"well..." you trail off, leaning close to her so that no one else hears you. "you look really hot right now."
her nostrils flare slightly, and your lips quirk at the heaving weight her breaths take on. it may sound slightly sadistic of you, but there's something entirely satisfying in watching lee's usual cool, calm and collected state shatter because of your teasing, whether it's due to embarrassment, arousal, annoyance or a head-spinning combination of all three.
"not now -- we need to focus."
"but, how can you expect me to do that when you're here, in a tank top?" you reply, curling your fingers around her firm bicep and giving it a squeeze, which makes her lips tighten even more.
"I trust you can control yourself."
"lee," you sigh, tugging on the bottom of her tank.
she swats your hand away, eyes darting around your surroundings before her hand moves to your lower back, gently turning you to the machine. "later. now do it."
"only after you do me." you know how ridiculous you sound now, but you can't help it -- she's too cute to resist teasing.
she shoots you a sharp look, her wide, brown eyes narrowed in clear irritation. "we're in public."
"and? last time I checked, you didn't mi--"
"and last time I checked, building shelves together was your plan. not flirting with while I try to teach you how to do things."
"but, you just make for a hot teacher." you shrug, plastering on a mockingly innocent smile. "it's not my fault."
"and it's mine, is it?" she quietly asks, eyes flicking up to you in question.
"yes, all yours."
she hums, fingers rasping on the wood, before nodding to herself.
"what?" you ask, your curiosity sparked.
"if I'm playing teacher here, then I guess we have to go off a reward-punishment system, right?"
a warm feeling immediately swarms into your stomach, spreading and sending your body hot. "what does that mean?"
she tilts her head at you, the ghost of a smile kissing her lips. "finish the wood, and you'll get anything you want tonight. don't, and..." she ghosts her fingertips along your belt loop, giving it a slight tug. "you're aware of what I can do."
you swallow hard, your abdomen beginning to ache at the reminder of all her past punishments. "I, um-- yeah."
"get started, then."
mind feeling quite soft and malleable now, you nod, feebly picking up the wood, your face set aflame from her words.
lee watches you carefully. "at least I know now for future reference."
"oh, shut up," you huff, glaring when her lips curl up.
--
lee's mouth twists in amusement as she watches you stir relentlessly, your wrist a muddled flash as you turn it over and over again.
"I don't get it," you half-wail, face contorted in frustration. "I added the exact measurements, how is it still clumpy?"
lee feels a bit guilty, but she can't help but feel a spark of fondness flicker in her chest from watching you get so frustrated and devoted to this recipe. your eyebrows are furrows in intent focus, your mouth pinched into a frown, your nose scrunched as though the mixing bowl is your personal enemy. it's cute.
but, as time passes, and you abandon the bowl momentarily to wipe at the counter, pressing the wet paper towel into the smears and coating of flour, her stomach begins to tighten in a way that's all too familiar when it comes to you. your pants of exhaustion, the way you release those soft grunts, even the sweat lining your brow. she can't help but be reminded of the night before, when you wore such a similar expression while lee was towering over you, fingers pressed into your cheeks as she teased you in a low voice for being so needy.
that mental image is enough to know she'd like to prolong this -- at least, as subtly and tamely as possible. she doesn't want to completely ruin your recipe, but maybe just nudge your buttons for her own self-satisfaction. you seem to enjoy doing it to her all the time, so perhaps there's some merit in it.
and so, she adds a mere half-teaspoon of milk when you order her to add more fluids to the cake before leaving to use the bathroom. minutes later, when you're still stirring aimlessly, bottom lip jutting out, you whine, "why isn't it working?"
she shrugs. "I added half a teaspoon."
your head snaps up to her, eyes bulging out. "half a teaspoon? lee, what the fuck difference is that gonna make?"
she nearly snorts, but she tries, to the best of her ability, to remain neutral. not too difficult, considering it's her automatic expression always. "you said that every ingredient makes a difference. I didn't want to add too much and ruin it further."
"okay, one, me saying that applied to steps way more important than this, and two, please do not imply it's already ruined," you grumble, stomping off the the fridge to grab more milk.
"I mean, but it is," she remarks, eyes flicking to the dry, crumbled mess of your batter. "but, that doesn't mean it's not fixable."
"if it's fixable, that means it's not ruined."
"I don't think the term 'ruined' inherently comes with the implication something being irredeemable."
you shoot her a glare. "since when did you swap 'special agent' for 'english prof'?"
she's unable to resist the twitch in her mouth this time, trying to hide it with a sip from her water. she knows it's desperate of her, but honestly? there's something attractive about you giving her such a stern, authoritative look.
when you finally get the batter to your desired texture, you groan about being tired, requesting lee with an apologetic kiss to chop the chocolate while you rest, scurrying to the living room before she can protest (not that she'd ever truly deny you, you both know that).
when you pop your head back into the kitchen, she's already forcing down a smile when you innocently ask, "is it done?"
"yeah. dark chocolate, right?"
"lee!" you nearly screech. "they're gonna taste so bitter! this is why I asked you to get milk chocolate yesterday, and now--"
lee, just as she does in group discussions with coworkers, tunes you out, picking up a piece of the chopped up milk chocolate and slowly making her way to the spot you're frozen on, rambling as your voice hits pitches she's only ever heard in very different contexts. your hair is unruly, your bottom lip is swollen with how much you've bitten it, and lee feels very desirous to kiss you.
as your lips form the perfect o, lee slides the small piece of chocolate into your mouth, her eyes trained on your wet, slippery lips as you take it in so obediently, a smear of it swiped in the corner.
as you chew on it, your face relaxes, soon followed by a frown. "were you messing with me?"
she hums, smoothing her thumb over your mouth. "a few times, actually."
you splutter. "I-- of all the times-- of all the times you joke, this--this is when you choose to do it? why, what's even--"
she cuts you off without a moment's hesitation, her lips slotting over yours, tongue prodding at that sweet bit of chocolate that got to be tucked into the best place possible.
a soft gasp from you gives her the perfect opportunity to worm her tongue into your mouth, playfully flicking yours as your mouths grow slick and dripping with it. the taste of the chocolate seeps into her mouth, and she holds back from moaning as you two swap the sweetness of it.
when she parts from you, the hot moist of your breaths still mixing in together, she whispers. "you just-- you looked good angry." now that she's forced to admit it, she realizes just how ridiculous the entire thing sounds.
her eyes tentatively raise to you, widening when she sees not judgement, not confusion, but that half-lidded look you get when she does something you relish in, like working out from home.
before she can dissect it further, you're right back on her, messily kissing her as you yank her by the collar of her shirt. "bedroom. now."
a stifled laugh comes from her. "but, the cookies--"
"later, later," you mumble, pushing her onto her back before climbing on with a grin that has lee's stomach flipping. "I'll give you a real chance to enjoy some frustration now."

School Girl Crush Pt 5
Tumblr media
Part 1| Part 2| Part 3| Part 4| Part5| A new BAU member appears and Spencer sees her as a little threat to his status of boy genius. Being unable to get comfortable with each other causes some issues within the team. Will they be able to move past it and work together?
Spencer Reid x FemBau!OC Warnings: Violence, injury, blood, guns, mild swearing, talks about drugs and painkillers, medical stuff(probably inaccurate)
"Garcia. Can you confirm the address?" I held my phone to my ear, creeping around the side of the house in the dark. This lead seemed like a dead end. No one was here. My gun was heavy in my hand as it hung by my side. The address is correct Lyn. I just had to make sure. "Well, there's no one here Gar.."
A loud shot ripped through the phone. Garcia froze, eyes glazed over as she tried to listen for anything. "Lyn?! Agent Colesta!" Fear burnt her chest. That was a shot. There had been a shot and now she wasn't answering. It took a few seconds for her to come to her senses. Her fingers hit keys frantically. Hotchner. His steady voice was little comfort. "Sir, Lyn..Agent Colesta. She....she." Penelopes rambling was incoherent. Garcia. Calm down. What happened? Forever the voice of reason. Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself. "Agent Colesta was checking out that lead. She was saying there wasn't anyone there, I heard a shot and she isn't responding." Saying it made her panic again. Send us the address Garcia. Then the call cut off. She had already send the information to them. All she could do was wait.
Hotch pocketed his phone. All eyes were on him, waiting for whatever Garcia had been so panicked over. "Agent Colesta may have been injured. Morgan, Prentiss, Reid are coming with me to apprehend the unsub. JJ, Rossi, you stay here to route any calls or information we might need." A silence settled over the team as they jumped into action. In a matter of minutes, they were in the cars, vests on. The house was 7 minutes away and the drive there was the worst. Everyone was on edge. Lyn had been with the team for 9 months and had developed strong relationships with each and every one of them. Spencer sat in the backseat, leg shaking. There was this indescribable feeling. It was fear, sorrow, guilt, anger all rolled into one. The idea of Lyn being hurt, or worse, ignited a physical pain. He didn't have chance to question it. His main focus was on the moments until the car stopped.
They kept formation as the team rushed through the property. Hotch signaled for Prentiss and Morgan to go to house and find the unsub. Reid ran around the side of the house, eyes scanning for any sign. His gun was in his hand but his main focus was on finding her. And find her he did. Agent Colesta was laying on the ground beside the house, unmoving. Dread surged through him. She wasn't moving. His fingers found his earpiece, connecting him to his team members. "Found her. We need EMS." He didn't wait for a response, kneeling down next to his colleague. "Agent Colesta." His attempts to call out to her were pointless, her head lulled to the side, her face pale. She had been shot. They had expected that but seeing it, was so much worse than Reid could ever have imagined. Her left shoulder was coated in blood, pooling onto the dirt beneath her. Even in the dark, the red was so prominent that it made him feel slightly sick. All his genius left him for a moment. Pressure on the wound. Reid told himself what to do. His hands found the gunshot wound, pressing down on it, hard. Based on the time of Garcia's call, she must have been bleeding out for around 11 minutes. Every statistic was running through his head. Chances are that she would be fine. The bullet hadn't gone through anything vital. Even if the statistics pointed to her being okay, Reid couldn't shake the horrid feeling settling into his chest.
Reid didn't know how long he had sat there, holding her shoulder. Time wasn't real in that moment. All he knew was the fear he had. A hand tapped him. "Reid. EMS are here." Morgan's voice managed to break through his trance. Looking over his shoulder, the doctor didn't release his hold. He didn't let go when the lights of the ambulance came into view. It took Morgan physically prying his friend away, to let EMS do their jobs. Reid stared down at his hands. Blood coated his palms, turning his skin sticky and making it feel tight. The germophobe in him was repulsed by the sight, the unhygienic conditions coating his hands. But the rest of him didn't care. The young doctor fought out of Morgans hold, following the paramedics as they wheeled Lyn away. The others watched on in a mixture of concern and disbelief as Reid rushed towards the ambulance. They had never seen him look so desperate. It was Hotch that stopped him, stood in front of him. "I can ride with her in the ambulance." His eyes didn't leave her unconscious figure. "No. I'll go with Agent Colesta. You clean up and meet us at the hospital with Morgan and Prentiss." Reid wanted to argue but the finality in his tone was glaringly obvious.
Doctors gave Agent Colesta the all clear, explaining her condition to Hotch. A mild concussion, a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The rest of the team was gathered in waiting room, scared for their friend and colleague. The unsub was in holding, ready to be processed and sent down for his crimes. Reid was bouncing his leg, his nervousness pouring out of him. They didn't need to be profilers to read him. If the situation wasn't so serious, they might've teased him. But it wasn't the right time for some lighthearted banter.
Hotch appeared, face as blank as ever. Everyone sat on the hard plastic chairs looked over at him expectantly. The amount of hospital visits the team had racked up together left them with a permanent anxiety whenever they were within a 2 mile radius of the wretched building. "She should be fine. Mild concussion and a gunshot wound to her left shoulder." A wave of relief washed over them. "Can we see her?" Emily asked the question that was on all of their minds. "Only one person at a time." With that, Hotch dismissed himself as his phone began to ring again. It was JJ who stood up first, walking down the hallway to find the right room. The beeping of machinery was the first sound to greet her. A white hospital room held a bed in the centre of the room. Agent Colesta lay beneath the white sheets, looking incredibly peaceful, copper hair tucked underneath her head. There was a chair pulled up to the side of the hospital bed. Wires emerged from beneath the blanket, connecting to a variety of machines. JJ took a seat, watching her friend breath and her heart beat on the monitor. Over the last 9 months every member of the team had developed a close bond with Lyn. One by one they entered the room, sat for a little while and swapped with the next person. JJ just hoped she would be fine and back on her feet in no time. Morgan cursed himself for not being there. Rossi started to plan a way to cheer her up while she recovered. Hotch could already see the fight he would have to have with her about taking time away from work to recover and it make him smile a little, only on the inside though. Emily was preparing all the jokes she could make when Lyn could hear them, already missing the friend who matched her sense of humor. Then it was Spencer's turn. He couldn't bring himself to look at her unconscious face. A small pool of guilt settled in the pit of his stomach. Logically, Spencer knew it wasn't his fault but he couldn't shake the thought that he should've been there, he should've got there quicker. He reach over slowly, taking her hand in his own. Her fingers were limp and cold to the touch. He had washed the blood from his hands ages ago but it was as if he could still feel it, tightening his skin. It was late in the night so Reid felt his eyes become heavy.
Hotch placed a hand on Reid's shoulder, waking him from his sleep. The doctor had fallen asleep with his head on the side of the hospital bed, his hands clasping Lyn's. Spencer shot up, a little startled. His eyes first flick to Agent Colesta before looking over to his boss. "Go back to the hotel Reid, get some sleep." The order didn't sit well with him. "I'm fine Hotch." That earnt him a pointed look. "Get some sleep. Come back in the morning, no earlier than 8." There was no space for argument. Reluctantly, Reid released her hand, standing up and exiting the room, sparing one final glance over his shoulder at his colleague. Hotch took a seat, deciding at least one of them should stay. Agent Colesta was a key part of the team and regularly raised spirits so it pained Hotch to see her so vulnerable and injured.
The lights to the house were off and it looked completely empty. I had a name in the file sat on the passenger seat of the SUV. He was a possible witness to one of the recent murders. Majority of the team was back at the precinct, working on the profile. I tried knocking on the front door anyway, just incase. Unsurprisingly, there was no answer. I moved my jacket to the side, grabbing my phone and dialing Garcia. As it rang, I walked around the side of the house. "Garcia. Can you confirm the address?" I held my phone to my ear, creeping around the side of the house in the dark. This lead seemed like a dead end. No one was here. My gun was heavy in my hand as it hung by my side. The address is correct Lyn. I just had to make sure. "Well, there's no one here Gar.." Pain erupted in my left shoulder. My hand dropped the phone, it smashing instantly. The ringing from the shot echoed in my ears. I could see the shooter running around the back of the house. I didn't even think about it before I was running after him, gun in hand and ignoring the pain and blood. The adrenaline coursing through me pushed me after him. I managed to shoot him in the left thigh, slowing him down slightly as he limped away. My body felt heavy as the world tilted. It was obvious that I was losing a significant amount of blood from my wound. My knee's buckled and I hit the floor, my gun lost from my grip. The ground was incredibly hard as my head hit the floor. I could feel myself bleeding out on the dirt. My team would be here soon. Garcia would have contacted them the second the call cut out. I wasn't that far from the police station. I just had to wait a little longer. The unsub was injured. They'd get him. I could feel unconsciousness threatening me. I knew that I needed to stay awake as I had probably gotten a concussion when I fell, but it was too much. My head lolled to the side and the last thing I heard was the screech of tires.
Everything hurt. There was a beeping to my right. A tightness across my chest. With all my energy, I pried my eyes open, grateful for the dim lights. The sterile smell of hospitals always unnerved me, it was too clean, too artificial. It always reminded me of all the trips I took to A&E as a child in need of stiches or x-rays. I looked around. My eyes caught on a figure sat in the chair beside me. Hotch was slouched a little, tie loosened ever so slightly. Considering the lack of light, it was safe to say it was quite late. I was a little surprised that Hotch had stayed. My weariness began to fade, my senses returning to me a little more. There was an aching in my left shoulder. No. Not an aching. There was a blinding pain radiating from my left shoulder. A small noise bubbled in the back of my throat. That captured Hotch's attention. His eyes found mine and he gave me the slightest smile. "I always knew I was your favourite." Even in my state I was absolutely hilarious. "Don't tell Garcia." Was SSA Aaron Hotchner making a joke? Oh my God. He was. I chuckled slightly as I shifted to try and get a little more comfortable. My movements only worsened the already excruciating pain. I scrunched my face in agony. Without saying a word, Hotch stood up and left the room, stopping a nurse in the hallway. I could remember every detail of what happened. The shot, running after the unsub, collapsing. There was a faint memory of a warm hand clutching mine but it was distant, as if it could have been a dream or hallucination.
After a few pain filled minutes, Hotch came back followed by a doctor and a nurse. There was a flurry of questions to rate my pain, how I was feeling, stuff like that. I tried my best to answer them but I was struggling to keep up. All I wanted was to go home, see my friends. I felt like a test subject as they poked and prodded me, shifting the top of the hospital gown to reveal a bloodied dressing wrapped across my shoulder and around my chest. There's a distant conversation about pain meds of some sort but it was all lost to me. I trusted Hotch to make all the decisions, seeing as he was listed as my next of kin since all my family was on a different continent. His serious expression remained as he spoke to the doctor, discussing the best course of treatment. In the end, the nurse hooked me up to another IV, pumping morphine through my veins. My head grew clouded, the drug dimming all my senses. I was pretty sure Hotch was asked to leave when the nurse changed my dressing. After that, I fell into a morphine fueled sleep.
It took them 2 days to discharge me. Even when they did, I was pumped full of pain meds. I was a little loopy the whole time. The team stopped by on their way to the jet, bringing my overnight bag with them. "I'm gonna have a cool scar now. Watch out Morgan, you've got some competition." Derek laughed as my really bad joke, probably out of pity but I was so out of it that I truly believed I was the next Peter Kay. Prentiss offered to help me get dressed before being released. I was so sick of the thin hospital gown that felt like shitty paper. Emily helped me with my t-shirt, sliding it over my injured shoulder. My left arm was in a sling to keep moving it to a minimum.
While I had been discharged from the hospital, I hadn't been cleared to fly just yet. Because of that, I wouldn't be going on the jet with everyone else. Originally, I was meant to be driving with Hotch. Our case had only taken us around 4 hours away from home so it wasn't too difficult to get me back home. However, all morning he had been taking calls and checking his watch. "You should go on the jet Hotch. Whatever that is, is more important." He seemed torn at my slightly slurred words. "You need to get back and you can't fly." He tried to reason but there was a nagging in the back of his mind. "I can drive." A new voice joined the conversation from the doorway of my hospital room. Reid stood there, a small bunch of flowers clasped in his hand. My heart melted just a little. "You don't have to Reid." Spencer wasn't the biggest fan of driving and everyone knew it. "I can do it Hotch, really."
And with that, I found myself in the passenger seat of an SUV with Reid behind the wheel. We set off about mid afternoon, driving for hours. The small bouquet of flowers sat on my lap. At the start of the journey I tried to make some conversation but the drugs just made it come out as incoherent ramblings. Spencer didn't seem bothered by it, responding to what he could, smiling at me when I made absolutely zero sense. The radio played quietly in the background as the sun set. I hummed along as I stared out the window. Every time I went for a long drive over here, I was always shocked that there were no roundabouts. Back home there was one every 2 seconds but here, they're non-existent. I tried to push the thoughts of home from my mind. I hated that the painkillers made me feel as if I had no control over my mind or body.
I hadn't been paying much attention. So I was a little surprised when the car slowed to a stop. We were parked in front of my apartment building. I turned to Spencer as he turned the engine off. "Thank you." My voice came out all high pitched and wobbly. His eyes were filled with concern. "What's wrong? Are you in pain?" The words fell from his lips in a hurried cascade. I shook my head as tears welled up in my eyes. He reached across and held my hand. It was a comforting, familiar feeling. "What's the matter then?" I knew I was being emotional because of the drugs but I couldn't stop it. "I miss home." The whisper released the tears and they rolled down my cheeks. "Do you want to go back to England?" There was this look on his face, that when paired with the tone of his voice, broken my heart a little more. My tears fell quicker, turning into small sobs. "No, I like it better over here." The words mixed with my sobbing made no sense. God, these pain meds were really screwing with me. There was a little bit of humor in Spencer's eyes but he tried to keep a serious expression, probably as not to upset me further. "Lets get you inside." He quickly got out of the car, grabbing my bag and opening my door. Like a gentleman, Reid led me towards my building as I tried to calm myself down. By the time we had reached my door, all tears had stopped. He retrieved my keys from my bag, opening my front door.
Spencer put my flowers in a vase, got me a glass of water and sat down on the sofa next to me. The meds were wearing off a little but I was still as high as a kite. "Thank you for driving me Reid." I dropped my head back against the cushion. "It was actually a lot of fun, I really enjoyed our conversations." I knew he was just humoring me but it meant a lot. "I like it a lot better here anyway." I gave him a toothy grin. "Really?" His smile made my heart flutter. Stupid crush. "Yeah, things are just better for me here." Our eyes remained locked as I spoke. He didn't say anything, as if he was waiting for me to continue, explain. "I never really had many friends back home. You guys welcomed me and made me feel like family, I've never had people be so nice to me before." His eyes turned a little sad. "And, there's no you back home." My words were slurred slightly but my new found confidence was as clear as day. Spencer's face grew shocked and his cheeks flushed ever so slightly. "I was so bummed when I thought you hated me because I really like you Spencer. You're probably one of my favourite Americans, after Garcia of course."
Spencer remained flustered the whole way home. Lyn's words echoed through his mind. The look in her eyes when she said those words. "I really like you Spencer." Like a friend. Like a good friend. Nothing more. Yet the mere thought that there was even a slight chance she felt the same way as he did made his heart beat erratically. Stupid crush.

a/n: i looooovvvee sub!Larissa and I think it's definately going to start showing more in some of the things I put out. i love the idea of her trusting someone like that. She's been through so much, so allowing herself to give her body to someone can mean more than what meets the eye.
✧・.☽˚。・゚✧ :══════⊹⊹══════: ✧・゚。˚☾.・✧
You had left your shared questers a bit earlier this morning, with the hope of getting some extra work done to share a better weekend with Larissa. You hadn't been gone for long, only about 10 minutes until your class was to start for the day, when you saw an abundance of messaged being sent to your phone. It wasn't often that you found your phone blowing up with messages from your lover, but when it did it was always full of a night of fun.
You had gotten a few messaged from her while you were grading your last paper, and decided to look at all of them when you were finished. The constant flashing of your phone screen and the small buzzing against the desk did a good job in distracting you, however, and ultimately left you with the assignment nearly finished.
You grabbed your phone, quickly typed in your password, and opened your messages as the first small group of students had walked into your class. You looked up and gave them a small 'good morning' before throwing your focus back to your woman.
When you had looked back at your phone, there were more messages being thrown your way, photos stacked together of her in the most delicious lingerie you had seen her in to date. The dark colors contrasted her pale skin in a way that made your mouth water. As you scrolled through all of them, the air from your lungs stilled and your heart rate quickened. When you scrolled back to the bottom, there was one message from 15 seconds ago.
Riss: Like what you see? I've heard I can be quite the distraction..
Y/N: If I knew you were sending me these, I would've opened my messages much sooner.. Such a beauty for me, aren't you?
Your face paired with a deep blush and a smirk had made a home on your lips. You scrolled back to the photos, lost in the traces she always managed to capture you in, before being shocked back to reality as the school bell rang through the room.
Riss: Better get to work - I'd hate to be the reason you couldn't focus
Y/N: You should do the same, hmm? Focus for me, love. You might get rewarded at the end of today, so behave
With that you let out a sign as you stood, clicking your phone off and placing it into a drawer for safe keeping. You looked around the room, seeing your students all ready to learn, and smiled.
Throughout your lessons, your mind had wandered back to the photos that plagued your mind. There were moments where you had your students doing independent work at the end of your classes and you had caught yourself simply staring at your computer screen as you imagined everything you could do to her..
The way the lingerie hugged her body was enchanting, the lace highlighting every curve and the sheer fabric leaving nothing to the imagination.. Her skin was the mere empty canvas that you were sure to fill up with your art when you were able to capture her in your arms, pulling the fabric off her body as your cold fingertips left goosebumps along her skin, grabbing onto her hips as she arched into you with every mark.
You were once again snapped away from your desires when there were questions about the assignment being thrown your way. You stood from your desk, feeling the warmth that had pooled between your thighs, and went over to answer any questions or clear up any comments they had.
This was going to be a long day..
~~
Your lunch break had come at an agonizingly slow pace - looking at the clock multiple times over the hours that had passed didn't help either. You were lucky to have your classroom alone, ushering the last student out of the room, before shutting and locking the door.
You basically ran back to your seat. Hearing your phone buzz in your desk drawer only made you riled up, especially because you knew each message was from your good girl..
You threw all focus out the window as you leaned back against your office chair, phone in hand. Your breathing had already picked up significantly, and you were waiting for your brain to absolutely short circuit at anything else she managed to come up with.
You had to stop yourself from drooling as you opened the app, a segment of photos allowing her sliver of control to unfold. There were groups of photos, all seemingly going together as she slowly had less clothing on in each one. The first was her taking off her coat and settling herself on the bed, photos being taken from the reflection of one of the mirrors or with her front camera. The next was her slipping off her dress, the pale skin becoming exposed within the walls of your shared bedroom.
The last nearly had you calling out for the rest of the day. The first photo in the group was a body shot of her in the lingerie she showed you this morning, followed by one with her hand between her thighs, then her fingers moving the fabric away to show how incredibly drenched she was, then her fingers running through her folds, and the last one showing her fingers knuckle deep in her cunt.
The last segment was sent three minutes ago..
Y/N: What did I say about behaving?
Riss: I took it as a suggestion
Y/N: One you didn't follow
Riss: Correct - and one I won't follow today
The last text from her made you groan, and you knew she wouldn't let up. The fact was proven as your own message was cut off from another one sent from her - a beautiful voice message full of her moans..
The sound of her made your your body curl forward in heat, electricity course through you, and make your whole body tingle. The want that settled itself between your legs only grew, and you couldn't wait for this work day to be over.
Y/N: You better not cum. You'll edge yourself until it's my fingers, my cock that fills you. Understood?
Riss: Yes, Y/n
Y/N: Good girl..
~~
You were practically running through the halls after you cleared out your classroom, after you gathered all your things and locked your door like a madman. She sent you updates, proving to you that she didn't cum, proving that she could be a good girl for you..
And it only made your body ache and burn with immense need..
You barged into her office, dropping your things by the door and locking it behind you, before stalking over to your shared quarters. You could hear her muffled moans through the wood, but nothing could've prepared you for the sight you were about to see.
She was sprawled out onto the bed, her lingerie still on as one hand pumped her fingers in and out of her core at a slow pace. Her head was thrown back in pleasure, and you could barely see the tears that were threatening to fall from the amount of times she almost reached her peak. Her face and chest were flushed, a sheen of sweat covering her pale skin as her body trembled.
Suddenly, you were eternally thankful that it was the weekend.
“Y/N, I-“ She was cut off by her own moans, her fingers working at a quicker pace as her eyes filled with desperation. “Plea- Please.. I need you-“
“You have no right to beg for me, my love.” Your voice boomed as you treaded over to her, taking your shirt off before placing your body above her own as you grabbed her hands, removing her fingers from her core and pinning them above her head. “Couldn’t wait for me, couldn’t behave.. It’s going to be so sweet destroying you…”
Your gaze filtered between both of her eyes, finding unquenchable need swirling in them. You took her hand and saw the slick that covered her fingers, before looking back at her and taking them into your mouth. Your eyes fluttered shut at the taste of her, your tongue swirling around her digits as her eyes burned into your every move.
You released them from your mouth slowly, loving the way her entire focus was on you alone, and pinned it back with her other hand. You moved your head low, down to her ear, and your voice rang out low, full of lust and the need to take her. “I wonder just how much you can take, just how many times I can make my goddess cum, hmm?”
You were met back with whimpers leaving her throat and her back arching into your touch. You kissed along her jawline, stopping just above her lips, and whispered against them. “Color?”
“Gre- Green.. please-“
Your lips crashed into hers, your own need driving your actions as you swiped your tongue along her bottom lip. She gladly let you in, your tongues dancing together and translating the growing flame that traveled throughout your beings.
You kissed down her neck, meeting her pulse point and leaving a deep mark there, licking up the porcelain column right after. You were torturing her already; you could tell by the way her hips bucked and how ragged her breathing had gotten. “Absolutely delicious..”
You placed featherlight kisses down her body, your hands releasing your grip around her wrists and traveling underneath her to unclasp her bra, tossing it somewhere in the room right after. Your fingers traced over her breasts, squeezing the soft skin in the palms of your hands, feeling her nipples harden under your touch.
You licked over her right bud and rolled the other between your fingers, the action causing loud whimpers to leave the sapphire beauty. Her back arched, pushing her breasts into your touch, as your other hand scratched lightly along her side. You gave her other bud the same attention, pulling back after and adoring the marks that were left along her skin, adoring just how much she wished that you would dive into her, give her what she wants, what she needs..
It only urged you forward, even if it was at a torturous pace..
You kissed down her body, marking up the canvas that she provided you, and had to stop due to the overwhelming desire that the smell of her arousal had filled you with. You moved your hand down to her hips and tore away that separated you from her core. She was drenched, her own arousal flooding out of her.
“All this for me?”
"Yes- Yes, Y/n please.. I need-"
You cut her off before she could finished her sentence, your tongue running through her folds at an excruciatingly slow pace, putting pressure against her clit before you pulled away completely. You were met with protests, whimpers and whines from the blonde, only to be cut off by her moans as you did the same thing.
You loved toying with her
But as her hands met your shoulders, digging her nails into your skin, as her moans got louder and less filtered, you lost the rest of your resolve.
Your tongue moved in and out of her core, fucking her and collecting everything she had to offer as your hands locked onto her hips, keeping her from moving as you made her see stars. Her first orgasm came fast, her thighs flexing and threatening to close around your head.
You moved your tongue to circle her clit to build her up for the next one, pushing two fingers into her core and moaning as her walls clenched around them. You felt her back arch underneath you, hearing her moans grow higher in pitch made your own arousal flood between your thighs. "F-Fuck! Pleas- Pleaseplease- so good"
Her moans slurred her words together, and you knew she was nearing her second orgasm soon. You applied more pressure to her clit, curling your fingers in a way that had her falling over the edge all over again. You built her back down from her high, taking a moment to take off the rest of your clothes before kissing back up her body.
She grabbed your jaw and pulled you in for a passionate and heated kiss. You shifted the lower part of your body as you kissed her, your length rubbing against her core and making her break the kiss. "Y/n.. can you- could- Gods, fuck me- please.."
"Anything for you, my darling.."
You kissed her once more, translating more softness in the touch, as you moved a hand down and lined up your member with her core. Her eyes widened slightly as you teased her entrance, always forgetting just how much of you there was.
“You can take it, sweet thing.. Gods, you feel amazing around me..” You pushed inside of her, the overwhelming pleasure making your head fall and your eyes flutter shut. Fucking Larissa was always a pleasure, both of you understanding just how delicious it was to fill the other and feel everything, but with how she was acting today, it made fucking her senseless all the more better.
"I can- I can, y/n.. I want all of you.." Her nails scratched into your back as you continued to push into her.
“That’s my girl..” Your hips met hers, and you took the time of her adjusting to your length to move down to her ear and whisper out to her. “You look divine beneath me, taking all of me like a good little slut, absolutely beautiful taking my cock like the whore you are, hmm?”
She gave you the signal to move, and the sensations that coursed through your body were divine enough to nearly make you double over. Your thrusts got rougher, faster in pace, and you moaned low above Larissa at the feeling of her around you.
"Such a good girl for me, hmm?" You moaned loudly as she clenched around you at the praise you threw at her.
"Yes- your good girl, so good-" Her head was thrown back in pleasure, her brows furrowed closely, and her eyes half lidded in lust. She was close, the way her nails dug into your back and the way she urged you to go faster made that apparent. You felt your own high coming, building behind your navel and tightening, ready to snap.
"I-I'm close.. let- let me cum- please-" You loved the way she begged, her pleas falling from her lips so easily for you.
"Cum for me, love.. Let go - I got you.." You whispered low into her ear, your words being the allowance to send her over the edge and you to follow right after her.
The room filled with your high pitched moans and heavy breaths, a layer of sweat resting along the skin of you both at the actions you'd both been through. You gently pulled out of her and shifted back to your normal form, only to be met with whimpers from your lover beneath you.
"I know, baby.. I know, I'm sorry.." You planted kissed all around her face and gently rubbed your hands along her sides, in acts of reassurance. "Let me clean you up, hmm?"
You were back just as quickly, a glass of water and a wet, warm rag in hang. You moved her to sit up against the pillows, holding the water to her lips and allowing her to drink as much as she wanted. You placed it on your bedside table, and moved to softly clean her up, tossing the rag aside when you were all done.
You moved the covers back, moving her body under them, and covering you both right after. Pulling her into your arms was the greatest reward - the way she nuzzled into your neck and placed soft kisses along it only making your heart soar.
"I wasn't too much, was I? You're okay?" Your fingers traced along her sides and rubbed warm circled on her back. It was always important to you to make sure she truly enjoyed herself and everything that had taken place.
"It was amazing.. You're perfect, my dear.." Her voice rang out against your skin, her accent filling your ears and easing all your worries. You pulled her impossibly closer, your legs tangling together as your breaths traveled along each others skin.
Your hearts were happy there, and it reminded you both how everything about you two was much better than the photos.

》 "MENTAL WORKOUTS AT 4:00 A.M."
• @jubburb
Tumblr media
ask: none.
synopsis: quizzing your boyfriend at the ripe hour of 4 am about genshin
a/n: idk but this kinda feels more like a fic where i'm shipping myself with albedo, bc I put all the answers to the questions as my answers irl. So if you don't have the same answers as me, just imagine your own answers in place of that, pls ♡
warnings: ooc albedo (probably), sweet bf albedo cuz I can write albedo however I fartin want, pretty short fic, not proofread (mistakes are definitely there, I'll proofread it tmr, prob)
notes: albedo is :, you are :
Tumblr media
You watched depressingly as your earbuds die right in front of you, ultimately stopping your music and leaving you sad with the loud ringing of silence.
So now, with nothing else to do, you pull up Discord on your phone and immediately search for your boyfriend's username on the Messages bar.
Once you find it, you click on it and notice that he's online.. at 4 in the morning. But that's the least of your worries. He's texted you at the ungodly hours of 12 A.M a couple of nights ago anyway.
-
[3:59 A.M.]
: Albedo r u awake
: Albedo albedo albedo albedooo
: Albedo I can see that you're online.
: ANSWERRRR MEEEEE
You start intensely spamming your boyfriend, before he finally answers.
: Yes? What's the matter? Shouldn't you be asleep right now? We have school today, Y/N.
You smile softly, getting more comfortable in the cold duvet of your bed before typing again, the pads of your fingers tapping against the screen.
: I could ask u the same thing albedo
: why aren't you sleeping
You question, even though his answer would probably be along the lines of "Doing an experiment."
: I'm quite busy. Though I asked questions first. Why aren't you asleep?
: i just couldn't fall asleep ig
: what are u busy doing?
: I'm awake finishing my art project. What are you doing?
: well I WASS listening to music, cuz that usually helps me fall asleep but my earbuds died so..
: Oh, how unfortunate.
: that sounds sarcastic.
: you're so rude albedo.
: Im sorry. Will a picture of Redo make it better?
You click on the image attachment Albedo sent. It was a picture of his cat, Redo, curled up in a circle right next to him, his little white paws holding onto his fluffy black tail.
: yes, it made everything better.
: That's good. Now, I should probably focus on the project, so expect my answers to be a bit late.
: kk, I'll leave u alone for a bit and scroll on tiktok.
Albedo just responded with a little thumbs up emoji, and you smile softly at that.
You exit out of Discord and scroll through all the random apps before you find Tiktok, and then you spend a couple of minutes mindlessly scrolling on your for you page, before you stumble across one of your mutuals doing a cute trend on their boyfriend.
The trend was pretty simple. It was just quizzing your boyfriend or girlfriend to see how well they knew them by asking them questions revolving around their favorite games.
You quickly exit out of Tiktok, finding the little blue app called Discord again, and started texting your beloved blondie once again.
: ohh albedooooo~
True to his words, Albedo took a couple more minutes to respond, but he did in the end.
: Yes, my petal?
You smile again, your cheeks a slight tinge of light pink at the nickname and start typing again.
: what is my favorite genshin element?
: Hm? Why are you asking? Well, either way, it's Geo, obviously.
: what's my favorite character from each region?
: You have me doing a mental workout this early in the morning.. Your favorite Mondstadt character is Diluc, in Liyue it's Zhongli, for Inazuma it's Raiden Shogun and for Sumeru it's Collei, for Fontaine it's Neuvillette, and for Natlan it's Xilonen.
: who's my favorite archon?
: Simple, Morax.
: what's my favorite elemental reaction?
: Freeze, because you like immobolizing your enemies and being able to beat them easily.
: who am I saving up for?
: Mm. You always impulse spend your primogems on every banner, but you always talk about how much you want Raiden Shogun C2, Itto, and Xilonen.
: Can I go back to my art project now?
: no. how many primos do I have saved up for these characters?
: 176. You better hope that luck comes your way and you get the character you want with a simple one pull.
: how much mora do I have?
: Last time I was on your account.. you had about 3 million, so unless that number has changed, my answer is 3 million mora. Which you could double if you actually agreed to do the Ley Lines with me.
: mkayy mkayy I have a couple more questions.
: And by a couple do you mean you'll keep asking me questions until it's time to get ready for school?
: no, seriously, I'm running out of questions to ask.
: Ah. Continue then.
: who do I hate most in genshin?
: This one is easy. Dottore. You despise that man with every bone in your body, I'm sure. You'd want to punch him through a wall, right? I won't blame you. He's a despicable human being.
: youre so right. what BP level am I on?
: Level 6, you completely ignore it, unless it gives you Fates.
: and finallyyy would you take care of my account if I died?
: Oh, definitely. I would treat it like a precious artifact. But I hope to the Archons that wouldn't ever have to be the case.
: awh, I love you 'bedo.
: I love you too, my petal. May I continue working on my project now?
: yes yes yes u can, I'll sleep for like 4 more hours before I have to start getting ready for school..
: Alright, sweet dreams, my love.
: sweet dreams, bedoo~
[4:26 A.M.]
With that, you simply exit out of Discord, feeling excited that your boyfriend cares enough to know everything about you and to keep what you tell him stored away in his noggin.
You plug your phone into the charger, and your head hits the cold pillow with a nice and relaxing thud, before drifting off into dreamland for a couple hours more, dreaming of your a familiar blonde braided Dragonspinian.

Under The Moonlight
Vladimir Makarov x Reader
Summary: You think the Commander hates your taste in music. Why is he so judgmental about what you listen to in your free time? Turns out... maybe you were caught up on the wrong thing.
Words: 2.3k
Warnings: (Vlad should probably be a warning in of itself), Passive-Aggressiveness? , Spying, Grabbing,
A/N: Ugh... I love (and hate) this song bc it gets stuck in my head so easily and it gives me such fantasy vibes. I can't help but imagine wedding vibes and him with this song every listen. btw put two diff versions in links bc those are 2/3 that I have and listen to.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"You know Arabic?" He'd asked. The first time he'd stumbled upon you listening to the song, more than curious when you'd also been singing along. With a shake of your head and a slight smile of embarrassment simultaneously dusting your cheeks with blush, this only makes his eyebrows furrow. "Then how do you know the words?"
The laugh that tumbles past your lips does nothing but further turn up the heat on the already boiling frustration and inconsequential meltdown that will no doubt later take place. "By listening to it," you answer, an inkling of a smile returning in spite of his fury, "over, and over... and over again."
With an annoyed puff of breath you know he's done with you, about to make his leave. "Why?" You ask. For once, you've swapped places as your curious eyes seek out his form.
"Because it would be useful information to know." Ever the cryptic, of course that's all he leaves you with before turning his back to you, arms crossed over his chest as he exits the room.
The second time he hears the song, he's in between meetings. It's one of those rare days where he has a little free time, not that he knows how to spend that sort of thing anymore. Having entered the library, he can hear the radio playing the Arabic song once more. Your voice joins it, again, and Vladimir finds himself subtly eyeing his surroundings as the corners of his lips twitch, tugging at a smile.
He schools himself, able to keep himself in line. While the bookshelves keep him out of view and no one's in the vicinity, he quietly strolls through the stacks, hand grazing the many novels. It seems that now you've been here longer, you're starting to get more comfortable. Even if your voice isn't the loudest, the quiet nature of a library certainly doesn't help as it carries your voice, he's sure, outdoors to the nearby stationed guards.
Once he's around the nearest bookshelf, he peeks far enough just to see your visage. From this, alone, can he paint a picture. Hand still on the page, he imagines you'd been reading, the radio on quietly as background noise, no doubt something you've continued to use since you've yet to get used to the quietness his climate provides. Thus, the radios around the Compound offer solace. He's noticed you around them often. In your focus amidst the book, you'd been distracted by the song, a familiar tune on the radio beckoning your attention. Of course, not being one to resist temptation, you couldn't resist turning it up and singing along.
He can't deny you're awful. Otherwise, he'd probably have to shoot you. It'd grow to be a nuisance, really... and dangerous, a warning signal no doubt. Yet, there's an innocence about you when you sing. Mocha-colored eyes roam your features as he watches, mesmerized, your eyes closed, as your upper body moves to the music from your chair. The smile that graces your lips is one to remember, and it's one that has him equally awed, and yet... in amusement.
"You really don't understand?" With a swift turn, Vladimir reveals himself from the bookshelves, his hands clasped behind his back casually. The gasp and jump that he'd elicited from you does nothing more than garner a chuckle from him.
"Why do you care?" You ask, hand still resting on your heart as you attempt to catch your breath. Staring at him with wild eyes, it boggles you, the way you feel like he's asked you this before. It takes a moment, as it's been at least a month or so, but you remember that he has. He's asking again. "It's not like you know," you tease, poking him back. If there's anything you'd learned early on, and he'd learned about you... it's that you love to play with Vladimir by matching fire with fire. And, equally, he too, loves to do so.
"Actually, I do, любимая," he quips. With slow and calculated steps he begins approaching the table, eyes raking over you once and then twice. "and I don't! I can assure you. I only find it amusing how you seem more than content to sing something which could mean anything... according to you."
While he stops to close the book atop your hand, inspecting the spine and choice of leisure, you suspect. You place your hand atop his, afraid he's going to take the book. It's only when he meets your gaze briefly, long enough to narrow eyes at you before immediately departing for the door a few feet behind you. "Wait!" You call after him. Turning in your seat, a hand comes up to rest against the bulbous ear of the chair; thudding boots abruptly come to a halt as the Commander stops, albeit he doesn't turn around. "What does it mean, then?" You ask, words getting quieter as you start to lose confidence the further the moment continues.
"I'm sure you'd love to know." That's all he leaves you with. Dissatisfied and annoyed with the pettiness and childlike behavior the Commander can sometimes exhibit, you ignore him whenever you can. After all, while he may have originally intrigued you, whatever curiosity you had is not worth whatever outcome you receive in the aftermath of one of his moods.
When you finally find out what the song means, it's at a moment you were completely unexpecting it. After a successful mission, you'd all celebrated by building a big bonfire at camp, sitting around after dinner, sharing stories, and drink. It's not every day you get to let loose, and while normally there's a fairly tight schedule to work around, you know better to take advantage of a free day when you can. With this in mind, you drink to your heart's content. After all, it's on the Commander, right? Listening to the stories, your head leans back against the wooden makeshift benches as your eyes find the bright stars above.
It may be an effortless attempt to map them out, or mentally draw out the constellations you know, but as you listen to the jokes, the stories, songs, and laugh along, it isn't until there's a momentary silence that you finally raise your head again. Scanning around the fire, you notice that everyone's gone to bed, it seems. And sure, while it's been a long day and it'd been getting late, you didn't think everyone would've left so soon. Yet, your eyes are drawn to the only other pair you see, staring at you from a few feet to your right. The last person left at the fire.
"You're not tired?" He asks, and it's weird. It's like there's no mask up this time. You're not sure if it's the alcohol playing tricks on you right now, or if you're really hearing him correctly, but he almost sounds... genuine.
Head leant back against the wood once again, you let it loll to the right, finally able to meet his gaze. The flames make his eyes shine brightly, his features illuminated in a fiery glow. His hair is slightly amess, some strands not falling in the same direction as the wind has blown them around. Nose and jaw sharply outlined by the shadows of the night, you can't help but feel warmth, and not because you're both sitting right in front of the fire. Eyes having roamed his features, they finally meet his again as he turns his gaze from the fire once more to you, clearly anticipating an answer.
With a shake of your head, you do nothing to stop the way your lashes slowly flutter, the mere thought and mention of sleep threatening. As you lift the bottle in your hands to your lips again, wanting to finish the last little fifth or sixth of drink left in it, you're met with a disgruntled hum. "I think you've had enough."
The words should be a warning to you. A loud and clear signal as to what was about to happen, and yet you hadn't put two and two together in your intoxicated state of mind. "Mm-mm. 'Slmost finished," you manage to slur out. Lifting the bottle again, Vladimir is quick to stand, closing the space between you as he snatches it out of your hand and tosses it into the fire. The glass breaks, flames fanning higher momentarily as he reaches under your armpits and lifts you up. There isn't much of a struggle considering you can't put up much of a fight in your state.
"It's time you get some sleep," he states, wrapping an arm around your back as he attempts to guide you to a tent. He guides you outside of the fire circle until you don't move. And while he's a strong man, perhaps it's the drink, or he doesn't know what, but you're being as stubborn as a rock.
"What's it mean?" You ask. This takes him aback; the Commander knows you're not ignorant, and while you may be drunk, there's certainly no way that vodka, or any sort of liquor no matter the quantity is capable of erasing such a simple fact as the meaning of sleep. While he takes a step back, eyes beginning to search for signs of injury, it isn't until he follows your gaze that he understands.
Albeit the distant snoring, the wind, the roaring fire, and crunching of both your boots, he hadn't realized. It was quiet, the radio on the other side of the firepit. The device had been left on, and while the two of you had stayed awake he hadn't paid too much mind to it, yet now he can't help but smile. Of course, of course of all moments this song would play. Right now.
"You really want to know?" Vladimir asks, not backing away as he towers over you, eyes meeting your face in the darkness as he waits for your attention to find him again. After all, perhaps with the way he's been the one to hear you all these little times, maybe... just maybe it could be a sign.
Ridiculous, of course. That's what he told himself for months now, too good to be true. He knows what he's done... what he's had to do. What he will do and must, not just for himself but for his people, for the planet, in order to not only survive, but bring the world to a state that will be beneficial for all. Nevertheless, they always say there's a price one must pay for such deeds. He knows this true... and while he might have dreamt at times of other lives and wanted for other things, those boy's dreams were crushed long ago.
That was... until the radio started playing that song only moments ago. As he scans your face, eager and almost impatient for you to turn your eyes on him, when you do, it's not what he expects. The scoff that meets him leaves him taken aback. Met with an eye roll, and an attempt to walk past him. He knows. He knows he can be rough, and while it might be harsh he grabs your arm and keeps you from walking any further away. Whatever prize he thinks he's found, whatever omen, sign, or soul tie... he's not letting this go. He's not letting you go.
"I know you're just gonna trick me again, okay?" While other times he might be delighted to hear that you think he'd play games with you, nothing but stoicism sits on his features.
Bringing you in close, he searches your eyes as he whispers. "The love words of his eyes are sweeter than songs." Vladimir cautiously places a hand on your waist, the one holding your arm releasing its grip as it slides up to rest on your shoulder. "From a couple of words, from a greeting, I become someone else. When he sways, my heart sways with him. I may sacrifice my eyes and whole life for him, and it's too little." He repeats the words, the two of you gently swaying in the moonlit camp as the music quietly accompanies him in the background through the aged radio.
"My night, oh, night, my night." It feels as if with each passing moment his voice somehow gets quieter and quieter if that was even possible, yet you're already so impossibly close. "Oh night, my night, his love makes the night longer. The love of years between him and I. Just one more step, my heart, it's not a fantasy." Your noses just barely brush against each other, breath mingling in the space between you.
"My soul just go with him and get lost in his beauty. His covets the magic of life, his charm extraordinary. The one whose eyes the moon envied. The smile is the shining sun." There's no denying the heat between you, the tension thick in the minimal space between you, both of your eyes closed as you revel in this moment. Yet, he knows he shouldn't. You wish he would. As the song comes to an end on the radio, he's the first to open his eyes, eager to watch your open yours. As you do, it's the same happiness and adoration that he's seen you with on your expression even when you had no idea what the song had meant.
You might not have known what it meant... but something about the vocals and the expression of the song had just given you the sense that it had been about exactly everything Vladimir had just described to you. "Thank you," you whisper, not quite ready to leave this moment. Not ready to leave his arms.
Zziiippp!!!
The sound of a tent opening nearby causes both of you to distance yourselves, something within each of you sobering up instantly. While, sure, he's the Commander and can have anything he wants... you both know things are better this way.

Parenting Miracle
Pairing: Wanda x Fem!Reader
Warning: tooth rotting, fluff, mention of death, little bit of angst, happy ending.
Summary: Ending up widowed with a kid was never in your cards. Will moving away solve your issues?
Word count: 6.7k
My requests are always open so feel more than welcome to pop in a suggestion for the next story :3
⸻⸻⋙ᗢ⋘⸻⸻
This is definitely not how you imagined your life to end up like. Being a parent was never in your cards..- Let me rephrase. Being an alone parent was never in your cards.
After your wives passing, you were devastated. Understandably so, you lost your wife in a tragic accident and you were left with your daughter to raise.
It was a horrible timing but for the better of your daughter you had to be strong. So, the past 7 years, as she grew up you knew you needed a fresh start.
Somewhere that doesn't remind you of your late wife. You knew you had to break the news to your daughter and the surrounding family.
But at the same time, you knew they would understand. Somehow, even your sister decided to move away with you, to help you settle and have your daughter be comfortable with someone she knew around.
You agreed and just like that, you moved. Obviously it took a little longer than just like that. But you managed and felt very proud of yourself for being able to do all of this.
You were glad that your sister went with you. She was with Talia whilst you worked very hard. It was slightly exhausting but with almost a year behind you.
You managed to secure yourself a place in the company, getting paid well enough with your experience that you did hybrid work. Sometimes being at the company, sometimes at home.
But it was mostly at home since you had to take care of your daughter. Even though you lived here almost a full year, you never took notice of the neighbours.
Until your sister stopped taking Talia to school, and it was now your responsibility. You never even knew Talia even made friends that lived close by.
It was until you were busy in your office when you heard quiet chatting. You were confused so naturally you went to check it out.
You found your daughter on a stool, talking over the balcony to two boys. You raised your brows at her and cleared your throat. Causing the younger girl to look over at you.
"Hello mommy." She spoke as she smiled at the sight of you.
You walked up to her as you placed your hand on her back and kissed the top of her head. "Who are you talking to?"
Her attention turned to the two boys that were smiling wide at you from the other side of the gap that separated your balcony from theirs. "That's Tommy and Billy. They are both from my class."
You hummed, as they muttered a hello to you. "Well, nice to meet you boys, but unfortunately I will have to take Talia away, she has some homework to do."
They whined in disappointment but that's how life was. Just as you were about to let Talia get off the stool. Tommy's light bulb lit up as he quickly blurted out. "Can we go outside to the park tomorrow, so she is done with homework and rested?"
You could see how her eyes lit up at the idea. She looked up at you with so much hope that you would agree. You couldn't disagree, even if you had a meeting tomorrow, you could just not attend it.
So you agreed. Though you never met Tommy's or Billy's parents, you hoped they were just as mannered as the boys. "Alright then, we will be at the park across the street after lunch."
They all cheered, and that brought pure joy to your heart. You managed to pull Talia away from the cheers and made her focus on her homework.
It wasn't anything hard, just some easy math that the teacher set. You wanted that done for her so she was ready and rested for the next day.
And that's what was happening, she was too excited that almost every time she asked if it was the time to go. All morning and all through lunch.
Almost nearly rushed out the door before getting fully clothed for the weather. But you couldn't do anything about it, you loved seeing her excitement.
As you settled down on the bench near by, watching as your daughter rushed towards the slides, as you both awaited the arrival of the boys and their parents.
You took your phone out as you quickly typed out an email and sent it. Before you knew it, there were cheers and screams that pulled your attention towards the boys reuniting with Talia.
You smiled at the sight, but that short lived when a voice made its way to your ears. "Aren't they just cute?"
You looked over, seeing the most beautiful woman that could've sat next to you. She looked at you at no response, smiling ever so gently towards you.
Her hand reached out as she spoke up again. "Sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Wanda. Wanda Maximoff, Tommy's and Billy's mom."
You almost forgot how to speak, but you managed to pull yourself together. "Y/n Y/l/n. Talia's mom."
"Right.. So the other woman is..?" She asked as she slightly narrowed her eyes in curiosity.
You chuckled softly as you knew she meant your sister. "If you mean the redhead, she's my sister. She has been taking care of Talia until recently."
Wanda hummed in acknowledgement. "Well, I'm glad to finally meet you Mrs L/n"
You shook your head. "Please, call me Y/n. I'm not married." Yeah it because you were widowed.
"Well in that case, call me Wanda." She was polite just like you hoped the boys parents would be.
Her eyes dropped to your hand that had a ring but decided against asking. She only just met you, yet the feeling of wanting to know everything about you lingered.
Before you could say anything, Talia rushed over with the boys. "Mommy! Mommy!"
You looked over to check for any injuries. "Yes, darling?"
"There is an ice cream truck. Can we get ice cream?" She begged with those little puppy eyes.
"Isn't it a little cold for ice cream?" You asked but you knew her response.
"Well, we can take them to Tommy's and Billy's house." She came right out with it, putting you in this position of not really know how to get out of it.
"I don't think we should barge into Wanda's house like that." You spoke softly to your daughter, dusting off some leaves that got stuck to her coat.
She pouted a little bit and so did the boys. Wanda jumped into rescue. "How about after school on Monday, we can have ice cream and we watch a movie?"
They beamed at Wanda's words, almost ecstatic at the idea. You smiled at Talia. Her little cute jumps at the thought of spending more time with the boys.
She turned to you as she hugged you. "You are the best mommy in the entire world."
Now you couldn't say no to her, besides this could be a good opportunity to get to know Wanda better. They all ran off to continue their little play date.
"So? are you going to come?" She asked, just to confirm that you were definitely coming.
"Yeah, I don't think I got much to do at the office anyway, so I am free." Your eyes met hers, there was a slight beam of joy at your words.
"Perfect, I will have everything prepared then." She said with a much more happier tone.
You looked at the time on your watch, seeing a message that popped up. You frowned slightly as you took your phone out. "Ah shit.."
You looked up at her, before standing up. Shoving the phone in your pocket. "Look, I hate to cut things short. But my sister doesn't have any transport back home, so I have to go get her."
Wanda smiled in understandment. "I get it, my brother does the same almost all the time."
The slight worry disappeared at her words. She wasn't mad, she was understanding you. She wasn't going to scold you for having to ran away, she was happy to even have met you.
"Thank you." You breathed out before turning and calling Talia over with the boys chasing after her.
"Look kid, we have to go, but we are going to Miss Wanda's house on Monday so you can play with the boys then." You explained, and even though she was a little sad.
Her little hand slipped into yours before she spoke up. "Thank you Miss Wanda for letting Billy and Tommy to play with me."
You watched Wanda's reaction and it almost made your heart beat out of your chest at it. She smiled widely at Talia. "That's alright, I'm glad Tommy and Billy have you as their friend. They only speak about you all the time."
You didn't even know she had such an impact on the boys lives. It was a moment like this that made you feel glad that you moved. Wanda looked up at you with a warm smile.
"Okay, we have to go before your aunt blows up my phone." You had to cut it short even if you didn't want to.
But before yous walked off, Billy and Tommy hugged Talia and muttered a see you soon. Letting her hand reunite with yours as you both made your way back to your car.
After finally finding your sister and coming back home a little while later. Getting to put Talia to sleep and having a breather with your sister.
She was sitting on the counter as she observed you. "So Talia told me about her little play date at the park today."
You hummed as you kept scrolling down your phone, hearing what she was saying yet not paying much attention. Before your sister made another comment.
"Meaning you had the chance to meet Wanda.." She stopped right at the end when your eyes met hers, in a curious look.
"Yeah, so what about it?" You asked, as you grabbed your cup of coffee that you have been sipping on for the past half an hour.
"Well?" She stopped as if you could read her mind on what she wanted you to say. She huffed. "Come on, you can’t tell me that this woman doesn’t have the looks of a goddess."
You rolled your eyes at her words and looked back at your phone again. This wasn’t the conversation you wanted to have.
"You would be crazy to not admit it Y/n." She spoke up again to get your attention.
"Yeah I can admit she’s pretty but you already know my opinion on this subject" You mumbled it out as you kept scrolling, not even paying attention to what you are suppose to be reading.
"Your opinion sucks, you have a chance to find yourself a new partner and you’re stuck with your way." She spoke up but before she could think twice on what she said.
Your eyes shot up at her. "What do you mean I’m stuck in my ways? Valkyrie is dead, Natasha. My wife is dead and I am simply still processing how to live without her."
She sighed at your words. "That’s not what I meant Y/n, I’m just worried about you. It’s been almost a decade…"
"Just leave me be Nat.." You said it without much effort to even wanting to start this discussion. You been avoiding talking about her death as much as you can.
"I'm sorry Y/n but you know it's something Val would've wanted. For you to move on with someone who can make you happier in those dark times." She spoke up before you could move a muscle to run away from this conversation.
"What about what I want? Do you think I wanted to raise a child on my own?" You asked, it was hard to deal with a lot of things. Realising how alone you are with everything was a big deal.
Natasha sighed as she hopped off and walked over to you. Hugging you because she knew how much you hated people looking at you when you were about to cry.
"You're not on your own. You have me. You have Yelena. Mom. You know they would jump at the opportunity to help you." She spoke softly as her hand softly rubbed your back.
You were grateful for all of this. Their constant support, the fact that Natasha was here with you. She contributed to rent and bills however she could.
You pulled away from her, sending a smile and a kiss on the cheek. Before deciding to go into your room. You were tired with everything and if you were honest you had a long week ahead of you.
As Monday rolled around, after school rolled in. Talia was excited for everything that was planned for her and the boys. As you walked over to Wanda's door, your phone rang.
Talia was already banging on the door whilst you answered the phone. Seeing how Wanda peaked out to see you on the phone, before letting your daughter in to see the boys.
You hanged up and with a sad smile, Wanda already knew. "Go, I will take care of her."
You wasn't sure how, but you thanked her before rushing over to the office. Some deadline was needed to be met today otherwise everything that was worked for was going to be trashed.
After long hours you finally managed to get home. You realised that you had Talia to pick up. So, you strolled out of your apartment as you quietly knocked on the smaller redheads door.
She opened the door with a robe around her body. Covering what you guessed was her nightgown. You kept your eyes on her face as a way to show your respect for her.
"Talia is asleep on the couch." She indicated as she let you in, watching as you looked for her little head.
"God, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to drop her on you. It was very last minute needed meeting." You apologised, being extremely tired.
She smiled at your words as she waved it off, and lead you towards her kitchen that was just in the corner. "Don't apologise. The kids had so much fun that it was literally no big deal."
You leaned on the counter with your hip as you watched her. "I own you one. Now I need to get her back into her bed before she wakes up."
She knew if she let you go now, it will be a while til she sees you again. "How about I make you a tea before you go?"
You agreed and the next half an hour, you both spent on finding out things about each other, whilst also exchanging numbers.
"I should head back." You looked down at your cup, that was empty now.
She hummed to acknowledge your words. "Wait, so what company do you work in?"
"Oh you know the main one in the city, the only one with the biggest logo across the building." You answered her back.
"Oh. Why didn't you say? I am the daughter of the owner." She told you, a little shocked at your words.
You raised your brows at her. "What? Really?"
She smirked slightly. "No, but I like that you believed me."
You rolled your eyes playfully, before placing the cup down the sink and making your way to Talia. She was sound asleep, hugging the pillow her head was almost falling from.
You lifted her up and held her close to you as she cuddled into you and slept like nothing. You walked over to the door that Wanda already had a little bit cracked opened.
"I will see you around." You whispered before leaving and making your way to your place. Placing her down in her bed before finally hitting your own pillow and passing out like a baby.
As months flew by, you had gotten closer to Wanda. She was really amazing. Always there whenever you had an issue. Last minute calls and she was always ready to help you out.
That's what you liked about her. There was a load of gratefulness when it came to her. No matter what, you owned her a lot.
Which is the reason why you decided to invite her to a little gathering your friends held. It just felt right to have Wanda come with you as your plus one.
Your sister encouraged you to ask her out and that's what you did. You asked and she agreed to accompany you to this gathering.
It was out of town but Wanda didn't mind. You both had a room secured in the guest room down the basement. There wasn't enough rooms for yous to have separate beds so yous had to make do.
Natasha was taking care of the boys whilst yous were drinking away any worries that were settling in your minds. Your friends were thrilled to see you with a new woman.
An arm candy as they called her. They complimented her left and right, showed respect and appreciation for being by you. Yet she was a little confused to what she was 'by you' for.
You never mentioned your late wife. There was just never the right time, but for your luck no one mentioned anything. You were drunk and so was Wanda.
She was laughing and if you weren't this drunk, you would notice how touchy she was with you. Every laugh that came out of her mouth, her hand would land on your arm.
Even your own hands had their own minds. Somehow finding their way to her lower back. Letting her know you were there. And your friends saw all of it.
Because out of everyone, you and her were the most shitfaced. They were so going to tease you about it later. As the party died down, you decided to go back into you room with Wanda.
Stealing a bottle of wine on the way there, the snickering from both of yous as you both tiptoed to the room down the hall. You opened the bottle and took a sip.
Passing it to Wanda before watching as she took a lot of sips. Letting out a laugh before closing the door. "Save me some."
She pulled her mouth away from the bottle, and it was in that moment where it clicked. Watching as a string of saliva stretched from between the tip of the bottle and her lips.
They looked so kissable. So, the only reasonable idea in this drunk state of mind was to kiss her. So you did. You grabbed her by her hips and pulled her in.
Drunk with Wanda. Your neighbour that was in your arms right now, dropped the bottle of wine onto the floor. The luck yous had was unimaginable. The bottle was a little bit more than half empty as you both hurried to take each other clothes off.
You never acted like this, ever. You were thrilled from knowing how to keep everything under control but this was way past your control. Way past your limit and in this very moment you loved it.
You loved the sounds that were coming out of Wanda’s mouth. The way her eyes sparked and her neediness was evidently marked on you.
You wasn’t sure if you would remember this but you hoped you would. Her skin was soft under your hand as you caressed her curves.
A soft moan left your mouth when her teeth buried themselves inside the side of your neck. Leaving a clear mark as day that she was branding you.
Two drunk adults making a choice that was going to affect yous in some sense. That's what you felt when you woke up in the morning.
Wanda's naked body pressed against you. Her face laying in the crook of your neck whilst she slept peacefully, and for your luck, you remembered every thing you said and did that lead to this.
But you couldn't help but feel safe. The way her soft hands laid on your body keeping you warm in the embrace. You wasn't sure what that meant for the both of you.
Whether this was just sex or this meant a serious commitment on your part. You just woke up after having drunk sex with your neighbour.
The voices outside your room woke Wanda up. But she didn't move, she stayed perfectly still, trying to process if this was real. "I know what you are thinking.."
That caused her to look up, not expecting you to be awake. "How did this happen?"
Her tone was wary of her words, zero movement in her body as she tried to piece last nights event. There was a slight pain appear in your eyes at her question.
"Party finished and we had that extra wine." You recalled the summed up version of last night.
She closed her eyes for a brief moment, not wanting to accept that this is how it has happened. It was like in an instant she remembered how your fingers felt inside her.
She blushed a deep red, causing you to blush as well knowing exactly what she was realising. She looked at you with a shy smile but it was quickly replaced with slight fear when one of your friends knocked and asked to come in.
Both of yous, butt naked holding each other as if yous had done it before. The rush to find clothes was a challenge. Almost tripping over the wine bottle as you chucked your t-shirt on with some shorts.
Opening the door only a little bit and telling them that you would be up in the kitchen soon. Giving yourself and Wanda time to properly get yourself ready and look a little less like mess.
You thought you were able to cover the tracks of any sex but your sister was quick to notice. She opened the door to you and Wanda. Her eyes narrowed at your expression.
You had a shy smile... Suspicious to Natasha. Your hand placement was on her waist... Suspicious to Natasha. But what tied it all together was the hug. The hug and the way Wanda had eyed you with hungry eyes as if she wanted more.
As soon as you pulled away from the hug, Natasha blurted out. "Oh my god? Yous had sex!"
The shock on your faces was priceless, making Wanda look away with more redder cheeks. Before you could say anything to defend yourself.
Billy, Tommy and Talia rushed in. All running to their parents, Talia being happy to see you. You kneeled down to her, placing a soft kiss on her cheek as a way to greet her.
Wanda did the same with her boys, she stood up with a smile at how good of a mother you were to Talia. "Well, I should go. I have to get these kids ready for school tomorrow."
They pouted but they actually liked that place. Talia was there and they got to learn new things. You stood up and opened the door to let them out.
You totally forgot about Natasha observing yous. Wanda's eyes stared back into yours when she turned around. You went for the hug, because for a strange reason you missed her.
You missed having her against you, and that felt so strange to you. "I'll see you around?"
She whispered into your ear the question, sending a certain shiver down your spine. "Definitely.." That's all you managed to get out before you would have to kiss her.
Finally she unglued herself from you. Natasha could tell that Wanda's feelings for you were clear as day. She knew because the way those eyes only had that shine for you.
She cleared her throat, pulling both of your attention. Seeing how Talia and Natasha both had their arms crossed with small smiles. "Right."
You looked back as you shook your head, causing the redhead to let out a soft chuckle. She smiled before turning away and leaving with the boys.
You closed the door and was met with Natasha's smirk. You sighed as you walked over to her. "Do not speak."
She put her hands up in the air but you knew this wouldn't be the end of it. As you caught up with Talia throughout the day and put her to bed.
The second you sat down, Natasha joined you as she waited but seeing how you wasn't speaking, she did it for you. "Okay, what happened?"
You raised your brow at her. "What do you mean?"
She rolled her eyes. "Y/n, I'm not sure when we have gotten so distant but I just want you to rant your feelings out. Tell me what you are feeling and I might be able to help."
You sighed as you leaned on your hand, looking at Natasha. Debating on telling her what's going on in your head right now. "We were drunk."
You saw that she wasn't going to judge you. "I had too much and I went way over my limit. As soon as we gotten to the room. We both just lost it and it happened."
"How does it make you feel?" She asked, her tone was slightly worried. It's not like you never hooked up with women before. But she knew you never had any feelings for them.
You covered your face with your hands. "I don't really know... This one just feels different. It is different because I can't forget it."
You looked at Natasha, your brows narrowed in a worried expression. "I am scared. What if it will feel like I am replacing her? It would ruin everything and Wanda is amazing.. I don't want to hurt her."
Natasha could see how genuine you were. "Look, I can't tell you how to think or to feel but follow your heart. If you feel like giving this a chance then do it. I know what happened with Val was horrible but you can't just cross every potential relationship and tag it with disaster."
You knew she was right, her hand slipped into yours, giving it a tight squeeze. "You won't know what this has in store for you until you have tried it. So, let me take Talia away for the break to mom, and you can sort yourself out with the redhead."
You moved, pulling your sister into a tight embrace. You were always afraid of opening up, because the reaction of that person was more terrifying than actually speaking.
"Okay." You agreed and felt how Natasha's hand was rubbing your back. You relaxed into the hug as you smiled to yourself slightly.
"You don't have to make a decision now. Get to know her more, spend time with her and see if she is actually someone, who could mean the world to you." Natasha advised and you knew she was right.
She was there throughout the whole grieving stages. Anger denial sadness. She was there. Holding your hand and making sure you didn't do anything stupid.
Just like that night. Weeks went by and that was weeks until the break. You were busy ever since you came back and had minimal contact with Wanda.
You denied it whenever you were asked but you were avoiding her at first. Work was demanding as it was closer to the kids break. They wanted everything done, especially since you took those days off that Talia was going to be away.
What made it all real to you, was that Talia noticed Wanda's absence. She noticed that you were sadder. Once playing and having you sit by her watching her.
A question lingered around her head, she turned to you and slightly smiled. Doll in her hand as she faced her body towards you. "Mom.."
You hummed to acknowledge her, she sighed as she looked down at her doll. "Is Wanda coming back or not, like mommy?"
This made you freeze. It was hard to explain to a young child that their other parent isn't going to come back. You grabbed her hand and gestured for her to sit on your lap to which she did.
Playing with her dolls hair, whilst you played with hers. "Wanda...is busy right now and so am I. That's why auntie Natasha is taking you over there for play dates"
Lies. You just were too much of a cowards to do it yourself and speak to Wanda about the two of you. She nodded at your words, looking up at you with those little eyes. "Is she going to replace mommy?"
It almost made you cry, but instead you gave her a small sad smile and shook your head to her question. "Never, no one cold replace mommy. She will always have a special place in your heart."
Your finger lightly touched her chest where her heart was. "You can have more than one mom, each will have a different role to play in your life. Mommy's role finished and when you are older I will tell you everything but right now, enjoy being a kid."
She smiled widely, understanding whatever she could from your words. Hugged you tightly before dropping to her feet and rushing over to her other toys that she swapped with Tommy and Billy for the time being.
Seemingly, Natasha found out that the boys were going to be away with their dad and that side of their family for the time being, and that made you ever more nervous.
Alone, alone with Wanda. The woman who you could still hear moaning your name from that night. You were a real life mess, not knowing how to approach this subject.
Not knowing how to deal with it and you choose to avoid it. You choose to bury yourself into work and ignore that poor woman who was slowly falling for you.
But you had no where out when everything quiet down. When it was just you in the apartment. The silence filling the rooms all around you and the heartbeat of your own anxiety could be heard.
You finally got the balls to do something about it. So, with a deep breath. You closed your door and walked over to Wanda's door.
Taking a deep breath and knocking on the door. The door opened and you were greeted by a tall-ish blonde man. His brow furrowed in confusion at your sight.
"Who are you?" He asked, knowing Wanda never mentioned visitors.
"I'm-" Who were you? The words that wanted to come out were girlfriend but you stopped yourself. "I'm Wanda's neighbour."
Still, that didn't clear things up. "I gathered that, I meant who are you to her?"
"Im.. I'm not sure.." You wanted to give him an answer, which made him frown in confusion.
"Then why you knocking on my sisters door?" He asked, being just protective on his sister. But to you it was a relief it wasn't someone she could be dating.
That's when the green eyed redhead appeared. Standing by his side with an emotionless look. "Oh.. What do you want?"
It did hurt you with the way her tone was directed towards you. You smiled sheepishly. "I came to talk to you."
She crossed her arms, and her brother followed. Both staring you down like some sort of burglar. "Talk then."
"I.. I um. I was hoping it would be the two of us.." You stuttered at first, being caught off guard at how cold she was.
She looked at the blond next to her. She nodded her head and he sent her a smile. "Okay, I will take the boys and head to Vision. He was been wanting to have the boys over for a while."
They both hugged and as you were invited to the kitchen. There you stood, waiting for Pietro and the boys to leave you and Wanda alone. You could feel your heart rate pick up at that thought.
Finally, when it was quiet. Wanda walked in, standing by the door with her arms crossed. As she waited without saying anything. "Okay.. Now that we are alone, I wanted to apologise to you for ignoring you. I promise it was unintentional, work was busy and Talia was getting weirdly sick."
"That doesn't make up for leaving me without any answers or even a short text that you were busy, Y/n" She interjected before you could give any more excuses.
"I'm sorry for that.." You apologised again, hearing a light scoff came out of Wanda's mouth. "Look, you don't understand Wands.."
She narrowed her eyes at you, feeling annoyed now by the way you are dismissing this. "Then make me understand. How can I understand and be there for you if you're not telling me anything."
She was right, but before you could open your mouth. She spoke up again. "What I understand is, we had sex and now you're ghosting me."
How could you forget about that night.. There just was no way, the images that kept you up at night. No amount of self pleasure could make you feel the way she made you feel.
"I know what happened between us-" You started but she interrupted you again.
"Oh do you? Because it seems like you have been avoiding even talking to me about it. I deserve at least a rejection if that's something you didn't want to do."
You sighed, again she was right. Of course she was right and her feelings right now were valid. She was upset and rightfully so. You were a coward, who is really close to losing that girl.
"My wife dead almost 8 years ago." You said out of the blue, causing the words in Wanda's throat to halt. She wasn't expecting that and that was a big shocker to her.
"I moved here to get away from the constant memory of her. Not running away because I dealt with grief and all of those stages. I just needed a fresh start."
"But I guess I didn't expect it to happen so fast. Because I met you, and everything thought I tried to keep away was slowly coming to me." You explained and the redhead for at least once listening.
You looked down at your finger, where that ring used to be. You took it off after knowing what you felt for Wanda. "I am scared, Wanda."
You looked up at her, seeing how her brows were now expressing the sadness. "I am scared to love you. I am scared that if I fall for you, the same fate will happen to me. I just dont want a heartbreak."
Maybe it was selfish of you to only think of your emotions. To worry about your issues and put Wanda in that position but that was a human response to life time of trauma.
"I'm sorry I put you through that worry. I didn't know how to tell you that I was broken, some people aren't in the habit to fix others. I just assumed if you found out, you would leave. Like everyone else." Your body was leaning on the counter, your head hanging low as words spilled from your mouth.
Wanda approached you slowly. Taking your face into her hands as she made you look. Slowly and carefully pulled you into a soft kiss. Making sure you knew you could pull away at any given moment.
Not that you wanted to. You liked the way her lips felt, you couldn't stop thinking about them ever since they brushed against yours. Your hands automatically moved to her hips. Moving your legs apart to pull Wanda in.
It was strange to you. To someone who was afraid of falling in love or doing anything that involved feelings. It was strange to you how Wanda reacted. How her thumbs stroke your cheeks whilst her lips were against yours.
She pulled away slightly, looking into your eyes but her hands stayed on your cheeks. Your eyes searched hers in slight confusion. "Why did you kiss me?"
The whisper that came out of your mouth, like if what you said didn't deserve a comforting. It broke Wanda's heart, she knew the moment her eyes laid on you there was something about you that pulled her in.
"Do I need a reason?" She asked, not really knowing how to word her emotions to you.
"Usually no, but in this case kind of.." You wanted to know, was it pity? Was it because she felt the same. Was it because it felt like it was the right thing to do in that moment?
"You just spilled your heart out to me. I wanted to kiss you not only because I never met anyone as incredible as you. But because in some sense I feel the same as you." She found the best words to describe what was in her heart.
"I am sorry Wanda. I'm good at anything else but trying to confront anyone with my feelings." Even if you were slightly cold towards Natasha whenever it came to a love interest. It was only a precaution.
She smiled as she pulled you into a hug this time. "I wish you came to me but I'm glad you did now."
You buried your face in the crook of her neck. Closing your eyes and taking in her scent along with how calming her breathing was. "You know.. I think I am falling for you..."
The tone that her words came out of her mouth sounded worrying. Like if she would spook you if it was said with more confidence. You didn't want to move from this calming position but at those words you did.
Your hands were on her lower back, aching to be underneath her t-shirt that she was wearing. But before you could say anything, she shook her head. "No. I don't think. I know I am."
Your stomach was doing somersaults and your heart was beating out of your chest at her words. She was in love with you, she fell for you the way you fell for her.
You couldn't contain yourself anymore. Hands slipping past her t-shirt and kissing her like there was no tomorrow. One of her hands moving to your hair, pulling on it slightly when you picked her up and placed her on the counter.
Her legs wrapped around your waist to keep you in place, no thought in her brain until her brows furrowed in worry. Pushing you away gently to look into your eyes.
"Are you- Do you feel the same? I know you said you were scared but I can't sleep with you until I know, otherwise it will feel one sided." She was out of breath and so were you but her flashed cheeks and those dilated pupils made your heart flutter in that tooth rotting love feeling.
You nodded at her question and leaned back in, but she stopped you again. Causing you to frown slightly at the gesture. "I need you to say it, Y/n... I need it."
"I am falling for you and I don't think I can stop myself. Even if I am scared to death about this. I don't want to stop myself if it's you that my heart beats for you again." Those words that spilled out of your mouth did something to Wanda.
She felt herself getting turned on in everyday. She wanted you, she needed you to feel complete right now. She wanted to feel how much you meant to her.
She almost just moaned at hearing those words. Feeling that aching feeling between her legs. If she could she would've thrown herself at you in that moment.
She felt everything at once and now she couldn't stop herself. Her hands on either side of your face. One sliding down to your neck giving it a light squeeze before pulling you in for a desperate kiss.
One kiss that was full of pure need. Pure love that you both wanted to share with each other. One that couldn't be held back. Her tongue forcing itself down your mouth but it wouldn't be much force since you were welcoming.
Maybe to some it was kind of weird how confessing something like that was a turn on. But it was more than just sex. It was making love to each other. Feeling her body burn up against yours and your movements.
She was happy and so were you. After so long you deserved this. She deserves this after her own tragic story. She needed you as much as you needed her.

A thing of beauty I know, Chapter 4: I'm your demon never leaving,
Warnings: Emotionally confused Wednesday? Saw it in Celine's old posts. Stole the "All the ways, lead to you." from her Blade of Miquella.
Previous chapter- 👈
The girl found in the jungle, mutilated and lifeless, had been one of the suspects she herself had placed on her investigation board: Darcy Emerson. Ironic how whoever she suspects being the monster, often is the victim. Now, all she can do is await further evidence. Weems offered assurance that the police would keep her informed of any developments and that they knew Wednesday's skills in these types of situations. But still, Wednesday does not trust them, She always plans to be one step ahead.
"Wednesday, Principal Weems is calling for you. She's asked to see you in her office. It's definitely about Darcy, there are cops there too", Enid informed as she entered their shared room, "And why aren't you picking up my calls?" Wednesday didn't answer, she just got up and left.
And now Wednesday walked through the hall to Weems's office, finally some evidence to develop her investigation. She took out her phone as she might need to take any pictures of the evidence but struggled to open the camera as she wasn't used to this advanced technology, her Polaroid camera had stopped working. Principal Weems looked up as Wednesday entered, Wednesday noticed the new Sheriff there with another cop.
"Miss Addams, please have a seat," Principal Weems gestured to a chair opposite her desk, Wednesday obliged.
"Wednesday is highly skilled at remembering small details about anyone, I am pretty sure she would recognize what you found Sherrif.
"We've found some minor evidence at the scene," the sheriff spoke up "Including this locket. Darcy's roommate has confirmed it didn't belong to her."
Wednesday watched as the officer placed the evidence bag containing the locket on the table before her. Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized the familiar shape. She felt her blood run cold. How... it's in her wardrobe where her important belongings are, the guitar-pick-shaped locket you gave her, even if she broke up with you she kept it close. Sometimes holding it whenever she missed you. How did it get there?
Wednesday couldn't dwell on her thoughts fast as she had to come up with something because obviously, she couldn't tell them it was hers, she already had a "piranha" case from her last school, and the sheriff would doubt her.
"Miss Addams?" the sheriff's voice cut through her reverie, jolting her back to the present. "Do you recognize this locket?"
"I'm afraid I don't recognize it, " Wednesday replied, her voice steady despite the turmoil roiling within her.
Principal Weems regarded her with a curious tilt of her head, "That's rather peculiar, considering your reputation for meticulous observation," she remarked, her tone tinged with skepticism. "Nonetheless, we've reached out to the resident guitarist who might be able to shed some light on the matter. She should be joining us shortly."
Resident guitarist...
"You called me, Miss Weems?" Your voice, tinged with confusion, sent a jolt of shivers through her spine.
As you entered the room, Wednesday felt a surge of panic grips her chest. The last she felt panic like this was when she found out Tyler was the Hyde. But that meant he was the murderer, this time the fingers would be pointed towards her. Her mind raced with apprehension, fearing that you might inadvertently reveal the truth about the locket. She had just lied to the authorities, denying any knowledge of the locket's origin,
As the conversation between you and the sheriff unfolded, Wednesday struggled to focus. She had always been the investigator, the accuser but now, she found herself on the precipice of becoming the main suspect. It was a role she never imagined she would play.
She watched your eyes closely, searching for any sign of recognition or understanding. There was a flicker of something in your gaze perhaps recognition, or maybe just confusion. It was hard to tell amidst the chaos of emotions swirling within her.
"That is a very beautiful locket," you remarked, your voice cutting through the tension in the room. "Unfortunately, they are sold quite often in our concerts. It could be owned by anyone."
Wednesday couldn't help but feel a pang of confusion at your words. Why were you helping her? You knew the truth that the locket belonged to her yet you chose to protect her. It was a gesture of trust that she couldn't quite comprehend.
"Okay, sorry for keeping you both here. You can go now," the Sheriff said, dismissing them.
Without so much as a glance in Wednesday's direction, you turned and made your way out of the room. Wednesday hesitated for a moment, her mind racing with questions and doubts. Did you suspect her? Did you believe she was somehow involved in Darcy's murder?
Wednesday hurried to catch up with you, her heart pounding with anticipation. As she reached your side, she hesitated for a moment before speaking, her voice cautious yet tinged with urgency.
"Y/n," she began, her tone betraying the turmoil swirling within her. "I... I need to ask you something."
You turned to face her, your expression unreadable. "What is it, Wednesday?" you asked, your voice gentle and yet it sounded so guarded, making Wednesday more nervous about what your answer might be. She took a deep breath.
"You knew that was my locket, you gave it to me. So why didn't you tell them the truth? Do you... do you think I had anything to do with what happened to Darcy?" Wednesday blurted out, her words tumbling out in a rush. She couldn't bear the thought of you doubting her, of seeing suspicion cloud your gaze.
"You regarded her for a moment, your eyes searching hers as if trying to decipher the truth hidden within.
"I don't know what to think, Wednesday," you admitted, your voice tinged with uncertainty.
"You can check my mind, read my memories if you don't believe me." Wednesday offered.
"I don't have to Wednesday, We've been together enough for me to know this isn't you, I trust you."
Wednesday felt a mixture of relief and gratitude. Despite the doubts that lingered in the back of her mind, knowing that you believed in her was enough to quell the rising tide of fear within her.
"Thank you," Wednesday murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "I... I appreciate that."
You offered her a reassuring smile and started humming as you walked towards your room. Wednesday stopped in her tracks, her heart fluttering at the familiar sound. It had been so long since she heard you humming like that. Wednesday starts to think, did she really make the choice? Was there any chance she could've changed herself for you? With a heavy sigh, she reluctantly tore herself away and trudged back to her dorm, Enid waiting for her. Her concerned voice broke through her reverie as she entered the room, pulling her back to the present. "Wednesday, are you alright?"
"Go to sleep Enid." Wednesday just took her shoes off and went to bed, Maybe she was just tired, her mind weary from the constant tug-of-war between what she wanted and what she believed she deserved. Or maybe, it was only there, in the realm of slumber, that she could find solace in the imagined embrace of your arms
"Wednesday... stop.. please.." you managed to croak out as Wednesday's hand closed around your throat, lifting your entire body effortlessly. With each passing moment, her grip tightened, squeezing the life from your lungs. Your eyes pleaded for mercy, but they met only the darkness in Wednesday's gaze.
Wednesday's eyes snapped open, and her breath caught in her throat. She found herself in a cold sweat, the echo of your desperate plea ringing in her ears. Gasping for air, she struggled to shake off the terror that clung to her like a suffocating fog. Her room lay silent around her as Enid slept soundly on her side.
She looked at her hands. She could still feel the weight of your body in her hand, the sound of your voice choked with desperation. But why? Why would she ever harm you? She loves...
She sighed, it had to be a nightmare, but why did it feel like one of her visions? She struggled to make sense of this. This must be a nightmare, she would never hurt you, it has to be her own emotions going against her.
Wednesday pushed herself out of bed, her mind already racing with possibilities. She needed answers, and she needed them now.
But how can she get anything now? the crime scene must've been cleared by the police and she now has to find a way to get to the morgue.
"I don't just use my telepathy to chat with people, Wednesday, I can control them, I can drive people to madness, unearth their deepest regrets, their deepest fears. I could destroy them if I wanted to."
No matter how much she tries to get away from you, to keep you out, she always ends up back in the same place: with you. All the ways, lead to you. Next Chapter

Sam's Years P3
Title: Sam's Years Part 3
Words: 1,804
Relations: Sam Winchester X reader.
TW: Sexual hinting.
Prompt:
Sam ran into you years later after you left the hunting life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It had been nearly 11 years since we ran into Sam.
At night, my heart screams at me. It reminds me of the great times we had and the regrets I hold close to my chest. Rory is a young genius, she has dreams of being a doctor and the grades to allow her. She was 12 when she finally figured out Sam was her father. As soon as she figured it out herself I explained it all. She cried for days and I regretted being so honest but she deserves the truth. I often checked on her through the night, finding her hugging the photo of him and me with Dean.
Sam and I were together, perfect for each other. I fell pregnant and couldn't bring myself to tell Sam, I knew as soon as I told him he would quit hunting, he would leave his life behind but just like always I was afraid. I knew I couldn't cope if he had told me he wouldn't leave, that he would leave me so I didn't give him the option. I decided I would do it all on my own, I would let Sam continue hunting while I raised our child, him never knowing.
We had settled in nicely to our new home. We were the perfect neighbours, the perfect addition to the small, family-like village. I always looked for possible monsters, knowing if one were to come around, Sam and Dean might turn up. We were monster-free and a small enough village, out of the way of any main roads. There is no way Sam and Dean could happen upon the town.
Rory's focus stayed on her school work and volunteering at the local doctor's to start understanding the way a doctor works. I am very proud of her and know her intelligence comes from Sam. It breaks and warms my heart at the same time, she seems to be becoming more and more like him every day. I took over the small bakery as ole' man Richards grew ill and couldn't manage it alone.
"Hi, princess," I cheered, the bell above the door grabbing my attention as she walked in, books in hand like usual and Sam's smile.
"Hi, mom. I thought I would come to help clean up so we can go to the movies quicker," She explained a little excitedly as she placed her books on a clean table. I chuckled as I went back to wiping the tables.
"I'm almost done, you okay checking the office is cleared up? Richards is coming in tomorrow so I need to make sure the floors are clear so he doesn't fall again," I explained, she chuckled as she approached. Side hugging me, I kissed the top of her head.
"You don't worry about that, he trips over air," She joked, earning a chuckle from me before she headed to the back.
I popped my head to my music as I played it quietly over the speakers, I continued cleaning tables, putting the chairs up once I was done so it was easier to mop later. The bell jingled behind me showing someone had come in.
"I'm sorry, we're closed," I explained. Flipping my hair back out of my face, before I turned around and saw Sam standing in the doorway. A slight beard graced his cheeks. He looked at me hopefully. I gulped but put a smile on my face. "Hey, I still have some cupcakes one?" I asked, trying to act natural. Maybe this is a coincidence. Maybe he got a flat tyre and happened upon the place. Maybe he is a figment of my imagination. My twisted and degrading imagination.
He said nothing as he slowly approached. My breath hitched as I wondered about a thousand things, does he know? Does he hate me? Did he come here to find us? I gulped as he got closer, I tried acting natural, calm and collected but I've never been able to hide my emotions in my eyes. He stopped arm's length away from me. My smile faltered as he looked heartbroken.
"10 years, 7 months and 4 days." He said simply. I looked at him confused, my mind going blank. "It has been 10 years, 7 months and 4 days since I met our daughters." He went on. My mouth instantly dried. He knows. He's smart I should have figured he knows. I stammered for words, for excuses, for anything. I could deny it, I could tell him I cheated, I could lie through my teeth to anyone but Sam. He licked his lips, the broken-hearted look on his face. I gulped.
"I'm sorry," I sighed, I have to confess. I have to explain everything, I have to find the courage to tell him why I never told him, I have to-
His lips were on mine before another word could escape. He held the back of my neck, his hand on my waist. I was kissing him back before I could even think. My hands found his longer hair, begging to be closer to him. Sam's the last person I have kissed. No kiss could ever heal me after our kiss goodbye. The tears mixed together and my whole body begged me to stay but I didn't and I regret it. Sam seemed to relax into my touch, just like all those years ago when he would melt against my lips, he would smile as he kissed me and he was doing it again.
"Mom?" Rory's voice was confused behind me. I gasped as I pulled away, quickly covering my lips as we looked at her. I opened my mouth to apologise for her witnessing that but she smiled brightly. Her breath quickening. "Dad!" She screamed, running around. I stepped out of her way as Sam opened his arms and she ran into them.
I watched them, tears in my eyes as I quickly realised the injustice I had done to both of them. I kept them both apart because of my fear. Sam seemed to hug her so tightly, that it seemed like he was afraid to let go in case we left again. No more running. He stroked her hair as I watched tears escape his eyes as she softly sobbed into his chest. We're all crying messes. I chuckled as I wiped my eyes. Sam smiled at me before they pulled away from the hug.
"You found us, thank God. We're going to the movies, I already got your ticket and moms buying the popcorn," She explained excitedly, I looked at her confused.
"You planned this?" I asked. Sam smirked as she looked at him. She turned around to face me slowly. She looked happy but guilty.
"I may have put something in the newspapers but I didn't think he'd actually see it so I didn't tell you in case you got your hopes up or made us leave," She explained, wincing slightly like she was afraid I'd be mad. I smiled, shaking my head as I hugged her. She melted into my arms sighing in relief.
"Thank you," I expressed as I kissed the top of her head. I smiled at Sam as he watched but soon joined the hug. The three of us hugged one another happily. Sam kissed my forehead before resting his chin on the top of my head like he used to. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
We decided the bakery could wait. I locked up before we all started walking to the movies, Rory excitedly explaining things in her life he wanted her to know. It seemed like she was giving him a full rundown of her life, to the details of when she lost her baby teeth. Sam walked in between Rory and me, after a while he wrapped his arm over my shoulder as we walked. Rory excitedly skipped ahead still explaining her life. The smile on my face never faded.
"I never stopped loving you," He whispered to me. I blushed as I looked up at him.
"I never stopped loving you either," I whispered back. He chuckled happily, pulling me closer to connect our lips. He pulled away with a bright smile. I grinned as I chuckled.
We got to the movies, already acting like a happy family. Rory wanted to sit in the middle, the popcorn in her lap. I often noticed Sam watching me, and I finally found the courage to look at him. His smile grew as we made eye contact. I chuckled softly as I looked back, paying attention to the movie.
Rory had dismissed herself to go to bed, leaving Sam and me alone in the living room where we had all been sitting on the floor looking at our photos over the years. Sam said nothing as he grabbed my ankles with a little stretch and pulled me to him. I giggled as he smirked at me. Instantly connecting our lips. I smiled against his lips as he lay me back, hovering over me slightly. His tongue graced my lips. I opened my mouth, my tongue greeting his in the middle as we made out. His hand roamed my body as he kissed me. I held the back of his hair and his back, keeping his body close to me.
"I'm making up for lost time," He said against my lips. I giggled as his lips moved from my lips to my neck, instantly finding the place that was sensitive. He's remembered after all these years.
"Maybe we should do this in the living room," I hinted, I felt him smirk before he placed a quick kiss on my neck and pulled away to smile at me.
"You're right, our daughter might see us," He commented and I could tell he was excited to say it. I chuckled as he jumped up and offered me his hand. He pulled me to my feet but he bent down pressing his shoulder to my stomach before he stood up straight, picking me up and carrying me on his shoulder. I giggled, feeling weightless in his arms. "Which way?" He whispered as he walked up the stairs to find my room. I covered my mouth as I giggled.
"End of the hall," I explained. He seemed to pick up speed as he made his way to my room.
"Dad?" I looked up to see Rory in her doorway looking at us confused. Sam turned around to face her. "Good night, I'll see you in the morning,"
"Good night, baby," He added chuckling before heading into my room. He dropped me softly onto my bed. "She's clever. She put headphones on," He explained before his lips found mine again. I chuckled as I kissed him back.
My family is perfect and finally complete.

surfer!reader x lifeguard!robin
robin moves as far away from hawkins as she can - to california. to afford her rent she picks up a lifeguard gig at the local beach, and meets someone she could have only dreamed about in hawkins.
warnings: implied smut, injury, (almost) drowning, unproofread writing Lol
a/n: HI GAY PEOPLE OMG!!! i truly was not expecting so many people to see my last post and all of your likes made my day omg <3 i've been on vacation and thinking about this robin au for days so i knew i had to write it. i hope you like it <3 my request box is always open if you have any ideas of something you want to see me write!!
Tumblr media
robin wasn't quite sure what the breaking point was that forced her out of hawkins, but considering her trauma related to the starcourt mall (and the events that followed) and the constant homophobia, she wasn't surprised.
california seemed ideal. everyone there looked eccentric and cool. robin was hopeful that she would be able to make new friends, even though she had promised steve she would stay in touch.
she packed everything she had into the trunk of her old convertible and drove across the country, feeling terrified to be leaving everything she knew, while simultaneously feeling a sense of freedom that nothing could damper.
she had managed to afford a one-bedroom apartment off the coast that she spent all of her savings on, although it was completely worth it. she was free. like, really free.
despite her sense of freedom, robin needed a job. her savings from scoops ahoy and family video could only get her so far, leading her to start applying everywhere she could find. record shops, libraries, cafés. anywhere that had a bright "we're hiring!" sign in the window.
but no luck.
robin was feeling exasperated trying to find a job. the stress was getting to her quite a bit, and the thought of having to move back home came to mind.
she had the same coping mechanism ever since she was in middle school, and nothing had changed with her big move.
"fuck it," she thought. "i'm going on a walk."
she threw on her converse and a light hoodie (it got cool at night, she remembered), and stepped outside the apartment.
as dusk fell over california, robin's walk led her to the most beautiful beach she had ever seen, albeit one of the only ones. she was from indiana, after all.
the waves were crashing quietly yet so loudly at the same time, and robin found herself mesmerized by the sound.
she scanned the beach, realizing she was one of the few individuals left. a young couple and their dog and an older gentleman walking by himself were the only other inhabitants of the beach at that hour.
she quickly forgot about her solitude when her eyes landed on a "lifeguards wanted" sign hanging on the back of one of the many lifeguard chairs.
bingo.
lifeguard training was much easier than robin had anticipated. she found out through her week long excursion that she was a much better swimmer than she'd imagined, and that it seemed like the town she was living in would hire just about anyone as a lifeguard. it was truly lucky.
admittedly, she was nervous. she didn't know if she'd actually be capable of saving someone's life in any capacity. at the same time, however, she was ready to try.
the first several days of being a lifeguard went off without a hitch, albeit a bit of boredom. it wasn't exactly the most fun job, getting nasty sunburns and staring off into the ocean while listening to screaming little kids.
that was, until, she noticed a young woman running towards the water with a surfboard, her salty waves blowing in the wind.
"holy shit," robin thought.
robin was absolutely fixated. she couldn't keep her eyes off the mysterious surfer, watching in awe as she caught countless waves and rode them back to the surface of the sand.
robin took note of the way the surfer's bodysuit hugged her curves in all the right places. she had to keep herself from drooling and focus on the fact that she had to potentially keep a beach full of people alive.
but every day, the surfer was there. the same time every afternoon with her surfboard. robin couldn't avoid her. so she stared, and stared, and stared...
robin quickly started looking forward to heading to work, knowing she would get to see the hottest girl she had ever seen, in a skin-tight body suit, no less.
although many days came and went without robin having to make any saves, she knew she would eventually have to put her training to use, and she was right.
the beach was practically completely empty, with the local news warning of the roughness of the tide and the danger of swimming in the ocean.
nonetheless, the mysterious surfer was still effortlessly catching each wave as she did every day.
robin watched closely, seeing the ways the surfer climbed up onto her board and balanced herself so perfectly.
she had never wanted to learn to surf so badly.
while robin continued to gawk, she noticed that the surfer was losing her footing as the waves got rougher. she struggled to get back onto her board and stand up without wiping out.
robin knew in her heart that this was bad. really bad.
as she continued to watch, she witnessed the wavy haired surfer get hit with a wave, knocking her below the surface of the water. her board emerged, floating without the beautiful girl on top of it.
without thinking, robin sprung into action. grabbing her gear, she dove headfirst into the ocean and swam as fast as humanly possible. she was pumped full of enough adrenaline to not feel tired, despite this being the most intense workout of her life.
reaching the spot the young woman had fallen, robin finally sees her emerge from underneath the water, struggling to catch her breath. robin instinctively grabs her and lifts her up, holding her high above the surface.
"hey, hey, it's okay. i got you. you're safe," robin coos, watching as the surfer's face starts to gain color again.
the surfer coughs, trying to regain her strength.
"well, that fuckin' hurt," the surfer mutters, letting out a dry laugh. her accent is so undoubtedly californian.
"holy shit. i'm glad you're okay. you had me scared there," robin utters, suddenly becoming very nervous with the beautiful sight in front of her.
"isn't it, like, your job to see this stuff happen?"
"well, yeah, but it never has actually happened before."
"so i'm your first save, huh?"
"i guess you could say that, although you kinda saved yourself."
the still unknown surfer laughs quietly.
"i'm y/n."
"robin. we should probably get out of this water now."
"yeah, i think so. although i can't believe it calmed down enough for us to swim after i almost died."
the pair both chuckle at that.
robin and y/n finally swim to shore, robin quickly grabbing a towel and throwing it to y/n, who is still shivering.
in a moment of bravery, robin decides to try to get closer to y/n's freezing frame.
"do you want to go back to my apartment to warm up? it's like, a block from here," she asks, taking in y/n's face up close. it's covered in freckles and a light tan from the sun.
"that would be great, actually," y/n responds. "i think i might have hypothermia."
"okay, let's not be dramatic here," robin laughs, beckoning the girl to follow her.
as the two women enter the apartment, y/n sighs with relief, feeling the warm air of robin's new home.
"it's so nice in here," she compliments.
robin simply smiles, taking in the sight in front of her. y/n's wet hair is thrown into a bun, and her cheeks are newly rosy after being blue for quite some time after being in the water.
"let's get you something warm to wear, okay? i don't want you to actually get hypothermia," robin flirts.
"yeah, that would suck a lot," y/n responds, gently chuckling at robin's jest.
robin leads y/n to her bedroom where she lends her some warm clothes to change into. she begins to leave the room, but as she does, y/n rips off her bodysuit, revealing a matching pink bra and underwear set.
robin knows she shouldn't stare, but she can't help herself. she's in a trance, staring at y/n from the doorway.
before she can leave, y/n turns around.
"like what you see, huh robbie?"
did she just... call her robbie?
completely in shock, robin just nods. she can't manage to respond verbally.
y/n doesn't feel cold anymore. her body is full of heat now that she had caught the lifeguard watching her change.
she approaches robin, her hands quickly finding her waist and pulling her closer.
before either of them know it, their lips are clashing, and they collapse on the bed.
"you saving my life today was pretty cool," y/n mutters. "but you being so fucking hot is a huge bonus."
a/n: should i do a part 2 to this this was so fun to write

For me, it is no problem hating Chloe and hating what she did in S3 before, but if you want to discredit her + mindlessly condoning Marinette's mistakes in the story and not being able to think/hate the same thing + following Thomas, I can only say that it's best not to focus on me either, I hate moron... I will not say how the previous behavior, S5 bullying episode all the ooc do not show me to talk about it(only this), I only know that Thomas has problems in shaping the plot, can you let go of the character, there are some Chloe fans, I hope you will not always indulge Chloe because of unfair treatment when you can not see what she did before, ending.
After all, whether it is psychology, or political perspective, or ideological height, or the plot he writes is not objective, or his attitude toward diversity, or his treatment of other people's opinions, in fact, Thomas is not worthy of creation.
Maybe he is very imaginative, I do not deny that, maybe he also has talent, but he is arrogant and arrogant, and unwilling to progress, I do not understand why some people follow him, he considers himself as a god, you worship him and do not doubt him to create a cult... ?
I don't hate people for no reason, and I don't need Chloe to be a good person, but I want it to at least make sense in all kinds of portraying. Wouldn't it be ridiculous to blame Chloe for the mistakes made by Marinette, the perfect "love brain" molded by Thomas's stereotypical bias against women?
Not to mention that Chloe will not bully Marinette, I can only say that Chloe's level of thinking is not enough for her to target and think of these vicious tricks, not to mention that Marinette's character is not holy kind, so it is impossible for her to get along with Kim without any problem (S1). Even her ability to be angry at Lila's lying level and her parents' willingness to come forward when it came to Lila, and the fact that Socqueline doesn't appear in photos of old school friends of Marinette's, is Marinette "alone"and"hurt"?
At least I used to like Marinette, but even when I analyzed it carefully, I couldn't see the saintly goodness of certain fanfic&fanart. She's just a very normal, healthy little girl with a lot of taste, and I can't possibly approve of all the character building in that episode anyway.
Of course, the plot collapse started in S3 when Thomas gradually took control of the plot, and while it's not his fault for the characters alone, he can even see from his own subjective design of the old canon that he is actually a potential misogynist. Although each generation of the old canon from the perspective of official commercialization of some cultural understanding and character understanding is too limited, so there are shortcomings.
(You could say Adrien's cowardice is shaped by women, Thomas, but I'll leave it at that. Fans choose.)
As for Thomas's political attitude, not to mention others, he supports independence in a certain city in China. I really feel that one day he will also let Marinette, his "daughter" and body, support him. Isn't Marinette the body he uses as his speaking body? Oh, so does Zoe, although I pity her for being born like this, But even if some fans protect Zoe, if zoe is really loved, she will not be designed to be an illegitimate child or even a "substitute" role (You fans better not come to steal chloe's old canon, or you will make more inspiration for jokes and sarcasm to me, although your dear Thomas will probably distort the truth to put Zoe in charge one day, but don't come to me, I'm not gonna listen to you kiss Thomas.)
