Once, during the era while sarumi are both still in Homra, Yata's leg gets injured during a mission and he can't walk. Saruhiko tries helping him up, but he doesn't really have the strength to do so. They're on a time crunch because the strains are after them or something, and it ends up being Mikoto who helps carrying Yata to safety. Of course, Yata is all heart eyed and "Mikoto-san is so cool!!" About the situation, not noticing how disheartened Saruhiko feels about it all. What he does notice is how, a day after that, Saruhiko starts putting in work to... eat healthy??? And exercise ???? Yata is so, so confused with what's going on, but he won't complain.
(Oh, and maybe years later after they've fought and then reconciled, Yata brings up that one period of life where Saru seemed willing to exercise. Like wow what was that about, and saruhiko has no idea how to break it to him that he just wanted to be strong enough to carry misaki like mikoto could.)
Fushimi has never seriously wanted to be toned in his life, until this very moment XD Imagine Fushimi and Yata are on some Homra mission, working as the vanguard. Yata’s all hyped up as usual and just barrels right into the bad guys’ hideout, yelling that Homra is here to teach them a lesson and all that. Fushimi just clicks his tongue irritably and follows, grumbling that they were supposed to have a plan. Yata laughs and says this is fine, they can take these guys — and then is promptly knocked over a railing and falls like one story down. Fushimi quickly makes his way down the stairs to Yata’s side and Yata’s insisting that he’s fine, except his ankle doesn’t seem to want to hold him. They’re about to be surrounded when the rest of Homra makes an appearance, Mikoto burning everything around them.
The bad guys start to scatter but then they can hear like police sirens in the distance. Kusnaagi suggests they get out of here before things become inconvenient and starts to round up the rest of the guys. Yata tries to get to his feet but he can’t, Fushimi throws Yata’s arm around his shoulder while complaining about what a pain Yata’s being. The problem is that even like this Fushimi can barely pull Yata forward, struggling under his weight. Kusanagi spots them struggling and says ‘Mikoto, Mikoto takes one look and just grabs Yata bodily and carries him. If anyone else had done this Yata would have been mortified but of course since it’s Mikoto Yata is so happy, all ‘Mikoto-san is so cool’ and completely unaware of Fushimi quietly glowering behind him.
So Yata has to be off his feet for a while and imagine that puts Fushimi in charge of cooking for them, Yata’s like it’s okay you can order takeout. But instead Fushimi pulls up some recipes on his PDA and brings Yata some really healthy looking vegetable dish. Yata is amazed and also maybe a little worried, like do you feel okay Saruhiko do you need to lie down. Fushimi looks away and mutters that he just felt like eating right, Yata figures don’t look a gift horse in the mouth and decides to be thankful that Fushimi is eating vegetables (and then he takes a bite of his meal and almost chokes because it’s so bland, like Saruhiko please can we talk about the existence of spices). Afterward Fushimi leaves for a while saying he needs to ‘train,’ Yata can’t believe Saruhiko is being so proactive. Fushimi returns looking all sweaty and miserable and even paler than normal and Yata asks if he’s okay, Fushimi snaps that he’s fine. Later he’s sitting on his bunk looking at his skinny twig arms with an unsatisfied expression, clicking his tongue quietly.
This probably lasts all of a few days before Fushimi can’t take it anymore, he can’t handle all this healthy shit he wants meat and chips and cola. Yata kinda forgets about the whole thing but then imagine post-ROK Yata is trying to cajole Fushimi into eating vegetables and mentions weren’t you trying to eat healthy that one time anyway. Fushimi evades, saying he doesn’t know what Yata’s talking about and Yata wonders if Fushimi had a super high fever at the time and that’s why. Fushimi shrugs and says maybe, looking at Yata for a moment before grabbing him by the collar and picking him up. Yata’s all what the fuck put me down and Fushimi just gives this little ‘heh’ as he sets Yata back down. Yata’s all what was that about and Fushimi says nothing, scraping the vegetables off his plate and onto Yata’s.

31st Oct. Last Day of the Month
I woke up early this morning so I can cruise down to Fushimi Inari Shrine and complete the 2 hour hike. I wanted to do this last time but again, not enough time. I wear my active wear today because it’s going to be huge. I’m ready for this!
Jump on ya bike, and I think it’s going to take about an hour to get there… I set off and I’m already hungry. A coffee and banana just doesn’t cut it. Stop at 7/11 for sushi break, oishii!!
I make it to around Kyoto Station area and see a 2nd street, hmmm so tempted but maybe on the way back! About 5 minutes down the road there’s another one, it’s a sign and I must go into this glorious op shop! I have a look around and it’s all pretty spenny. There’s a pair of shoe for about $400 AUD. Wow that is huge! The cheapest thing I found was about $20. Nah i cant be bothered, I need a bargin in my life. Miho sent me an email yesterday with some 2nd hand shops near my accommodation so I’m really keen to check it out, maybe tomorrow.
It takes about 2 hours to get to the shrine! Not exactly what I expected haha, I’m already tired. I walk in and there’s soooo many people! If there’s one thing I’ve learnt while being in Japan, it’s that I absolutely hate big groups of people. Who would’ve thought!? It stresses me out so much and I tend to be a fast walker so get stuck behind a lot of people. I don’t know how the fuck people dawdle all the time.. it must take them 3 times as long to get to places! I head up the passageway and through the red structures of Fushimi Inari Shrine (the most popular of Inari because it sits at the base of the mountain). It truly is amazing but it’s so loud and everyone has forgotten how to walk. If 1 person stops for a photo, then we all have to stop apparently. I wonder how many photos I photo bombed!! I’m sick of it! Let me get higher up where none of you fools want to climb!
Finally bliss. The people are slowly dying off because I am climbing higher and higher. There’s still a few around and we are all just as happy to not see so many people. This is what I came to see!! I reach a section where there is a beautiful view of the whole of Kyoto! Amazing! I carry on and jeez I’m working up a sweat. I haven’t done this much exercise since Adelaide, this is killing me… No-one is overtaking me so I think I’m going really fast. Stoked on efficiency. I reach the top and wonder through the shrines. They’re incredible. At the very top I notice 3 candles burning and next to it a huge, scary spider staring into my soul. If you think Aussie spiders are scary you need to look at this… it was black with yellow stripes and red on it. I wonder if it’s deadly? I buy myself 2 postcards from the store as a memoir. There are many shrines as you walk up the mountain, and at each shrine there is a store I couldn’t even begin to imagine walking that much of an incline to get to work every day! I guess we have it pretty lucky in a ski town where we only have to walk 20 minutes.
I head down and I am charging down. I can hear the muscles in my legs cry for help haha. I need coffee. Real coffee. There is a cafe almost near the bottom which I remember from last time. It is owned by an English man and they have a real coffee machine there! The excitement is killing me! None of this automatic bullshit! I order a cappuccino and a chicken, hummus sanga. Delicious and the coffee was like home.
At the bottom of the shrine there is a street market full of food stalls. Just a quick look of everything and I order some pork dumplings! Delicious, yum! Quick Google of where I want to go next. Maybe the Nanzen-ji temple.
On my way I get a little lost,I reach a dead buuuut pretty sure there’s supposed to be a road here not a train track!! Thank God I have the electric assist on my bike! I arrive at the base of Jojuin temple. The streets around here are pedestrians only and they are lined with souvenir, food, chopstick and many more shops. Lots of people again… I hate it and I’m leaving! I don’t even go in the temple because I’m so overwhelmed. I went there last year though so I don’t feel too bad. I was there with my mum and dad and we were lucky enough to see the most amazing performance of a dragon festival. It was truly incredible.
I find my bike and make my way up to Nanzenji temple. I have to make my way through a massive group of school kids, there’s maybe 100 of 10 year old kids. They were very cute and every now and then one of them would shout out HELLO! Haha bless, they must’ve just learned that in school. In amongst this chaos I take the wrong turn. The sign back where the school kids were said 300m and I have done maybe 1km since then. I take the next right towards the mountains and hope for the best. I happen to stumble across a temple named Eikando Zenrin-ji. At first I was a sceptic because it cost a little more to enter than other ones I have visited. I walk in and I am speechless. The colours of the trees are incredible. I take my shoes off and walk in the temple. First is a Zen garden which then leads you in a beautifully unique, wooden walk way. As I am walking I can hear someone singing. It sounds like a ceremony is in progress, it’s getting louder. I walk through the passage way and around a beautifully structured building. The doors are open and tourists are welcome to come in and watch the ceremony take place. This man’s voice is incredible! He manages to make a tone that I can’t even begin to describe. I sit and watch for a while and as it’s wrapping up I walk out and keep following the passage. The next building along had amazing art work on the wooden fixtures outside. I’ll put a photo up. So bright and colourful! Make me happy looking at it. The next along the passage are some stairs. They are very steep and I can see some elderly people struggle with them. I climb up and the view is amazing! I can see parts of Kyoto with a temple in the foreground. Lovely. After the temple I explore the garden. It truly is amazing, the colours are so vibrant. Some trees are even a very golden yellow. Everyone is getting a photo in front of one particular one so I give it a miss. There’s a restaurant that overlooks the lake and there’s an island in the lake connected by a bridge. Imagine living and owning this garden! Autumn is definitely the right time of year to come!
After leaving Eikando Zenrin-ji absolutely amazed, I make my way down to the Nanzen-ji temple. First stop is the Zen garden which was a highlight of the last trip. Still amazing, I sit alone with my thoughts for a while. The temple itself was great as well, it showed different parts of a home with many unique art works within the walls, gold being the primary colour. It has a rock garden too, I wonder if the rocks were there originally or if someone moved them? Their shape is so defined and different, someone must’ve sourced them from the mountains. The whole place looks so different in autumn. I was here last at the end of winter/beginning of spring which meant no leaves and barely any flowering (did see some cherry blossoms though which was incredible)!
I am bloody exhausted. It feels like I’ve done so much exercise today and my butt is so sore from the bicycle. Back home for me. It take ages making my way across the city and trying to dodge so people. I take the longest shower in the world because I have deserved it!! I’ll even try not to pass out of the floor. Then the bloody water turns freezing cold ahhhh! With the shower coins you only get a certain amount of litres to use and then it shuts the hot water off… brilliant! I’m not too worried though because unfortunately I’m used to Nissen showers in Falls Creek and they are so bipolar!!
Considering going out for dinner but I think my legs have stopped working all together. Shit I’m not going anywhere i am so dead!! Noodles and chuhai, hai! Night!
Ps. I hope my body can function tomorrow!

If you had only one city to visit during your Japan stay, make it Kyoto. No, not Tokyo in spite of all its awesome skyscrapers and technology, not Osaka in spite of its nightlife and streets and definitely not Nara in spite of its cute deers. Well, Hokkaido is another story. I haven’t been to that place either.
Kyoto is my most favorite part in Japan. It’s really a must see tourist spot! If you are short on time just scroll down through the pictures and you will know why. These pictures won’t suffice to show you how beautiful Kyoto is. From temples to old Japan street to places and more, they are all beautiful. I wanted to try Ryokan but it was already fullybooked plus it won’t fit our schedule.
We only have one day to explore Kyoto. The agency feared we won’t be able to visit all the places we have in our itinerary but I insisted.
  First Stop: Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The walk from the parking lot to the grove was too long. It was tempting to ride the “kalesa” version of Japanese except theirs are pulled by men. But as you walk through this bamboo grove, you are shaded by the shoots that cast a shadow all through your path. This kind of feels out worldly and eerily serene. The cool breeze washed away your weariness. But then, there come the crowds and it’s not so magical anymore. But nevertheless, its still sits on top of my list which has so many amazing places.
Tumblr media
Kyoto has a lot of Geishas around so don’t be surprised if you bump into, not one, but at least 10 of them. Oh, they’re not real geishas. These are normal Japanese ladies who have made a day of it and dressed up in traditional wear and pose with their friends. Feel free to ask for a photo since they are very friendly. You’ll see tourists wearing kimono/yukata every corner of Kyoto.
Look at my little brother surrounded by Geishas.
Next: Kinakakuji Temple (Golden Gate Pavilion)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Golden Gate Pavilion sits on top of a pond and shines for all to be seen. It was actually burned twice already during a civil war (Onin war) in Kyoto. The structure that lay in front of us was rebuilt and restored version.
We left Jaden at the bus because the heat of sun is irritating him. It was too tiring for him to travel in the heat of the sun. The ticket to the temple is a lucky charm. We gave ours to mom because she missed the tour because she volunteered to look after Jaden.
  Next: Higashiyama District
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tourist would go to Gion District but I prefer the streets of Higashiyama – Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka, a pair of gently sloping lanes that lead down from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. We divided the group into three. The others went to Sannen-zaka, we went to Ninen-zaka because it was really crowed at Sannen-zaka. My parents stayed with Jaden at the bus.
Going to Ninen-zaka was the best decision. Less crowd and the streets are lined with beautifully restored traditional shophouses. You could almost imagine what Kyoto looked like before modernity descended in full force. You’ll find plenty of restaurants and teahouses to refresh yourself as you explore. I can’t stop taking photos but we only had 20 minutes to roam around.
Tumblr media
Would you believe this is Kyoto’s Starbucks? It is! I couldn’t believe it first. It is the first coffee outlet in the world to have tatami floors in a Japanese-style house. The second floor will feature three rooms with tatami, or straw matting, traditionally used as a floor covering in Japanese home. You have to take off your shoes if you want to drink your coffee upstairs. But but but! We only had the chance to buy Starbucks Mug and Iced Tea. The downside of a hectic tour. You won’t get the chance to spend more time each place.
Lastly: Fushimi Inari Shrine
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tourists travel all the way to Japan to see the Fushimi Inari Shrine. Though, I don’t have any doubts because the pictures you see in the internet do not give justice to how captivating it is. It actually looks in person. Climbing to see this was actually very good exercise. However, it wasn’t so tiring given the cool weather. Also, we’re short in time. It’s getting dark when we arrived.
Japan 2017 – Kyoto If you had only one city to visit during your Japan stay, make it Kyoto. No, not Tokyo in spite of all its awesome skyscrapers and technology, not Osaka in spite of its nightlife and streets and definitely not Nara in spite of its cute deers.

What kind of therapeutic activity would Saruhiko's psychiatrist recommend for him to do, besides exercise? I'd like to know of there was something fun he could do :3
Imagine Fushimi’s poor therapist trying to recommend different healthy activities for him to do and he keeps trying to refuse all of them because they sound like a pain XD Like post-ROK Munakata makes Fushimi start seeing a regular therapist so he can actually work through some of his issues finally instead of burying them and the therapist pretty much deserves a raise because Fushimi is incredibly difficult to work with. The first time the therapist suggests exercising as a way of working out stress and bad feelings Fushimi just curls his lip and complains that he doesn’t have time for that, and anyway he gets enough exercise as it is through his job (the therapist looks him up and down, taking in his skinny unhealthy body, and is like ‘…I’m sure you do’). I imagine the therapist would want to give him options that he’ll actually enjoy but that’s difficult because, y’know, Fushimi doesn’t enjoy anything.
I remember there was a previous ask about Fushimi being artistic and I like the idea that the therapist recommends drawing, maybe initially they suggest writing down his feelings and Fushimi doesn’t like that so drawing is suggested as an alternative. Fushimi grumbles that he doesn’t draw and the therapist says it doesn’t have to be good drawings, just draw whatever comes to mind. Fushimi scoffs but does give it a try, imagine him with like some colored pens and a notepad in his pockets at all times and sometimes when he’s feeling poorly he just pulls it out and starts drawing. I imagine him not really intending to illustrate his feelings at all but doing it unintentionally, like he draws these different loops of color and sometimes when he’s in a bad space it becomes spiky and red or with colored blocks slashed apart by black lines. The therapist doesn’t analyze these, at least not initially, because Fushimi doesn’t want to be psychoanalyzed that way, but does praise this as a way of letting off steam. I also like the idea that exercise is still recommended but they need a way that Fushimi will actually do, which is how target practice with throwing knives becomes a therapeutic activity for him. Fushimi doesn’t like things that leave him with too much room to think, like yoga or meditation, but throwing knives at targets and pretending those targets are whichever coworker annoyed him the most that day is surprisingly good for his mental health.

A skinny kid like Fushimi exercising in Homra is hilarious but can you imagine what his first couple of training sessions in Scepter 4 were like? I know they do kendo and all but they're probably also got running and obstacle course like things going on like the military. So picture 16(turning 17) year old Fushimi suffering through this.
I imagine Fushimi probably skipped out on a lot of the S4 training sessions for this reason, I can just see him taking one look at the training grounds and noping right out of there. It’s mentioned that his style of swordplay is different from the rest of the squad (and you can see from his fight with Yata in S1, he’s much more wild with his sword than the more regimented alphabet squad are) and in Side Blue we notably don’t see him practicing with everyone else in any of the training scenes. Since he’s technically Intelligence at that point it would make sense, but he does have a sword and I can’t imagine Munakata not expecting him to learn how to use it. I assume a lot of Fushimi’s training was done solo or at best one-on-one with Munakata or Awashima, rather than practicing with the combat troops.
That said, I could also see Munakata deciding that Fushimi needs to work on his stamina and suggesting he try some of the regular training regimen. Fushimi has issues with it right from the start, like the combat troops are probably expected to wake up early and Fushimi is just like ‘fuck that’ and sleeps in (because he was up past midnight working the night before). When he finally drags himself to the training ground everyone else has been working for hours and are sweating, Fushimi looks at everyone running around and exercising and just grimaces. Munakata greets him pleasantly and suggests he start with a run around the training ground, Fushimi gets maybe halfway around before he needs a drink and a rest in the shade. If he has to do an obstacle course I imagine him thinking his way around it, like he’s not going to try and run up that sheer wall he’s going to throw some knives into it for handholds and get up that way. If there’s sparring afterward Fushimi sticks around long enough to knock out some of the weaker members and then dips when no one’s looking, when Munakata mentions they missed his presence afterward Fushimi just clicks his tongue and says it was worthless training anyway.

Munakata organizes a bonding experience between s4 and Homra post-rok since they're trying to get along now. They did fun activities at first but in the end it's topped off with couple skydiving as some kind of trust exercise. Each person gets a "buddy" from the other clan and since Anna can't go she's left on the ground with Awashima which meant Munakata had to pair up with Kusanagi (SaruMi are together of course). They weren't told about it until they're on the plane so imagine the chaos.
Oh. Oh dear D: Imagine all the previous stuff leading up to this was like actually normal activities, like they all went to an amusement park or a festival or something and S4 are so impressed that Munakata finally decided to let them do something fun. At first they’re just waiting for the other shoe to drop but then they think well, maybe now that the other clans are involved Captain has decided to tone down their bonding activities….and that’s when he leads them all to the landing pad where the planes are waiting for fun skydiving activities. Munakata explains that in order to help the different clans work together better he thought a ‘trust dive’ would be entertaining, everyone gets to do a tandem sky dive with someone from the other clan.
The alphabet boys can already see this is going to be bad, imagine the Homra alphabet are like what is wrong with your King while S4 are just like thank goodness he’s letting us use parachutes. Fushimi and Yata are paired together and Kusanagi is already concerned that they’re both going to die because Fushimi keeps teasing Yata about are you sure you fit the height requirement for this jump and Yata keeps messing up his gear by trying to punch Fushimi in the stomach. Kusanagi sighs and thinks well at least he’ll be paired with Awashima, who will take this seriously, but then he realizes that Awashima is staying on the ground with Anna. He wonders who his partner will be, which is when Munakata walks up to him all it seems we have been paired together.
Of course this goes as well as can be expected, they’re both being very polite to each other while also simultaneously being very rude. I imagine Munakata trying to tell Kusanagi the ‘correct’ way to do this and Kusanagi disagrees because he does actually know how skydiving works with a parachute, something he’s aware Munakata does not have much experience with. They can’t agree on when to jump too, Munakata feels they should go first to set an example but Kusanagi prefers to go last so he can keep an eye on everyone else. Munakata notes that it truly is just like Kusanagi to stand by and watch as others do what they want, Kusanagi says it’s very like Munakata to assume everyone else wants to follow his example. Meanwhile by this point even Fushimi and Yata are looking at the two of them like are you guys gonna be okay should we switch out for safety.

More of goto terrorize s4 with his cursed items plz like goto get this cursed DVD happily talking to hidaka about it munakata heard them and suggested for all special squad to watch it together after that weird stuff started to happen and now hidaka is camping in a temple
In which Munakata inadvertently sentences the entire squad to being killed by a creepy DVD in seven days XD Imagine Gotou is doing his usual shopping at weird antique stores when he's offered the DVD, like he's buying some ancient cursed relic and the shopkeeper mentions that if Gotou likes cursed things that DVD is the most cursed thing in the shop. Gotou isn't really interested because he prefers older cursed artifacts but the shopkeeper is very insistent that he buy the DVD and watch it as soon as possible. Gotou buys it just because the shopkeeper is so intense though he doesn't really think about it much. When he gets back to S4 Hidaka's all nervous seeing the new statue but then he sees the DVD. Gotou says it's supposed to be a special DVD and Hidaka lowers his voice all conspiratorial as he asks if it's a 'special special' DVD. Gotou serenely says it is very special and Hidaka grins all cool we can watch it later. That's when Munakata walks up behind them wondering if Gotou purchased such a special thing perhaps they should all watch it together.
Hidaka's of course freaking out, assuming that Munakata just suggested they all watch a porn DVD. Meanwhile Munakata gathers the squad together to have a movie night with popcorn and drinks, even Fushimi gets dragged in muttering that whoever's idea this was is going to get stabbed. Hidaka's still trying to get Munakata to stop, so embarrassed at what they're about to see, until Munakata puts the DVD in and it's just like some abandoned farmhouse. Hidaka heaves a sigh of relief, like well at least it isn't porn, which is when Gotou's like why would you think that of course it isn't porn it's just cursed. There's this sudden silence as the rest of the alphabet squad and Fushimi all stare at him, meanwhile Munakata is calmly watching the movie and eating popcorn. Onscreen a bunch of creepy things start appearing and the squad all exchange worried glances.
Hidaka immediately dives to turn the movie off and thinks well it should be safe since we didn't watch the whole thing right. Except now weird things keep happening, like Hidaka goes to deliver paperwork and almost gets electrocuted by a malfunctioning copier. Later Akiyama and Benzai are walking down the staircase when the chandelier comes loose and only their quick thinking with their powers saves them from being hurt or killed. Hidaka starts worrying that the DVD is trying to kill them, behind him Fushimi grumbles that he won't let the DVD beat him to it if Hidaka makes them sit through another bonding exercise. As it gets closer to seven days the alphabet squad start getting more and more worried, all while Munakata seems to be completely oblivious to the multiple times he's escaped death. The squad end up holing up inside a shrine for the rest of the week, when they come back to S4 I imagine Munakata greeting everyone and wondering where they've been, he just met the most interesting little girl who crawled out of the television.

Mission requiring Kuroh to be at Scepter 4 for a month, and in the meantime he is staying with Fushimi. Cue the two working together and Kuroh trying to take care of Fushimi.
Kuroh just walking into Fushimi's dorm room and having a very polite version of the 'damn, bitch you live like this?' reaction. Kuroh would be just completely scandalized by Fushimi's...everything, like imagine the first time he sees Fushimi 'eat breakfast' (meaning he sucks down a black coffee and eats a Caloriemate). Say post-ROK the Red, Blue and Silver clans have all been working together to help keep the Strain situation in line, S4 obviously has been taking on the bulk of the work but Homra helps out as best they can. Hakumaitou can't do quite as much since they have school and such but Kuroh does wish to be of use if needed, he feels like they should do their part as well in keeping the peace. Maybe as it happens both Munakata and Awashima are called away from S4 for government duties right when there's some big Strain issue happening and Munakata requests Kuroh come and work as a partner with Fushimi, Munakata is well aware that Fushimi will just overwork himself and do everything on his own if someone's not there to keep him in line. Kuroh finds it an odd request, probably initially misunderstanding and assuming he's being asked because Fushimi seems so lazy and apathetic about everything he probably doesn't do any work at all if someone's not there to watch him.
Kuroh soon realizes that he's misunderstood entirely when he realizes that Fushimi actually works too much, and will skip over things like eating and sleeping if someone's not around to watch him. After observing Fushimi's activities for a day or so Kuroh comes to the conclusion that this man is in fact even worse than Shiro or Neko ever was, the Blue King must have requested this of him because Fushimi needs a caretaker who can watch him and be certain that he doesn't do any further harm to his own health. Naturally Kuroh takes this very seriously, like imagine him sitting there all determined to make Fushimi into someone healthy and full of vigor all while behind him Fushimi's sitting there with bags under his eyes typing up a few more reports. Kuroh decides his first order of business will be to fix Fushimi's diet, he heads into the kitchen to make a delicious balanced meal...which Fushimi promptly ignores except maybe to eat a couple pieces of meat, refusing all the vegetables. Cue Kuroh in the kitchen of S4 looking over recipes like a mad scientist, trying to discover the best way to hide the veggies so that Fushimi will eat them.
Kuroh also creates a daily schedule for Fushimi, like at this time we'll wake up, followed by stretching and twenty minutes of vigorous exercise to get our hearts pumping, then a healthy meal, then some work followed by stretching intervals so your hands don't cramp, them sword training, eating another healthy meal, stretching and work time and eventually going to bed at a reasonable hour. Kuroh is so proud of this schedule and of course Fushimi just ignores it, sleeping in and then dragging himself straight to the office where he sits hunched at his desk for hours and hours subsisting entirely on black coffee, staying up late into the night to the point Kuroh is seriously considering knocking him out and dragging him back to bed. Fushimi doesn't get why Kuroh's so determined to take care of him, complaining that they aren't friends and he doesn't need to be Kuroh's pity project. Kuroh expresses some surprise at that, he admits that he hasn't had a lot of time to get to know Fushimi but he can see that Fushimi is an extremely talented person and an extraordinarily hard worker, but also that he's someone who isn't used to taking care of himself and Kuroh doesn't like that, he thinks Fushimi should place more value on himself and treat his own body better. Fushimi clicks his tongue at that and complains under his breath about 'stupidly earnest guys' but he does finally sigh and tells Kuroh to bring the dinner he made, Fushimi will try to eat it anyway.

May we have some scenarios of munakata trolling S4 :D
I can’t believe you would suggest that Munakata would troll his men, he is nothing but 100% sincere in everything he does D: Like the time the squad were joking about different bonding exercises that Munakata could inflict on them and Hidaka made a comment like what if he decided in order to get to know each other better we should all get naked for a day. This is the exact moment Munakata chooses to step out from around the corner all ‘Oya, what an interesting suggestion.” His glasses shine and then he just walks past them all back to his office as the squad stares in shock, Hidaka doesn’t even have a moment to say he was joking before Munakata closes the door. So now everyone is on edge for the next week or so, Munakata keeps making comments about ‘a new bonding experience’ that he is considering and no one wants to ask him for details because what if he wasn’t joking about the naked day thing, or what if he was but reminding him will make him think it’s a good idea. Munakata keeps smiling mysteriously whenever anyone brings it up and Hidaka especially is suffering, because this is going to be all his fault and everyone keeps glaring at him even though he was just trying to make a joke. (The good news is in the end Munakata takes them all to get naked in a hot spring, the bad news is they have to do naked exercise drills before being allowed to relax and Fushimi keeps muttering that when he finds out what idiot suggested this they’re dead, all while Hidaka laughs nervously.)
Really all Munakata’s bonding experiences in general could fall under this, he likes to give the squad little hints and just leave their imaginations to run wild. Of course it’s not like he’s doing this on purpose, he’s simply giving it fun hints in order to give everything an air of mystery. But who can blame the alphabet boys for getting nervous when the hints are things like ‘we must take care that no one gets shot’ (this was a squad paintball trip, Fushimi particularly enjoyed that one and took maybe a bit too much glee in shooting Doumyouji with balls of paint) or ‘what would be the best rations to bring along for surviving in the forest for a long period of time’ (a day hike and picnic, which was tiring but at least they didn’t have to fight off wild animals with their bare hands this time). Naturally the squad would never dream of suggesting that their Captain is just fucking with them but sometimes they do wonder, like is he enjoying this too much or is that just how Captain is.

Munakata and Fushimi playing Battleship.
I feel like this is one of those games that Fushimi wouldn't agree to play with Munakata because Munakata would be too good at it XD Especially with the whole 'Luck of Kings' thing, I imagine Munakata would just somehow manage to guess all the right places each time and it isn't even fun to play because it's just one party steamrolling the other. Imagine Munakata finds a copy of the game at like some random store or something and decides to play with the squad as a bonding exercise, of course he quickly beats basically everyone and they're all in despair. Munakata tries to convince Fushimi to play but Fushimi's just like 'I wouldn't be stupid enough to play against you.' Munakata assures Fushimi that this game has the potential to be challenging and Munakata feels like Fushimi would pose a particular difficulty for him in the way the other squad members didn't.
He looks so hopeful that finally Fushimi sighs and says fine, fine he'll play. Munakata is probably suddenly far more focused playing against Fushimi than he was with the rest of the squad, like he's clearly considering his moves much more thoroughly in this case. Fushimi's initially kinda half-heartedly playing but imagine he gets a few good hits on Munakata's better ships and all of a sudden Fushimi is very focused as well, like Munakata's managed to rouse Fushimi's competitive streak. The rest of the squad is like clustered in the doorway watching and it feels like watching two generals plotting out a war game, using strategy and skill to try and one up each other and the squad find themselves thinking that aren't Captain and Fushimi-san both scary in their own right. Munakata wins the first round and wonders if Fushimi intends to quit after one game, Fushimi clicks his tongue but also says he's ready for one more game.

I love how pretty the S4 squad is. They all have such unique personalities, too. And they're all in pretty great shape! What do you think their unique workout routines would be to stay in shape aside from required S4-mandated training?
I would hope they're all in good shape, only Fushimi is allowed to be unhealthy in Scepter 4 XD For exercise routines, I imagine Akiyama and Benzai are some the most active members of the group or they were, until they got a kotatsu and realized they can take it easy sometimes so now it's like they're still very active in the summer months and then hibernate all winter. I feel like it was mentioned somewhere that they spar fairly often, I could see them going to the dojo on their own time and practicing together. They also probably keep up with some of their old training regimen from Special Forces, like daily exercises and things to keep their muscles in shape.
Similarly I imagine Doumyouji would mostly do sword training on his own, using techniques from his family dojo. He probably knows some moves the others don't and has some regular exercises that his parents put their students through and likes to do them on his own from time to time. I could see Kamo accompanying him at times too, though I imagine Kamo's exercise regimen would be mostly sticking to Scepter 4's regular mandated training and some occasional extra sword work (he also likely spends a lot of time in the kitchen so he doesn't have as much free time as some of the others might for training).
Enomoto I don't really see doing much for extra training, he probably prefers to use his free time for hobbies and just tries to get the most out of his mandated training. Fuse and Gotou I think would be similar, figuring they get plenty out of their usual S4 training so there isn't much need to do additional work beyond that. Hidaka I could see being a bit more active though, his Fan Clan profile mentions he likes physical education and was in a sports club in school, and he strikes me as the sort of person who would eagerly get up at 4 in the morning for a good jog. I think Hidaka would prefer a more active training routine though, like where most of the others focus on swordplay Hidaka's more into running and doing team sports, like I could totally see him trying to get everyone to play a game of handball or something. He probably doesn't follow a specific routine other than daily runs but he tries to keep active often and is surprisingly mindful of his body's condition.

Work is really stressful. I imagine it must be for Scepter 4, especially for someone like Fushimi. Munakata's tried everything to get Fushimi to take breaks but to no avail. So he thinks one way to get Fushimi to "take a break" is to spar with him? Kind of like that scene in RoK Ep 1. But just the two of them and a lot more Blue? It might be a way to destress but also train or hone battle skills?
If it's like that then does Munakata cut Fushimi's clothes in half XD Thinking about it like episode one of ROK and imagine they don't just spar in the dojo but Munakata takes Fushimi to like the abandoned warehouse district or something so that they can have the kind of sparring where sometimes buildings get a little destroyed. Like say Fushimi has been working hard as usual and as it happens with the way work has been lately Fushimi's been pretty much stuck in the office staring at his computer for days. Normally even when things are hectic Fushimi's able to get out and move a little, whether it be on patrol or fighting Strains or at least something to get him out of that chair and get his blood pumping. Lately though he's been immersed in reports and paperwork and it seems to make him even more tired and irritable, constantly rubbing at his eyes and muttering under his breath.
Munakata is aware that Fushimi's overdoing things again but he also knows how reluctant Fushimi is to take breaks, Awashima's been trying to get him to go back to his room and rest for like an hour. Munakata decides to take matters into his own hands and that if Fushimi won't rest at least it might do him good to move around a bit. He asks Fushimi to accompany him somewhere, Munakata has his own business to attend to and he could use some company. Fushimi's a bit suspicious about this but if it’s an order then fine, he can finish the reports up afterward. Munakata smiles all pleased and has a squad member get one of the vans to drive them. As they're driving Fushimi asks where exactly Munakata needs to go anyway, they seem to be heading for the far outskirts of the city and what kind of business could Munakata even have this far out. Munakata smiles mysteriously and says it is business that can only be done in this part of the city and that Fushimi will understand once they've reached their destination.
They're dropped off at like this old abandoned construction site, Munakata tells the squad member driving to leave them here and come back in an hour or so. Fushimi wonders what the hell they're supposed to be doing in a place like this and Munakata draws his sword, saying he thought they would spar. Fushimi's all 'Here?' and Munakata says exactly, he thought Fushimi could use some exercise. Fushimi complains that they could have just done this at the dojo and Munakata says perhaps, but he thought this might be enjoyable. He wishes for Fushimi to take full advantage of whatever he feels will be helpful in their sparring – the terrain, his knives, he may use anything at his disposal. Munakata will of course be doing the same, though he will be taking advantage of the Blue power to shield them both so that no one gets injured. Fushimi mutters that this is a stupid idea but he's actually seeming somewhat intrigued and Munakata smiles triumphantly, suggesting that Fushimi draw his sword and they can begin.
No sooner has Fushimi pulled out his sword than Munakata's immediately charging at him, Fushimi's caught off guard and like ducks behind a steel beam. Munakata notes that Fushimi seems to be getting the idea and Fushimi can't stop himself from smiling as he says he won't go easy on Munakata, Munakata says he hopes not and encourages Fushimi to treat this as a strategic exercise as well as a physical one. Soon the two of them are like chasing each other down through half-fnished buildings and jumping onto rooftops, just using the entire space as their training ground and despite Fushimi's complaints he's clearly enjoying this chance to let loose and challenge himself. When they finally finish Fushimi's exhausted but not in an unpleasant way, imagine he falls asleep on the drive back leaning against Munakata's shoulder and Munakata strokes his hair a little, pleased that he finally got Fushimi to rest after all.

What about twilight sarumi lol ! Don't u think fushimi would make a great sparkling vampire?
Thank u for your work and have a nice day 😍
Wouldn't 'sparkling vampire' be more Munakata's thing than Fushimi's XD Honestly Fushimi would probably hate being a vampire, like he has stupid sparkles when he goes out in the sun, he's obligated to hang out with Munakata and the rest of the Scepter 4 vampires for the remainder of his (un)life and he still has to keep going to school even though he's a couple hundred years old and already knows all this stuff anyway. Maybe Munakata is like the vampire patriarch and he thinks it's a good idea for his fellow vampires to try and blend in with the normal humans by attending school, he particularly wants Fushimi to go so that perhaps he can gain more friends and become more social. Fushimi is the youngest of the vampires and was only recently 'adopted' by Munakata's clan, previously he was with his abusive dad vampire Niki who's also the one who turned him. Niki was eventually killed by a vampire hunter and Fushimi was intending to live by himself forever until Munakata swooped him up.
Since he was turned at around high school age Fushimi gets stuck having to attend high school, where the rumor is he lives in some fancy mansion and has a bunch of money. Fushimi skips half his classes and doesn't bother to participate in class since he already knows everything and he figures no one should care if he gets good grades or not. One day he's sticking to the shadows trying to go home after school when some bullies corner him, Fushimi's trying to think of a way out of this that doesn't give away his cover when someone comes running to 'save' him. Fushimi's immediately annoyed by this stupid idiot human trying to be a hero but he also finds himself unexpectedly drawn to this person too. Fushimi as the ability to read the minds of most humans but when he tries to read the mind of the kid who saved him he can't read anything at all (later Fushimi will assume that this is because Yata's head is just that empty and Yata tells him to shut up).
Despite the whole weirdness of not being able to read Yata's mind and also feeling like Yata's blood smells kinda good Fushimi is still determined not to befriend him, however Yata's already become interested in this weird loner kid who seems to be amazing. Imagine one day Fushimi's skipping school and Yata decides to go after him, in the parking lot Yata is almost hit by a car but Fushimi saves him by stopping the car with his bare hands. Fushimi's sure he just blew his cover but Yata's eyes just shine as he's like wow Saruhiko you're really strong what kind of exercises do you do. Fushimi's become used to his vampire powers being just common and nothing special so having someone who finds him this amazing is entirely new and he finds himself wanting to keep talking with Yata more. But then at the same time he knows that as a vampire he also really wants to suck Yata's blood and if he does what if he like accidentally kills Yata, or what if he becomes like Niki and turns Yata against his will. Fushimi decides he just needs to stay away from Yata but of course Yata has other ideas and won't leave him alone, wanting to talk with Saruhiko even more (and sure Yata notices that Fushimi's kinda pale and yeah he never goes out into the sun and he seems to live off a liquid diet and he avoids mirrors a lot too but that's all probably just a coincidence right).

Munakata is worried that Fushimi is lacking exercise. The boy enjoys playing games more than doing physical activities. If only video games could help make someone strong. That's how Fushimi finds himself being given Ring Fit Adventure! Fushimi of course didn't like this but Awashima just tells him to try cause the Captain looks so happy and proud of himself for the idea. Everyone in s4 is supportive of Fushimi cause they all want him to be healthy.
Just imagine Munakata being so proud that he finally found a way to get Fushimi to exercise, while Fushimi's trying to act like he doesn't care about this sort of stupid video game but then he gets really into it and trying to get achievements and best times and the whole thing. Like of course Munakata wants Fushimi to do more physical activity, he rarely trains with the rest of the squad and spends most of his time in his room playing on his computer or playing video games. Munakata is considering different tactics he could try to get Fushimi to do more physical activity and maybe one of the alphabet boys walks in while he's brainstorming, like Munakata decides to ask Doumyouji what kids these days do for exercise outside of playing video games. Doumyouji mentions that there are video games that 'trick' you into exercising and Munakata's glasses shine as he's like 'please, tell me more.'
So say maybe as part of his plan Munakata buys a video game system for like the whole squad, putting it in the common room and stating it's like a new thing for everyone to bond over. Of course this is all part of his plan, while Fushimi won't use the system when anyone else is there he can be convinced to try it on his own. And by having other people play it as well it gives Fushimi scores he needs to beat, like the game shows how well each person who has a profile did on any given game and so on all the physical ones Fushimi gets to see that his score is the lowest. As Munakata expected, Fushimi clicks his tongue and calls it stupid but also refuses to lose, so he starts exercising more as he tries to defeat the whole squad in fitness. The rest of the squad get in on it too, which is how even the more serious members like Akiyama get dragged in, like Akiyama gets one of the highest scores and so of course Fushimi is now fixated on beating it even if he has to keep playing this stupid exercise game (Munakata then tries to suggest that perhaps a balanced diet would help increase Fushimi's scores even further, however there are limits to Fushimi's dedication to high scores).

I dunno, I've been into nice ASMR videos for a while. I keep thinking that Munakata discovers that Fushimi needs that kind of thing to relax, but I can't think of anything cute he could do since, well, it's Munakata and he's kind of a dork. But some sweet Reisaru scenario would be lovely in either case, thank you. <3
Okay but ASMR putting a puzzle together video, work with me here. Fushimi probably always has trouble relaxing, he's constantly on edge and working himself to exhaustion so it's hard for him to just like unwind and relax. He sort of unintentionally discovers ASMR videos though, like he's idly surfing the internet one evening and he ends up watching some video game streaming channels, he's got insomnia so he just leaves the videos on and rests his head on the desk, feeling on edge and irritated. The video he was watching ends and it automatically switches so some ASMR video, like a cooking channel or something, and Fushimi's surprised to find it oddly relaxing to the point that he's actually able to sleep a bit.
Munakata eventually finds out about this due to spending so much time with Fushimi, like imagine them sharing his bed and Fushimi is covertly waiting for Munakata to fall asleep so he can try to like sneakily put on an ASMR video without Munakata noticing. He realizes pretty quick that trying to do something without Munakata noticing is an exercise in futility, Munakata however finds these videos extremely fascinating and wonders if Fushimi-kun finds such things enjoyable. Fushimi clicks his tongue and says not really, like he's not interested in cooking or cleaning (and he probably prefers the videos with mostly sounds over whispering, I feel like Fushimi wouldn't care for the type of videos where someone's talking) but it helps him relax sometimes. Munakata gets an interested look and is like 'is that so?'.
So armed with the knowledge that this what helps Fushimi relax imagine Munakata recruiting Enomoto to help him make a video. Enomoto's surprised that Captain wants to make an ASMR video but he figures you never know with Munakata's whims, maybe he overheard someone talking about it and thought it would be fun. They record this whole video and Enomoto helps Munakata edit it and adjust the sound settings and Munakata sends the file to Fushimi as a present. Fushimi's pretty skeptical when he hears Munakata made a video, Munakata notes that he simply hopes that this will be beneficial for Fushimi to help him relax. When Fushimi turns on the video and sees that it's like Munakata putting a puzzle together he just clicks his tongue and rolls his eyes but then imagine that it actually does relax him, even more than any other video has – there's just something soothing about hearing the click of puzzle pieces and the occasional rustle of Munakata's uniform or the sipping of tea, that reminds him of lazy peaceful moments sitting by Munakata's side and somehow all the usual tension just drains right out of his body and he finds himself able to relax.

Fushimi and Yata are affected by a Strain's power that flips their personalities. So now Fushimi is outgoing, seems more friendly, and straight-forward. But also has horrible work ethic, is completely superficial, and flaky/not dependable. Yata is disciplined, reclusive, and practical. But doesn't feel a sense of loyalty to any specific cause, is pretty shady in general, and looks out only for his own self-interest. Everybody ends up vastly preferring normal Sarumi to these backward imposters.
Straightforward honest Fushimi and Yata who can't express his feelings at all would just be...weird. Like imagine they get hit by the Strain some time pre-S1, like Homra and Scepter 4 run into each other while chasing the same Strain and everyone's getting ready to fight when the Strain ambushes them. Fushimi and Yata end up getting hit and of course there's momentary concern that something awful is about to happen to them. When Yata stands up and clicks his tongue everyone initially assumes he and Fushimi have switched bodies, Yata gives the Homra alphabet a cold glare and calls them idiots, of course he's Yata. Fushimi meanwhile waves the Scepter 4 boys away with a way too heartfelt 'I'm fine, don't worry guys.' Everyone exchanges glances like are you sure you didn't switch bodies.
They both end up going back to their respective clans and it's just really weird dealing with the personality switch. Over at Homra everyone's used to Yata being loud and hot-headed but always sincere and now he's just pouting in the corner ignoring everyone. Where normal Yata would yell loudly if someone annoyed him now Yata's just clicking his tongue and giving everyone poisonous glares. He does seem to be at least calmer, like at some point Kusanagi risks sending Yata out with Homra to deal with some guys interloping on Homra's territory and afterward Kamamoto admits that Yata was amazing (and kinda terrifying), instead of rushing in Yata took his time and they quietly ambushed the guys instead. Yata even tried to think up a crude strategy, maybe not the best strategy – presumably he doesn't get Fushimi's genius – but it was definitely more than 'normal' Yata does. Kusanagi also appreciates when Yata just quietly does work around the bar whenever Kusanagi asks, like he clearly does have a work ethic still even though he keeps clicking his tongue and complaining about what a pain it is. By the end of the day most of the Homra guys kinda hate him a little and are ready to have the old stupid loud friendly Yata back.
Meanwhile over at Scepter 4 it's a mix of good and bad as well. The alphabet boys start out enjoying it, like Fushimi-san is suddenly so honest and friendly this is great. Hidaka's all ready to make friends at last, asking how Fushimi is and does he want to go drinking later and basically wanting to be best friends. Fushimi agrees easily to come along, probably wanting to go right now and then looking bummed when Hidaka says they have to finish work first right. That's when they start to realize that sunshine Fushimi isn't all fun and games, because this Fushimi gets frustrated pretty quickly with how boring all this work is and can't we just go out and move around more. Munakata sends him off on some solo mission just to get him some exercise, Fushimi's a little crestfallen about going alone. Once Fushimi gets back he's antsy and keeps shifting in his seat and checking the time, everyone gets this sinking feeling as they realize that if Fushimi isn't going to take care of the reports everyone else is going to have to stay overtime to finish them instead (and while that might not be so bad if they were helping Fushimi to do it so he didn't stay alone, this time Fushimi's getting impatient and deciding to go out for a walk or go run around for a bit and just basically trying to do anything but paperwork).
