"HAHA! I GOTCHU NOW LOSER!" Y/N smashed the buttons on her controller, basically on the edge of her bed. A grunt was heard through her headphones, then a loud bang with laughing in the background. Y/N felt her stomach turn at the sound of this, feeling a little left out, but smiled nonetheless.
"HOW'D YOU EVEN DO THAT?!! YOU’RE DOING SOME HACKING MY GUY!" Denki yelled through the laughing in the background, hands pulling at his hair. He seriously couldn't believe it!
"I'm not! I just wanted to show Sero I'm way better at this game than you are. And turns out I am!" Y/N let out a loud laugh, falling backwards onto her pillow. After finding out that 'Tape Dispenser' went to her cousin’s school by hearing his voice in the back of Denki's room, she got to learn more about this Sero dude. She already knew this after their last game a few nights ago, but he was so chill. It was still insane for her to find out that her cousin and online friend went to the same hero school. The coincidences in this world. Y/N thought as she grinned.
"It's okay Kaminari, you still lasted a long time! But you did get brutally beat by Y/N at the end though..." Sero said, trying to raise Denki's low spirits, but only succeeded in making him more miserable. Rustling was heard through Y/N's headphones, making it obvious that there was movement happening.
"You don't understand Sero! THIS IS THE ONLY GAME I COULD FULLY BEAT THIS GIRL IN!" Denki shook Sero by the shoulders, quickly doing the action. Cackling was heard through the speakers while the girl wiped a tear from her eye. Sero laughed along, as he was pushed to the ground by Denki. His arms were crossed as he looked away, upset that Y/N managed to finally beat him in every game they played.
"It's okay Denki, not everyone can be as good as me!" Y/N exclaimed, getting up from her bed to start taping specific parts of her room. Kaminari continued to complain about his defeat to Sero, who only chuckled in response. As she finished taping the bottom of the walls, Y/N sat back on her bed, sighing in content.
"So, how are you? I'm doing terribly after being utterly destroyed by you, by the way." Said Kaminari, opening his water bottle and taking large gulps from it. Y/N felt her face light up as she remembered to tell Kaminari of her future activity.
"Bro, you won't believe this! So, basically, they're actually letting me paint my room! All by myself! How fricking cool is that?!" The girl laughed out loud, jumping on her bed in excitement. Kaminari's eyes widen, in surprise and slight fear, sitting up and taking in the new information.
"Wait, really? But isn't that like extremely dangerous? Cuz of the chemicals and what not??" He tried his best to keep his voice leveled, not noticing Sero look at him weirdly. That guy had no idea what was happening.
"Well, they said that they were gonna do something to the paint so it won't hurt me or anything, I don't know what, but-" Y/N was cut off by an extremely confused Sero. "Wait wait wait, hold on. I don't understand what's happening. How can paint harm you? Besides like...eating it. And what do you mean by 'finally getting to paint your room?’ Silence was the only answer he got. Sero gulped in embarrassment, thinking he asked a really personal question.
"Um, it's nothing du-" A loud 'shhhhhhh' was heard from Y/N, who let out a shaky breath. She never really told anyone, it's not like she could either way, being confined in the hospital room for a long time. She pushed a loose strand of her away from her face, preparing herself to tell Sero.
"Well, the reason is because I basically live in a hospital. I can't go outside, or have 'unpurified' air, as the doctors like to say, meaning my interactions with people and the outside world are extremely limited. That means anything that's not cleared of dust and germs, I guess, can be extremely harmful for me? As pathetic as it sounds, it could actually kill me, haha." It was quiet as Sero took in the information, a large wave of emotions crashing on him. A person shouldn't have to be locked in a room for the rest of their life. Especially someone who is such a sweet person like Y/N.
"I-I'm so sorry to hear that Y/N. If you don't mind me asking, how...how long have you been in the hospital?" The young girl answered with a quick 'Two years', and that's when Sero felt his stomach twist uncomfortably. Kaminari abruptly got up and headed towards his door.
"I'm gonna get something to eat, you want something dude?" Kaminari's voice was low and trembling. It didn't take a genius to see that the blonde haired boy needed some time alone. "No thanks." Kaminari let out a hum, quickly exiting his room and closing the door shut. Sero heard the loud sniffs that slowly faded away, as he hung his head down.
"Hey, you good Sero? That was probably a lot to take in, sorry." Sero shook his head, letting a sad smile adorn his face. "It's fine, really. I actually feel honored that you're comfortable telling me. Feels like we're getting closer, to be honest." He smiled happily, meaning every word he said. And Y/N knew that. "Ha, we are though!" The air was tense, despite the two teenagers being in different rooms.
Y/N went to clear her throat, but was interrupted when a light knock echoed throughout her room. "Someone there?" Sero asked, noticing her silence and hearing the very faint knocking.
"Yeah, um Sero, I'll call you guys later, my doctor wants to talk." Y/N quickly replied, seeing Receen open the door and walk in with his thin suit on. Sero let out an ok and they hang up. Y/N finally took in how the doctor looked, noticeable eye bags under his blue-grey eyes, from lack of sleep. His dark hair slightly tousled, probably from putting on the protective helmet that came with the suit, and a small smile on his welcoming face. And a large container of paint in his left hand. Her eyes immediately lit up.
"What’s up doc? I see you have something in your hand, can I see it closer?" The small girl asked, getting up and making a grabbing motion with her hands. Receen chuckled, lifting up the paint for Y/N to see. Even if he were to hand her the container, she wouldn't be able to hold. She was just too weak. Said girl let out a high pitch 'OOOO ' in excitement.
"I'm not sure if you wanted more, but we managed to get you your favorite color! This should be enough to paint the room, you can even put a second layer if you want." Receen walked over to where Y/N put all the equipment, opening the container of paint. And with a low grunt from him, the lid was opened. Y/N watched with amazement as the doctor poured the soft looking paint into a tray. She picked up a roller near her, and drowned the roller in paint, the white fluff getting covered in color.
The two began painting, Y/N's hand shaking every now and then. After painting half the room, they sat in silence, resting for a while. Receen seemed to be tense, though Y/N didn't seem to notice since she was too happy to speak. Receen let out a breath, breaking the silence, causing Y/N to look towards him.
"I didn't get to ask you how you were, did I Y/N? How are you?" Said girl let a beaming smile spread on her face, causing Receen to slightly squint his eyes from the intensity of her smile. "Honestly, I haven't felt this happy in a very long time! I actually still can't believe you guys really let me do this! Thank you so much!"
Receen gave her a small smile while rubbing the back of his neck. "It's not a problem, you could’ve asked sooner and gotten this done a long time ago. You've been here for two years, so please don't be afraid of asking for things!" At the mention of her time spent in the hospital, Y/N lowered her head, causing Receen to wince. Well, might as well tell her. The doctor cleared his throat and began to talk.
"Y/N, as you are aware, I, along with many other doctors and scientists, have been working hard for you to be able to go outside again. To see your family, hug them, be a normal kid again." There was a pause and that alone caught Y/N's attention. She looked up at him. "There is a way for you to finally do that, Y/N."
Shock evident on the girl's face, she abruptly stood up and faced the doctor. There was absolutely no way anyone could have found a cure for someone like her. Someone who had an incurable sickness. Someone who was too sick, to even have medicine. He's lying. Y/N narrowed her eyes at the grown man sitting in front of her.
"With all due respect Doctor, I highly doubt that that's possible. Cuz, y'know? I basically have an incurable disease? I mean, like, even if you did manage to find a way for me to leave this place, how do you even know it's gonna work? I don't think you've tried this medicine since no one in recorded hospital documents in the past have had people like that checked in before-"
"How do you even know that?"
"-so how do you truly know it'll work?" Y/N quickly finished, completely ignoring his statement. Receen sighed, scratching his head. "We live in a world where quirks exist. Would you believe me if I told you centuries ago that the human race would evolve to have super powers? It's kind of like that, but not really." Y/N eyed him suspiciously. He's avoiding the question.
Receen looked straight at the girl standing in front of him. He felt slightly intimidated by her piercing gaze. He quickly looked away and got up, towering over Y/N's small frame. Then he smiled. "Y/N, you are a very sweet girl, no doubt about it. I know how much you want to get out of here, and I want to help you. My team has created this almost perfect pill, especially suited for your sickness. I know you're very cautious, just like your mother, but I can only reassure you, that these are your ticket out of here." He pulled out the bottle from his protective suit, shaking it in front of [Y/N].
Her eyes widened as she restrained herself from reaching out and snatching the bottle. Her eyes slightly narrowed as she pulled herself together. Crossing her arms and slightly tilting her upwards, she looked into the doctor's bright eyes. "There's always a catch when it comes to these kinds of things. What's the price if I take these? My lifespan shortens, I only have five hours to go outside, it drugs me or something?"
"I'm hurt you think I would just give you these without setting out the consequences." There was a slight glint in his eyes before it quickly disappeared. Y/N hummed, urging the doctor to continue.
"There are exactly 15 pills in here. And consuming just one of these bad boys right here, would allow you to go outside! Though, time is very important when taking these. You'd have 10 hours before the pills effects wear off. These would dull your hypersensitive senses, but not to a point where you can't feel, smell or do anything. No no, it'd just be like how you were before. You'd feel slightly dizzy and be a little itchy, but besides that, nothing too extreme. It just dulls all your body senses down." Receen gave Y/N a small smile. She looked a little weary, unsure if what he said was true. She looked at the bottle then back to Doctor Receen, fingers twitching every now and then. Breathing in and letting it out slowly, Y/N stared straight into the doctor's eyes.
If I take these, I can finally go out. I can hug mom and dad, I can be around Denki again. I can meet Sero face to face and feel the grass again! I can be... happy again. But if these don't actually work, I'd immediately die on the spot. I'd be able to go outside though. Aah, so much going outside, I can meet new people! I don't wanna spend the rest of my days slowly rotting away in here anyway.
"So Y/N, are you going to take them or let all our time go to waste?"
Tumblr media
Sero looked at his hands solemnly, thinking about what Y/N had told him. He swallowed the lump forming in his throat, then lightly slapped his cheeks to stop the wave of emotions from spilling out.
"Yo, you good dude? It's not everyday I see someone willingly slapping themselves." Kaminari chuckled, walking in and closing the door with his foot as he carried a soda bottle and a bag of chips towards the boy sitting on his bed. Sero grinned, feeling the sadness of everything wash away.
"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine. But what about you though? After we had that conversation, you were, well, umm... kind of out of it." Kaminari froze, letting a dejected smile appear on his face. Dragging a hand down his face, he let out a sorrowful laugh.
"She's my best friend. My first real, true friend. She's basically my sister at this point. So when she collapsed that day, I felt my whole world crashing down. She is the sweetest, the most kindest, person I have ever met. She never let me degrade myself, alway cheered me up when people called me stupid." Kaminari rubbed his eyes, opening the bag of chips and plopping one of them into his mouth.
"It hasn't been the same ever since she left, her parents barely come over anymore, and they're always so sad whenever I see them. My own parents aren't the same either, they treated her like their own daughter. I can't even begin to imagine how Y/N feels about this all. She was the top in our grade, highest scores in our test. No one could compare to her. M-my heart breaks for her. She lost everything." Sero let that information sink in, thinking about how she was before. He smiled as he saw Kaminari's shoulders begin to shake. He cares so much for her.
He put his hand on his shoulder, watching Kaminari slowly lift his face towards him. "Come here you emotional ball of feelings." Being the friendly guy he is, Sero gave the sobbing boy a hug, cuz hugs fix everything.
"No homo though bro." And with that, they both laughed out loud, continuing their bro day.

it was a friday evening, and you found yourself studying at kei tsukishima’s house. again. no matter how many times you tried to convince him to do other things while hanging out in the warmth of his bedroom, he always insisted that academics came before baking and movies.
the two of you have been friends since your last year of junior high, after yamaguchi was too busy looking up at his tall companion to realize another figure was about to collide with him. the two of you made contact with the ground, before jumping up to apologize quickly.
tsukishima found himself instantly infatuated with you - you were gorgeous. your breathtaking eyes, the way your school uniform seemed to fit just perfectly, the way he imagined your smaller hands and fingers slotting in between his - he was absolutely intrigued. yamaguchi would say love at first sight, the taller male would call him ridiculous.
the three of you instantly clicked, with you and yamaguchi being the more talkative ones of the trio. tsukishima acted as a parental figure, scolding you two constantly for doing things you weren’t supposed to.
upon overhearing a conversation with sensei that you would be heading to karasuno for high school - the same place tsukishima and yamaguchi were planning on going - he let out a breath he never knew he was holding in. he continued listening to sensei urging you to plan on going somewhere more academic based - like shiratorizwa or fukurōdani. you put it simply that you would rather go somewhere more balanced. sensei was hesitant before he approved of your plans.
you had always been good at doing homework and classwork, but you weren’t so good at taking tests. they intimidated you, making you worry that you would end up receiving something lower than a B+. tsukishima and yamaguchi knew of course, since the two of you held frequent study sessions at each others’ houses. this tradition carried on even when the three of you made it into karasuno, just not as frequently due to the boys’ volleyball practices.
today, however, yamaguchi was helping yachi teach kageyama and hinata english since tsukishima blatantly refused. the two of you headed back to his house, and instantly began flipping through your textbooks. he was quietly scribbling words and numbers on his papers, seemingly flying through assignments. you were sat on his bed, stuck on one section in particular.
“why the hell is ap chemistry so hard?” you sighed, scratching your scalp. tsukishima turned his head to see you rubbing your eyes, which adorned deep blue bags underneath. he sighed, putting his pencil down as he walked to sit on the edge of the bed alongside you. he looked over your shoulder, reading the complex chemical equations. “you know this one, l/n. you got it.”
you shook your head quickly, “no, i don’t tsukki. i have no idea what i’m doing and sensei literally didn’t even teach us this. see, this is why i’m glad i didn’t end up going to an academy because this would be ten times harder. i hate that people are always assuming i can handle this with ease. i can’t.” you finished, blinking back tears.
tsukishima sighed, rubbing his eyes underneath his glasses before readjusting them to focus on the question. he began rubbing his finger over the numbers, slowly explaining each process. you were surprised he was being kind, but you didn’t want to take this soft moment for granted. you simply nodded your head, hurriedly scribbling down what he was saying in your notebook.
“tell you what,” he turned, looking into your eyes. “if you can do these next four questions by yourself, i’ll give you something i’ve been meaning to for a while.” you tilted your head, “tsukki, my birthday was months ago.” he chuckled, getting up to sit in his chair, which was now facing you. “i’m aware.” the two of you stared at each other for a while, before you turned your attention back to your textbook.
using tsukishima’s explanations and whatever strategies you learned from sensei, you flew through two of the questions with ease, getting stuck on the third one. tsukishima explained once more, telling you to use a different equation for the next two. you nodded, finally understanding.
the next two questions were hard to figure out, but you finally got through them. you placed your pencil in between the crease of the pages, looking up to tsukisima expectedly. when he didn’t move, you were confused. did he just trick you into doing homework?
tsukishima gulped, attempting to calm his erratic heart and shaky legs. was he ready for this? no, he wasn’t. but even as yamaguchi said; he’s been putting this off for long enough. he knew he liked you, but had no idea just what to do about it. he knew he would be jeopardizing your friendship in some way, but tsukishima couldn’t deny that he wanted some sort of affectionate skinship to happen between the two of you.
he released his lower lip from his teeth before shaking his head. he stood up, walking towards you with slight hesitation. he plopped himself next to you, your shoulders brushing against each other. tsukishima lifted his glasses off his nose before leaning forward, pressing a quick peck to your lips.
your mouth fell open, and your eyes widened more than you believed they ever could. your face exploded with heat, and you began spewing out incoherent words. he stood up, returning to his seat. “tsukki?” you asked in disbelief. “yes?” he responded, seemingly unphased. “w-what was that?” he watched you run your middle and forefinger over your lips, “my gift.” your jaw dropped open once more, earning a rare chuckle from your blond friend. or maybe, not a friend anymore.
“if you finish the next four questions, i’ll give you another one. if you want,” his last words were muffled by the back of his hand. you smiled at the sight; tsukishima, the most stoic boy you’ve ever met, was embarrassed. nonetheless, you were going to earn another kiss from your friend, not to mention the boy you’ve been in love with for the past two years.
you were quick to pick up your pencil, reading the questions as quickly as possible. “and don’t rush either, idiot,” tsukishima jested. you stuck your tongue out at him, feeling your heart flutter as he let out a soft chuckle.
you made sure to complete each question thoroughly, wondering if you would get extra points for doing more work. tsukishima stood over your figure, eyes scanning over each question. he pointed at one, “the equation was right, but check your calculations again.” you sighed, turning back to the book.
tsukishima bent over, pressing a light kiss atop your head, making you jolt in surprise. he staggered back holding his chin, and you stood up waving your hands frantically. he held his hand up to stop your word-vomit, letting a light chuckle escape his lips.
you pressed your lips in a line, sitting back down. you began calculating the equation once more, finally coming up with the right answer. “there you go. see? you only have four questions left now.” you lifted your chin expectedly, watching him squat in front of you. you pursed your lips as he began to lean in, pressing teasing kisses to both of your cheeks. you groaned in annoyance, before sandwiching his face in between your palms. “stop teasing,” you muttered sternly. “yes ma’am,” he joked, finally closing the distance between you two.
this kiss was a tad bit more passionate, the two of you moving your lips together excitedly. it would’ve been a make out session, if tsukishima had not pulled away with a grin. “last four questions.” he smirked at you before standing up, returning to his chair once more.
these questions were possibly the worst. there were multiple equations in each separate question, and it left you wondering why someone would ever want to major in chemistry. tsukishima watched your face contort into borderline anger, your lower lip between your teeth. he swiftly stood up, placing himself next to you on the bed. he reached his arm around you, rubbing circles into your lower back as you continued writing the wrong equations.
“here,” he spoke up finally, removing the pencil from your grasp. he began writing in a clear fashion which numbers were to be plugged in where, and it finally clicked for you. he glanced at your profile, watching your mouth fall open. he smiled to himself as he watched you solve the equations with ease, his hand never leaving your back.
you finally finished, looking up at the blond with long-awaited anticipation. “you’re eager,” he whispered, his eyes becoming soft. his gaze flickered between yours and your plush lips - the one’s he’s been waiting to feel on his for so long. and the feeling wasn’t disappointing. they felt amazing, and he was on cloud nine. a little voice that sounded like yamaguchi resonated in tsukishima’s head saying, “finally.”
the two of you began moving forward at a slow pace, until you gripped onto his shirt pulling him into you to finally close the gap. this kiss was definitely not like the last ones. this one was ferocious; two pining friends finally earning exactly what they’ve been patiently waiting for.
tsukishima’s right hand made its way to your hip, prompting you to lay down. he hovered over you, not once pulling away. your tongue brushed against the seam of his lips, and he eagerly allowed your tongue to meet his. your hands began roaming, feeling tsukishima’s pecs. they slowly moved down to his abs, which were rock-solid, much to your surprise.
you gasped as he pulled away to press open-mouthed kisses on your jawline, moving down to your neck. your hands gripped his hair as he sucked on a particular spot that elicited a whine from your throat.
he pulled away, looking down at you with golden irises filled with lust. his gaze fell on the newly formed red spot on your neck, and he sat up pushing his glasses back to rest on the bridge of his nose. “sorry about that,” he whispered, his voice filled with nerves. “don’t be. i liked it,” you smiled, watching his gaze soften for the umpteenth time that day.
“do you like me?” he asked hesitantly. you paused, your eyebrows furrowing in mock confusion. “you know, for one of the smartest in the class, you’re pretty dumb.” he opened his mouth to protest, before you sat up to give him a quick kiss. “yes, i like you.”
his arms wrapped around your waist, pushing you back down onto his bed. “can we cuddle,” he said it as more of a statement than a question. you chuckled, wrapping your arms around his back. “can you be my boyfriend,” you pretend to mock, causing his head to snap up. he nodded hastily before burrowing his face into your chest once more.
“i love you,” he said, his words muffled by your shirt. “i love you too, kei.” you smiled as you ran your hands through his golden locks, hearing a content sigh escape his lips.

Into the Dark (Sam Winchester x Female! Reader)
Tumblr media
Warnings: None for now, however, from the next chapter on, there will be the following; smut, angst, fluff, mature content, and violence (come on it’s supernatural there must be some violence)
Word count: 1,800 even
A little about me since I am new to tumblr: I am 20 years old, from the southeastern part of the United States, going to college with the goal of getting my masters in science of nursing, and married to a Chinese born man. I am new to tumblr, but I have been writing on wattpad for 9 years and have recently discovered AO3. I love to write series, so this will be my first on tumblr but one of many in total. I write for many different fandoms, just be sure to write which one in the request. I will write requests for one shots, imagines, and series. I have been in the supernatural fandom since i was five years old, due to my stepfather (sad excuse of a “man”) who was a fan of Jensen in Smallville and had the need to watch the new (at the time) show that looked badass with Jensen in it. Ever since I have been whipped. I have always been a Sam girl, however sometimes, recently, I catch myself having slight feelings for Dean. I love feedback (good and bad) so i can learn how to improve for your benefit.  I hope you enjoy!  T
Chapter One:
You wake up from your deep sleep, three loud knocks came from your motel room door. You already know it’s the owner kicking you out at check out. The past few days have been intense and it made you exhausted. You checked the time on your phone, seeing that you were in fact, asleep for 12 hours. It was all made up time from sleep you lost the past few nights hunting the vampires who were murdering a mass amount of people in this small town. Doing it on your own was hard, but you managed to have success in every hunt. The knocks grew louder so you swing your legs off of the bed, shouting to the door, “Yeah Im leaving! Hold your horses!” You shook your head and began packing up, putting toothpaste on your toothbrush, brushing your teeth as you packed to save time. When you slipped on your boots and were about to head out, the motel manager was leaned up against the wall shaking his head. If only he knew that his life could have been one of the many you saved the past few days.
You threw your pink suitcase into the trunk of your ‘67 Volkswagen Beatle and drove off to the diner down the road. You parked the car and sat at the same booth you have been sitting in the past four days. The waiter greeted you with a warm smile, “I heard you solved the case. Just about to head out of town?” She placed a coffee cup in front of you, already knowing what you’ll order. You nod and pull out your laptop, searching for any new leads. You thanked the waiter for searving your coffee, you weren’t much of an eater. You were definitely a foodie when it came to appreciation, you just always managed to not be hungry and forget to eat regularly. You scrolled through news articles from all over the country and found a possible crossroad demon case in Springfield, Missouri. You finished your black coffee, paid the waiter and hopped back into your car, map out in the passenger seat, following directions to Springfield.
Hours later, you pulled into the small town of Springfield, Missouri and checked into a run down motel called the “Sanderson Motel” where you set up your laptop, ready to find more information.
After studying, you changed into your pencil skirt that matched your blue blazer. You were going as an FBI agent, per usual, so you made sure to grab the right wallet with the badge on your way back out to your car.
When you arrived at the scene of the latest body, you walked up to see two FBI agents already there. Just great, you thought to yourself. Now you had to pray these two agents wouldn’t suspect you were a fake. They were both handsome, probably ten or so years older. The taller one really managed to fill out his suit, with his hair tucked behind his ears it made his facial features really stand out. He was talking to a local deputy while the shorter of the two, who wasn’t bad looking either, was looking around the cones. You took a deep breath and walked up to the taller agent and the short plump deputy. You flashed your badge swiftly and began your performance, “I see you have beat me to the scene agent. I can take over from here though. Your supervisor has relieved you from this case.” You confidently moved the attention to the crime scene. “Can you explain in detail what happened here?” You asked the deputy, not giving the agent much time to respond. “Well as I was telling your colleague here, the girl seemed to have been bitten by a dog. I’m still confused why the federal authorities are involved with an animal attack,” The deputy looked as though he was easily intimidated as he nervously pulled at his pockets when he spoke. “Not everything is just as it seems agent. We just want to be extra cautious,” You state, glancing him up and down. You were normally shy, but you couldn’t be when on the case. It was like you were a confident new being.
“Exactly,” Said the taller agent. He arched his brow down at you, “Can you remind me of your name, er, agent?” You nod once, internally standing on thin ice. Afraid one wrong move would expose you. “Agent McCall. Now, The body was taken to the morge already?” You wanted to confirm, mostly changing the topic back to the deputy. “Well gentlemen, I am going to take a look around,” you nod once and began looking around the crime scene. You could not help but to notice the taller agent had pulled the grungy of the two, to the side and were staring at you while talking. You tried to ignore it, not trying to worry yourself anymore than necessarry, but they began to walk towards you.
“There must have been some mix up, Agent McCall, our supervisor strictly put us on this case,” The Scruffy one stated, arching a brow. They were onto you. You knew it. “Well, I guess we will see who solves it first then. You gentlemen contact me if you see anything… out of the ordinary. Okay?” You state, handing them a fake contact card before swiftly walking back to your car. You went back to your motel, wondering mostly about the case, but partially if those agents figured out you were an impersonator. You shook the thought from your head as you changed back into your blue jeans and white long sleeve T-shirt. You threw on your favorite boots to go along with your green cargo jacket. Next stop was the first victims mother.
You pulled up to the driveway of the middle-aged woman’s home, and noticed the black Impala from the crime scene earlier. It was hard to miss. Your eyes wandered to the window of the house. The FBI must actually have been getting better at their jobs lately to already be at the victims home this fast. You thought twice about going up to her door, they could blow your cover, however if you dropped in, you could listen in. You took a deep breath and walked to the door, knocking gently.
“I’m sorry in running behind my colleagues here. I didn’t want you to feel too intimidated by all suits. I know that’s the last thing you need right now. I’m agent McCall, ” You showed your badge before shaking the tall, brunette woman’s hair. She did not look old enough to have a teenage son if you looked at her. The agents looked up at you, slight annoyance gleaming from their eyes.
They nodded, “so nice of you to join us.” The agent with lighter hair grumbled. You made your way to the couch. “Ms. Winfrey, I just want to make sure I’m caught up, have you seen your son, contacting anyone strange lately? By lately I mean, anyone in the last ten years?” This was a normal FBI question that actually helped in the case of a crossroads demon. If it were a serial killer, the mother would think it was a normal question. “As I told your partners, not that I know of. The only person I could think of was an older gentlemen… ” The interview dragged on. The agents had asked some questions that seemed relevant to yours, so it went smoothly.
Outside of the home, the agents did not even think to look at you before hopping into their car and driving off. Maybe they didn’t notice you were a fraud FBI.
Hours had passed and you were watching the Winfrey house from a distance, in case anything happened. That’s when you heard a scream. You pulled the knife from your jacket and the gun from your passenger seat, placing it in your inner, jacket pocket. You stepped out of your car, and in a crouched position, you made your way to the same window you were peaking into earlier, right next to the front door. A man was standing close to Ms. Winfrey, stating what looked like, “we made a deal, time to pay your end.” You kicked ran into the door, but you weren’t the only one. Coming from the back door, you heard a loud crash. The two agents from earlier barreled in, no longer in their suits but casual wear. They were yielding a demon-killing knife, just like yours, and a gun as well. So these were obviously not agents. “You’re a hunter?” The lighter haired one arched a brow. He looked completely lost. You rolled your eyes and stuck your knife into the back of the crossroad demon. He was no longer an issue. He was too amused by the crash, he hadn’t noticed you right behind him. It was an easy kill.
“Now we can have that conversation,” You sighed and stuffed the knife into your boot. You turned your attention to Ms. Winfrey, who was clutching her hand to her heart, taking deep breaths. “What. The. Fuck? "She stated between breaths. ” Who are you people? “ She asked when she calmed herself enough. You walked over to her and shook your head politely, "it doesn’t matter who we are. It matters who he was. That was a crossroads demon. You have had to of sold your soul to him for something. I’m guessing your son did too, along with the other victim. If you never want to see us again… Stay out of trouble.” You swiftly walked out of the house, but not quick enough so the other guys caught you before you steppe inside. “Hunters? ” You ask, arching a brow to the men. They towered over your height. They nod slightly. “You?” The shorter of the two returned, cocking his head slightly to the side. Nodding, you pull the long sleeve shirt you were wearing at the collar, just enough to show your anti-posession tattoo. Not all hunters have them, however, the better ones did. These guys knew that. “I’m Dean, and this is my brother Sam. Winchesters,” The shorter one averted his eyes from your collar bone, smirking. “Y/N, I’ve heard of you two. Anyways, thanks for that distraction guys. it really allowed me to kill the crossroads demon a lot faster and easier than planned. I’m heading out in the morning so I am going to sleep. Nice knowing you,” You turned back to your car, making slight eye contact with Sam, the taller one. It sent a slight butterfly feeling to your stomach. What was that? You asked yourself, mentally slapping yourself. You don’t get attracted to anyone. Let alone a giant… moose-like guy you just met.
