The last unified exam was a while ago n a new one is upcoming on the horizon which means I'm here to ask the beloved mods help again~~ In advance this time! (or really late depending on how you look at it dlkjfks)

I was actually sOOO close to SS last exam ahhhhh ;; 89599, just a few points away aaaaaaa ;;;; I wasn't as diligent on that last exam for battling sadly but hoping I can finally break that barrier with this upcoming one!

I know test types are prolly gonna change again but maybe I can use any help you can give me for future team comps to try or general help or just things to keep in mind for next time, or whenever I come across those types of tests again (the regular tests/non unified exams ones) esp since we now have Magic 3 as well bc as always teambuilding is not my strongest djkfkd

Damn, you were really close to SS last time! I totally feel you on that, my very first Unified Exam I ended up 800 points away from SS and on the last one it was 700 from SSS :))))

Congrats on the new cards and don’t worry about the text wall, at least it was organized! Fr, thanks for using colors and bullet points for the teams, it helps a LOT.

As you said, the elements are definitely going to change, but some of them should still be the same. So I’ll comment on your teams and suggest some for the other exam type.

Ngl, your first Fire Basic team confused me and I thought you wrote your Fire team against Flora instead. The first one has too much Fire, better stick to the second one, you could also use TsumTsum Riddle instead of Robe for more DMG depending on the levels.

I wasn’t gonna suggest a whole new team here, but I saw you got Broom Jade + Dorm Scarabia and couldn’t resist- So another team you can try is:

Dorm Kalim

Dorm Jamil (if you can level him up)

Broom Jade (DUO boosted by Kalim’s M1)

Lab/TsumTsum Riddle (higher ATK than Robe) or Union Riddle (possible 5th DUO, even if it’s Flora)

Support Dorm Azul (preferably maxed as your finisher DUO)

As for Fire Defense, you could still stick to the previous team we suggested in that other ask you linked, but if you got more SRs leveled up, you could also go for:

Water Basic is great, but one thing you could try if you max your own Dorm Leona is aim for 4 DUOs with:

Your Flora Defense team is perfect and I’m so proud of you for using PE Floyd!

Alsklakss this hurts me to say, but since we’re trying to increase scores, something you can try is keep the Beans trio and replace the 2 other Floyds with Lab Kalim and a support SM Silver. That’s one less neutral hit, you still get a heal and Kalim has a 3T DMG down debuff.

As for Flora Basic, if your Rook is maxed:

Robe or Beans Vil

SM Lilia

Dorm Rook

Support Dorm Epel

If he isn’t, you can replace your own for Robe Epel and choose a maxed Dorm Rook from support instead (you lose a DUO though). Or you can also go for a Dorm Riddle finisher:

Your Omni Basic teams looks a little too Flora-heavy, but it isn’t bad with 5 DUOs available (you only get to use 4 though). I’d say to replace Jade or Ruggie since they both DUO with Floyd, you could try replacing both and use Broom Jade with Dorm Kalim to add more Water and remove one Flora.

As for Omni Defense:

━━━━━━✦ 12. What's a headcanon you have for [Jamil]?

Sooo despite my apparent oc x canon stuff, my headcanon about Jamil is that relationships (partners specifically) will be the last thing on his mind. His focus will be on himself which, like, good for him! he deserves to finally do what he wants without restraint.

I remembered his wish from the wishing star event that he wanted to travel alone where nobody knew him and i was like yeah you go king, just relax by yourself. Relationships are overrated (jk jk).

In the story he's pretty good at acting and hiding his true emotions so i imagine when he does get feelings but refuses to act on it, no one would realize. Unless someone really knows how to read people (like Leona for example when he sussed out his intentions with Kalim in one of the vignettes).

━━━━━━✦ 25. What was your first impression of [Jamil]? How about now?

Okay so, the progression of what i thought about jamil is so funny to me. I'm never gonna be over it.

When i first played the game i DID NOT care about him whatsoever (mostly because i hadn't gone through book 4 yet). Nothing about him particularly stood out to me ;;; (The others have overshadowed him 😔)

I started playing twst when the EN server released (i was a leona simp🧍but i broke up with him and moved on to riddle). Honestly i only played because of the hype around the idea of disney characters being turned into anime boys, so i lost interest after a few weeks.

I only came back last year when a friend showed me that there's actually interesting story aspects in the game so i gave it a chance again. I barely even remember the game when i came back and for some reason i had Jamil's dorm SSR along with my main SSRs at the time (Riddle, Leona).

I was like "bruh who dis" and promptly ignored him. Even when i got to finishing book 4 i was like "alrighty that's another traumatized teenage boy down" and forgot about him again ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ (it also didn't help that i wasn't big of a fan of his overblot design)

This might have been the turning point but the scalding sands event was one of the first events that played when i came back to twst. Najma specifically had a HUGE impression on me because i thought "omg female sprite, Jamil's sister????" I was surprised the characters were like "they don't look alike" when they clearly do??? Anyways they are the siblings ever and i just fell in love with them.

After that I was still pretty neutral about jamil. During the event I was just casually pulling for cards without expecting anything (just the SRs). And guess who showed up. Jamil's event SSR.

it's so funny to me because i was still like "oh cool another SSR" AND THAT WAS IT. Literally only used the card because it was useful because i didn't have any good water-based cards (jamil my beloved im so sorry).

I know this is a bit anticlimactic but i'm not really sure the exact moment when jamil finally got the chokehold on me afterward🧍

So, to answer that question, my impression of him now is completely normal and unbiased (i am obsessed with him).
