Bad Idea: Part 3

Summary: When pop star Trixie can’t get her act together, her team makes a deal with the NHL…one that she can’t turn down. When NHL player Tyler Seguin can’t seem to get himself under control his team decides to thrust a certain Pop star into his life. Can the two play nice?

Trixie sat at the small table outside of a cute little coffee shop in the middle of Dallas. She took a sip of her iced coffee and looked down at her phone. The time on her phone screamed 1:13pm in white letters making her let out a sigh. Tyler was late which didn’t surprised her. After the way he treated her at the club she didn’t expect much from him, neither of them had talked after the two had stepped outside on the patio taking pictures here and there with some people and even going as far as posting on their instagram stories.

The two had laughed at each other’s jokes, held hand even but as soon as the two stepped back into the club Tyler had let her go and walked completely in the opposite direction of Trixie without even saying bye.

Apparently that wasn’t enough for management, they had called an emergency meeting the day after saying how the two looked forced and both looked like they would rather be anywhere but in each other’s company. Which is how Trixie found herself waiting for Tyler…to sit down and get to know him.

Hearing footsteps and a stern ‘no’ Tirxie looked up from the space on the table she had been fixated on and saw Tyler standing there, wearing probably the world’s tightest black shirt. Tattoos on display and a black snapback on his head covering up the messy waves. Trixie sent him a small smile but unfortunately he didn’t return it. Not saying a word he just put his phone on the table and sighed.

It wasn’t his attitude that took the girl by surprise, it was the white lad he had next to him on  a leash who was wagging his tail back and forth happily. Without saying anything Trixie pushed her chair back and got to her knees ignoring the fact that she was probably ruining her jeans.

She smiled and cooed at the lab as he happily licked her face and tried to sit on her lap making her giggle. Tyler stared at the two and grunted, He pulled out his chair and sat down still holding the leash.

“Hey. Gerry, down.” The dog immediately sat down next to Tyler’s feet still staring at Trixie happily. Trixie stood back up and sat back down in her chair.

“This is Gerry. He’s my youngest child.”

“He’s precious.” She glanced at Tyler who was sitting there tapping his finger against the table.

“Surprising that a high maintenance girl like you likes dogs.” Trixie glared at the hockey player.

“I actually really like animals. I just don’t have any because I don’t think it’s fair that I’m away months on end and can’t give them the attention they deserve.” He didn’t say anything else as he took of sip of water that she had ordered for him.

“Your clothing and everything else says otherwise.” Trixie glanced down at her outfit for the day, it was literally jeans and a white tank top. She was thoroughly confused as to where he got this princess notion of her, yes she liked nice things but being dressed up was literally her job especially when she was on tour. Tyler could tell she was racking her brain as to what was wrong with her outfit today so he decided to save her the trouble.

“It’s the giant ass sunglasses and the million of rings, the heels, the Prada purse.” Rolling her eyes, the pop star struck back. How dare he?

“Wow Tyler, so it’s only Okay for the girls you date and sleep with to look like this.” He grimaced, she had no idea the kind of girls he liked.

“They aren’t you.” Trixie rolled her eyes.

“No they aren’t because no one can be me. Now can we please get to know each other like our management wants us to.” He didn’t say anything, instead he looked down at Gerry who was now asleep on the floor.

“Fine, what do we have to do?” Trixie sighed and shook her head. She felt like she back in middle school. She had pulled up her email and was scrolling through it, mumbling random details.

“It says, sit talk, get to know each other pretend you guys like each other...” Glancing up again at Tyler, she rolled her eyes as she saw him scrolling through his phone. Trixie was really trying here.

“Alright well I guess I’ll go first, what’s your favorite food?” 

“Pizza” that was all she got. He didn’t even glance up from his phone.

“Favorite color?” He let out a grunt.

“Really?” She glared at him.

“You’re not really making this easy at all. Fine how many dogs do you have?”

“3. Gerry, Marshall and cash.” Trixie smiled now they were getting somewhere.

“Are you a mommas boy or a dads son?” He laughed and shook his head. His laugh wasn’t bad to hear.

“I’m a mommas boy when my two sisters aren’t hogging her.” She nodded, two sisters, got it.

“You’re close with your family.” It wasn’t a question.  He nodded and glanced up at her, finally.

“Are you not?” Trixie shook her head and took a drink of her coffee.

“My parents didn’t want me to be famous, they wanted me to be like my sister and be a therapist or a doctor.” She was cut off by his phone ringing, he glanced down at the screen which means naturally so did Trixie.

On the screen was a picture of a brunette making a kissy face but also smiling, on the top it read Ali. He hit the ignore button and glanced back up making Trixie glance down at her own phone again.

“Next question?” Trixie nodded and hummed while she thought of another question.

“Favorite time of day?” He scrunched up his nose and gave her a weird look. 

“What?” The popstar shrugged.

“Favorite time of the day?” She nodded and started tracing the pattern on the table something she did when she was nervous, which confused her because why was she nervous.

“Yeah mines the witching hours or from 12-1 when you’re stirring in bed and you’re awake but everything else is silent there’s nothing else going on and for once you feel a sort of peacefulness.” Trixie took a glance at him and saw him staring back, heavily confused.

“I don’t think it’s that deep.” She huffed and shook her head, she was back to square one.

“Fine, Favorite food you can make.” He went back to scrolling on his phone.

“A mean grilled cheese.” Why was she not surprised? His phone started ringing again, startling her. She cocked her head to the side as she saw him hit the ignore button. She had had enough. Grabbing her phone and shoving it into her purse she stood up.

“Hey what are you-“ He glared up at Trixie who was now glaring down at him.  The sound of her chair must’ve startled Gerry because he was now up and wagging his tail. “You clearly have other places to be, you don’t seem at all interested in atleast trying to make this work and I’m done wasting my breath.” She watched as he let out a sarcastic laugh, shaking his head.

“I’m sorry if you feel like I’m wasting your time, but your time isn’t that precious princess. I do have somewhere else to be Incase you had to know but here I am stuck here with you, trying to make this fucking contract work.” Trixie didn’t care to listen to him anymore but apparently he didn’t care. He was now standing up blocking her way and glaring right back at her.  

“You wanna know why I don’t want to try making this work? It’s bad for both of us but I know about you trixie. I know about the men you take home, the way you spend money, the attitude you hold. I saw you at a couple games. How you were so interested in your phone rather then the hockey game. You dated Crosby and Anderson and I’m pretty sure both were under contracts. Because that’s all you are. A pretty face tied to a piece of paper to make money off of.” Trixie could feel her chest tighten and the anger slip through every inch of her. She did the only think she could think of and grabbed his cup of water and threw it on him, he let out a yell and took a step back from the table. Gerry was now barking, concerned at the tension.

 “You know what Tyler Seguin, fuck you. I tried I tried to make this work for the hopes of both of us being able to clear our names. But I guess you have no intention of growing up. I’m sorry if you had other plans, I’m sorry if im keeping you from being balls deep in whatever girl is calling you right now. We both know it won’t matter considering you’ll have another one next week because that’s who you are. Tyler Seguin the boy who got traded to Dallas because he couldn’t grow up in Boston.” I know I hit him where it hurt, he was pissed. His face was red, he was gripping the table and the vein on his neck was starting to be more prominent. 

“The next time you think I know nothing about you or hockey, remember that I know enough.” Trixie  walked away from the table ignoring him and Gerry barking. 

 “Oh and don’t worry, I’ll tell them to breach the contract. Anderson and Crosby weren’t this hard to work with.” With that she got into her car and drove away down the road. It wasn’t until she was far enough that she pulled to the side and parked the car. Trixie let out a giant sigh and for some reason a couple tears sprung to her eyes. She immediately wiped them and sent a message to her manager telling him how it wasn’t going to work, it didn’t have to be this hard but for some reason with Tyler it was.

I think you’re right about Ney missing the affection and feeling of someone loving him and to come home too.

She was often in Barcelona and when she was she was there for a really long time. Yeah I agree: it feels like they’re trying to force that ‘best couple of the world’ vibe on you. Like even Jelena wasnt that extra when they met up and continue to meet up tbh. They just looked really cute on that bike having fun (to compare comeback couples haha).

Davi on that boat looked bored indeed, but we can’t say they didn’t do anything fun. I mean with Carol he indeed looked like he had more fun, but thats also bc they made it fun for him. Big Island Splash, Mash, Dash!

Belated Aloha, forgive me for taking two weeks to write this!

I thought we had landed on the moon as I descended the plane stairs onto the island of black volcanic rubble. After nine plus hours of flying I had arrived at Triathlon Mecca, Kona, a little town on a wisp of land in the middle of a massive ocean, noisy with wind and hot as hades.

Hawaii is halfway between Sydney and Chicago so provided the perfect location for a rendezvous with my Dad whom I had not seen for over a year. (Aww, thanks for coming and sharing this with me Dad. ×××)

“Downtown” Kona is small and super cute but that week was COMPLETELY overrun with compression-wear trussed, trucker hat clad, slightly weather beaten, uber athletic types. I almost fit right in.

I was pleased to get up and out of the hype on my first night, having a home cooked meal with my dear friends Ben and Lillian at their B&B located on a flower farm way above Kona. Ben and Lillian are a fab couple I met running in Jersey City. I laughed off their prediction back in 2013 after my first 70.3 that I would one day race at Kona, thinking of course that will never happen because I will NEVER do an Ironman. I was beyond flattered to receive a message from these guys on my return home from IM Texas with my IMWC slot secured, telling me that they had booked their flights to Kona! Just wow.

At the suggestion of a friend I had signed up for the big charity Underpants run. Yes! Why not? It is for charity, I figured that if I had to endure running along behind ironmen in their tighty whities, well it would be worth it, for the charity of course. I wore a pair of huge granny dacks sporting a kangaroo waving an Aussie flag on the butt and dragged my poor Dad to the start line. He did not run, just observed… (that sounds way more creepy that it really was.) I met up with some friends Mike, a seasoned Kona participant and Jeff a green Kona rookie just like me.

We had a hoot, Mike and Jeff were happy to be stuck behind the Coeur Team girls, how shallow, I mean really? Post run “analysis” and breakfast at Evolution hit the spot. Oh a tip for Underpants Run rookies I gleaned from post race observation: sweaty tighty whities may leave you exposing a whole lot more than you anticipated.

Simon arrived on the Thursday. We had decided to leave the kids solo in Chicago… just kidding, our friends Alex and Theresa stepped in there. Theresa was so super cute, she called the schools to make sure the boys got there ok, drove the boys to their after school triathlon sessions and gave up their whole weekend too! What a load off our minds, we were so grateful.

I was able to squeeze in some down time. Dad, Simon and I spent Thursday afternoon sitting on the lanai of our apartment sipping a beer, watching the sun go down, taking a million photos and solving the world’s problems. I don't get to chill with my Dad too often, spending time with my Dad like that has left a warm little glow in my heart. It was one of my favorite moments of the trip. (My Dad hates being in photos, but I do manage to snag him in a few pics on this trip.)

As amiable and easy going as you all know me to be, I knew I would be prone to a little pre Ironman World Championships fretting. I did not want to expose my loved ones to my potential dragon lady side so I sent Simon and Dad off to explore Volcano National Park on the other side of the Island on Friday. A rather unwelcome visitor arrived on Friday, perhaps the best euphemism I can use is “Aunt Flo”, what a cow, she was not invited and I was not expecting to see her. She threw me in a bit of a spin, but I pulled it together and added dealing with that to my race plan.

I got my race gear together, checked my bike and checked in. What an awesome hype! I had forgotten that I had listed my occupation on the Ironman registration form as “Secret Agent.” As I walked down the red carpet to check in they called me out, “Here is Kelly Phuah, she is competing in the women’s 45-49 age group…” [pause] “she is a secret agent!” Haha, cover blown!

I was welcomed into Transition by my very own volunteer escort, Craig. Craig and his wife,  from Seattle, have been coming to the big Island for the last 10 years to volunteer for IMWC!

Whaaat!? I know right? Gulp, I felt a little overwhelmed at that moment. I racked my bike, hung my transition bags.  Then I stood for a few moments on the red carpet, I let myself feel special for being there before heading off to eat and find an air conditioner!

I found my friend Mike and we talked race stuff and spectator logistics tips while sipping protein shakes with our feet up. It was the perfect pre race afternoon.

Dinner that night was right down in the middle of all the action at Honu’s, overlooking the athlete area and swim start with Ben, Lillian, Dad and Simon. There was much discussion over the spectator plans and I shared my hopeful race splits to help them know where I would be at certain times. I was worried about how the day was going to be for everyone who had come all that way to watch. I knew it would be a long hot day for them too.

I had to have the Hawaiian Pizza, oh wow, caramelized pineapple and kalua shredded pork, It was awesome!

I got antsy all of a sudden in the middle of dinner when I realised that I was doing a freaking Ironman the next day. I rushed our farewells with Ben and Lillian and dragged Dad and Simon home. I have no clear memory of going to bed or how I slept, my mind just leaps to Simon and I driving down Alii Drive at 4am!

Race Day

Goal: under 11hrs.

Gosh, how much detail can you handle? Do I make it sound epic and glamorous? I guess if you are reading this then you are either a really good friend or a weird triathlon junkie so I will just give you the ugly truth.

Treading water with 600 other women waiting for the start canon was crazy. Everyone was apologetically kicking each other. I looked back at the crowd on the shore and the pier and let the swell of excitement pick me up. I sighted the 1st boat and wiggled a little closer to the front. The cannon boomed and we turned from polite and apologetic to tiger sharks. I was kicked, swam over and grabbed, I had to restart my watch 3 times because the stop button was kicked. I am quite sure I did my fair share of kicking others too, it was impossible not to. And at one stage I found myself laying completely on top of another athlete, I have no idea where she,came from!

I found my rhythm eventually and was able to start really swimming. By about half way I could feel my speedsuit cutting into my neck and throat as I was sighting and turning to breathe. It left quite a good chafe and I looked like I had been strangled. I snuck a peak at my watch as we made the turn at the boats, I was happy to see I was on schedule for my goal of a sub 70min swim. I was enjoying the water, it was clear and fairly calm. I could see the bottom. I picked out a blue swim cap on the bottom and wondered if it’s owner was down there too. I made the last push to the pier and grabbed the stairs, I ripped off my speed suit with glee and made my way around to T1 on wobbly legs.

I rinsed off my face with some fresh water, grabbed my bag and dove into the tent, and with the help of another volunteer it was suit off, socks on, shoes on, glasses on, food in pocket, loo stop #1 and out to my bike. Helmet on and go go go.

I settled in and got out onto the Queen K thinking ok Kona, show me what you’ve got, bring it, do your worst.

I had a plan, hold watts for an IF around .68-.69. Yeah, naa, that just did not feel right. I was hot and pushing those watts just felt a little more taxing than it should so I backed off a little and kept a closer eye on my effort than my watts. I guess the wind was kind because even at the lower watts I was still on schedule for a 5:40 bike.

The best tip from Mike, stay wet all day. So at every aid station I was grabbing a cold bottle of water and pouring it all over my body, it was keeping me relatively cool.

I was keeping an eye out for girls in my age group, I passed a few and but noticed as we got closer to the finish that we were all getting a little feisty and not letting each other get too far away.

The climb up to Hawi was the first time that I really felt good, not being familiar with the course had made me a little reserved but when I hit that climb I felt like I just had this one hard bit and I was more than half way. I made the turn for home at the top and launched myself down that descent with a mission. So much fun! I was ticking down the miles and aiming to be out on the run course in under 7hrs and that kept me on the gas all the way back into Kona.

Ugh, triathletes are disgusting, the visor on my helmet was totally aero but also saved me from taking a snot rocket the face. “Dude!!” I shouted as I passed, he looked really sorry, but still, look over your shoulder before you launch. Same goes for the girl taking a wee. Being splashed by someone else's piss is not cool either.

My guts were feeling a little sketchy nearing the end of the bike, I took a couple of Imodium hoping to hold off the horrible tummy cramps etc I seem to be prone to on the run.

I came hurtling down the bike finish chute, eyeballing my volunteer bike catcher, I dismounted like a swan gliding in for a landing on a lake while seamlessly passing my bike to the catcher. They will probably be playing that footage in the Kona highlights, because it was so  freaking pro.

Into T2 in my socks, grabbed by bag, ripping off clothes as I ran, sort of like Superman - until my arms got hopelessly snagged in my super tight bike jersey and I resembled something more like a mad person trying to escape a straightjacket.  Yay for those volunteers. So, shoes on, race belt in hand, loo stop #2 and off on the run.

Bahaaa, happens every time, my body rejoices for the 1st 2 km and I am lulled into a false sense of, “Oh hell yeah, I am going to be so amazing.” A quick glance at my overall time on my watch had me out on the run course in under 7 hours, yessss. I felt so confident that I was going to make that 11hr goal.  All I had to do was manage a 4 hr marathon. Then at about kilometer 3 it began to suck.  I saw my posse again at around this point, Simon and Ben ran alongside, giving me my position in the field and who was where, at that moment, they could have told me that there was a lion chasing me and it would not have made the bit of difference to my pace.  

I ran on in misery, downing a couple more Imodium for my increasingly cranky gut.  I had been taking salt tabs every hour, I had had mucho electrolytes and fluids on the bike and about 200 cals/hr all tried and tested and to plan.

Anyway, my mood began to shift, the discomfort in my gut was relieved for a little while.  I was given a huge piece of ice at an aid station. I sucked it, rubbed it on my body, down my legs and sides, down my arms and over my face, I bit little pieces off and when it was small enough it put it down my top. (My gosh, that almost sound erotic - it quite possibly was!) By the time I was heading back along Alii Drive and saw my posse again, I was a different girl.

I got down to business, thinking, tidy posture, keep hydrated and wet.  I was sad to see a few girls in my AG glide by but just kept to my own race and reminded myself that a sub 11 hr race was my goal and that racing someone else's game was not smart. There were 2 more loo stops on the run course, the last being out on Energy Lab road with about 16k / 10miles to go.  After that I was feeling much better. I made it up out of the Energy Lab climb and headed for home gritting my teeth to hold on to that 4 hr marathon but intermittently smiling because I totally knew I was going to do it.

I was surprised to see another friend Liz cheering me on as I turned off the Queen K down Palani rd. Eek, that downhill was ugly, ouch, I felt like a robot, horrible form that I just could not fix at that point. I nearly cried when Simon told me I had a mile to go. A mile! Oh just make this OVER! Finally I entered the finish chute with an idiotic grin, feeling emotional, tired and proud. I punched the air 2 times as I crossed the finish line.

So much room for improvement!

A friend asked me that night if I was keen to do it again, it only took one sleep for that answer to go from no way to yeah, I need another crack at that.

I got to spend another couple of days with Dad before we took off to opposite sides of the earth again. I was glad we got to see the town transform back into the cute little town it is 51 weeks of the year.

I am surrounded by really hard working and intelligent people, people who inspire me to push myself and to be humble. (Well, I try with the humble bit.) I don't know many people more hard working and intelligent than Simon, he blows me away with his own dedication and humility and I live my life struggling to keep up with him. He is my biggest fan and I would not be doing any of this without his support.

My race experience was made really special with the support and fun with Ben, Lillian, Dad, Mike, Jeff, Liz and and Simon. Oh guys, thanks a million.

The online messages and texts from my family, my INTENT team mates, and friends were wonderful!! Pre race pep talks from my very good friend Jeff kept me in check. Much love to everyone who was following my race online and cheering along at home

My coach Rick Schopp at INTENT is also one of those inspiring people, I have put myself into painville at his instruction so many times but I am still here, I am still keen and I am getting faster. He has shown me that the pain pays off. Sending me the Urban dictionary definition of whinge when I slightly lost my shit during my second last intense training week leading into Kona was just the kick in the pants I needed.

He would be super nervous and start making a million scenarios in his head, as he wouldn’t be sure if you just wanted to sleep in his bed, or sleep with him. So he would just pull the typical Wonho move, play it cool (and collapsing in an embarrassment breakdown 2 seconds later).

You: Wonho… Would it be awkward if we slept together? Wonho: No at all… Pfff… Wait a second, though. Do you mean sleep, sleep, or sleep sleep, because if it’s the second one… You: Wonho, for God sake… I’m literally just gonna close my eyes and pass out. Chill, boy. What did you have in mind? Wonho: Me??? Nothing… Of couse I knew you meant that… *sweats*

This little savage would try to act like it’s not big deal while he would actually be so happy inside because he’s gonna have the chance to have you sleeping in his own bed. He would still try to hide his true feelings for you.

You: Can I sleep in your bed tonight? I’m too lazy to go back home. Hyungwon: Of course not. I’ll give you a blanket, you are sleeping on the floor.  You: HYUNGWON! Like I.M, he would be a little shy about it, but he would definitely handle it better than him. He would make sure you were ok with the whole thing, and he would even dare to give it a try to see if you maybe feel the same way about him.

Vegas 2017

Okay I promised a massive write up so here we go. LOL this is my ENTIRE trip fyi not just the shows. but CLEARLY the shows and all the stuff that goes with it is in here in large quantities. Under the cut:

I'm just starting off with something that i'm not going to be writing this pretty because it's 1:30am lol. Anyway... So I got there at like nearly 11pm their time which was my like 2am lol and finally got to the shuttle area and got on (next time im skipping the shuttles and just using lyft) and then the dude forgot about me and this other woman and so it took a MILLION YEARS!! to get to the hotel and I was late :( like wtf we were supposed to be like the 2nd people dropped off. RIDICULOUS!! lol thank goodness they at least had a room but it was a smoking room and SUPER creepy lmao but we got to switch the next day thank goodness. SO anyway all i did once i got there was eat part of a creepy sandwhich (lol) and video chat my mother who was also amused by the creepiness of the room when I showed her LOL and then showered and attempted to sleep... I had barely got asleep when Kayley got there and she had keys to the room but they didn't work weirdly and knocked on the door to which i promptly fell out of the bed hahaha and let her in and it was odd because it was like Hi there first time meeting face to face but it didn't feel that way at all and we just talked and then fell asleep  ahahha and then when we FINALLY got up we were like ok well let's go downstairs and walk around before we leave. So, we're in the casino when suddenly this guy that worked there was all "Hold up, how you gonna wear a Three's Company shirt without the original cast?" to Kayley (the start of one hilarious day of wearing that shirt tbh) and we were amused and we started talking to this guy and he was just VERY enthusiastic over Three's Company. And he was like yelling about it in the middle of the casino lmao he was not a Terri fan whatsoever. hahaha This went on for like at least 10 minutes. It was super amusing. Then after that we went to the box office and got our tickets for the shows and then we were just walking around and suddenly I spotted Ryan (why was it always me who spotted everyone? good grief!) and I was like OH my god THERE's RYAN!! and she was like WHERE?? and I was like seriously? you can't see the giant at the poker table?! LMAO finally she saw him and we got the giggles!! and we were like omg and we walked around again just to like look at Ryan. Hahahaha and then that's when I noticed Jeff at the bar. LOL and I didn't say anything at first because I wasn't sure if it was him so I made us walk by it again and sure enough it was and I was like oh man there's Jeff and she was like where? and I was like over there! and we were just standing there and i was pointing (thank goodness he had his back to us lmao) and I was like I know it's him because he's wearing one of those ugly hats LMAO (it's ok rob wears them too sometimes)  then the rest of the time was spent walking around for a few because I was trying to decide if the woman he was talking to was actually Cassandra or an old woman because apparently she looks like an old woman to me. Or at least from the side/back. hahahaha but then we got the giggles too bad and I literally was like nope we have to go our room NOW. I was like I must banish us!! I did not want to be seen acting like a giggling 12 year old lmao...so we got up there and then had a major giggle attack and once we calmed down we then went back down and walked around a bunch more we were trying to figure out if we could approach or not but we never ended up doing it but I did at least discover it was in fact Cassandra when we got the courage up to walk a little closer. hahahaha then we were like okay this is ridiculous we are ridiculous and we decided we had to get something to eat cuz neither of us had eaten anything and it was like 3pm lmao (we be creepin) so we went to the restaurant there at the hotel and that's when we were like ok so we don't have any time to do like half of what we wanted to do that day since we spent so much of it either sleeping or creeping lmao  so we ended up just going out and walking around a lot and getting ice cream, and giggling over it because #thegoldencone 

Throughout this entire time random dudes just kept commenting on her shirt. Like nonstop. one even sang the theme song to us lmao! It was really funny and so random...we appreciated it!!! SOOOO...fast forward to the show! We get there to wait to go in and decide to take pics with the poster because why not?

Hahaha took some pics for other girls and they took some for us... and then when Kayley was taking mine I just pointed and had no idea but I was ironically pointing at Jeff I was amuse dby this and there was a guy watching it happening who was laughing at me and i was like listen here pally, i love them a lot ok? (in my head) he was gone when i was done hahahaha

so we get inside and see our seats and are slightly surprised with wherethey were (it looked diff online) but still impressed cuz SO CLOSE. and we are giddy and happy and everything

and thennnn we find out we do get to fill out sentences which was great though this time around neither of us got any of them read. but that's OK. and then when Greg came out he was asking the questions he normally asks and he asked like what is your favorite movie? and I yelled out The Nutty Professor because I knew I wanted to yell out a jerry movie because well it's jerry but i wanted one that the majority of people would actually know (it's not actually my fave) and he was like "oh wow i wasn't expecting that" very amused HAHA and then he ya know announced them to come out and i about lost my shit when jeff and ryan came out lmao i cheered for joel but i wasn't as keen on him at this point (i mean i didn't hate him!! i liked him!! i just wasn't all !!!! but it's changed now!!) and then it started. it was a sort of odd show i feel like at first they took a little longer to get going. I mean they were still super funny but they were kinda awkward about it for a bit?? And after talking to joel i understand why, they weren't used to being so far away from the crowd. I sadly can't remember as much about the first show as I can the second. Hopefully Kayley can help fill in some blanks and remind me. Lol. I mean there was the ICONIC sentences game. Some super loud drunk dude down front yelled out Poultry Porn for a suggestion lmaoo and they went with it and it was WILD. Ryan was an ex starlet turned CHICKEN pornstar (and Jeff's sorta semi ex lover) who was just happy to still be on film LMAO. it was a whole thing. Nonstop really inappropriate shit happened. At one point the actual guy who suggested it was like "THIS IS SO WRONG" outloud and Jeff was like "YOU FUCKING SUGGESTED IT!" LMAO at one point there was some oohs and ahhs cuz it just was getting REALLY wild and disturbing...I think at one point I was just like "oh my god what the hell is happening in front of right now" out loud and I know for sure Ryan heard it cuz he was right infront of me at the time and he kinda was laughing. There was a really great cock joke in there (because chickens) i wish i could remember it. ugh. And then Jeff was all IT'S TIME! and Made Ryan have to pretend to be in a porno with a chicken and it ended with Ryan JERKING OFF A CHICKEN LMAOOOOOOOOOOO and Jeff walked back out and was all OK LET'S STOP IT THERE and Ryan was like REALY? REALLY? IT SHOULD HAVE STOPPED LONG BEFORE THAT!! LMAO His face was PRICELESS. omg... hahahaha and from there it got wild!! lmao Then the girl sitting next to me was the one picked to have Jeff sing to her (I just want it to be me. why can't it be me?) and she was terrified to be on stage tbh lmao she was there with her mother i guess and i don't really remember much but i do remeber at one point she just casually put her hand on jeff's thigh and he suddenly looked down surprised HAHAHA and she quickly took it away but he grabbed her hand and put it back ahaha and then slowly raised her hand til she was basically grabbing him it was so funny moving people was pretty funny as usual but i can't remmeber any details right now im sorry. but the sound effects one was really lame this time tbh one of the girls was relaly good and the other one was just awful but at one point ryan was trying to just get her to make a sound so he pretended he had a megaphone and was trying to get her to say stuff or make noise or anything but she just...wasn't. And he was all YOU'D THINK YOU'D HEAR MY VOICE THIS THIN IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU SOUND FUCKING LOUD! or something lmao and the girl was all "THIS IS MY FUCKING VOICE" or something like that lmaooo and they all lost it and ryan was like "oops, have it set to mega bitch" LMAO! and Jeff was all OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH in the back it was so funny hmm let's see...greatest hits was a blast! LOL They did a french song about douching lmaoo and a rat pack esque song i believe too which was great. There was another one too because they accidentally did 4 that night hahaha i can't remeber what it was??? But the iconic one was definitely the rock opera. I think it was supposed to be about plumbing but I forget and honestly they strayed WAY off soit's OK. Anyway it was supposed to Greg and Jeff that night but Greg was like I'm OUT lmao and told Ryan and Joel to do it and they were like OK. Lmao and so they went in and At first Jeff let the start it up and it was so great but then Jeff did join in it was honestly the most massive greatest hits song i've ever seen or heard them do tbh. the song itself lasted AT LEAST 10 minutes and all 4 ended up involved by the time it was done lmao Jeff ran out into the crowd and was trying to be the disco ball God but the lighting guys were not on their job lmaoo and he couldn't get the disco balls to work no matter how much prompting he would do and it was hilarious and then the fog machines went off instead and ryan and joel were all "the house is on fire! gotta put it out! the house is on fire! gotta put it out!" all dramatically in song toward it lmaoo it was WILD i was dying omg it was truly epic hahaha and then Jeff ran up to the light guys to get it working and they FINALLY came on only to be shut off not long after and he was all THEY JUST FUCKING WENT OUT but then they finally got them going again omg hahaha and jeff like ran back up on stage and was all im gonna go drink backstage and pretended to walk off the stage hahahaha but by the end of the song even greg joined in and like ryan was on the floor just rolling around joel was like exhausted in the corner greg was dancing and jeff was just dramatically stomping off the stage. lmao it was just so wild omg it was amazing.  then they said goodnight and we just sat there for a few cuz we were way down there and there was so many people going and we just needed a moment. then we like went out and were like ok...what do we do...and we stood there for a bit then i was like eh let's walk around so we did and then we went back and there were some others there then waitin and we were talking to them for  abit and then we were like let's walk around so we don't look creepy (as if it could help) but then time when we were rounding back we saw they were out and we wer elike OMG! and we literally just started running. WE RAN THROUGH THE CASINO. lmao right before we got around the corner i was like OK WE GOTTA STOP WE CAN'T LET THEM SEE US hahahaha so we did and we tried to casually walk up. HAhaha I saw Jeff was with some girls so i was like OK. Greg. and I was like HI 2 times and then i did everyhting i already wrote about that hahaha and same with jeff hAhah got our pics embarrassed ourselves especially me hahahah omg i forgot about how kayley didn't know how to operate my phone and just flashed my phone at us thank goodness he couldn't see my wallpaper cuz #embarrassing lmao! but then we giggled after and stood around for a long while just like freaking out by a bush and then i thought it was totally normal and OK to just creep them from behind said bush and we did this for like a solid hour. damn. why didn't we just go in the bar this night? oh well. HAhahaha Anyway at one point i was snapping pictures from behind the bush lmao :

and just as i was about get one of jeff standing and kinda looking but not really we locked eyes and he noticed me and he smirked at me!!!! and then like walked away and I turned around wide eyed in a freak out to kayley and was all JEFF JUST SAW ME CREEPING!!!!!!!!!!!! WE LOCKED EYES. THERE WAS SMIRKING. LMAOOOOOo I SAID IT SO LOUD EVERYONE COULD HEAR ME. I was so loud the whole time and embarrassing I swear. (the last 2 picd were RIGHT before it happened lmaooo) I was a whole other person in Vegas.. lol!!! As I said...Vegas changes you... hahahhaa and then i was like omg ok we need to go so I'm not even creepier lmao and so we went out and went to denny's and ate toast because, yes. then we came in and tried to sleep ad junk and again the next day we walked around and saw Ryan. but that was it. Then we went out and we did madame toussands and stuff

and then we went to Pierro's which is this amazing Italian place that Jerry frequents (how we knew about it) and it's super old school. Not just old school Vegas but just...old school. They even wear the white waiter coats! The food is SO good and they give you SO much but it is pretty expensive so it's definitely a vacation kind of place for me at least. hahaha I couldn't even finish all of my food which made me sad to pay that kind of money and not be able to finish it...but ya know.

then we left and went back to the hotel and just as we were getting in the elevator there was jeff and cassandra and this time kayley spotted them but the only reason i didn't is because I simply had my back to them and was facing her and she was trying to warn me but i couldn't hear her and then they were just standing tehre so she was all "something is coming" and just as she was saying that i saw him out of the corner of my eyes because he's so massive hahaha and they pushed the button for the elevator anyway ours opened at the same time as the one opened on the other side and we walked in ours and she started walking into the other one but jeff decided he was going to ride with us instead i guess hahaha cuz next thing i know he was walking in and i was like O_O inside tbh and then she quickly followed and i wa slike what is happening omggg I did my best poker face ever there because i was internally screaming if im being honest. He was just in there talking about how he was sick and loosing his voice and how his throat hurt and junk but he was like i'll be fine for the show haha and kinda looked at us and he was like warming up his voice and stuff and then he was patting himself down and was all "i really need to find a lint brush" LOL it was really funny. and then we got ready quickly after of course dying some more nad then we went to the show and got in our seats which we switched who sat where that night just because it was fair and then the show started and it was great! HAHAHA they were at some amusement park but the girls just put jeff and greg into really inappropriate postions the ENTIRE time. Like they were just so close i was dying it all happened directly infront of me too. and at one point greg was talking about never having jeff's balls on his as much as he had in that moment LMAO and then they were so close that there lips were touching each others faces and they were loosing it when they were talking and at one point jeff was just power tool tonguing at me from the stage tbh and i lost it entirely and then finally the girls moved them over to try to get on the "ride" that ryan was apparently the runner of lmao but the girl just made jeff majorly squat and it wasso hard to watch because he was clearly in pain LMAO and Ryan was loosing it and he was like THIS IS NOT RIGHT! Ryan kept trying to upstage Jeff and at one point Jeff was like "CAN I JUST SING A FUCKING LINEEE?" and he'd sing like 1 and then Ryan interupted again LMAO it was so funny but then when they got to the last one which was an 80s song (i squeed cuz greg mentione the pet shop boys lmao) and ryan did his freaking get up as the 80s guy and i lost it and jeff was just singing away not looking at him and ryan was trying to ge thim to so he put it inot the words so jeff turned around and his reaction was priceless and he started singing about ryan being a creepy looking dude. and the song was supposed to about roofers. but it just veered off. at one point ryan was singing about pitchin a tent and shit lmao but they kept getting all over each other like hardcore Lmaooo and at one point jeff was like behind ryan all sexually but he smooshed him down too much that the bottles started faling out of his shirt and jeff was trying to put them back in and ryan was all 'it's tooooo late nowwww" lmaooo and then jeff proceeded to start like humping him and making faces and he was all "I'M THE TOP............YOU'RE THE BOTTOM!!!" I was screaming at him arms flailing my heavyNY accent was A GO! lmao I was so pissed and he was a JERK like to everyone i genuinely wish i remembered his name and shit so i could report him and get him reprimanded or fired or something because he is like on my list of evil people he even LOOKS like a creep. like for real. he kept making me seem like i was an idiot and at that point i was so sick and so sick i was just like GONE. lmao but after my panic attack i finally found someone who wasn't a jerk and hse helped me get a decent flight and a hotelr oom and junk and then i got there and stuff bad happened there too and i was like ??? was i too lucky in Vegas?? I received a letter from my employer last December stating that I did not have to change anything in regards to the Affordable Health Care Act. Two months later, I received a letter from my insurance company saying that I have inadequate coverage and need to visit healthcare.gov to find different coverage. I found new coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield through healthcare.gov (I was planning on going BCBS anyway). I asked the woman who I spoke with when I should cancel my previous insurance benefits. She replied Wait a couple of weeks until you get all of your new information from BCBS . Here's where the issue comes in. When I contacted Nationwide (my previous insurance company) to cancel they said I had to fill out and send back a form. Basically, the form asked why I was cancelling. Go figure there was no option for them not having the correct benefits. Anyway, I sent that back and proof of my new policy (they wanted the effective date) Nationwide DENIED my request to cancel stating that I only had 30 days from the time my new coverage began to inform them. Everything I try, my insurance quote is always 3K+ however I did manage to get it to 2.6k with a 'black box scheme'. I understand as a 17 year old male car insurance is always going to be steep and 2.6K is probably a good quote but is it at ALL possible to get a quote for around 2K or less? I won immunity!! Wooooo! So I'm actually fairing a lot better than I thought I would be this season. My tribe seems to like me and they aren't seeming to be worried about any relationships I might have with the villains, which is good! If I had it my way then the heroes wouldn't have to see another tribal, the less villains at merge the better! :p That being said, I am glad to have individual immunity, A) because it's my first individual win in the Atomic series and B) because you can never be too safe, and I'm always paranoid!

I don't have much to add, unfortunately. Last round's tribal council went as well as I had assumed it would go with one person self-voting, a vote against me, and the rest for Adil who ended up leaving. I assume that the others lied to Adil in saying they were voting for me which kind of scares me that they were okay with just throwing my name around but also doesn't scare me because they did it with no intention of following through. I think, if I heard Logan right (I probably didn't) that when Adil did vote for me that he said something about how he hoped I didn't play an idol? I... dunno for sure, but that's interesting since I feel at this point that it's impossible to even have an idol since finding one takes a million steps or getting lucky like whoever that person is who has immunity this round. Anyway, I decided to look for an idol because that's what you do ??? and I found a walking stick. I'm really proud of my walking stick and have chosen to put on a Gandalf costume to go along with it. I shall speak friend and enter.
