tbh anytime i think about pjotv my mind just. gets absolutely fucking boggled. the amount of shit they didnt explain. why sally stays with gabe, how adhd and dyslexia are fixtures in a demigod’s life, LUKE’S QUEST, the mist, WHY THE PACT OF THE BIG THREE EXISTS, why the gods are in america… for a show that has an ungodly amount of exposition dump they sure glossed over a lot of important plot and lore details!

#and if they did in fact explain these things the fact that i cant remember them is criminal. it means it didnt make an impression on me #im sure theres a shitton more other things they bypassed lol feel free to add on below #my meta #pjotv crit #i respect rick wanting to go back on writing choices that may not have aged well #but axing them entirely doesnt do the narrative any favors #like the flame of western civilization etc etc -> which i think there is a way to do it properly #but my point is: at least try to come up with an alternative????
