I second the appreciation of keeping tgirl Hiccup’s name the same! Hiccup is a perfectly gender neutral name imho 😤 in my own fic poor Hiccup and his sister Hiccup literally have to share the same name cuz their parents and the Naming Dame have no originality when it comes to naming preemies on Berk lmaooo

I suppose it could be worse…I mentioned to a fellow writer that other “runt” names could be something traumatic like Inconsequential or Trifling or Twerplout or Leftovers 😭

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS hiccup is a gender neutral name truthers UNITE. it's a perfectly good name (though me and a friend have spent some time debating about the logistics of changing your name on berk that hiccup could hypothetically face, if it wasn't the name hiccup was born with)

YOUR FIC ITS SO GOOD!!! the double hiccup haddock horrendous the third trouble is absolutely hysterical to me. i love the different nicknames that stem from such, too... because no way would gobber holler hiccup the elder's full name across the forge. although, i suppose there would be something veryyyyy intimidating at getting your full name AND your birth order called out when you're in trouble...
