okay finally listened to the new podcast ep and. um. davrin 🥴🥴🥴
#im still nervous about how they’re going to treat him being dalish#because im tired of BioWare equating a desire to preserve the culture and history of a people whose history#has repeatedly been attempted to be eradicated by a colonizing force#with like… stodgy navel gazing and antithetical to working towards the future#ESPECIALLY in a game where like. the antagonist is already clearly going to be representing what a negative codependent relationship#with the past will bring about#like the subject has been explored! we don’t need another elf who low key thinks history preservation is for chumps#anyways. that was a big ramble. the podcast ep was totally clear of any hints of that worry btw. im just not gonna stop worrying#until i play the game myself. because I don’t trust bioware with anything.#davrin is cute btw i think he might suffer from being a bit silly syndrome 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
