#you ever think about this#im sorry to take amber as a house metaphor but the whole show is a house metaphor#house is a house metaphor#but like#remember when house and cameron went to monster trucks#remember when house went to the bar with his fellows#and he had a good time#and wilson had to bribe everyone with money to do it#and cameron only liked him bc of her own problems#im sorry to be such a house appologist like dont hang out with people you dont like or whatever#but like the tragedy of house at the end of the day is that he in every part of his life is so alone#his disability his conditioning his trauma his autism his addiction#the fact that at its heart house is a tragedy at every turn#telegraphing his impending doom at every turn#and the only salvation he ever gets from that is by accepting that its unavoidable#and not trying to wrestle with it#just loving wilson because he cant do anything else#and knowing that loving him means watching him die
