I feel like i’ve done this here at least once
#because ok. in. the odyssey#there’s no constraint on how much time they can spend focusing on any specific thing#it was originally just somethting that was memorised and recited#there were interpretations of moments from epics all over greek art#and the dream smp. its also. not something made with the intention of being written down#there’s a lot of different versions of the same general story based on who’s twlling it#minecraft provides an idea for what the art is but the artists have a ton of freedom for interpretation#and like they can take their time with different arcs and stuff because there’s no like strict time schedule as would be with a normal book#or movie or tv show#im sorry im just. very passionate about greek literature and minecraft roleplay#(also bc they reference it but anyway)
