Faye and Arashi were on a date at a cafe they often frequented, both sharing a parfait, when Faye casually brought that up.

“ hm? and how so, sweetie?”

Arashi asked, her hands folded under her chin.

“ i-it’s not in a bad way, i promise! It’s just, whenever we go on dates like this, o-or whenever we spend time together, i get so much more confident. It’s like, i can speak and i know i won’t be ignored , or i can take risks..Your confidence might be rubbing off on me, naruchan. ”

Faye chuckles, eating a spoonful of parfait.

“ oh, Faye, you’re so adorable sometimes, you know that?”

Arashi reaches for Faye’s hand across the small table, laying her hand on top of Faye’s.

“but, i want you to know that it isn’t my confidence rubbing off on you. You’re becoming more confident in yourself, Faye, and that makes me so, incredibly happy.”

A slight pink began to color Faye’s cheeks as she stuttered.

“o-oh, really? w-well, if you’re happy, then I’m happy, naruchan..”
