Because xkit hasn’t fixed all extensions yet after the latest tumblr update, I gotta do the oldfashioned c+p lol

I second you going to the doc to get blood tests. Im not sure where you live as to how much it would cost you, but getting a test that establishes a “baseline” consisting of test results to assess blood counts, kidney function, liver function, electrolytes, total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, and thyroid function values would benefit. You may have issues converting glucose or glycogen into energy. Or it could be low iron, or thyroid issues. This kind of panel is what i'm talking about. https://www.nuffieldhealth.com/tests-scans/wellness-screening
Also, as far as low carb is concerned, my go-to meal 3x/week is modified stirfry. Stirfry veg (no corn, small amount of carrot), chicken, and sub in more bean sprouts for noodles. Make a creamy sauce using grated creamed coconut (it usually comes in blocks) and Thai spices. The creamed coconut melts and mixes well with the spices. Takes 10 mins and I could eat it forever. One more thing lol. Not sure if youve tried it, but roasted Brussels sprouts are so much better than the traditional boiled. Cut them in half, sprinkle them with s&p and olive oil & balsamic vinegar. Toss to coat, and pop them in the oven at 180C for 20 mins or so until they get nice and roasted. They lose that weird taste and theyre great with steak.
A full blood exam usually costs 80€ I guess, unless the doc thinks it’s necessary. My GP tested lots of stuff 2 years ago and everything was fine. (I was so sure that my iron level is fucked up because of my heavy periods, but nope.) But she remembered that she hasn’t checked my T3 and T4 levels and then found out that I have hypothyroidism. I’m taking meds since almost 2 years and my thyroxine levels are normal/stable sind 1,5 years. Just the symptoms didn’t go away. So the fatigue is probably caused by a mental illness. Though I’ve heard from other people that they got sent to endocrinologists and neurologists to be absolutely sure that there is no physical cause, but my GP said she doesn’t think it’s necessary. She will retired this month, so maybe I should ask the new doc about it. I have to go there anyway next week because I’ve read that a ketogenic diet can influence your thyroxine levels and maybe the dose of my meds have to be adjusted. Maybe she will check other things as well when she deemed them necessary.
Oh, my family loves stirfry! Because you can combine any veggies you like with some meat (we usually choose sausage or poultry) or not and just use some flavored cream cheese for the sauce. But we never had asian-style stirfry with soy bean sprouts. I gotta check the creamed coconut, damn there are so many different coconut products, like milk, cream, oil, mush, flakes, flour... Huh, I’ve never heard of roasted/baked brussels sprout! Though I’m not sure if I like the balsamic vinegar taste better, I’m not a big fan of vinegar. But I think my mom once fried them in butter and that was when I got the closest to liking brussels sprout haha...
Thanks for your reply!
