Have you been watching the new Black Butler season? If so how do you like it?

I have! I know it doesn't seem like it on here bc im more active on Twitter but it's been soooo refreshing to see the Kuro fandom (and sebaciel fandom) flourishing again. We've always been somewhat active but given the fact that it's been years since we've gotten a new animated arc and since Sebastian and Ciel have appeared in manga...it's just been such a wonderful experience.

I will say I was kind of worried the new artstyle would throw me off a little bit, and the opening theme wasn't what I immediately would associate with Kuroshitsuji (I'm so used to SID and GazettE) but they grew on me right away! Really wasn't aware of how much I missed watching Sebaciel be mischievous and conniving together again lol, it's absolutely entertaining! Ciel is most certainly giving Sebastian a run for his money, the poor devil. I dont think this is what he had in mind when they made the contract. Mans thought he was getting a lil snack and now he's here, 3 years later dressed as a priest and playing teacher while making treats and doing housework 😭😭😭

Also, love how they return to their penchant of committing arson this arc??? Lmfaooo these two just cannot get enough of setting shit on fire dbdhdnshdbsdbs. And this will not be the last time bc I know if we ever get the Green Witch arc animated (hoping we don't have to wait another 7 years for it 😭💀) they r going to have the time of their LIFE destroying the facility lol.

I'm really eager to see the (spoilers) face off they have with Undertaker again. Several ppl over on the bird app brought up how Sebastian seems to almost start spiraling and envisioning UT getting to Ciel again while, in reality UT is not even moving, let alone getting anywhere close to Ciel. It's like his version of entering a building and immediately trying to locate all the exits. I never realized it until someone put it into words, but I think Sebastian might have developed some degree of PTSD/gotten traumatized after that encounter with UT on the Campania, and he doesn't even realize it. It's quite interesting to see this normally smug and put together being that most ppl find to be nearly omnipotent, go up against someone who manages to not only best him in a fight (I do feel like Sebastian met his match that day. He's still very ferocious immediately afterwards and able to defend Ciel from the bizarre dolls in the boat but UT left unscathed) but also damage his mind (Sebastian literally got flashbacks like bro...how very human of u).

Sorry I feel like this got very off track lmfaooo u literally asked me if I liked the new season and I'm over here like "yeah and omg I think Sebastian might be the first demon to get ptsd ever".

TLDR: I'm absolutely loving it and I'm so excited for the major big bad to appear this arc! What about you?
