if you don’t cry, at best he will be an awkward listener—but a good listener nonetheless. if you cry, though, honestly he will panic. this guy is already not good with his own emotions, so you need to be clear about what you want with him. he is not the best with words though, and advice he offers is usually either “let me just fix this for you” or a straight up detached, objective one that is better offered to someone with a cool head and controlled emotion. therefore, more often than not, he opts to just listen and hold your hand. he will try to help, though, and if he can’t—at the very least you will get a really menacing guard dog who won’t let anyone mess with you while you are trying to get up. (also, go tell him to buy something. his credit card is ready and feeling like he is doing something for you is good for the both of you.)

itoshi gene is harsh and he is somehow worse than his brother in this scenario. he is a naturally critical person towards anything. if you are ready to get your fault pointed out and think up a “what can i do to make this better or avoid this from happening again” go to him, but if you are looking for someone who will listen or give validation, as much as you love him, don’t. him and a terrible headspace is not a good combination. however, a direct “can you hug me?” or a “can you do something for me?” is not completely out of the question—he, after all, still cares about you. high chance he won’t ask, especially if you said you don’t want to say anything, but in this situation the softer part of him who has a hard time saying no to you truly comes out. a movie night, even if it involves the goddamned fries, would happen. he is smart enough to know when to spoil you, especially since he knows your habits and tendencies by heart.

the sort of person who sees a hint of gloom on your face and immediately cradles it with a tenderness that no one would expect from someone with his build. he is a good, caring person by nature, if you are looking for someone to help you, he is the best choice. he can be clumsy sometimes and the words he gives to cheer you up have a high chance of being uttered with a lot of pauses in the middle—but the way he acts will probably be enough to bring a smile to your face again (and he will also smile along with you when this happen because by god you are his happiness). all those aside, high chance he can’t give advice, but he will give you top-notch cheering up—words, actions, cuddles, everything—along with genuine validation. (especially after wild card, he has seen hell. “feeling terrible” is something he understands a lot.)

jokes aside, as i love to bully him a bit here, objectively—this really depends on the sort of type of person you are. if you are looking for advice or validation or a listener—not him. but if you are the sort of person who prefers a distraction or the “tough love” sort of motivation that is more scathing and heartless—borderline degrading—he is the one. out of spite, his words are probably enough to spur you into action, forgetting whatever blue feeling you have as it has turned into a red raging anger. however, a little note, believe it or not, this actually comes from a caring place in his heart. kaiser is someone with many, many harsh edges—and this comes more from “i rather see you angry and living than seeing you down without me being able to do anything” root that he rather die than say out loud.

the best you could get is a passive listener. worse you can get is a passive listener who still plays games. the worst you can get is that one scene where isagi has a legitimate concern and gets his hair pulled by this guy. another one who is better to have as a company in seeking distraction for the time than anything. but, despite how admittedly terrible he is in cheering you up with words, he truly makes it up by action when it finally hits him how down and different you are. it will take a few hours or a few days, but he will get there. afterward, expect many small sweet gestures ranging from cute gifts, your favorite snacks, et cetera. your chatroom with him will too suddenly get noisy with many cute stickers and “u ok? :x” for at least a few weeks. (also he is shameless enough to ask out loud to his teammates about what should he do with you when he realizes how stuck he is. so hey. there is that: possible extra brains if you need a solution.)

common knowledge that he never shies away from using that money of his when he needs to and this is one of those situations where he genuinely considers taking you away for a trip so you can feel better near a sunny beach or a peaceful lake—you pick. if you don’t want that, however, this guy is still the best when it comes to understanding you and will be there until you give him a smile. what else do you expect from someone with a complete set of love languages? do watch out though, he is also someone who could get angry pretty quickly, especially when it involves something or someone he cares about—and this time it’s you. on a brighter note, though, this means if you are looking for someone to shit talk with, he is the one. he is a smart caring boyfriend, so talking with him during this time will do a lot of good to you. a good advice along with good validation.

everything was going wrong today, and you truly meant every. fucking. thing.

somehow, you had managed to turn your alarm off the night before (probably because you fell asleep while on your phone, accidentally calling your mom in you sleep in the process), and none of the guys took the initiative to wake you up when they got up.

okay, sure, you couldn’t blame them entirely. you were a grown woman, and you could look after yourself. but weren’t you supposed to be a team? eight other people surrounding you, and none of them thought to check on you? especially when you were usually up and alert before they were? no, instead they were all out the door without even knocking to see if you were feeling okay. so much for being your brothers and best friends.

so god forbid, you were late this morning. you managed to turn up at the company for your vocal lessons only ten minute late, but it felt awful as you’d never been late before. you were so incredibly lucky to get the opportunity to debut with skz, especially joining the group later in their career and being the only girl. you wanted to do everything perfectly to show that you deserved to be where you were, and with the way today was shaping out you were so disappointed with yourself.

but then - it got worse. you, in your rush to leave the dorms, had forgotten your sheet music, leaving your vocal teacher to be short and snappy with you. yeah, you brought it up on your phone instead, but she was strict, and a firm believer in “good old-fashioned pen and paper over your silly little radio devices nowadays”. her attitude towards you for the remainder of your lesson affected you more than you liked to admit - excusing yourself to the bathroom to have a little cry before you headed to the studio.

for some reason, none of your schedules were properly coordinated today, leaving jisung to be the one in the studio with you - rather than chan, like usual -  while you recorded your lines for the demos to be sent to the company later in the month, when you’d decide the songs for the new album you had upcoming later in the year.

jisung was always the nicest to you, especially when he could tell you were having a rough day - you were both very alike in that sense, very attentive towards each other as if you could tell what the other was feeling. 

however, it seemed today that something had crawled up his ass and died. he was almost as snappy as your vocal teacher, and you were quite frankly sick of it. you kept messing up your lines; whether from the stress or the ache building in your throat (god you hoped you weren’t getting sick), you weren’t sure. but clearly, jisung wouldn’t stand for it.

“honestly, (y/n), you might as well just call it a day and come back to this with chan-hyung another day. i need to get on with other stuff.” he sighed, dismissively, as you bit back the tears fighting to escape your eyes. he wouldn’t even look at you, and your stomach was doing somersaults. was he really that mad? surely he could see how hard you were trying.

but instead of confronting him, you just grabbed your belongings and left after silently agreeing. no one answered your message on the group chat when you asked if anyone was down to get lunch together, even though you could see basically everyone had read it, so you retreated to the canteen alone before you had to go to practice with the boys.

as the ache in your throat spread to your joints, fatigue plaguing you, you trudged up to the practice room for rehearsals with the boys. you were learning a new dance - in fact, the already chosen title track for the new album, and deep down you were dreading it. it was more difficult than you had imagined, and definitely aimed more towards moves the boys could do compared to you. you loved the boys, but sometimes you felt like they forgot that men and women’s bodies worked differently.

surprisingly, you weren’t the last to arrive, squashing your fear of another thing going wrong.

but just as soon as practice began, your fear was reawakened. the ache in your joints was making the dance more difficult for you to execute, and you could feel the annoyance radiating off of minho’s body even if he wouldn’t admit it. you stumbled a few times, almost knocking into felix, who looked at you more frustrated than concerned.

“seriously, (n/n), what’s going on? it’s really not that hard. get your head in the game.”

you huffed, shaking out your limbs and telling minho to start the track again. maybe if you ignored your surroundings, ignored how you were feeling, then things would be easier. you could block out minho’s harsh criticisms - he was probably just tired. you could block out everything, knowing the boys were suffering just as much as you lately. but when the music stopped again, and everyone was talking at you, voice after voice lapping over each other you just couldn’t take it anymore.

“shut the fuck up! shut up, shut up, shut up! give me a fucking break, i’m trying my hardest!”

you honestly didn’t mean to snap, you were just so overwhelmed and couldn’t take anymore. when chan tried to put a comforting hand on your shoulder, you flung it off, all your annoyance and stress from the day building up at once.

“don’t fucking touch me. i don’t need your pity, i don’t need you to tell me that i don’t know how to do my job well enough. this is the fucking worst day of my life and you all keep making it worse!”

every fiber of your being was telling you to stop, to be reasonable, but it was like your mouth was making its own decisions. you couldn’t tell which member it was, but you were interrupting the gentle call of your name before you could even control it.

“and no, before any of you try to be funny, i’m not on my period,” you sneered, anger bubbling under your skin as you saw jisung look away sheepishly. “i’m just sick of feeling like i have to fight to prove i’m good enough, like i’m not one of you guys yet. we’re supposed to be a team, but all day i’ve been pushed to the side and treated like i don’t matter. i’m sick of it!”

you breathed heavily, grabbing your duffle bag from the side of the room and storming towards the door.

“i’m staying with yeji tonight, leave me the fuck alone.”

was all you said before leaving the boys stood in shock, confused as to why you were acting like you hated them.

regrettably, the minute you found yourself in yeji’s dorm and explained your day to her, you knew you were in the wrong. how could you let yourself treat your best friends that way? they didn’t deserve that, and you would be most understanding if they never forgave you. it was only when the throb in your head and ache in your joints became too much that you finally allowed yourself to sleep.

chan’s apology

luckily, you and the boys were granted a week off a while ago, and today marked the first day of that week. however, knowing chris he was probably still hauled up in the studio from the night before. it was around 3am (yeji shouldn’t have let you crash so early, your sleep schedule was going to be manic), so you pulled yourself together before making the decision to go visit him.

he may not even want to see you after your little outburst, but you could still try.

you stopped by the convenience store on your way to the studio, grabbing some snacks and some drinks just to be on the safe side. carefully checking the group chat, you saw that changbin was still in the studio with chan and you hoped you could get there before he left - it might be easier to kill two birds with one stone. you were just glad you bought way too much food for just two people.

you smiled politely, bowing at the security guard as he let you into the building, heart thumping in your ears as you carefully traced the steps to chan’s studio.

when you finally approached the door, you had to take a minute to prepare yourself to knock. you heard chan’s voice mumbling behind the door once you did, nervously waiting until he came and opened it.

he looked surprised to see you, frozen for a moment before quickly ushering you in and sitting you on the couch next to changbin. almost in instinct, changbin’s arm was slung around your shoulder - something he always did when you were close by, relishing in the fact he wasn’t the shortest in the group anymore.

you sheepishly held out the bag containing all the goodies you got at the convenience store to chan, a small smile on your face when he took it.

“got you some snacks.. kind of guessed you might have forgotten to eat.” your voice was quiet, ashamed. you just hoped they wouldn’t hold your outburst against you.

but when chan grinned, you knew he could never be mad at you for long.

“we were worried about you, y’know? that’s why jisung let you go early today - something seemed off and we didn’t want you to get too overwhelmed.” changbin said from next to you, the hand on your shoulder rubbing it comfortingly. 

you couldn’t stop the tears from welling up behind your eyes again, but bit them back in fear they’d think you were looking for sympathy.

“i– i’m so sorry. i’ve just had an awful day, and i feel like shit, but that doesn’t excuse my actions, and i shouldn’t have snapped at you all - you couldn’t have known, and its not your fault.”

you explained why your day had been so bad to them (after some pushing from chan), and how you were feeling physically, causing changbin to look at you with great worry.

they indulged in a small cuddle session, feasting on the snacks you provided while they tried to help cheer you up. and honestly, it worked, just talking through how you were feeling, and gettin constructive feedback rather than just a shoulder to lean on was relieving.

you couldn’t apologize to them more, feeling so ashamed of your actions, but they were quick to reassure you it was okay - everyone had bad days, you were only human after all. you just needed to work on your communication a little bit.

when you finally got ready to head back to the dorm at 5am, you felt better than you had in a long time, actually.

apology numbers one and two: complete.

but when you arrived back at the dorm, head peacefully resting on changbin’s shoulder, what you weren’t expecting to walk into was what you all called a “cuddle pool” - the sofa bed pulled out, covered with pillows and blankets - and a spot waiting for you between felix and seungmin.

your eyes watered at the expectant faces of your soul-brothers, small sobs leaving your lips as your shoulders shook. god, the day had taken a toll on you - you couldn’t remember the last time you cried in front of the boys.

it was only then that minho - who you hadn’t seen standing by the door - scooped you into a hug.

“oh, angel,” he frowned, a hand pressed to your forehead. “you’re burning up. is that why you felt so bad earlier?”

words seemed to fail you, and all you could do was nod as your grip on his sweater tightened. it certainly wouldn’t be the first time you got sick from stress, but you hated being sick. you hated feeling out of control in your own body, and despised being doted on like you were unable. however, this time… you think you could let it slide. you just needed your boys close by right now.

they seemed to enjoy looking after you, and you felt you owed them that after the situation in the practice room.

minho was quick to place on you on the couch, felix and seungmin suffocating you in a bone-crushing hug. jisung handed you the tv remote, saying you could choose to watch whatever you wanted, and that everyone would be having a slumber party in the living room until you felt better.

minho and chan had gone to make you some chicken noodle soup - using felix’s mom’s recipe, which was known for being a lifesaver in your dorm. jeongin was quick to grab you your comfort plushie, taking his place on the floor by your feet - the two of you were 100% keen on physical affection, but having him close by helped.

within merely an hour, all nine of you were curled up, an animated disney movie playing, with soup and mugs of tea being passed around the room. it was nice, and it felt so good to have your boys so close and willing to help you.

you definitely took on changbin’s mention of needing to improve on communication, wanting nothing more than to improve yourself for the little family you had build around you. and yeah you were sick, and they would probably get sick too by being in such close proximity to you, but that was a problem for another day. you’d just return the favor of looking after them.

you just knew you were lucky to have them.

You think you’re being as subtle as you can by hiding your emotions, but Dante knows when you’re not feeling well. He can tell when you’re trying to hide your emotions. Despite you having a decent poker face about it right now, Dante has become quite the pro at telling whenever you’re not feeling quite yourself. Your shoulders are a bit more slumped, your smile isn’t nearly as bright as he’s seen it before, and you answer questions with fewer words than usual. He’s not exactly sure how to approach this situation every time, but he knows he wants to comfort you.

You sit on his desk, chin resting on your hands as you watch Dante do some paperwork. It’s a quiet afternoon, but something has been troubling you. Dante tries his best to focus on his work, but his heart clenches anytime you frown or you sigh softly. He’s doing all he can to think of the right words to say to you. He finishes up the final piece of paperwork and then he looks up at you.

“Piece of pizza for your thoughts,” he says, a grin on his face.

You shrug, “I’m okay.”

It’s a lie and he knows it. You’re not okay. It hurts Dante to see you like this. He wants to see you smiling and hear your beautiful laughter more than anything else right now. He knows it’s not always possible for you to be happy every second of every day, but he’d take all your sadness away if he could. He prides himself in being a good boyfriend who can always offer a shoulder to cry on.

Dante reaches up to cup your chin, and his soft touches make you shudder. You’re more close to tears than you’d like to admit, and Dante can sense it. He gets up from his seat and he instantly wraps his arms around you. You are trembling in his arms and the tears begin flowing down your cheeks.

“Shhh…it’s okay, baby.” He kisses the top of your head.

For a few moments, Dante holds you in his arms and rubs your back soothingly. He hums a lullaby that Eva used to sing to him as a child. Everything about this moment is slowly calming you, making you be able to come to terms with what was ailing you in the first place. For a goofy guy who usually tries not to take too many things seriously, Dante is very good at navigating moments like these with you.

You sniffle as the tears stop, and Dante cups your chin once more so he can plant a kiss to your lips. Then gently he wipes away your tears and he hugs you so close to his chest. You can hear his heartbeat, which always comforts you. 

“You know I’m always here for you, right?” Dante asks.

You nod your head, “I know I just—”

Dante interrupts, “Just nothing. I don’t care what time of day it is or what else is going on. I’m always here for you.”

Your heart skips a beat. He’s being so serious right now. He holds you close for a few more moments, then he begins to run his fingers through your hair. It takes a few more minutes before you begin talking to Dante about what was making you sad. He listens attentively, not passing any judgment. He keeps his attention on you until you start feeling better from talking about what has been on your mind for days.

“No matter what happens,” Dante says with a little smirk. “You’ll always be my baby.”

Dante scoops you up in his arms, and you rest your head on his chest as he brings you upstairs to the bathroom. He sets you on the counter as he begins running the hot water for the bath. He even pulls out the special bath salts he bought specifically for you. You watch in awe as this sweet man does all he can to make sure you’re feeling even just the slightest bit better. Once the bath is done, he comes over to you. His large hands are so gentle as he undresses you. With every new bit of skin exposed to him, Dante presses soft featherlight kisses to those sensitive areas.

You feel worn down, but you know you’re in good hands. He helps you into the tub once you’re undressed and he begins washing you. He takes extra time with you, massaging your sore muscles whenever he can take the time to soothe you. He kisses you as many times as you need him to. And when you’re all clean, he pulls you out and begins the task of drying you off. His calloused hands feel good as they rub lotion into your soft skin.

Then you’re whisked into the bedroom where Dante cocoons you in his arms under the covers. The room is dark and cool, the perfect setting for a nap. He kisses the top of your head as you rest against him.

“I love you so much, and I’ll never stop loving you.”

gave himself the name “echo” when he realized he was a slugcat, and also an echo. also it was the only name that made sense that he was able to say in slugsign

yes, the pearl on his chest is the music pearl

how he met fisher was he got attacked by a red lizard, but the electrical shock killed it before it could bring him to its den. fisher found him and patched up his wounds, and in return he let her stay with him and help him

he grew kind of fond of fisher even before he knew that she was moon

he cant eat more than the bare minimum (a couple bluefruits or batflies) because if he eats too much it will give energy to the rot, leading to it taking over his body

he is constantly starving because of my previous point. for reference, if he didnt have the rot, his kind of slugcat (similar to the kind arti is) would be carnivorous, and eat about two small lizards per cycle.

he can let out electric shocks with his tail while jumping, letting him propel himself in the air. the shock itself doesnt propel him though, he has to do that.

he can let out electric shocks strong enough to kill a small lizard if his tail is touching it. he can also create electric spears, though his are a bit stronger than the scavengers

he is constantly in pain because of his right bottom leg, and kind of feels hes a burden on fisher (and, eventually, the rest of the group) because he always has to stop and take a break.

he experiences frequent panic attacks and hallucinations, especially in the small cramped shelters. he usually cuddles close to fisher during these (even if he’s embarrassed to), and she helps him realize that what he thinks is there really isnt there

he is pretty sure the reason he got echo’d and reincarnated as a slugcat was because of the first karmic urge, violence. no one will ever know, though.

Fisher/Looks to the Moon

when she first saw echo on her way to the other iterators superstructures, she immediately knew he was pebbles, for multiple reasons. she decided not to tell him just yet, because she figured all of this was already a lot for him and he didnt need more.

she is bigger and fluffier than pebbles, but thats just because she is just a big and fluffy slugcat. pebbles is just average

she usually had to convince pebbles to eat something, because he hated the sensory of it and was absolutely terrified of the rot, but she figured that eating something, even if its uncomfortable, was better than dying of starvation

she generally saw herself as a bit of a caretaker for pebbles, even if he would hate being seen as “needed to be cared for”

she actually kind of enjoys killing creatures, of course she doesnt do it for funsies, but when she has to, she loves showing off her strength and skills.

her absolute favorite food is blue fruits, she thinks the texture and the lil pupa in the middle is DELICOUS.

she is absolutely terrified of spiders, especially mother spiders and spitter spiders, and creatures that look like spiders, like dropwigs. when she sees one, she will go screaming and crying and bolting away

she likes holding pebbles whenever she can tell his leg hurts, even if he goes off kicking and hissing. she can tell its a relief for his overworked body

she was able to tell pebbles who she was and that she knew who he was in pebbles chamber, where all there was left was pearls. (she basically pointed to pearls abt her and back at herself, and pearls abt him she pointed at him)

she is sosososo happy that she gets to physicslly hang out with pebbles (and the other two later on :3)

the red on her body is bioluminescent and glows in the dark and water

she is a fantastic swimmer, despite not having any fins or anything. she can literally hold her breath for almost an entire cycle

A story about a girl who gets saved by her prince, not in an ideal way like she wanted it to be, but nonetheless, still fell for them anyways. ⎯ Once upon a time I had my eyes set out for a fairytale of my own, wanting to feel like a hopeless romantic with the person of my dreams. But to think that the person I've been dreaming of was actually beside me this whole time... Perhaps instead of me, it was them that was hopeless in the end.

It was during when you stayed over at her house and weren't able to sleep, that she suggested she'd tell you some of the latest stories she's been reading about. Some that you've already heard of (either from her already mentioning it before or seeing it in the media) while others not so much.

When NENE talks about her stories she's very enthusiastic about it. Happy to even have someone listening to her rant on and on about something she's been dying to talk about for awhile, but it's even more special when it's her S/O ⎯ especially if they were the ones to ask her first before she even got the chance to herself.

Her stories lean more towards romance for obvious reasons. Loving the tropes to the story is one thing, but another would be because of how she likes to imagine herself in those sort of scenarios. Embarrassed to even admit it out loud, though it's already clear why she likes them so much.

And although at first she was telling the stories to you to get you to fall asleep, it sometimes ends with you staying up a little later due to her getting a tad bit carried away.

Oh but if you do end up falling asleep right before her? You won't ever see or hear about it, unless you were pretending to be asleep, but Nene is definitely the type to give you a shy goodnights kiss. Feeling brave only because you were asleep, but if not, she'd totally cover her face as she fumes at how embarrassing it is to get caught in her sly act.

A story about a commoner boy who had a princess that loved him dearly, despite his backstory and everything he deemed as 'unworthy' of their love, nothing ⎯ not even his words, could sway their view of him. ⎯ Time and time again you run and hide from me. Behind that wall of doubt and insecurities there's something that you clearly don't see in yourself that I adore so much. When will you finally come to terms and see things my way? Love yourself as much as I love you.

It's weird how you decided to nap in the bathroom. Especially his bathroom where he's poking you constantly until you tell him off.

When HANAKO is reading you a story, he has you sleeping and leaning against his shoulder. His hand occasionally shifting your head back in place when he notices you nodding off or about to fall, or maybe even just doing it to use it as an excuse to pat your head ⎯ who knows? Clearly not you.

But the types of stories Hanako tends to read to you depends entirely on his mood. Whenever he's feeling like a jokester, he'd tell you horror stories just to see your scared reaction as you cling onto him ⎯ or when he's feeling a little solemn, he'd tell the sort of fairytale that ends with bad endings to them.

Differing between those two genres the most. But on the more rarer occasions, does he switch it up to something else.

Something odd, something you wouldn't even expect from him. Something ... that perhaps convey how he really feels but is too afraid to admit it out loud? It honestly depends up to you to actually catch onto it. If not? Then you probably won't ever hear that story again from him.

A story where a ghost finds a human and wishes to stand by their side ⎯ A story where death will not part them, for they belong together. ⎯ I keep thinking that I could be good enough for you - that you could love me as more than 'friends', maybe I am a bit selfish for thinking this. Not that I could ever say it to your face.

MITSUBA didn't plan on reading to you but you told him a few stories of your own. He wasn't sure why he did it. Perhaps it was the smile on your face every time you started reading to him, so he returned the favor.

He wasn't sure what to read until he came up with his own idea. A short story about a ghost, since he knew that firsthand. A story with a ghost about falling in love with a human, a story he...

As he told the story, he could see your smile slowly disappear, almost as if you realized he was the ghost in the story.

"The ghost never told them how he felt."

And that was the last thing he said before being engulfed in your arms. He knew this feeling - he's felt it before. That warm feeling.

The feeling of love.

The feeling of an old memory.

A story where the knight doesn't get the girl ⎯ oh...I guess this is a different ending. A story where the knight gets the prince, and they live a happy life. ⎯ I didn't change the ending! This is how it was meant to be! I...I suppose if you prefer for the knight to not fall for the prince then...Huh? You liked it?!

KOU brought a book of short stories over to your house. He was super excited to be able to stay the night.

Unfortunately for him, you had the same book and it just so happened to be your favorite!

Kou told the story as it was written for a bit.

Until he got to the end.

The story was meant to end with the prince marrying a princess but Kou couldn't bring himself to say it. Perhaps it was because he was never the prince. He was always second.

But it seemed that you didn't mind. It does get a bit boring reading the same story over and over again, and you did like listening to Kou talk.

"I'm...really happy you liked it." He says, almost struggling to get the words out as you blush and smile.

Maybe this really was his story, and that's why he rewrote the ending. Well, you can't say it's impossible for that ending to happen.

Just got the chance to finish chapter 9 and i will cryyyyyy. Impulse :( Skizz caring about Impulse :( they're all so stupid :( I can't wait till I have time to draw RAHHH

I have a feeling this is going to be one of the chapters that really stick with me. Aside from the WONDERFUL writing, and the AMAZING portrayal of emotions, I can, unfortunately, really connect and sympathize with Impulse this chapter lol

Obviously not to go too into detail or start venting or anything, today has been A LOT. had to get up earlier than i can properly function, go to physical therapy, just got back from a saline infusion,

(Trigger warning: needles, and slight medical errors. feel free to skip lol Tylically the place i go to for infusions are quick and easy, but today they didnt fail once, but TWICE. blew two veins, and when they finally got everything said and done, the needle hurt like HELL going in, when usually i can't feel it)

and I STILL have another appointment I need to go to later today. On top of all that I also have to fit in schoolwork. Definitely feels like stuff that doesn't normally bother me is building up, and FAST, I can only imagine what Impulse is feeling. Actually, not true, I can READ it lol. (And it will never fail to make me Feel™ what they are Feeling™)

Once again, everything is so very wonderfully written it's insane. Despite being similar to what I'm currently feeling, it still felt like an escape rather than adding to the stress, yknow? Which, personally, as someone who struggles with writing in general. Is just plain insane to me.

Also the shower scene. Beautifully written. You can practically feel the tension melting off of Impulse before his thoughts start getting a bit too much. Very relatable. Very cozy with the perfect amount of oomph. I want Skizz to hug him and tell him it's going to be okay so bad I could rival the sun in intensity. Like. Cannibal. Cannibal please. Let them be happy. (Make it last. I want to see them suffer.) I want to draw them being happy together (i want to draw them being sad together. They should be miserable a bit longer. As a treat.)

Don't want this to go on for too long, because I feel like it's already longer than it probably should be, even if I could ramble for hours. But I just wanted to say that this chapter made me especially happy :] (also im surprised Skizz didn't know he was a demon. Hmm. The thoughts are brewing lol.)

Last but not least, do you mind being called just "cannibal?" Because personally, I find it very silly, but if it bothers you at all I can just. Y/n really went all out getting his HORSE shipped here. And jimin saying happy b day to join was so sweet cause every one’s warming up to joon after the fight a bit and I think everyone is warming up in general. Anyways y/nie goes above and beyond for her boys and ahhhh so sweet. He was so happy too you could tell he wanted to cry gosh. I love when jimin can’t handle his alcohol well I can just imagine his red cheeks eeek I hope we get to travel and see his family too. He’s defiantly been working hard on the barn, and when she mention he was shirtless at some point 🥵 I cant- im sorry I’m on my period that my horrible excuse anyways -

Tae - UGH Another one that is totally whipped for Y/N, taking pictures of her, including a couple at his first expo... even though only four were displayed at that expo, you can imagine he's probably taken dozens more of her, which makes me blush and kick my feet. He's definitely one of the more cuddly ones, too, so when he hugged her at the expo that moment was so sweet and intimate... physical touch must be one of his love languages. I love my men a little possessive, and I DO remember the whole perilla leaf debate (wild) and Tae being like that both irl AND in Trouvaille is just so... you know? He was definitely staking claim over Y/N in that brewery, he did not like that random man staring at his girl like that. OOF! 🥵 I'm glad you brought up Tae and Yoongi beginning to come around to one another. They have that connection of both being into music, and I think they have similar possessive feelings over Y/N. I think the longer time wears on, he'll let go of more of that frostiness and become more comfortable showing Y/N his tender side. fjdksa I forgot about the scene where he offered her a cigarette at Hoseok's meet-- such a twerp!! I love love love scary movies, and I feel like him maybe Yoongi are the only two that would actually wanna watch a horror film with me IRL, or Y/N in Trouvaille. Hoseok is a bit of a scaredy cat, and the rest of them put that off a little bit as well LOL. And for sure, there really isn't anything that can be hidden in that house anymore, there are ears literally everywhere.... bad news for someone who likes to talk shit, like me. But that's an example of Jeongguk being uncharacteristically sweet, agreeing to help Y/N even if he doesn't have to. Joon was so pissed when she didn't call out for him when she was threatened, but Y/N handled everything just fine, IMO, he was being a dramatic wolf.

hie I've just been sitting here thinking about harutaka fighting I know the whole "I knew i was gonna die and didn't tell you" is prime material for them to fight But I like to think about like Long term how they deal with little inevitable conflicts Bc those are gonna happen when you wanna spend your life by someone's side I feel like Haruka's reaction is most often just To immediately apologize He wants to fix things He doesn't want anyone to be upset So he slaps a bandaid over it! Takane however Needs to experience her feelings even if they suck She needs to get mad She needs to get sad (and try to cover up that sadness with angry outburts) I think there's times Haruka apologizes to try and soothe a conflict and she gets upset because it's really not his fault and she wishes he'd get mad instead! I think eventually they kinda learn Takane needs her moment to run through her feelings and just because she's crying screaming punching a pillow doesn't mean it's personal And Haruka needs to learn that sometimes it's okay if things feel bad for a bit, it's better to talk things through than to bury them under panicked pacification. A tense afternoon isn't going to undo their pile of happy memories. Honestly I wanna see Haruka try to get mad about something. Restaurant got his order wrong or something. And Takane's just there like yeah!! Tell them!!! And he immediately deflates when he has their attention (also if this characterization is a little off I apologize!! i think he could ask her to stop being such a tease??? haruka's too spineless to ask her to stop teasing him (over the dimension lost days I moment) but by post str i dont think this would be a problem. maybe he could manage to ask and takane would be like AWWWW IM JUST GOOFING cuz from his pov in lost days it REALLY seemed like haruka didnt realise takane was fucking with him. personally i didnt notice in my first read. once i read it again i noticed takane is described to have a mischievous smile and stuff and that just changed the whole context. it was haruka moaning and crying abt having an art block and takane being like girl ur being pathetic and she was right🙏

i mostly have a hard time imagining What theyd fight about. i think they could have arguments but it'd have to be something punctual for that to take place. i dont think couples just Have to argue to work out at all. that bit u said abt "thats gonna happen when u wanna spend ur life with someone" LIKE yeah there are disagreements and all but nothing that could cause An Argument of that nature yknow.

Genuinely all of the main cast are my favorite characters. Though I do have to admit that I've also grown quite fond of the dummies and the floor masters over time.

...I imagine this answer isn't very satisfying so I'll tell you why I like each character but it's also 2:30 am for me and I'm very sleepy so this isn't a serious analysis or anything just pure feelings.

Warning incoherent ramblings and bad English

Sara: imagine being the strongest person in a death game and a group of people unanimously decide that you're their leader that will lead them to survival and there's also that one guy who hates you and wants you dead and also you're 17. I could never. I think Sara is a really cool protagonist honestly amd I also have a soft spot for caharcerts who are so very serious and powerful but also so silly..... I love Sara she's such a good character..... I love Sara..

Joe: ngl it was love from first sight. I love the 'happy go lucky best friend' archetype and he's so deeply caring and kind (and he can be pretty smart and a quick thinker too when the situation calls for it) and just.... ooghh im gonna cry

Keiji: weird guy relatable in the way he hates himself so much and is so convinced of being a bad person that he acts like one.

Kanna: Kanna!! Hi Kanna!! Haaaiii Kanna :333 she wears a bucket and acts like any 14 year old dragged in a death game would. She's very deeply trusting in contrast to Shin and it's sort of one of the biggest things about her character and I'm just :((( Kanna my dear precious baby girl.... Also do u ever think about how Kannas first trial was evaluating trust and Kugie trusted Kanna enough to let her use the key but Kanna couldn't save her and then she tells Sara to kill her and trust in Shin. Do u ever think about that. I just made that up its 3 am idk if this makes sense.

Q-taro: great character AND the fattest ass in the death game.

Shin: one of the best antagonists I've ever seen. Nankidai literally went 'what if the most reoccurring antagonist is Just Some Guy who is weak and kind and timid and is only an antagonist because he was told that he's doomed by the narrative' and it's AWSOME.

Reko: she's the normal one of the group if I'm being completely honest. I love her. I really enjoy that we see her in several different lights: the Reko who is kind to the weak (Sara's POV), the Reko who is harsh to the strong (Mishima's POV in YTTS), and the Reko before Alice's case, who is more abrasive and cold to everyone.

Nao: what can I say, I love my wife. She's grown A LOT during the events of the game and then DIED in a very sad way... Very tragic. Also I love that when bad stuff happens to her she thinks 'ok how can I incorporate this in my art' (how she wants to sketch the insects from the 'fly swatter' attraction and her fondness events in YTTS) very relatable tbh.

Kai: he has done nothing wrong ever and he's also very relatable.

Gin: WHO put him in a death game. He should be playing roblox not witnessing the horrors. He would call me a homophobic slur and I would forgive him.

Mishima: I genuinely believe he's actually the most powerful character in the game. Have you SEEN how easily he figured out that Shin was lying to him in YTTS and made him actually open up and befriend him instead. The only reason that his survival percentage isn't very high is because he puts others before himself and maybe in some simulations he died because of a trap involving trying not to smoke idk. I also LOVE his cartoonish mannerisms. I like to imagine he's very animated.

Alice: I would hate this guy irl and that's why I like him. He's so intense in everything it's hard to not find it enjoyable or at least entertaining. And then you find out that he's also actually pretty kind and protective of his loved ones and deeply sad and has a very tragic and complex backstory and it's the guy who says 'yikes!'.

...ok I won't write about the dummies and floor masters but I hope you were at least mildly entertained reading this. I have a lot more to say about every character and why I think they're all great but I'll need more time and energy for that

about my album "my baby loves me"

- an album started during my first relationship and contnued being worked on during my second relationship. now sharing to the world single.

this album was started after I created the original version of "my baby loves me" on new years eve and then made "christmas lights" that same night There's many tracks that were made for the album that didn't make it in.

this final version of the album was crafted after I resung 2 old songs of mine from 2020 n' 2021 "who made you feel like that?" a song for my old friend stephaine and "kissed me in the bathroom" a sad gay song haha 'bout a boy who i've been singing about for years a song reworked as "seashell necklace 2002" from my 2021 project "whitenoise1" which is now "marry you"

my baby loves me - it originally had an instrumental that was cute and rock, I took it off the track-list after I finished "teenage love" since I felt it shared the same message. After a dramatic night with an anxiety attack going on, I sung this song in the bathroom, hyperventilating, trying to calm myself down (dont u just love romance and anxiety) I decided this song would be perfect without an insturmental to recreate that AMAZINGGGGGG moment.

teenage love - a satirical song I made during my 2nd relationship. I was happy during the start of that love and so I made this. I'm not sure what else to say about this song... it's not really personal. It's just a poppier version of title track. Me mentioning chasing cars is an ode to my song "chasing cars" from my ugly ass album "Blackcat"

christmas lights - I made this song on new years eve and was supposed to give offf like TEENAGE GIRLLLL vibes! I hate talking to stoners btw. I feel like im not emotionally connected to the more FUN BRIGHT songs on here but I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

crying to you... (after touching you) - well, um, so... kinda personal shit but like I felt like I wasn't seen for who I was and that my past two loves didn't really know me or care too or even care for what I had to say (could just be projection but also im not sure). I cried to my ex after touching him and it was about him but I didn't tell him that... I just didn't feel seen. whenever I talked I always felt boring and stuff. maybe I'm just annoying I just so badly wanted a real conversation

my boy - partially auto-biographical, I also just wanted some lana vibes in that song THINK ULTRAVIOLENCE. this song was about my first love who went hours of not talking to me and not even acknowledging it or being hella dry after HOURS and then DRY AGAIN. I felt so boring and not good enough. almost everything I said was ignored and I BARELY talked about myself. I dont miss him, that part was supposed to be silly. the "touch" and "fucks" aren't genuine since he was like in LA lol. this guy would genuinely tell me that others would confess his love to him and would DROP POUNDS of his EX lore and I comforted him about his exes. i felt so boring and empty. I left him on January 11th

I made it in like 8th grade after she was sad over something. the world wasn't easy to her and I love her so much. the demo version is so scary and I'm so happy I finally got to give it justice and I hope she likes it. but it's not just for her, it's for anyone who listens. you're all special and beautiful and the world is beautiful cause of you. don't listen to what others say cause you're a star.

marry you - instrumental is from my 2021 ep "whitenoise1" the demo is also scary... (bandlab what a time). I played the uke on this song and the lyrics are supposed to give off like ladybird vibes. I was truly in love at like 11 but I believed he was the one. he ignored me the next day after "getting together" and then tried coming back multiple times. I still see him around and I wonder if he remembers what we had (in 5th grade haha)

neck - this song gets me. it's the "who made you feel like that?" instrumental reversed. this song was for my 2nd love and I was genuinely in love even after the fights and hard times. I felt young and in love. I loved him

chased cars - a little instrumental track, it's a continuation of my song "chasing cars" from my "Blackcat" album (EW). it's supposed to symbolize how I got the love I wanted since "BC" was just about a crush. the cars have been chased
