the megumi sex pollen fic was so perfect. i love the way you characterize him!! he was so sweet, funny, frustrating, and interesting as a character and the way he thought through his feelings was written really well. i also love how you characterized the reader as being kinda an oddball but also a good friend to megs who clearly cared about him. despite the fact that the sex pollen fic technically made it dubcon i really enjoyed that you made it effect them both and that they were still talking even under its effects. the romance of it all genuinely had me punching my pillow bc oh my god megumi is so in love with angst when reader is right in front of him petting his dogs and caring about him so well while he’s brooding. he’s hilarious i love him and i love how u spotlighted gojo in the fic as a funny parental figure who clearly is trying his best and who cares for megumi. overall the fic really made me feel warm and fuzzy and i love how confident your writing is. you had so many good lines and yet the entire fic felt really tightly composed with a clear direction. i love that about your writing and i can’t wait for the other fics you’re writing to be posted :))

Adding to my post before, i think its also interesting how rika's response to willalex was THAT, because its true, no one really knows will bcs 1. Will himself never really opened up to anyone everything about himself except for emmy, 2. They just never cared enough to get to know him above whatever shallow perception of him that he put in front of them. I still cant stand the fact that they didnt expect will to pull that blackchurch move bcs huhhh?? Why couldnt he? Was i shocked when i read that scene? Sure, but not bcs i thought he was incompetent like how his friends thought him yk. So i dont think its really fair to blame rika or any of his friends either for the way they saw him, bcs will was also an active willing participant in these scenarios and his personality in front of them. bertholdt hoover was quiet at the best of times, he was quiet in a way that if you didn't know him, you would get the impression that he wasn't enjoying your company when in fact this wasn't the case at all, y/n knew this, and didn't mind taking the lead in conversations, they knew he preferred to listen.

the two grew up together and formed a comfortable companionship, outsiders saw them as inseparable, a pair, where y/n went bertholdt followed.

such was the case on a boring dreary day after school, the two often studied together, this particular day bertholdt found himself rather distracted from his piling homework. y/n was very obviously struggling with sone trivial question but bertholdt couldn't help but focus on the arch of their brow as they were focusing intently on their work, the way they unconsciously chewed the end of their pen in concentration, the way their eyes, although tired, shine as they jot down their answers. even in these mundane moments he couldn't help but think about how fond he was of them. he wished he could find the words to tell them how he felt, but everytime he tried to put his feelings into words he backed out feeling like a coward.

he wished you knew how much he loved them, everyone else could see it and constantly teased the two about it, he wished they didn't deny their feelings, he wished y/n felt the same way.

y/n felt bertholdt's stare burning into them and gave him a small, gentle smile. "you almost finished bert?" he felt his cheeks heat up as he was caught in the act. bertholdt simply nodded and pretended to read his textbook.

little did bertholdt know that y/n felt exactly the same way. y/n loved bertholdt for as long as they could remember, they wished they could gather up the courage to just ask him out, they had an inkling that he felt the same way, but the embarrassment and humiliation that comes with rejection proved too daunting. they didnt want to ruin the friendship they had if anything happened between them.

"fuck it" y/n thought to themself, and they looked up into bert's deep green eyes, "bertholdt, i really like you, and not just in a friends kind of way" bertholdt's eyes widened in surprise, if he was red in the face before, he thought he must look like a tomato now, he was stunned into silence. "its okay if you don't like me back, in fact its probably better that way, let's just forget i even said anything" y/n nervously blurted.

bertholdt felt himself begin to panic internally, he was shocked, "y/n actually likes me back" he thought. in the backround he could still hear y/n ranting on. bertholdt gathered up all his courage, remembering the advice his 'wingman' reiner had given him previously and shut y/n up with a timid peck on the lips.

y/n immediately stopped talking and returned the kiss, in complete disbelief that this was actually happening.

bertholdt nervously cleared his throat and said "i like you too y/n... im sorry i couldn't tell you earlier, but i do, and i have for a long time now" taking y/n's hand in his larger one and looking into their eyes. y/n just widely smiled and kissed his cheek glad they finally came clean about their feelings for each other.
