okay no fancy formatting here because i’m mobile and too impatient to wait till i’m not to post this sorry folks but it’s time——

the camp camp verse

mabel and dipper obviously both end up with trauma as a result of weirdmageddon ( and other bits of the summer too probably but thats the big one ooo wee ) and because of the change in their mental health, their parents decide the can not go back to gravity falls ever again, or keep in touch with their grunkles. so instead, they send them to camp campbell.

mabel tries her hardest to make the best of things, she does a pretty great job too! she’s signed up for art camp, but her interests go all over the place and she doesn’t mind at all that it’s turned out to be a mess of different camps. she warms up to her surroundings really quickly no matter where she is, and it helps that she really likes david a whole lot. when she makes both him and gwen matching sweaters with “#1 counselor” stitched on the front, his is delivered with a whisper that he’s a liiiittle more number one.

at some point, though, she finds the crushing weight of realizing she’ll never get to go back to gravity falls or see all the friend and family who mean so so much to her again hits her full force. i haven’t decided how or when this happens yet ( i’d love to do a thread for it eventually to flesh all this out more!! especially because i have no set plans for her recovering from it+moving forward ) but she definitely ends up having a big breakdown when it does.

also she still knits herself a new sweater daily, she exclusively wears her yellow ones here to coordinate with the camp colors.
