I LOVE THIS POST SO MUCH FOR EXPLAINING THIS its so interesting Prototype Deku's name is Akatani Mikumo and the prototype Bakugo nicknamed him based on recklessness Yamikumo -> dark cloud HBHJ BHJ GHHGG im in love with this

But lets take it from the top of what im thinking sort of AU sort of two parted thing. Also this twitter thread is sooooo good too just explaining the one shots Hori did before MHA but it's mostly just feels like Shigarki and Deku in other lives

Lets just get into the prototypes im sorry im just gonna talk jvktngjk im crazy right now in this sort of AU world?

SO Yamikumo (Deku)

He's like everything Deku is not, i see him as a coward because in the oneshot "Black Milk" one of Hori's friends did where they used this design to make a bad guy once he saw that he was losing after he threw a car off a highway he tried to run and became afraid

I think despite being a coward is personality is that of - if he's helping so one he's also ridiculing them for being too weak to do it themself yet he's here! standing up and helping them, that kind of personality cause in that post it explains that Bakugo nicknames him Yamikumo for being reckless, i like to imagine he says he doesn't want to help but he does it anyway/ends up helping people cause he can't stand the sight of someone in danger so Bakugo calls him reckless cause he always jumps in without a plan a opposite to Deku almost cause Deku does think things through sometimes but Deku is reckless Yamikumo is reckless in almost the same way.

LETS talk about Bakugo now,

So his name is Gougou in the prototype, Bakugo Gougou, the way it explains his personality sounds to me almost like Senku and that's insane to me, the dynamic between Bakugo and Deku is so different like "natural born genius who inadvertently insults people" he's proud about his intelligence and he can back it up he isn't being rude from his perspective

Which brings me to Kirishima before i talk about Uraraka

He was supposed to be a delinquent, AGAIN can you imagine the dynamic between Bakugo and Kirishima?? this fanart i enjoy this interaction, Kirishima thinking Bakugo's ego is bold but also i think they would have some semblance of a bully situationship going on, Bakugo isn't scared of him at all the way Kirishima isn't scared of regular Bakugo but i still think scenes of Kirishima Gougou exist like "WHOA HEY DONT DO THAT!" frighteningly

Delinquent Kirishima he was tired of being of no use and instead of putting on a "manly" persona he became a jerk, he doesn't want to let anything bother him and feel weak he acts like a jerk, his character arc would be him calming down like original Bakugo

Her name was going to be "Yu Takeyama" she was going to have Mt. Lady's identity and Gigantification Quirk i call her Yuraraka

by looks alone she looks like she might be involved, like she doesn't wanna associate with anyone however shes supposed to be like Mt Lady so she probably is shy and quiet but puts on a mean persona and likes to get paid the way Mt Lady originally did idk i have thoughts but they aren't all together yet.

Shes somehow YamiKumo and Gougou's friend i feel like she's moreso Gougou's friend and thinks Yamikumo is a weirdo and always says how she can agree with what Gougou is saying always putting Yamikumo down but it doesn't bother him.

Iida i think from these sketches he looks like flaunts how rich he is with the expensive looking watch on his arm but he's a bad boy? look at that wild hair and that hair growing on his chin, he's an upstart, he's arrogant he and Kirishima might clash alot be those two boys who're always fighting in class he's Kirishima's rival sort of? or maybe just a guy he doesn't like. I don't know how he feels about Yamikumo i haven't thought that far or how he would feel about Uraraka

Midnight was gonna be their homeroom teacher, she looks to me like she would let a lot of things slide in the classroom since UA's like they let the teachers teach however they want, i feel like if Iida and Kirishima would start fighting she'd let them take it outside have the whole class watch and gather what they learn from this as a learning experience "NOW CLASS why did Kirishima or Iida win/lose?" and have everyone explain in front of them why they thought they won or not then have her explain what it was or agree with a classmate who got it right. she would be putting Kirishima and Iida to sleep alot cause they are rowdy

Prototype Tsu and Toru were originally dudes

I think Tsu might stay the same i can't imgine Tsu other way but somebody once said they think if Tsu was a man Tsu would hold a larger role in my hero and it's sad but i agree i sadly think Tsu would have more screentime if she was a dude :/ that being said i don't enjoy male Tsu for that reason i just enjoy male Tsu cause he's cute

Toru wouldn't change very much but i very high key enjoy her a girl cause i like women

Kaminari looks way too much like Mic, he pegs me as trying to hang out with Kirishima or Iida which ever one won the fight or is shown to be stronger (surround yourself with strong people and you'll never be hurt kinda of guy) and trying to be a delinquent but hes just not cut out for it not because he's too nice but he's too much of a coward with a bad attitude but the moment somebody kicks his butt he tries to be on their good side so he doesn't get hurt anymore, he underestimates himself and he's a sort of a bully that pretends to overestimate himself in front of others, i hope you get what im saying

I think Momo, her normal weight is bigger but she wants to look “beautiful” so she’s always seen as skinny using her quirk to burn all fat, i did speak to you about me and my friend's AU based off this prototype AU where i gave designs i think?? i'll talk about that another time im just spilling my mind about the design and personalities rn

Mina looks insane, i think she would be ditzy, not dumb shes really silly and she knew Kirishima in middle school they either didn't interact like canon or they used to be friends? i don't know maybe she thought they were friends but Kirishima was always jealous of her

omg I don't even know what to say this is so incredible ?!?! I didn't even know about all of these, just vaguely remember seeing the prototypes to deku and kirishima some time ago, but I love your analysis and input on it!!!

I gotta say I really like the prototype for Mt lady, she looked so cute!! and tsu as well, she always gave off lesbian vibes but the male prototype really looks like a butch tsu and i love it ?!?!? and form mina i love that he changed herkfkfkfkfkf this original one looks like it would be a completely different character, and i really love our cool mina
