I downloaded the sims 2 ultimate edition from that google docs tutorial and everything went great!! And then I downloaded a bunch of mods and fucking. Broke everything. And even after deleting them I couldn't get the mods that came with it to work? So I uninstalled and am reinstalling to see if that fixes it :(
