i beat a gym leader's level 22 pokemon with my level 17 bug-type pokemon (who was paralyzed the entire battle) so i feel like i can do anything now
#to be fair. this was gardenia and her pokemon was a roserade and mine was a beautifly. so my one flying type move was pretty effective#i wanted to level Stringbean up so i switched her in for it and was planning on switching her out immediately just so she would get some XP#but then i was seized by a sudden need to complete that battle just using her FDSJFJKL#and my god i did it#no it wasn't particularly difficult but it also wasn't Easy Peasy so idk i feel accomplished fdjskl#bug type pokemon my beloved!!!!!!!!#i would love to do a bug-type run once i finish the game normally first fdjskl#im playing platinum btw fdsjkl its the only pokemon game i own#pippen needs 2nd breakfast
