#im obessed with glenn but jodie's story makes me so sad

I'm copy pasting some tags I just left on someone else's post cos I don't want them lost to the void cos I've been thinking about this forever without making a post.

Jodie is such a tragic character & I have SO many feelings about him. Don't get me wrong I love Glenn so much, but his story tends to over shadow what happened to Jodie, and what happened to Jodie is so sad and such a great foil¹ to Glenn.

Picture this: you are a demon. You have a mother you love. You're doing your thing, when someone traps you in a guitar strips you of your home and family.

Eventually the vessel you're trapped in ends up in the hands of the government. They wipe you of your memories‚ send you back in time to another world‚ to punish a man you have nothing to do with. Used as a tool for the state against your will.

You find a wife & have kid‚ and even thou it was predetermined‚ it's real to you and you love them both deeply.

One day you, 4 other guys & your kids get zapped into another world. There is tension between you and the other dads plus that weird uncle‚ but you're willing to call them your friends because what you've been thru together.

Then after staying back to protect both their kids and your own‚ they show up again with no memory of what you've been thru together, to every horrible thing you've been thru together. They have no recollection, claim your kid isn't yours, and on top of that don't trust you at all. You have to deal with the fact that the life you've led for like the last 35 - 40 years wasn't your own but it felt like it. That you have a mother you dont remember. That your friends dont remember you. That your son cant remember who HE is.

You keep having ur life taken from you over and over and over again. For the crime of what? existing? It's not fair.
