the way jounouchi talks about yami yugi here honestly reminds me of the way yugi's always going on about how he wants to be kaiba's rival and get to a place where they can have a fair duel

of course this means im thinking of a dragonshipping and rivalshipping concept where atem comes back and gets into the duel scene and kaiba expects to be his rival but he's like "no, jounouchi's my rival 😤 you already have a rival if you opened your eyes"
