I have a lot to say about Veilguard and the writing but more than anything, my main gripe is the lack of messy bitches.

Not just for the fun of having them, but for what they add to the companions dynamics. A character that is morally grey. Has lived life a certain way and is trying to unlearn certain behaviours. A character with a short fuse, someone needlessly sassy and sarcastic, someone who lies constantly.

What's better than a pair of haters challenging each other's perspectives, two sides of one issue where both refuse to budge because they both feel they're right. They cannot and will not reach common ground because they're both standing on business.

If Veilguard had ONE (1) loveable hot mess rolling around being a hater for no reason, it would have improved the game for me by 10000%
