Haitham finds it difficult to explain his current feelings, but there's something warm feeling his chest upon seeing Kaveh sharing the same happiness as him. Old memories being replayed for a moment inside of his head, reviving the ecstasy and gratification he feels whenever he is able to see that bright smile on his face. It suited him, a lot, and even if he doesn't say a word about it, his eyes speak through him, followed by the sweet contact of snuzzling his face against his skin, getting drunk on his scent and cherishing every single second that pass. A shaky sigh leaves his lips, the smile still adorning his face as his face leans on to feel the touches closer. Almost like cat, eyelids falling down in a peaceful sight, feeling comfortable enough to chase after the touch. His breathing stabilizes, heart beating faster and drops of sweat still falling from his forehead. He feels at ease, he feels at home. Allowing himself to relax for a moment, as this felt completely like a dream, one in which he is bound to wake up from sooner or later, at least until Kaveh snapped from his current daze.
It was inevitable, and he wasn't particularly looking to avoid it. From the very first moment Alhaitham agreed to indulge into the architect's provocations, he reminded himself that the consequences were going to be difficult to bear. Haitham couldn't say he wasn't expecting it. The movement of his torso as soon as he started sobbing over a thought that he definitely injected in his mind, far from reality, too clouded for his own good. He notices the panic in his voice, only limiting himself to stare for a moment and listen attentively to whatever he had to say. A truth that he is not content hearing it... Is that even the truth?
The scribe finds amusing that, 'til this day, Kaveh is unable to accept he can look right through him. It doesn't matter how much the other rambles and keeps up with excuses, Haitham could see what he really means and what he feels by merely looking into his eyes. And he is fine with it. Despite listening to Kaveh trying to push him aside and make him believe it was all a lie, he knows, that deep inside, his feelings are just as strong as his. Other person would have started a fuse over this, but all this time they have been living together, he has learned to deal with the heavy emotions the other experienced. Kaveh is depressed, and he understands it. He is willing to sacrifice his own feelings and keep them hidden as long as it's needed. For the sake of him, for the sake of them. So even though the words were hurtful, they didn't carry any meaning for Alhaitham. Blatant lies only being made up to protect himself from fake scenarios created in his head. Usual Kaveh. Silly Kaveh. Communication was never their forte, and it still comes to bite them back. It's not the moment to have a serious conversation about feelings or whatever they wanted to do with their relationship. It's complicated... It has always been, but the scribe feels drained enough to avoid any type of confrontation. He knows when to pick his battles, and he is aware both of them are vulnerable right now.
"I see." He is quickly to shift to his usual self. Visual contact piercing as ever, with the quite distinction of his orbs being full of hidden emotion, sadness even, yet being masked through the usual impassivity wore on his mien. "I did mean it. But we agreed not to talk about this, remember? It's a first for me in a long time too-- It's a normal human reaction and you don't owe me explanations." There's honesty in his words, not offended, on the contrary, this was anticipated.
After realizing the small bubble they had created for a while has burst, Haitham decides to stand up, letting go of Kaveh's body with a lingering touch of his fingertups as he walks towards the wardrobe to take a towel out, cleaning himself as he walks back to the bed, only to lay down next to Kaveh to clean him off as well. It doesn't matter if he complains about this, in all honesty Alhaitham didn't have the energy to argue. He is tired, emotionally drained, yet not regretting the encounter. He is grateful he had one more chance to see this side of Kaveh, and now that he unraveled his sweetness he realizes he can keep it going for at least one night. Tossing the towel across the room, his arm slides on Kaveh's shoulders, knuckles getting closer to his face as he wipes away the tears. What a mess. But he couldn't say he was not ready to deal with the consequences of losing his self-control. Still taking responsibility and doing something that might throw off the blonde, he leans over to kiss softly the top of his head. Last one, he told himself.
"I wasn't expecting you to be." He replies to him in the same whispery voice, acting surprisingly so gentle for the time being. The palm of his hand softly brushing his shoulder.
Part of him wanted to tell him how much he loved him, but Alhaitham knew better, and realized he needs to drop the subject as soon as possible, needs to find a way to work him up with the intention of shifting the mood, distract him from whatever negative thoughts he had roaming inside of his mind. "Ah. You could have waited until the morning to throw your tantrum. I was comfortable were I was laying before and you decided to interrupt me by overthinking. As always." His hand moves to his hair, fingers running through the golden locks, noticing how the red hairpins were a mess, tangled altogether. Sighs. He somehow always makes him cry. At this point, Alhaitham doesn't even attempt to be careful of his own words. It felt like fate, anything he says or does might end up in Kaveh crying. "You were acting so cutely, though. I might bring it during our next argument so I can see your red face and listen to your stuttering without fundaments." He teases, cracking up a small smile as he carefully takes out the pins, untangling the locks and combing his hair only with his fingers. Adorable. Haitham wanted to enjoy their sweet moment together, a little annoyed the mood was thrown off by the blonde's rollercoaster of emotions, but nonetheless grateful. Grateful he is able to have him in the same orbit as his.
There it is. That strong feeling clenching inside of his chest. The sound of his heart breaking over and over again, yet having the talent to remain calm on the outside. He appears to be nonchalant, not showing traces of worry even though his eyes were full of sadness. Kaveh could probably notice, but Haitham better than anyone knows, even if he could, he wouldn't bring it to the table. Because no one was as affected as Kaveh right now, someone who is probably confused, fighting with his inner thoughts to try and understand the repercussions of his drunkenness. He grabs softly his chin, lifting his face to make the blonde look at him. Finger moving the blond strands away from his face and keeping them secured at the back of his ear.
"I would like you to sleep here, as I take aftercare seriously, but I understand if you don't want to." Honesty above all. There's no use in lying, or pretending this was a mistake. At least, he wants Kaveh to realize everything is fine. Besides, he did find aftercare extremely necessary, and wouldn't feel at ease if he allowed Kaveh to go back to his room crying. So he lays down next to him, looking at the other with expectant eyes as he pats his chest. Come here. Funny, how the gem is still faintly glowing. "I'm in a good mood." He says, the aura emanating from him being cat-like again. "You can bring this in our arguments and I won't retort back, I promise."
Just one night.
Control had been long lost.
Kaveh isn't thinking when he rolls his hips on top of Alhaitham, nor is he thinking when he starts to bounce up and down, body trembling with each loud slap of skin that echoes in the room, paired with the sound of his pants and moans. He felt like a mess and he must have looked it, sweat rolling down the side of his face and he could feel it on his back, hair all over his shoulders and stuck on his neck, tickling and what remained of his braid slapping against his back. God, he wonders what happened to all his clips at this point. Were they still stuck in his hair or had they fallen off while he had tumbled in Alhaitham's bed, around the time he was sucking him off and had his hair grabbed too tight, or the many times the scribe had pulled on his hair painfully? He won't know until morning came and he had time to look for them to clean up.
"Uh... Mm!" Feeling hands touching across his body, he leans into the touch and yelps when they grab and pull him down, nearly losing his balance the first time in surprise. He tosses his head back, baring his neck and chest as his eyes squeeze shut, mouth open the whole time as he tries to gain air in his lungs, all the while making filthy noises that make his ears burn. Times like these make him wonder if he doesn't look too slutty, too filthy, too everything as he loses control. He wonders if the way he looks overly lewd with his hair tossed and voice cracking would turn the scribe off, a split second of self-consciousness. But he peeks down at the man, watches him look at him with heat in his eyes, moaning and tossing his head back in pleasure, the hard length pistoning in and out of him not relenting in heat and its fast thrust, he knows it's a stupid thought. Anyone with eyes could see Alhaitham desired him, passionately, and it made his heart beat louder in his ears as blood pumped hard through his veins. "Nooo... Haiyi, ah! Too- much!" He shakes his head side to side, overstimulated when he feels a hand wrap around his own length, stroking it in perfect sync it made his head spin. It didn't help that immediately after, his hips were grasped and his voice pitches higher as he thrusts in deeper, biting on his fingers as he desperately tries to keep some semblance of control. He feels so good, he's actually scared of passing out.
Kaveh whines loudly when his fingers are taken away, but the world flips and soon he feels his back supported, sharing a steamy kiss that's slightly sloppy as his body bounces in place, moaning into his mouth with abandon, tears forming in the corner of crimson eyes. His voice is growing uncontrolled now that he had nothing to stifle himself with, feeling saliva wet the corner of his lips. Kaveh wraps his arms around the man's back, gasping and nearly choking on his spit, such a mess he can't tell from up and down, throwing his head back when he thrusts particularly hard into his ass, nails scraping against his skin.
I love you.
The first time he hears it, Kaveh genuinely thinks he misheard. After all... Alhaitham? Telling him he loves Kaveh? That is ridiculous. Even now, the blond refused to believe it, even with all the pampering and affection, he denied it even when he was fucking him out of his mind, blaming the hormones for making up silly fantasies that made him want to scream those three words as well, breathe them against his lips with every punched-out moan, hold his face and kiss every inch of it till it seeped into his soul, carved into him so deep he would be cursed to have feelings for him forever. Dark thoughts, and hopeful thoughts alike, they were always a jumbled mess in him anyways. But once he's bent in half as he begged, the scribe thrusting into his so deep and hard he is sent skidding up the mattress every other second, there's little time to think anymore. It's easy to do so when Alhaitham is so attentive, so thick when he stretches him wide and thrusts up into him till he can feel him hit the curve inside. Kaveh returns the kisses messily, barely responsive as he's too busy shaking and tossing his head back when Alhaitham stimulates his length again, his hand warm and he's close.
When the second confession comes with his name rasped out in the end, his breath stutters. It's raw with emotion, like a slap in the face and Kaveh is crying. He lets out a sob as the next few thrusts send him spiraling, clinging onto Alhaitham tightly, eyes rolling back behind closed lids as he is kissed, swiping his tongue once and drooling as he lets out a last keen. Kaveh digs his nails into the plane of his back and shakes like a leaf when he feels himself tumbling over the edge.
The blond feels warmth fill him, and the loud smacking of skin stops. His skin prickles with electricity, over-sensitive as he continues to make soft satiated noises in the aftermath. Kaveh feels comforted and warm when Alhaitham continues to lay on him, a weight to keep him stable on the ground when he felt so light he might get blown away. He breathes loudly, taking gasps of air to fill his lungs once the shivers stop and his breath eventually levels. He cracks his eyes open to stare at teal eyes looking up at him from his stomach, and the sight he's faced with is so adorable he smiles serenely through his tears and reaches out to ruffle his hair, brushing his fingers through the short locks of hair. It's soft under his fingers, a comforting touch he continues until his other hand is taken in a tight hold, lacing fingers together. God, I love you. He's filled with so much love and tenderness he wishes Alhaitham's face was closer so he could kiss his forehead and nose. Instead, he caresses his face and pets him gently, scratching his scalp in a way he knows feels good. I love you, you're so beautiful, so handsome, and cute.
"Haiyi..." At this point, he thought blushing was not even possible. But he feels the telltale sign of warming cheeks in the cool bedroom air, hand pausing in his hair. He looks so honest then, Kaveh bathes in the compliment and lets it seep deep into his bones, far into his soul. He's happy. So, very happy, mind filled with fluff and nothing more. "I love..." you. But the words stay stuck in his throat, blinking his eyes slowly as tears fill them. Alhaitham said he loved him. "H-huh... No, this isn't... I swear it isn't!" Panic fills his voice as tears fall from crimson eyes, hands shaking as they go up to his face and wipe a trail. But as if the string keeping him together snapped, Kaveh lets out a wet sob and fat tears roll down his cheeks, hiccupping as he covers his face with both hands. He's so happy, he truly is the happiest he's felt in a long time, but the sudden wave of guilt and fear eats him up, an ugly feeling clawing out from the depths of his mind and choking him. "I... Haitham, I'm..." Pathetic, so pathetic. His lips tremble and he bites them to keep his voice down, shoulders shaking. He's a fully grown adult, has been for nearly a decade now, and he shouldn't be crying over some irrational fear. It feels like he's been cut through his chest, a pain so deep he can't even figure out where it comes from and he's vulnerable, the wound stinging more when he thinks it must trouble the scribe when he acts like an inconsolable child. He can't keep staying reliant on Alhaitham's goodwill, now, his feelings.
He can't possibly be that lucky.
"You're wrong, okay? Whatever you're thinking, you're wrong." He argues stubbornly with sniffles, coughing out the crack in his voice. He can pick himself up just fine-- he has to. "It's the hormones, the alcohol. I haven't had sex in a long time I'm just, overwhelmed. It was intense." A logical explanation, and maybe not so far from the truth. No other way could have broken him down so easily and so fast but the act of opening up his raw feelings to bear the weight of truth. But Kaveh knows it's a weak excuse against the scribe. Just his luck to fall in love with one of the smartest men in Sumeru. "I'm... not ready," he confesses in a whisper, barely audible, Kaveh's not sure if he could hear it himself. He's too tired to pretend and deny Alhaitham's love for him any longer, yet unable to accept the existence of either of their feelings, but also unable to throw away his feelings and face rejection and lose everything they had. He wants to stay as they are, neither hate nor love, just being by his side. But he feels so selfish saying it, he doesn't dare look at Alhaitham in the eyes. "I'm sorry. I'm really sorry..." It's fine if Alhaitham lost faith in him now, it's fine. It would have been better if he could have left the house first, cut him off before his feelings resurfaced. But it's fine. At least Kaveh can still be prepared.
Haha... See? Alhaitham deserved better than a man always bracing himself to fall.

Fast cars & Freedom: Bad Liar (12/?)
The end of summer zoo trip has arrived, as tensions run high will the trip be a disaster? Catch up HERE
Pairings: Logan x Ellie, Colt x Ellie
Rating: Mature
Ellie had gotten herself in well over her head again. After Logan told her what he wanted, and the blow up with Colt. She made herself busy with work, and spending her free time with Luca. She had been looking forward to the zoo trip all summer, but that morning she woke up dreading the day. She had minimal contact with Colt, and Logan was often at the track preparing for a big race coming up. She got up and got herself ready before waking Luca up. Once luca was ready they went down and had breakfast. Ellie sat there picking at her muffin, not having much of an appetite, and her stomach was flopping all over the place.
“Hey guys. We're sorry but we're not going to make it to the zoo today.” Ellie gave her dad a confused look. “Um ok. Not that I didn't want you guys to come but, it was only supposed to be The four of us. Luca, logan, colt and I.”
“oh Logan invited us the other day. But, sally and I are going away for the day.” Frank grabbed a cup of coffee while the frustration swirled in Ellies head. “You ok kiddo? You look a little pale.” Ellie shook her head “Yeah, im fine just, my nerves are shot.”
“Grampy, I'm going to the zoo today. I'm going to see Lions and pandas and tigers and hiphopitamuses.” she grinned, Ellie and Frank chuckling at the mispronunciation. “You mean hippopotamus’s” Frank snickered. “Yeah, that's what I said hiphopitamuses. Silly grampy.”
“Well you have fun. And don't let the monkeys fling poop at you.” Frank waved. “Dad! Seriously?” Ellie scolded him. He stuck out his tongue and walked out the door.
Ellie and Luca drove alone, meeting Logan and Colt there. After a 2 hour drive they pulled into the parking area of the zoo, meeting Colt at the gate. “Colt.” Luca went running, a wide smile spread across his face “Hey princess.” he scooped her up in a hug. “Hi Colt.” Ellie walked up to the too. “Ellie.” He acknowledged her. He still was angry, her stomach churned again, the stress was eating at her. “Hey Luca, Hey Ellie, you guys made it finally.” Logan came walking up, Ellie turned towards his voice glad he was there but her face falling slightly seeing Stacie standing next to him. “Oh, hey Stacie I didn't expect to see you here.”
“Oh, yeah Logan asked me to tag along. Riya and Darius couldn't make it.” Stacie grinned.
Ellie chewed the inside of her cheek, trying not to say something she might regret.
They paid for their tickets and made their way into the zoo. Luca was ecstatic, she loved the zoo and Ellie would often take her back on the East coast. She would always tell her how her parents would take her when she was a little girl, and her favorite animals to see were the otters. Logan was just as excited as Luca he had never been to the zoo before. They walked around coming up to the Arctic Fox. "Wow, so pretty. Its fur is snow white." Ellie marveled at the beautiful animal before her. "Well, its white what did you expect." Colt snorted, Ellie shot him a dirty look. "Let's move on." Stacie suggested, sensing the tension.
They walked up to the baboons, they watched them run around and jump, playing with each other. Ellie stood next to Colt, who had Luca on his shoulders, her gaze set on Logan standing with Stacie. His hand planted on her shoulder as he stood behind her, pointing things out.she watched as Stacie laughed, and then playfully slapped his chest.
"Ok. Let's move on." Ellie snapped, they all looked at her as she quickly turned making her way to the next animal.
They stood in front of the penguin display. "OOH penguins, I love penguins Colt. Get closer. " Luca tugged on his hair. "Ouch. Alright, Alright. I'll move closer." Logan stood next to Ellie and Stacie. "Awe look at the babies." Stacie swooned. "Did you know the father hatches the egg while the mother hunts?" Logan crossed his arms, pleased with his input. "Oh yeah? Where did you hear that?" Stacie quirked her brow, Logan gave her a lopsided grin "happy feet." Ellie rolled her eyes annoyed. Stacie was her friend, but why did Logan invite her on their family outing, or for lack of better terms, dysfunctional family outing?
Of course you'd be impressed by that Ellie mumbles under her breath. Colt cocked his head to the side. "Something bothering you Elle?"
"NO." she snapped.
"You know most penguins go through life with one partner. Once they find them, they never seperate." Ellie shot him an unamused look. "If only some humans were like that." He focus on her as he spoke. "Come on squirt, lets go look at the giraffe's."
Ellie stood there alone a minute while everyone followed colt. She could feel her stomach churning again. This was not how she anticipated the day going. Once she semi composed herself she joined the others.
After an afternoon of snide remarks and jabs between the 3 of them Ellie finally had her fill. They were standing in line to get drinks. It was hot, and tensions were running high. "Can we go see the tigers? Mommy, I want to see the polar bears, you promised we could see the polar bears. When Can we see something else. " Luca whined.
"Luca, we will go in a minute. Calm down and let stacie get her drink." Ellie snapped. "Whoa Ellie calm down. Are you mad about something?" Logan questioned as Ellie stood there, mouth agape "Seriously Logan?" She threw her hands up in the air "Why did you invite Stacie here?"
"I didn't think it would be a problem." Ellie rolled her eyes. "Of course not. Nothing is ever a problem. This was supposed to be a family outing. Is. Is something going on with you and Stacie?" She pointed at him, just as Stacie walked up. "No, were just friends Ellie." Logan said in defense prompting stacie to chime in "Ellie, I told you I would never do that to you."
"Why do you care so much Ellie? You want to be with Logan?" Colt broke his silence. The four began to argue amongst themselves for a few minutes, finally Ellie spoke up "I'm done with this. Come on Luca, lets let's go see the polar bears." She turned looking for Luca, she was nowhere to be found. "Luca? LUCA!" she shouted panic setting in.
"Luca." Logan shouted, still not getting a response. Ellie began to hyperventilate colt on her immediately "Ellie, Elle I need you to calm down. We're gonna find her. Breathe in." He looked up "Logan, go look by the polar bear enclosure, and then to the Lions. Stacie, go tell a staff member we have a missing child." The two nodded and took off.
"Colt, my baby. What if we." Ellie sobbed.
"Hey, calm down. We're gonna find her, trust me." He pulled her into a tight embrace, calming her down. "Now, is there anywhere else she would go?" Ellie's eyes went wide "Hippos."
Colt grabbed her hand as they took off running, darting around the other visitors. They came upon the Hippo enclosure, their eyes darted around before Colt locked eyes on the small brunette child "Luca." She shouted, she turned smiling at him. "Ellie, I got her." He shouted as he scooped her up in his arms. "Luca, you scared us. You can't wander off sweetheart."
"Lulu, oh thank god. Baby you can't wander off, you scared us to death." The three stood ellie and colt holding onto her for dear life.
Logan and Stacie ran up, thankful she was ok. A slight pained look on his face as he watched the interaction between the three. "I'll go and inform the staff we found her." Stacie gave his shoulder a squeeze as she parted. Logan made his way to the trio "Thank god you found her. Hey lulu, you really gave us a scare." Luca reached over for Logan. "Are you mad at me uncle Logie?" Logan chuckled "no. I'm glad you're ok. But you can't wander off like that ok."
They decided to call it a day after that. Luca having school the next morning. Both men agreeing to come see her off. As Ellie put Luca to bed that night the day replaying in her head. How did things get so screwed up. Was there really something going on between Stacie and Logan? She knew Colt was upset about the divorce, but the way he stepped up and took control of the situation made her really believe he would be a good dad, if he was Lucas father. And the few minutes Luca was gone terrified her, it was just a few minutes but it felt like a lifetime. The nagging nauseous feeling crept back up again, she couldn't wait for it to be all over, the divorce, the paternity results. She laid down, tossing and turning in bed most of the night.
The next morning she woke up, got Luca ready and sure enough both Colt and Logan were there to see her off. Luca was excited to start school, she excelled in preschool, and placed much higher than a kindergarten level on her school entrance test. Though she most likely got her smarts from her mother, Colt was also very smart, and Logan really showed his intellectual side during the study date with Riya and Darius all those years ago. She would definitely be a force to be reckoned with in school, that was for sure.
Ellie took the day off of work, she knew she wouldn't be productive with her mind occupied with Luca being at school. She spent the day wandering around the house, cleaning up, unpacking boxes she still hadn't gotten around to. If she were being honest with herself she was also trying to block out the fact the court date was the next week. She often found herself wondering if she were making a mistake, and every time she wondered it, Dracys words popped in her head. He loved Luca, he really seemed like he would be a good dad. But what if being a family wasn't enough? What if he turned out to be just like Kaneko, wanting more, the crew again. She took a deep breath, allowing herself to think those thoughts brought back the familiar nauseous feeling. She took a deep breath calming herself down, she would cross that bridge when the time came, only if she were Colts.
Before she knew it, it was almost time to get Luca from the bus. Logan had a race he coming up, so he had to take off right after they got Luca on the bus. Colt however, would be there. Ellie sat on the front patio waiting when she heard the familiar sound of a bike coming down the street. She watched him as he pulled into the driveway. She always loved the way he looked when he rode. He had traded in his old leather jacket for a new one, his shoulders broader than when he was 19 going on 20. He was still as fit as ever, ellies mind flashed back to the night they hooked up, her hands pressed against his muscular chest. She bit her lip at the thought, his impossibly tight shirt not helping the situation as he walked towards her . "I knew you would be out here already." He smirked as he walked onto the porch. "Yeah, how'd you know that." She tilted her head at him. "Because you're always like an hour early for everything."
He was right, and she couldn't believe he remembered.
"You ever think you'll go back to a car?" She asked.
"Not anytime soon," He chuckled "Guess I'll have to use one of the cars I Have sitting around for when I have Luca."
"I miss it." Colt eyed her "miss what? The bike? You want that too?"
"NO. I miss the riding. The thrill, the feeling." A blush crept up on her cheeks she prayed he didn't notice.
"Let's take a ride. " He stood holding out his hand. Ellie hesitated "I ahhh. I dont know, Luca-"
"will be off the bus in 45 minutes, we have time. Come on, we have plenty of time." Ellie contemplated for a split second, before an old feeling she had tucked away ignited her body. "Let's do it." She jumped up following him to the bike. They climbed on and he fired up the bike.
She wrapped her arms around his waist tightly, her head rested against his back. She watched as the scenery flew by in a blur, the sound of his peaceful breathing putting her at ease. She missed this more than she thought, she needed just one last ride before she closed that chapter of her life completely. They drove for about twenty minutes and then came back to the house. They got off the bike, "thanks. I needed that." Ellie smiled as they walked together to the patio. "Yeah anytime." He sat down fidgeting with his thumbs. "I'm leaving town Elle." He blurted out. Ellie felt her heart drop into her stomach. "Colt. We have court, and what about Luca?" She was shocked, she couldn't believe he would just leave.
"I can't go to court, I can't go and I won't. If I go, I will contest it all. But if I leave, you'll get what you want, you'll be happy." He turned looking at her "That's all I want for you El, to be happy, that is all I ever wanted. I'll tell Luca, it's not forever, just until after the court date." His voice cracking a little, she could tell he was giving everything he had not to break down, she had seen it once before, the night his father died. She tried to do the same but her eyes failed her terribly. "Colt I. I'm sorry." She began to sob, a wave of emotion crashing over her. She hated this, she hated all of this. Why couldn't he of just got the annulment 6 years ago, why did she still have to care about them both?
"Ellie please don't cry, please." His voice wavering more. As he pulled her into a hug. "What. About. The test results, what if they call?" She sniffled. "You call me, text me leave me a voicemail. Its shotty connection so I may not get them right away. If for some reason i can't get there, and she's not mine, just don't call me and tell me." Ellie shook her head. "When will you leave?"
"This weekend, friday morning. Just for a week."
Before they knew it the bus pulled up. They were greeted by a bright eyed, big smile little girl. "Mooooomy, coooolt." She flew into Ellies arms almost knocking her over. "Whoa." Ellie goggled, steadying herself. "Did you have a good day?" "I had the best day ever!" She ran to colts arms as he scooped her up twirling her around. "Hey sweetheart, what did you do today?" He put her down as they sat down "Well my teacher tried to teach us counting today and they only had us count to 20. I said that's it?"
"Oh yeah? Well what did she say?" Colt cocked his brow, knowing Luca she gave this teacher a run for her money. "Well she said that we would work on counting past 20 later on in the year. So I said, lady I can count past 20 with no problem." They looked to her to finish. "And she said oh yeah, that's excellent what can you count to? And then I said um like 1,000. So she didn't believe me so I started counting." Her face going somber "She. She cut me off at 497." Ellie and Colt both looked to each other and laughed.
"That's amazing squirt. You are so smart, just like mommy." Colts sincere gaze met her eyes. "Hey Luca. I have to tell you something ok?" Luca looked up at him "I just wanted to let you know that I have to go out of town for a little bit."
"You're leaving?" She sniffled. "Yeah but not til Friday, and just a few days."
"Will you put me on the bus every morning?" She batted her tiny little lashes, Just like her mom, he was a sucker for it and Colt was warped around her tiny little fingers. "Yes I will."
"And get me off the bus?" Ellie chuckled, she was persuasive.
"Of course, wouldn't miss it for the world." Colt hugged her.
The week flew past, she missed Logan and wasn't sure what to do about him. Could she really divorce Colt and then date Logan? Was that even fair? Would she lose him forever? Could she handle that? Friday morning Colt came to put Luca on the bus, Ellie thought it best if he did it alone, it would be hard on them both when he left. Just a few short days and it would be over, but was she ready? Only time would tell.
Colt drove the biggest part of the day. Fighting back the urge to turn around and show up to that court house next week. He needed to push through to get to his destination and try to clear his mind.
After almost 8 hours he pulled into the Lake Tahoe area. Up a gravel driveway to a nice cabin that sat by the lake. The woman stood there hands on her hips, "Bout time you came up here to see me."
"Hey Mom."

Take it All Away: Chapter Three
Author: Lopithecus Pairing: Aaron Dingle/Robert Sugden Rating: Mature Word Count: 3721 Alternate: AO3 Author’s Note: Can I just stay living in the reality of this fic instead of the reality that Ryan is actually leaving the show? Thanks. It's like watching Stendan all over again (who remembers Stendan?) Guess who bawled their eyes out when Brendan got a life sentence and Stendan was torn apart? This writer! Guess who is bawling their eyes out as they watch Robert's exit and Robron gets torn apart? This writer!!! *Goes off and cries*
Robert goes downstairs when he smells something burning, dressed in a t-shirt, tracksuit bottoms, and dressing gown. Scrunching his nose and ignoring the way his stomach flips, he walks up to Aaron who is waving an oven mitt in the opening of the stove. There’s so much smoke, they’ll be lucky if the fire alarm doesn’t go off. “What are you doing?” he asks his husband.
Aaron startles, looking back at him and then taking whatever had been in the oven out. “Where have you been? You’ve been missing for hours.”
Robert shrugs. “Upstairs thinking.”
“For hours?”
“Yes.” Robert eyes the food and doesn’t tell Aaron he had done that thinking sitting on the floor because he couldn’t bring himself to even touch the bed. “What is that?”
Aaron grimaces down at it. “It’s supposed to be macaroni and cheese.” He places the glass dish down on the counter, near the sink. “I followed a recipe and all.”
“The last time you tried to follow a recipe, I ended up redoing it for you… and it wasn’t even made for me.”
Aaron screws up his mouth, mocking him. “Yes, I remember, Robert. Will you just help me with this?”
Robert sighs, feeling tired. “Why don’t we just order some takeaway?”
Robert regrets saying it as soon as he sees the frown on Aaron’s face. “You don’t want to cook? You love cooking.”
Robert shrugs. “I’m just not really up for it.”
Aaron’s frown seems to get more pronounced as he eyes Robert. “I was trying to cook for us to try and make ya feel better but cooking might actually be a good distraction for ya.”
“Distraction from what?” Liv asks as soon as she enters the house. Robert gives Aaron a warning look, reminding his husband to not tell Liv what happened to him.
Aaron licks his lips and forces a smile. “Work. Been telling ‘im he’s working too hard, haven’t I?”
“Well, I don’t need the distraction.” Robert sits down at the table, pulling his dressing gown tighter around himself. “I’m not going into work tomorrow anyway.”
“You’re not?” Liv sits across from him. “Why not?”
He can see Aaron from the corner of his eyes, waiting for his answer. Robert stays quiet, though, not knowing what to say. When Aaron realizes this, he jumps in, saving him. “He just needed a break, that’s all.” Robert gives Liv a weak smile to try and confirm Aaron’s answer but by how Liv’s eyebrows knit together, he knows he fails spectacularly. Aaron places a gentle hand on his shoulder, squeezing slightly. His husband is worried about him. He can feel it. “What would you like for your takeaway, Liv?”
“Indian?” she asks, finally dragging her eyes away from Robert. She’s smart and will know something is wrong. Robert is afraid of when she finally decides to not leave it alone.
“Sounds good.” Robert feels Aaron’s hand lift from his shoulder but not before Aaron rubs him briefly.
Aaron ends up ordering the food and when it arrives they all sit around the table to eat it. Liv is retelling her day and what has happened at college. Robert doesn’t hear a single word of it, too lost in his own thoughts, but she’s smiling so Robert figures she had a good day. He picks at his food, never really eating it, and he can feel Aaron’s concerned stare. When Robert dares a look at Aaron’s face, his guilt squeezes at his chest at the immense worry he sees there.
It doesn’t take long for Liv to notice. “Okay, what’s really going on?”
“Liv,” Aaron warns, no real bite behind his words.
“No, don’t dismiss me,” she says. “I’m starting to get really scared. Did something happen?”
Aaron sighs, finally peeling his eyes off Robert. “It’s nothing you have to worry about. Listen, I need to talk to Robert. Alone.”
“You can’t just send me to my room!” Liv says, agitated.
Aaron sighs again, this time heavier, more tired. “Liv, please.”
Liv looks between them, Aaron with pleading eyes and Robert avoiding looking at her all together, eyes glued to his meal. She eventually pushes away from the table, more forceful than probably necessary, and says harshly, “Fine.” She storms upstairs, stomping the whole way.
Aaron turns back to him. “Are you okay? You’ve hardly eaten.”
“I don’t feel well.”
“Are you still in pain?”
Robert shakes his head. He is but that’s not what is making him ill. “My stomach. It won’t settle.”
Aaron’s eyes narrow in thought. “The drug should be out of your system by now.”
“It is. It’s just… it’s an upset stomach, Aaron, it’s fine,” Robert explains, getting up. He walks over to the sofa and sits down, Aaron following but not joining him. He stays standing, eyes trained on Robert. “I made an appointment for tomorrow to get tested. That’s why I’m not going into work.”
Aaron’s shoulders slump. “Robert…” He comes over and sits down next to him, facing him. “Even if you weren’t going to do that, I would understand if you wanted to take a few days off work.” Aaron reaches for him, hesitates, and more guilt builds in Robert’s chest. In the end, Aaron decides it’s safe enough to grab Robert’s hand and hold it. “And I really am sorry ‘bout what I said earlier. I didn’t mean it like that.” Robert nods in acknowledgement, squeezes Aaron’s hand. “Would you like me to go with you to the appointment?”
Robert shakes his head, doesn’t want Aaron to have to deal with the hassle. “No, I’ll be fine on my own.”
“You sure?” Aaron asks. “Because I can take the day off, Robert, I don’t mind.”
Robert smiles at his husband, trying to come across as sincere. “I know you can but I don’t want you to have to.” He shrugs. “They won’t know the results right away, anyway.”
Aaron nods in thought. “I suppose.” He bites his bottom lip. “Only if you’re sure.”
Again Robert smiles at him. “I’m sure.”
Pursing his lips, Aaron nods one more time before getting up. “I think I’m going to head to bed early. It’s been a… stressful day and I’m completely knackered.”
“Alright, I’ll join you later.” Aaron pats his shoulder before turning and heading up the stairs to their bedroom.
Robert sits downstairs for a long time, replaying the whole event that took place last night over and over again in his head, trying to fill in the missing pieces. He doesn’t like not remembering and sometimes he thinks he gets close but it ends up slipping away from him. It’s almost midnight by the time he goes up stairs to get ready for bed. When he’s brushing his teeth, he notices the bags under his eyes and how messy his hair is. He hadn’t bothered trying to style it after the bath.
When he’s completed most of his night time routine, Robert enters his and Aaron’s bedroom. He stares at the bed and feels the way his heart starts to beat faster in his chest, the hotel’s bed coming to mind. He tells himself he’s being ridiculous, that he should be able to get into his own bed but his feet won’t listen to him. They stay glued to the floor and it isn’t until Robert turns around and leaves the room that they move.
He grabs a blanket from a closet in the hall and heads back downstairs, unfolding it as he goes. Robert slowly lowers himself to the sofa once more, wincing in pain, and then lies down, covering his body with the blanket and using one of the sofa pillows under his head. He’ll sleep here tonight and try the bed again tomorrow. If Aaron asks, Robert will come up with some excuse, he’s sure.
*~~~*
Robert wakes with a start, one hand on his shoulder, and clattering in the kitchen. He looks quickly around the room before his eyes land on Aaron, hovering above him. His husband is frowning.
With an exhausted groan, Robert sits up. The pain has lessened a little, it feels, and he’s glad about that. “Morning,” he says groggily.
Aaron runs a hand through Robert’s hair. “Morning. You were having a bad dream.”
“I know…”
Aaron sits down on the coffee table, face full of concern. “Did you sleep down here all night?”
Robert looks around the room, feigning ignorance. “Must have. Probably fell asleep.”
Aaron stares at him and for a second Robert is afraid he won’t believe him but then Aaron sucks on his bottom lip and nods. Liv walks by them, bag slung on her back. “I’m off then.” Neither of them acknowledge her statement and she stands there, staring at them for a few seconds before rolling her eyes and exiting the house.
With a light intake of breath, Aaron stands. “Want some breakfast?”
“Sure,” Robert answers, standing as well and following Aaron into the kitchen. He finally feels a little hungry, the nausea no longer there.
Aaron grabs a couple of slices of bread to toast and places them in the toaster, pressing down on the lever. “Want anything else with it?” Robert shakes his head. “Is your stomach feeling better?”
“Yeah, a little.”
“Good.” Aaron sits down across from him. “What time is your appointment at?”
“Ten.” Robert looks at the clock. “I should actually get ready soon.” He makes to get up but Aaron places a hand on his forearm.
“Not without eating first.” Aaron gives him a pointed look, telling Robert he better listen.
Robert lowers himself back into the chair. “Right.”
When the toast pops up, Aaron grabs it and spreads butter onto the slices. He then hands over the plate to Robert who starts eating immediately. Aaron watches him the whole time, hands cupped together and chin resting on his knuckles. “You okay?” he finally asks when Robert finishes his toast.
Robert rolls his eyes. “I’m fine. You really need to stop asking me that.”
“It’s only been a day since… I’m worried.”
Robert pushes away from the table. “Well, I’m fine. I have to be, don’t I?” He goes upstairs to their bedroom.
When he gets to the room, he opens their closet and looks inside. All his shirts are hung there, neatly in orders of colors and patterns. Floral is in one section and plain is in another. It’s an intricate organization that Aaron always teases him for but at the moment it just makes Robert anxious to look at. Pulling a handful out, he throws them onto the bed, messing up his order, and shuffles through them, trying to find something to wear. When he doesn’t find anything in that pile, he pulls out all of them and throws those onto the bed as well. Still, he can’t find anything that doesn’t make his heart pound wildly in his chest.
These are the types of shirts that made Theo attracted to him in the first place. His shirts and trousers and maybe even his hair drew him to Robert and it makes Robert uncomfortable. His skin crawls with just the thought of putting those clothes back on him and having someone look at him like that again. Or, at least, anyone but Aaron because Aaron is safe. He would never hurt Robert, not like that.
Turning back to the closet, Robert pulls out one of Aaron’s t-shirts, a hoodie, and then takes a pair of his trousers out of the drawers in the bureau. He slips them on quickly after changing his underwear. Once done with that, he goes and brushes his teeth for the morning and then heads back downstairs.
He’s greeted with Aaron grabbing for his keys to leave for work. Aaron notices the clothes he’s wearing and raises an eyebrow but otherwise says nothing. “I’m off to work.” He leans in and kisses Robert on the cheek. “I’ll see ya later, yeah?”
“Of course.” Aaron nods and heads to the door. Robert’s heart suddenly starts pounding hard and he can feel the panic quickly overtaking him at the thought of going to this appointment alone. “Aaron, wait.” Aaron turns to him and waits for Robert to speak. Robert squirms, opening his mouth but then changing his mind. Still, Aaron stands there, eyes trained on him expectantly. Robert tries again. “Could you come with me?”
It takes a second for Aaron to react but he soon lets out a sympathetic breath and a small smile appears on his face. “Yeah, of course, Robert. I wanted to come in the first place.” He walks up to Robert and places a hand on his shoulder. Robert resists the urge to pull away. He doesn’t want Aaron’s sympathy. “You don’t have to put up a front for me, Robert.” Aaron searches Robert’s eyes and then gestures to the sofa. “Come on.”
They sit, Aaron facing him. “Do you remember when you told me that you have to be strong all the time?” Robert nods, avoiding Aaron’s eyes and Aaron grabs his hand, holding it tightly. “You don’t have to be strong this time, Robert.” Robert can feel the tears pooling in his eyes. “Let me be strong for you this time.”
Robert sniffles and that’s what breaks the dam. The tears slip from his eyes and run down his cheeks, and Aaron pulls Robert into a hug, allowing him to sob into his shoulder. “M’sorry, Aaron,” he croaks.
He feels Aaron shake his head. “You have nothing to be sorry for, Robert. None of this is your fault.” Aaron pushes away and holds each side of Robert’s face, forcing Robert to look at him. “Listen, I mean it. None of it is.” Robert nods and Aaron smiles, small and sad. He wipes away Robert’s tears, leans in for a quick kiss, and then gets up. “We better get going.”
Robert wipes at his eyes again and stands as well. “Yeah.”
The ride to Hotten General feels like it takes forever and Robert’s nerves are on overdrive. Sitting in the waiting room seems like an impossibility and Aaron has to tell him more than once to stop bouncing his leg up and down. Eventually, Aaron gives up and just holds onto Robert’s hand. It’s a comforting feeling and it makes him relax a little but he still bounces his leg. When his name is called, he feels his heart jump into his throat.
Aaron leans into his ear as they follow the nurse. “It’ll be fine.” Robert nods in agreement even though his nerves don’t calm.
The first thing the doctor does when she enters the room, is explain what is going to happen and asks him how recently he has had unprotected sex. When she then asks Aaron to step out of the room, Aaron locks eyes with him, asking silently if that’s what Robert wants. He nods and Aaron leaves, saying he’ll be out in the waiting room. Once he’s gone, the doctor takes a cheek swab, has him drop his trousers and boxers to do an exam of his genitals and swab around the areas that sexual contact would have been made, and then has him pee into a cup.
“We’ll have you come back in four to five weeks to get a blood sample. Any sample prior to that won’t be able to tell us if you are HIV positive or negative since the antibodies wouldn’t have formed this quickly,” she explains. “We’ll look for genital herpes and syphilis at this time too.”
“I have to wait that long?”
The doctor nods, giving him an understanding smile. “Unfortunately, yes. Since the unprotected sex you are worried about only happened two nights ago, if we were to test your blood now, it would only come back as negative. This isn’t a good thing because it could end up being a false negative seeing as the antibodies that tell us whether HIV is present, won’t be there yet.”
Robert nods, feeling disheartened. “And the results for these tests now, how long will I have to wait?”
“Two to three days.” She’s still smiling in that way that tells Robert she understands how frustrating this is. “I suggest you don’t engage in any unprotected sex until you have the results of the HIV, genital herpes, and syphilis tests.”
Robert wipes a hand down his face. “Right. Yeah, of course.”
“The front desk will help you set up a follow up appointment to get your blood drawn.” She then leaves, allowing Robert to mull things over peacefully.
He gets up and heads back out to the waiting room where he sees his husband sitting anxiously in a chair. Aaron’s leg is now the one that is bouncing up and down and he is twiddling his fingers restlessly. Robert walks up to him and sits down after talking to the receptionist, sighing. “She can’t do a blood test right now since the results won’t be accurate.”
“Okay…”
“She wants me to come back in four to five weeks.”
“What?” Aaron turns more towards him. “That’s a long time.”
Robert nods in agreement. “I’ll get the results of the tests done today in a few days but other than that, I have to wait to get more done.” Robert briefly looks over to Aaron and lowers his voice. “In the meantime, we can’t have unprotected sex.”
Aaron shakes his head slightly, not fussed. “We don’t normally anyway.”
“But not always…”
Aaron’s lips thin. “I didn’t think you’d be up for it for a while anyway.” Robert can feel Aaron’s eyes travel down and back up his body in curiosity. “You know you can take as long as you need, right, Rob?”
Robert swallows. He didn’t want to admit to Aaron that he didn’t want sex at all right now. “Yeah, I know.”
Aaron doesn’t look like he believes him but he doesn’t say anything more about it and instead pats his shoulder. “Come on. I was thinking we could maybe go to the pub.”
Robert screws up his face. “I’d rather go home.”
“Okay, we can do that.” Robert tries to hear the disappointment in Aaron’s voice but he can’t. Somehow, that doesn’t make him feel any better about denying Aaron his wish.
They drive back home in silence and when they enter The Mill, Robert goes and sits down on the sofa while Aaron stands there, staring at him. He’s still holding onto his keys, playing with them, when he speaks. “Can you get STDs from kissing?”
“What?” Robert looks at him, eyebrows furrowing. “No, I don’t think so.” Silence passes between them and hurt begins to form in Robert’s chest. “Do you think I gave you something?”
Aaron shrugs. “Well, we have been kissing since… since what happened.”
Robert gapes at him, irrationally hurt at the thought that Aaron would think that. He jumps up from the sofa, suddenly angry. “Oh, I’m sorry, Aaron, that I got raped and might have given you something.”
Aaron is shaking his head. “That’s not-”
Robert doesn’t let him finish and instead grabs his own keys and storms out of the house, ignoring Aaron calling after him. He walks aimlessly, hands shoved into Aaron’s trouser pockets. He eventually finds himself on the bridge over The Ford, looking over and into the pool of water below. Robert clasps his hands together and tries to calm himself, feeling guilty and disgusting and he wants a hole to open up and swallow him whole.
His skin is crawling and phantom sensations of Theo’s hands crawl up the inside of his thighs. He wishes he could remember what happened but at the same time he doesn’t want to. Robert doesn’t know if remembering fragments is better or worse and sometimes memories come back to him, especially in his dreams, like the nightmare he had this morning. Theo’s hands holding him down and his voice telling him how gorgeous he looked haunted him in it. It makes him sick and his skin prickles more.
“Robert?” Robert turns abruptly to see Chas standing there. “You alright?”
Robert pushes off the rail. “Yeah, yeah.” He shoves his hands into his pockets again.
Chas scrutinizes him. “Are you wearing Aaron’s clothes?”
Robert looks down at himself as if having to confirm in his own head that he is wearing Aaron’s clothes and forces a smile. “Uh, yeah, you know, married couples sharing clothes and all.”
Chas chuckles. “Somehow I can’t see Aaron wearing yours.”
“He has before.” Chas raises a skeptical eyebrow. “Okay, not often but he has.”
“I’m sorry, Robert, but our Aaron wouldn’t be caught dead in floral pattern.”
“Floral is a nice look,” Robert protests, enjoying the familiar banter between them and being able to just act normal for a little while.
“Maybe for acquired tastes,” Chas says and they both laugh. Robert leans back down on the railing and Chas joins him, eyes on him. Robert should have known the facade wouldn’t last long. “You look tired, Love.”
Robert’s easy smile drops and he sighs heavily. “I haven’t been sleeping well.”
“Have you talked to Aaron about this?”
“Of course, I have.” He stands straighter again. “Look, Chas, it’s nothing. I’m fine.” He walks away, deciding to head back home.
When he enters, Aaron is right there hugging him tight. “I’m so sorry, Robert.”
Robert wraps his arms around Aaron, holding him. “No, I’m sorry. I overreacted.” He pulls away. “You have every right to be concerned about yourself.”
“No, I-I should be focused on you right now.”
“Aaron,” Robert stops him. “It’s fine. I understand. It’s… scary and we both need to support each other right now.”
“Robert…”
“It’s fine, Aaron.” He places his keys down. “Depending on my results, we’ll get you tested as well if you want.”
Aaron hesitates and Robert hates himself for causing Aaron to be afraid of upsetting him. “Okay.”
“Now,” Robert starts, walking into the kitchen. “What do you want for tea?”
Surprise crosses Aaron’s face and he follows Robert. “You’re going to cook?”
“Yeah,” he says, shrugging. “It’s about time I get some normalcy back in my life and move on.”
Aaron looks unconvinced but says nothing more, sitting down at the table. “Burgers would be nice.”
Robert forces a wide smile. “Burgers it is.”

Terrible accidents ☂️ pt 1
Diego hargreeves x reader.
Warnings ? Big angst !! Kinda sad. Some spoilers if you didn't finish the show.
Summary- you and Diego have been dating for awhile but what happens next to tear you guys apart ? Do you survive the gun shot?
~~~~
"why did you do that??" Diego asked angrily.
"I was helping five save the world by getting rid of those two idiots who are trying to stop us."
"you could have gotten everybody In danger or killed."
"we're all ready In danger. But thanks for worrying about me."
"i do worry about you, just not when you do stupid stuff"
You headed towards the door.
"so your just going to walk away like always?" You stopped in your tracks with your hand on the door.
"or maybe I just don't want to argue anymore." You said and walked out of his boiler room place and slammed the door as hard as you could.
You didn't need Diego always there to help you, so you did what you did best. You went back to go after cha cha and hazel.
You are number 10, you have the power of telekinesis, that really comes in handy, you don't need knife boy.
You and Diego have had many fights. You usually go back because you feel really bad and miss him. But you didn't always go back. You guys stopped dating and talking for a whole year because of a fight.
~~~
Flashback
11 pm
Diego comes through the door. "Were you with her again?"
No answer. The irony is, that is the answer. You nodded a little, clenching your jaw.
"you don't even work with her anymore. Why are you always there?"
"she just needed help looking into something."
"all day?"
".. look I know what your thinking but it was just work related."
"sure."
"really? so what? Again You think I'm cheating?" He laughs a tiny bit, sarcasm highly noted.
"glad you think this is amusing."
"just because we've dated before doesn't mean everytime I see her im fucking her!"
"wow okay just real mature." You said heading to the door.
"walking away again? Typical"
"yeah because if you're going to be this way there's no point in staying."
"fine. Then leave!"
"fine!"
Slam
End of flashback
You put a tracker on Cha's Cha's car just in case something went South, which it did you didn't really get into the action part before everyone decided to stop you.
They must have settled down in a different hotel room. smart.
You went through the bathroom window and snuck up behind them using your telekinesis to open the front door and throw them off. but they already knew. You knocked Hazel's gun out of his hand but at the same time a bullet came hitting you in the chest. You moaned in pain falling on the floor. You aimed at Cha Cha pulling the trigger only getting her leg. She aimed at you again hitting your chest and finishing you.
After what happened Cha Cha and Hazel left quickly hearing the police sirens from afar.
"come on stupid stop staring at my leg and let's go before the cops see us."
::The next morning::
Klaus was laying down in his room when you appeared.
"well hello ever hear of knocking y/n? Come onnn in"
"wait how did i get here?"
"By Walking? Are you doing drugs your starting to sound like me." He chuckles.
"wait no. I'm - im... .. dead This can't be good. "
"your not de-" he stopped himself when he went to put his hand on your shoulder, because his hand just went right through.
"holy shit, how did you die?"
"It was cha cha and hazel. Man their good."
"I thought-"
There was a knock on the door and then it opened "we're having a family meeting, I'm here to get you."
"Diego." You almost cried. You went to touch his cheek but Klaus quickly said.
"that's great! I mean alright yeah, I'm coming."
"where's y/n?" Luther asked.
"she's not coming."
"why not ?" Allison asked.
"we had a fight." No one said anything.
"okay well-" luther started but Pogo interrupted:
"I think you guys may want to see this."
On the tv ::
"no one knows how she got there or what happened- we're asking for anyone with information to come forward, to help solve this case and give this girl justice."
Diego couldn't breath. This was all a living nightmare. He thought he might get sick seeing you laying on the floor with blood next to you, He got chills.
"no." He whispered. You started crying because you just wanted to hug him and tell him you were here. Diego left he couldn't be there any longer, he was suffocating.
He headed towards he police department.
"come on please just tell me where they have her. I just want to say goodbye" he says with glossy eyes to Eudora.
"I don't think that's a good idea. It'll just hurt more."
"please." She gave him a sad face and drove him so he could say goodbye.
"I'm sorry." She said in the car. She was because of course it's sad but also because just the day before she was with him all day.
When Diego walked in he seen the two bullet holes right by your chest and that's what made him lose it. He started crying hard
"I'm s-s-o sorry, y/n if we weren't fighting then y-you would still be here... I'm sorry baby. I l-love you." He gave your forehead a long kiss and took off the necklace you were wearing, putting it on around his neck. You saw it all and you were a crying mess. Diego hasn't stuttered in so long it broke your heart to witness that.
He went back to the his boiler room place and seen your stuff out. Like your face wash some clothes, and makeup it made it seem like you were just there and nothing happened. Diego just cried and cried and cried until he feel asleep hours later.
Meanwhile -
"come on Klaus you have to tell him pleaseeeee."
