The sad realization that all the psychology books I've read so far say to remove all traces of your work/job from your living space to storage out of view but my entire life must be confined to my bedroom at my parents house 🥲

#im not allowed tp leave my gear out #and if i leave it outside my room my fucking mother will move it and lose it forever or throw it out #would she throw out my hard hat? no. would she see my mandatory ice cleats. “borrow” them and never return them? probably #fun fact if i het audited and i dont have every item of a sites pelp #ppe. in my truck. i get in trouble #lile i have 2 big ikea sized bgs of stuff i need to bring with me on each job. and they need to be packed and ready to go #my room is already filled to the brim with stuff. i cant store anything outside if my room unless its going in the family seacan #which is a 27min drive out of town. on a property with a tenant you need to phone and let him know youre showing up.#and you. will not. get into that seacan if we #ve had more than 2 feet of snow.#so you cant access it in the middle of winter pretty uch
