I think the reason Rohini causes envy and insecurity in others because Rohini really knows how to make the sweetest lemonade out of lemons. When they encounter Rohini, they realize they're worse off than Rohini even with everything they have and realize they're not happy. I don't think a lot of Rohini natives see it because of the "bubble," there's a tendency to live blissfully in ignorance or ignore things because they don't concern us.

And I really found that to be the case in other people where they may have more or the same, but in reality, they don't know how to make the best of it or can't. It's usually that they can't.

My Lagnesha is in Rohini and I've experienced a lot of people feeling personally attacked because in their mind, my life should stay traumatic to make them feel better about their own. Or because my life was traumatic, it should stay that way to make them feel better. In person, over the internet (I could write an essay on hate following), the obsession is real no matter how subtle it is. It's always, "Why aren't you doing worse than me?" in the most covert way.

If I'm being honest, I've found that some women are even envious of my romantic and sexual trauma or twist it in their minds so severely that they believe I'm irresistible or special, like I'm an exotic animal. It's a weird manifestation of the other wives being heated over the Moon favoring Rohini. Like, "I wish someone would obsess over me like that," because in their minds, my trauma reads as true love to them and they feel violently insecure.

People think Rohini has it so easy especially when it comes to older women and younger Rohini women. The invalidation and being treated as if you're naive and saying/posting slick shit and general, corny passive aggressive behavior that they think you won't get. Rohini is the baby and people think babies are dumb when in reality, their brains are soaking up EVERYTHING.

Another thing about Rohini is that the association with babies and people feeling like we can start over or we have our whole life ahead of us.

I really think of this Lao Tzu quote, "New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings," and it just makes me think of the transition between labor and a baby taking its first breath. The ecstasy and happiness and potential is what people focus on.

And I definitely obviously identify with the whole "nine lives" thing because it feels like I've lived so many and started over again and again. Literally rebirth. I think people get envious of these hard resets because they feel stagnant in comparison. They don't want our lives to change because theirs isn't either or it takes a turn for the worse.

Other people really have this "the grass is greener on the other side" mentality when it comes to Rohini. Green with envy. And once pruning all the weeds, Rohini definitely draws in people who want to give to Rohini, want to please Rohini and spoil Rohini. It really makes people fume and that's why I'm private, if not misleading.

Rohini is the Moon's favorite after all, but it's not just other people, it seems that Rohini is favored in general which makes other people end up bothered where they shouldn't be in the first place.

"Lucky girl syndrome," I think they call it.

and you would not believe how much math is used within astrology (hint: a lot) let’s be real, way way back in the day they used to drawn charts BY HAND!!! like we have the privilege to enter it into some fancy online calculator… og astrologers were doing the math ‼️‼️and shout out vedic astrology! a lot of my sidereal / vedic knowledge is a bit secondhand, but i would love to expand my knowledge of it and share it with you guys 🩷 (fave thing abt astrology is that you’re constantly learning)

it’s always good to remember that there’s so much to your natal chart, but don’t let it overwhelm you! if it’s easier, go placement by placement and really get a feel on the energies, and then you can dig into your aspects for an extra ✨wow✨

also hahah. i knew it! from what i can tell, this blog attracts a lot of people with a more maternal or mom friend energy (cancer/moon on the 11H; or cancer rising). my blog also attracts a sliver of virgo energy and a lottt of venusians (soo many of u have libra placements; n i’ve been getting a couple tauruses too).
