non chronological thoughts on FATWS episode 4

first of all john needs to sit down

sam, bucky, my dudes, ever heard of communication skills? storming into an area and demanding to find a lady is not going to work

the intro scene with bucky in wakanda, god that hit hard

sam continues to be incredibly kind and empathetic and i am tired of other characters treating that as a flaw

not really sure how to feel about ayo just,,, taking off buckys arm? exp since he didn't know they could do that?

sam's conversation with karli, i just want so much for them to actually be able to have a conversation with out john ruining everything

honestly that whole conversation was an excellent encapsulation about what makes sam such a hero: he genuinely cares

zemo's perspective on the flag smashers is interesting because he's clearly got a heavily biased lens going on, but so do all the rest of the characters and it's interesting to see how everyone percieves them differently

honestly ayo should have kept the shield, it's their vibranium in the first place (also that scene where she grabs the shield is just....amazing, incredible, showstopping)

i would like to stab one (1) john walker

that final shot with the shield covered in an innocent man's blood was incredibly striking also a major "oh fuck" and also so in line with the themes of this show, re: american bullshittery and the harm it causes

We all know the US government is going to try to cover it up/protect john

seeing the shield and a gun carried/used at the same time is jarring every single time

the convo between lemar and john about the serum, he's right that it amplifies what's already in a person which is exactly why john shouldn't have taken it!!

they really should have just given zemo to ayo when she asked the first time

Someone else has pointed this out but i think its worth restating.

If youre on a free site you arent the person buying a product , you are the product. Or put a different way the site is providing you with a service in exchange for your data, so in a sense the site is paying you not the other way around. What this means is that the normal rules regarding transaction dont apply.

Look you cant argue with what should be while defending what is if those two things are counter to eachother. So you cant say the goverment shouldnt meddle in private businesses while defending that it does

Oh yes, go outside and find others who think like me! Oh wait ! I cant because the odds of me finding another snom fan is tiny, of finding another Madoka Fan fan is tiny, etc. And politics is another problem because your odds of meeting another person with your views is just as small if they arent mainstream ones. See thats the problem, unless your interrests and views are as vanilla as yours, the odds of meeting people with your interrests in any given area is actually fairly small, which is why so many people depend on Social Media to meet new people, even people that live in the same country.

Freedom of speech applies to all speech by everyone, including people and groups I disagree with, in any public forum including public areas, and freely accesable internet forums like twitter and tumblr. The minute your in favor of getting rid of that freedom is the minute goverments and corporations will remove all freedom to speak including your own.

Hey Overwatch fans! If you need more AUs and Ideas

Before Overwatch there was G.I. Joe

As a writer of fanfictions and geek I recomend to you to invistigate G.I. joe franchise. It’s literally 1st team of OW. They came out in 80′s. They got tv shows, comics and two movies. Here is the list of shows:

1.G.I. Joe a real american hero (1985)

This show is old and has a lot old clyche about american patriotism. But not all episodes and moments are horrible. Some of them are very funny. If you are also fan of Transformers G1, you’ll meet something familiar. Like hilarious animations, characters and voices (yes. this show had Transformers casting. Like the main villain Cobra Commander is Starscream. Just enjoy it).

2. G.I. Joe a real american hero (1989)

You can watch or not. But this show has a lot cliche of old cartoons of this time. THe only thing I love in this show is Metalhead. I watched this show only bc of thim and my OTP: Snake Eyes and Scarlett.

3. G.I. Joe Extreme.

If you are a child of 90′s or watched 90′s cartoons, you’ll see a lot muscular men and one angry woman (seriously. The old ones had a lot women than you). I dont know If I would recomend it to you. BC there’s nothing expect explotions. Unless you want to make more jokes about Junkrat, who is literally obsessed by them.

4. G.I. Joe Sigma 6 (2005)

Now this is much better. BC this is anime. And there are more ninjas than in the old shows. Also: more robots and sci-fi. If you love anime and robots, you can watch this. But I should warn you: this is still american stuff. Draw by Japanese, but the plot by americans.

5. G.I. Joe Resolute (2009)

This one is very mature, serious and has a beautiful animation (in my point). This show is very short and has 3 common story: ninja duel, saving prisoners and destroying the ultimate bomb.

6. G.I. Joe Renegades (2011)

The last one. Also my fave. And this got story: the group of soldiers was set up by Cobra in murder (doesnt sound familiar?). So they are trying to clear their names, to save ppl and to destroy Cobra (SOUND FAMILIAR?!). This show has ninja battles, mutants, running away from goverment, new friends (who should be new members in 2nd season. BUT THEY CANCELLED!), evil doctor, strong woman, evil guy who pretends he is a good.

Just saying: before Overwatch there was G.I. Joe. I recomend you to watch it. You’ll find a lot references to Overwatch. (Im not kidding).
