thinking abt the nova knicks motion on nba tumblr like "how did that happen" but it's probably a perfect storm of players expressing themselves in ways outside of generic media training (podcasts, social media) + the narrative of college teammates who won the national championship to nba teammates who have found some postseason success

#there were seeds last season i feel #i remember seeing some tweets between brunson and hart that made me raise my eyebrows #the we're trying jennifer podcast once referred to jalen brunson as babygirl and at the time i didn't see the vision #but now i suppose i do #im mostly saying this as an observer (someone who has not written nba fic in like a year)#(looks away) anyways #do feel free to add to this if you guys have any thoughts #i um. do have an opinion that might be controversial but also i am very much not qualified to speak on it (colorism)#nba rpf #sort of #nba fandom
