#wacky watermelons#little tiny bit upset about how the updates on act 2 have been going. but. we're close enough to the release that its fine#but man. the actors are so good#and the lines they changed are very good.#and mostly. what they didn't change#im mostly restraining myself from writing a full analysis of like. all of it#back to the actors though. things like phoenix's soft 'what happened?' or the maya's so so audible sneer with 'thats what i thought.'#she. really does feel 17 in this. her fire feels incredibly like people i know my age#they did her so good with the updated lines. all of them are so real but her especially feels more true#also. edgeworth voice breaks. i genuinely love gavaroc (vc for edgeworth). he's so good at sliding between#edgeworth's bravado and his self-flagellating#if i had nick.le for ever fictional (maybe mlm) guy named nick on my brain right now id have two nickles. dont ask. /lh#god i love these bitches. maybe ill actually write that thing up. theres so much more i want to say#lines said so gently vs lines said with so much intensity#lines (that quote/mirror game lines iirc) that have drastically different meanings depending on how you read them#i realize. that ive just been writing about Alone. thats the context. go listen to it if you like aa#and go watch/listen to act 1. act 2 comes put so so soon for real this time
