ngl its kind of a relief to be a sylvix monoshipper because if i had to not only bear the respective curses of miklan being Blorbo™, being a toxic matthias raoul gautier stan and enjoying a sylvain pairing that has 30 fics on ao3 - i honest to god would've exploded

#slank-screams🗯️#sylvix being the biggest ship in the fanbase is great #because i just need to blink and i see over a thousand fanworks for them #and the various sylvix works have a ton of range within their portrayals - especially in fics #<- sylvain especially gets a lot of love as he is fandom darling so his character is quite well explored #amongst fans and theres so much thats been done with the guy on a creative level #to sum up my feelings for him: your average sylvain likers opinions on the dude #when i was getting into fe3h i was a pretty staunch sylvain stan #a lot of that early sylvain brainrot got transferred onto miklan and matthias #+ with the added factor of hopes completely doing ~nothing~ with the gautier brothers #it made miklan into top blorbo ever because grrrr how dare you get me invested in him #just to kill him off like that with no narrative payoff (compared to rufus)#i actually hated matthias at first because i was generic gautier bro stan #but then i got really invested in his backstory and the sreng paralogue oughghghghg #+ the amazing fanart from moonlitboar made me insane for him #im more outwardly passionate about miklan & matthias since the fanworks and discussions about them is kinda scarce and dry ngl #i still rlly like sylvain btw - its just whatevers been said about the guy has alr been said #so im playing with the ugly barbie dolls that are miklan and matthias gautier
