I just got the go ahead from my advisor to do my thesis on dialect in dungeon meshi, I am so thrilled
#im looking at the use of real world dialects in fantasy settings#so im gonna look at other things like lotr and stuff#but im gonna use the dunmeshi dub as my case study#im so excited she's letting me do this#bc i find it so fascinating!! the way real world biases and ideologies bleed into fantasy worlds!!!!#ah!!!!!!!!!!!
