HIIIIII HELLO 2 questions that r wholly unrelated to each other . i hope the first q isn't too weird
I've been working out again (!!!!) but i realized I don't really have a set routine and don't really know how to get serious about working out (ie how much protein and whatnot you need). how did you figure out the best routine? is it just trial and error? would u recommend anything personally (like eating certain things)? rn im doing cardio (treadmill and bike) and working on chest/biceps/back :]
do u have superbat angst fic recs .. bc im gonna be sooooo honest i need to see those 2 put in Situations more often
Not weird at all! Again I'll say I'm not an expert and to always talk to your doctor about changing exercise and diet, but here's my two cents:
The best routine is the one you're able to stick to. When I first started out, I could only really manage going once a week. Then that started getting easier and it changed to 2x a week, then once every other day, and then today where I try to get some sort of exercise or movement every day. But that took a while to get used to -- like literal years! I would recommend making sure your exercise goals don't conflict with your diet goals. If you're eating smaller portions to lose weight, for example, you might not be able to sustain the level of activity you're hoping to complete. Eat high protein, don't cut out any major food groups (even if tiktok tells you to) and drink lots of water. If you want extra brownie points, add in some fermented foods! I love my kombucha and kimchi.
Porridge. Truly the superbat angst to end all superbat angst. Someone said it should be required reading on my other post and I almost want to agree. TW for....pretty much everything, since the fic itself will not warn you (and that's absolutely okay).
