NOW THIS IS WHERE I’M SCRATCHING MY DAMN HEAD. BECAUSE WHAT ARE MY CALLUM HCS… i think, if you’ll let me just kinda spitball off of nothing, callum is really into jazz. like it’s something he got into when it was in its hayday and he continues to be an enjoyer of it. used to dance with milt and marla around the office with some upbeat jazz playing. nowadays jazz is the only thing you’ll hear in his room, other than the sounds of him tuning his busted radio (they have a separate, functioning radio just out of sight playing jazz). it’s something mingus requested in the hopes it’d make him remember Something, but post ch3 it just becomes something nice to hear when she’s visiting. i think at times you can see him nod his head along to the beat, in a slow and stilted way. maybe even twitches his finger to the melody. it’s something that just feels natural to him—the ebb and flow of jazz is similar to how he thinks. sporadic and jumping at every opportunity. and i think a small part of him remembers that vigor. remembers his own jazz

i mean what can be said about callum crown. dude fucking IS the narrative of dialtown. he’s baked into every part and for good reason!!!!!! the first time i watched the turnip lore i was like. genuinely flabbergasted because DAMN…REALLY? fall 2019 anime first thoughts

the new season is finally all here! i’m pretty positive about some of these new shows, so i’m very much looking forward to these next months’ releases~

sao: alicization: war of underworld: is it just me who didn’t know this or what- alicization arc takes place immediately after the first season apparently. so where are frickin ggo and etc fitting into this timeline? thanks reki. so far it’s pretty neutral, like this season isn’t blowing my mind or anything. but it’s not unwatchable. this arc might be the second suckiest after all the fairy arcs tbh. i just want smth more like ordinal scale or ggo. bc those were actually p good.

bnha 4: for some reason didn’t see a lot of hype around this new season? like was it not advertised a lot? do people not know it’s airing? idk. bnha is p okay for me, i like the animation and of course todoroki, but i’m no super fan oof and honestly i was more excited for the new releases of kimetsu no yaiba than this lol…

kono yuusha ga ore tueee kuse ni shinchou sugiru: ok honest to god i didn’t have crazy good expectations for tis but it left me surprised. it’s got strong ass konosuba vibes but in a good way, unlike *cough* world’s strongest fkn alchemist thing of last season***** and it’s pretty funny too

shokugeki no soma 4: yass! i finally caught up on s3 recently so yay i fkn love this. i love cooking shows for some weird reason and it’s just so pleasing to see all the creativity and specialized knowledge that goes into this. honestly the whole Central thing rly caught me off guard and im just super excited for this!

assassin’s pride: i thought this would be some dumb romance thing tbh. it is not! the animation is awesome and the world aesthetic is EPIC STYYLEE man like your city is a glass frickin chandelier? i nuttttt. i like the characters like kufa (his whole name is dumbass tho but he hottt) and the blue-haired cousin girl- ellie? maybe? i thought melida would be annoying but she’s alright. a little too flat and 12-y/o looking for me but whatevs. another thing to add on, char designs are rly nice, and the magic system so far is givin me the epic vibes man it’s just super cool and intriguing for some reason don’t judge.

choujin koukousei-tachi wa isekai demo yoyuu de ikiniku you desu: ok first of all i hate this title. second of all, better than i thought. nice animation/ opening theme/ char designs. tbh the whole ‘super genius’ thing is kinda dumb like the CHILD is the PRIME MINISTER and another CHILD kills people in a WAR with a SWORD and anOther CHILD controls half the stocks or smth. stfu ok. i dooo like mr stocks market tho and ninja girl, they cute asf and doctor lady is so pretty. but like. eh. magician boy is also useless and annoying like if ya gonna be a magician type character in a MAGICAL world at least try to explain how his tricks work otherwise he is just useless and a faker. ya i don’t like him. and also it just kinda skips around showing their geniousness at work like how the science girl just makes hi-tech stuff and akatsuki can use his magic tricks when he obvs shouldn’t have any of his magic equip stuff like ughh it would be so much better if it didn’t gloss this over and i’d have more appreciation for the characters’ intelligence too. but oh well.

Okay so wow this episode was really good?! Is that a surprise? Lmao no. I honestly can't wait for parabatai lost, because according to the cast that is one of the best episode's, and if the first 2 were amazing, the 3rd is just gonna kill us all. Im really pissed about Gretel dying tho, that wasn't fair. She was beautiful, and I wanted to learn more about her. The Simon Magnus Brotp gave me life, and Magnus stealing his shit back from Camille was just iconic. I love how extra he is aha (I also love that they are giving alec and magnus storylines outside of their relationship! ) Izzy and Alec being badass siblings was so great, and Izzy taking down that massive dickhead fighter dude was such a positive and amazing way to show how powerful us women can be. Im still annoyed with jocelyn Idk why, everything she does just pisses me off. I wanted to grab Luke and take him away from her. Also can we all agree Luke needs a vacation, he has to deal with so much shit! He has to deal with annoying shadowhunters, his pack being jerks, police business, keeping Simon safe, being a dad to clary, and im sure a ton more shit throughout the season. Papa wolf needs private island and some chill time. Im starting to warm up to clary more this season, I think last season I was so convinced she was going to be just like book clary that I looked for reasons to dislike her, but now i can see she is different and definitely needs some love because she kinda broke my heart in this episode. Also dots back? Yass I love her And lastly JACE OMG I hated him in season 1, okay I'll be the first asshole to admit that, but fuck this season has changed my mind so much?! Like Idk what it is, but his sad puppy eyes and more mature attitude just does it for me. Im intrigued to see where his storyline goes, so far it looks sad and exciting, I can not wait!
