i know we talk about cultural christianity a lot and i’ve said this before but i’m so fucking tired of not being able to celebrate my holidays because “secular” schools run off christian calendars
#im just. kinda upset. i really love chanukah and ive been so excited and then i realised finals are entirely over chanukah and i’ll have to#study and i can’t have candles in my dorm so i can’t even light the menorah#and i try to explain it to people and they sympathise but they don’t get it because i love my friends so so much but they’ve never not been#able to celebrate their holidays like i can’t. they’ve never had school during their holidays or had exams during them or any of that#jumblr#cultural christianity
