I AGREE SO HARD WITH THE WORD FAT LIKE. I get the word 'fat' has been used to insult people for decades but? it's still not an inherently offensive word??? So many people(including some fat people) are so scared to use the word fat to describe someone and it's so sad how it feels like we're walking on eggshells or basically babying people.

"oh nooo ur not fat!! you're just.... a little thicker that's all!!" Bro stop. just call me fat. Do it. I am fat. I know I'm fat. I've made peace with that fact a long time ago. stop trying to sugarcoat things for no reason I know you're just trying to be sensitive or whatever but you're not sparing anyone's feelings here in fact it sounds like ur belittling me and overall being condescending. Fat is not an insult. It should never be an insult. It's the way I describe my body type, not in a derogatory way, but in a factual way. And I am tired of being chastised for doing so.

i just saw someone describe a disabled person as "someone with beautiful abilities" i cannot do this anymore

#anyway we should bring back calling fat people fat #the word is so stigmatized people avoid it like the goddamn plague unless they're using it to insult people #and im not saying you can't use other words to substitute fat if ur truly uncomfortable using that word to describe fat people #im just saying we need to destigmatize the word fat #and normalize using it casually to describe someone without worrying about getting burned at the stake for it
