Working in an agricultural school is strange because someone will tell you some of the most disturbing farming stories you've ever heard and then give you a big basket of fruit and eggs for free
#not complaining tho#my freezer is full of tasty berries now#lol idk if its cause im from ontario or if people think i look wide eyed and innocent#but they love telling me gross farming stories#and then they look surprised when i dont judge them or run screaming#ya i grew up in the city#but i lived with my grandma who was a butcher and my mom grew up in their butcher shop#my aunt and cousins farm cattle and i would stay there for weeks in the summer as a kid#i know how messy farming is#im in crop science instead of animal science because i dont want to deal with the messiness personally#but im not shocked that easily lol#i know what you can find in hay bales#tophat speaks#adventures in getting a phd
