                    ❛  no, i DON’T. i’m not claiming to. but —-  ❜    she lets out an exasperated huff, tucking a loose strand of hair back behind her ear. she doesn’t understand lena. she doesn’t know how to interact with her. alex can already tell that they’re such fundamentally different people, but she wants to believe that it’s not that cut and dry, that there’s something in this girl, whoever she is, that’s familiar to alex.

                    she kind of reminds her of clarissa, in the most base sense. there’s the ANGER. lots of that. so much that it’s kind of hard to tell what else is there. she can’t blame her for it – she doesn’t know what caused it, but she’s wise enough to know that it was something that MATTERED. maybe if she knew, lena would be easier to understand. but then, she doubts lena even wants to be understood.
