Deans pov

I was waiting for her to ask me to stay, she opened her mouth like she was going to but she never did. I wanted her to want me to stay, but obviously she didnt. I figured we had made some kind of headway with our talk earlier but like she said, she still doesnt trust me.

When i climbed into baby i thought about sitting there and eating my burger but the next thing i knew i was driving down the road. I had no idea where i was going but i was going nontheless. I kept driving until i got out of town, i pulled off at a truck stop and found a empty spot to park.

I turned the engine off, slamming my fist against the wheel over and over. My cheeks were wet with tears that had threatend to fall earlier, "son of a bitch!" I yelled as i opened the door climbing out of baby. I paced back and forth then finally sat on the hood. My head fell into my hands and i just let go. I sobbed, feeling my heart breaking all over again. My soul ached for (y/n), she said we would never have what we had before. I cant live without her, i dont want to live without her.

How am i going to make her see the truth? How am i going to show her how much i love her? My phone ringing snapped me out of my breakdown, i looked down at the number and was surprised to find it was (y/n) calling.

"(Y/n)?"

"Yeah, um i was just uh worried about you." She stutterted trying to get the words out.

I couldnt help but smile, "im okay."

She was silent for a few seconds, "you sure? You sound weird, like youve been crying or something."

I sighed and ran my hamd over my face, i didnt want her to know about my breakdown over her. She already made her mind up and i didnt want her pity. "Im good, was you needing something?"

She cleared her throat, "right, um yeah i just was gonna ask you to come back."

"Really?" I couldnt help the excitement in my voice.

"Yeah, we need you for some research." Disappointment washed over me, of course she didnt want me to come back because she needed me or missed me. She wanted me to come back to help them on the case. I climbed back in baby and started her up.

"Yeah ill be there soon." I didnt give her a chance to answer, i pushed the end call button and headed back in the direction of her house.

When i walked in the front door (y/n) was sitting on the couch with a stack of books on the coffee table, one in her lap and several open and laying on the couch. I smiled and just watched her for a moment. The way she tapped her pen on her full lips while she was reading. The way when she writes something down she bites her lower lip.

I cleared my throat which made her jump. "Jesus dean, you scared the hell out of me." She placed her hand over her heart and i couldnt help but smile.

"Wheres sammy?" I look around to gind hes nowhere in sight.

She rolls her eyes, "oh him, he said he needed it quiet to research so hes in the study down the hall."

I laugh as i sit down in the recliner, "whatd you do to the poor boy?"

"Nothing!" She scoffs, " he says i was chewing to loud."

"What was you chewing?"

She holds up a bag of bbq pork skins. "Theres no quiet way to eat these things. So i told him its my house and i can eat them if i want. Thats when he went to the study."

I laughed out loud wishing i couldve seen that. Surprisingly she laughed with me. She held the bag out to me offering me one. I took one and crunched it loudly, "youre right,"i say around the pork skin "theres no quiet way to eat these." She giggled and my god how it sent a electric shock straight into my groin.

I cleared my throat and adjusted myself, thankfully she didnt notice. "You making any headway on the case."

She sighed and put her pen in her hair where she had it up in a bun and shook her head. "Unfortunately no. Theres nothing about monsters working together because they never have. I just cant wrap my head around all of this."

I nodded and grabbed a book off the coffee table and opened it. "Im the best at researching. Ill find something." I chuckle as she rolls her eyes. She throws a paper wad at me and smiled.

"Whatever, you cant sit still for more than 30 minutes." She says as she pulls the pen back out of her hair. She jumps as i throw the paper wad back at her and it hits her right in the middle of her forehead.

"Grow up dean." She says throwing it back at me.

"You started it." I say throwing it back at her. She sticks her tongue out at me and i chuckle and flip her the finger.

She rolls her eyes as she focuses back o her book, "in your dreams winchester."

Oh if she only knew.

I sit still for more than thirty minutes, but i cant help the urge to do something other than reading. I take a piece of paper from the notepad i had been writing notes down in, bit off a piece and used the straw that was in my glass and blew. The spitwad hit (y/n) on the cheek.

She flinched and rubbed it off her face, "really dean, a spitwad?"

I pretended like i didnt hear what she was saying, i knew that annoyed her. "Thats disgusting!" She threw it back at me but it landed on my boot.

"Your aim sucks." I say as i pick it off my boot and throw it in the trash basket.

"Say that again when i have a gun in my hand." She smiles over her book at me.

"Keep looking at me like that and ill give you a reason to shoot me." I grin and wink at her.

She closes her book and leans forward, "is that so mr winchester?"

I close mine and lean forward, "you have no idea, because if you did. Id be shot already." She bites her lip and she actually blushes. I know shes thinking about all the times i made her scream my name. When she would shake uncontrolably and gush around my cock.

I opened my mouth to say something else but sam chose that moment to walk in. "Guys, all the words are blurring together. I need a break."

(Y/n) sat back smoothing out invisible wrinkles on her shirt, i chuckled to myself as i sat back. "Lets go out, get some drinks and unwind." I suggest sam nodded but i didnt expect (y/n) to agree.

"Ill go get ready." She jumped up which surprised me and sam both, we shrugged at each other but didnt question it.

"I guess we're all going out." I smile at sam.
