im rewriting this post and summarizing it in bullet points b/c my computer crashed and deleted it

basically an update on my theory that we’re getting a “triandra and more” banner for november for our new heroes (my best guess is echoes more on that later)

when i first made this theory it was off the assumption that we were gonna get 2 sets of new heroes but then the calendar came out and revealed, for the first time ever that we were gonna get a new special heroes instead

so i kinda threw my theory away but seeing other things has made me bring it back with different/sorta the same evidence

things that i feel prove my theory that haven’t changed: the fact that the green pool for the legendary/mythic banners was switched around a lot between the hel & corrin banner (you can look here and here to get a visual but im gonna run down what i found interesting)

after the hel banner she was supposed to return in october with edelgard & thasir was gonna return in dec (note that all 3 had been in the same pool on her banner)

then after the corrin banner it was switched around so that hel would instead return in nov and thasir and edel were once again sharing green in oct

also want to note that lyn went from returning in nov to being bumped to jan -- lyn is known for being a pretty bad legendary so having hel take her spot makes nov’s green pool much more compelling to pull on

back to the “1 set of new heroes and a special heroes” point -- see i thought this made it harder to mean my theory was right but instead i feel like it proves it more

ok so for the fairies banners this is how we’ve gotten them:

peony and more was with thracia units and featured at the beginning of book 4 (literally was called book 4 begins iirc)

miri’s banner was with awakening and was called “book 4 midpoint”

thracia and awakening have pretty big gaps when it comes to popularity but both fall under the “not as many popular units left to put on as an anchor for the banner” which is probably why they were chosen to be the spots for the faeries

which brings me to echoes - there is a small pool to choose from, most of them are guys & theres already been a case of them putting in someone who could be said was filling in to entice ppl to pull (or make them more interested?) with catria on zofia’s call (im not saying she “stole” someone’s spot btw) -- which makes them getting the “triandra and more” treatment more plausible

ok tangent over “what does this mean in regards to new special heroes instead of new heroes”

if we had gotten 2 new heroes and one banner got the triandra treatment i feel like it would’ve caused outrage

some complaints i could see are: the triandra banner is better to spark on b/c mythic unit, triandra took the spot of someone else (give them the emmeryn treatment), this game got a whole banner dedicated to them and the other game’s units weren’t popular enough to have a banner for themselves

by instead of having specials instead we’re probably gonna get a couple alts and maybe another character stuck in seasonal alt hell & a new duo (makes it pretty nice to summon on right before the new banner with a possible sparkable mythic hmm nice bait)

my basic rundown on how the mythic banner next month is gonna go is:

colorless mythic (leif returns very early and shares with our newest legendary as of right now corrin

and triandra will fill in the 2nd green slot with hel and brave edel will join them - thus making colorless and green very nice pools

also i know i keep saying echoes for this but it could very possibly be bb or ss as well its just that echoes is basically next up for a banner in terms of how long its been 

also also getting 3h instead kinda also lends crendence to this imo - they’re saving her for next month to celebrate the end of book 4 (if we get 13 chapters like we have been but again, things can change)
