Two people have come up to me and personally thanked me for wearing my Kieffyeh publically and supporting Palestine. One of them is an older coworker whose relatives escaped during the Nakba. It shows that even small acts can show the people around you that they're not alone and there's people on their side. Palestinians aren't just a concept, they aren't some far away people, they are real human beings with lives and families and many of them are closer than you may think.
