Series Masterlist

Synopsis: After Jamie got drafted to the Flyers you were both missing the other more than ever. You would have left with him if it weren't for your classes. However, after a late night phone call with Jamie, you drop everything and go to him without a second thought.

Jamie had been gone for nearly three weeks now. You couldn't help but feel lonely as you sat in the once shared apartment.

It was nearing 9 in California, so you knew calling Jamie was not an option. It was almost midnight on the east coast.

You sat on the couch watching one of your favorite movies to hopefully distract yourself.

About thirty minutes later a familiar ringtone buzzed from you phone. you were quick to pick it up answering the call.

"Jamie? everything okay?" you asked into the phone.

"Not really," He said trailing off.

"Baby, what's wrong?" You asked now sitting up.

"I just miss you so much, I can't sleep at all," He said softly.

"I know baby, I miss you too," You spoke truthfully, "I wish I could be there."

"I do too," He said.

"Its late baby, go to bed, you have a big game tomorrow against the red wings."

"Alright, I love you," Jamie said smiling into the phone.

"I love you too."

"I'm missing half of me when we're apart"

After the call ended you couldn't help but think about going to Jamie. At around 11 you decided you couldn't just sit here.

You practically sprinted to your room. Grabbing your laptop and emailing your academic advisor, letting them know you would be needing to transfer schools and would like to finish this semester online.

Once your emails were sent you booked a flight to Phili.

You packed up as much as you could in two suit cases and texted Trevor to come over.

As you sat in the living room bags packed you felt more relaxed then you ever have before.

You knew you would be coming back during the summer to finish your moving but for now these two suitcases would be more than enough.

You heard a knock at the door and quickly got up to answer it. As you pulled the door open you saw a half awake Trevor standing there.

"y/n it's midnight, what was so important I had to come over?" He said rubbing at his eyes.

"I need a ride to the airport, and here is the keys your gonna have to check in here once a week til im back to move everything," You spoke quickly.

"Wait what where are you even going?" Trevor said taking the key from you.

"Im moving to Phili."

Trevor couldn't help but smile. He was happy his best friend had someone like you in his life.

"Let's go then," Trevor spoke picking up one of your bags and following you out to his car.

You landed in Phili calling an uber to take you to Jamie's apartment. You texted his neighbor carter letting him know you would be at the stadium within the hour.

Carter, Jamies Goalie and Neighbor had agreed to leave a key to his place outside the door so you could leave your stuff there to make it to the game on time. He also agreed to get you a media pass so you would be able to surprise Jamie.

After you dropped your stuff off you headed straight to the Arena. You got in through the back and quickly made your way to your seat. You opted for a pretty bad seat but you didn't want Jamie to see you.

The Flyers had won the game against the wings and you were more than ready to run down and see your boyfriend.

You quickly made your way to the ice, walking to the locker rooms. You stood outside of the locker room.

Many teammates walked by giving you an odd look as they had no idea who you were.

Carter came out and sent a smile your way, as you handed him the key to his apartment," Thank you so much for helping me."

"I did this for the kid but, your welcome," He said with a laugh," I'll see you both later."

You stood a little longer, Jamie was the last one out.

He walked out of the locker room, with wet hair and you swear he's never looked so good. His eyes were stuck on his phone.

You picked up your phone calling him. He answered.

"Look up, idiot," You said before hanging up.

Jamies eyes met yours, you both felt butterflies as the world around you froze. You practically ran to Jamie engulfing him in a much needed hug.

"I can feel your heart inside of mine"

"Is this real? how are you here?" He said pulling away to look at you.

"I'm moving here," You smiled leaning up to kiss him.

"baby, you have school," He said, once he pulled away hesitantly.

"I'm transferring, I couldn't be away from you any more," You spoke softly," I already talked to my advisor, Trev's gonna keep an eye on my place til we can move the rest, and for now my suitcases are at Carters."

"I love you so much," Jamie said as he awed at not only your physical beauty but how perfect you were for him. He truly thought that he wouldn't see you for months but now here you are in his arms, and he is never letting you go again.

ok SO here is the official elysian masterlist !! i posted it ages ago but i clearly forgot to add it to my main masterlist (like the dumbass i am), but moving on 🏃‍♀️ it's basically a series / request event thingy that i posted bc of my most recent milestone !!! which is kinda crazy bc i never expected to have this many followers like EVER . . . im super grateful for yall 🥺💕

BUT i digress. so i've posted brainrots which essentially make up the whole 'plot' of elysian (which i will not be linking here bc spoilers LMAO) but tldr; yn is a normal person who somehow loses both their job & home in one day, then SURPRISE they meet aether (childhood best friend w whom they kinda lost contact) at a coffee shop, aether & yn talk for a bit and aether finds out what happened and offers yn both a job & a new home ! *cue the happy music* HOWEVER there are obviously conditions and whatever, one of which is that yn is NOT ever allowed to go into the office behind the main shop where they'll be working (it's a flower shop btw !!) yn is like 'damn im not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth' and moves in. then theyre like 'oh man. why does aether have so many pretty boys working for him???????? and are the ppl this side of town just generally hotter bc i swear my customers are so fine-' then yn finds out their (aether & co's) secret. which is kinda wattpad-ish if im being honest but its okay im a sucker for overused cliches LMSKDJS

and THEN it is all up to my beloved followers to send in requests abt anything they'd like to see set within this universe !! lowk i'll write some on my own even if it isnt requested bc istg i have so many ideas but like AAA im so excited to see what everyone will think 😭 and if nobody reqs it just means more freedom and less work for me 🤭😋 (copium) HAHAHA ok sorry does this make sense at all?????? if not im rlly sorry babe i just started talking and didnt stop WAKJDSKJD but yes i am SO hyped for this and i will most probably drop ch1 tonight if i can get my act tgt and finish it LOL but pls lmk what u think!!!!!! i posted it on impulse so i genuinely don't know if this is the type of thing anyone would enjoy JKSDKS

Hi !! I don’t know how many of these do you answer but I’m really curious about your writing process, specially for the San fic with the really difficult name (I do not want to embarrass myself trying to spell it 💀)

Anyway, as I was looking through the masterlist I noticed that even the chapters you still haven’t posted have some word count for them. Like do you have a brainstorm of what is gonna happen in the chapter and all that. Im mostly just curious about the writing process.

Also I can’t wait till you update because I’m am HOOKED. This series be making me feel butterflies 🤭

Hello, lovely! I have answered similar questions here and here. For a shorter answer, I don't really have a writing process; at least I don't think I do. Sphall is the first story I've written multiple parts simultaneously (excluding the first 2 or 3 parts). One day in the shower, I had so many ideas for the story that I had to carefully type them on my phone. I organized them into chapters with a wedding-related event and a San interaction (if the event did have much interaction). Every once in a while I'd have another idea and try to fit it into what I already have.

My ideas are very inspiration-based; the 2nd linked ask goes into more detail about that. I like observing people and their different relationships. I can turn on a show/movie or youtube video of my favorite gamers while I'm working on my sewing stuff and just listen to the dialogue between characters or friends. I know "actions speak louder than words," but language is my love language, ya know? And nothing is more telling of a person's character than how they talk to others. A majority of the writing I have done for the unfinished chapters is dialogue. Personally, having the dialogue written first helps me navigate actions and thoughts to get from scene to scene. Well, I'll be damned, maybe I do have a writing process after all😂

Hanahaki AU/ Fantasy AU Katsuki Bakugou x Reader {Deku x reader if u squint} (this is me addressing some of my issues w him and working through them) 

AhHHHH !! okay so thanks to @phantomhive-shadow for reading the first chapter for me and giving me some advice!! (it’ll all be addressed in the future chapters ^^ !!) now that im done w this first part im gonna fix up my blog to be pretty again UwU

You have always been a firm believer in the multiverse theory, the theory that in your case may mean universes that my just include everyone being quirkless, or where beings like dragons and fairies were figments of the imagination, or even one where the hanahaki disease wasn't killing the obnoxious mountain clan leader, the clan leader that was blaming you for his current predicament. Unfortunately, that's not your universe.

Katsuki mother-fucking Bakugou was the bain of your existence, ever since he came crashing into your engagement party throwing up blood and rose petals, dressed in a fashion that was only suitable in the mountains, things have been so much more complex. He came in and told you not to marry that "useless wimp" that your father set you up with and to go with him. And now here you are, kneeling before your father, Bakugou next to you, getting yelled at because of that ass!

"Bakugo, you had no business at a Royal Affair. Especial in such a state. Explain yourself, and do keep in mind that if your explanation is not up to par- I will have your head on a pike." Your father was merciless to all. His voice echoed through the hall, vibrating in your ears, as he glowered at the two of you. You turned your eyes to Bakugou wearily, convinced that this will be the last time you see him alive. The mountain village better be infected and on the verge of war for Bakugou to show up unannounced, now that you think about it, his rudeness will not be helping his plight in the slightest. 

Bakugou lets out a hiss and responds slowly through gritted teeth, "Sir. I had no choice-" you couldn't help but scoff, that was a very conscious choice that he made, he could have turned back at anytime he liked during the two day journey from the village he oversaw. 

"Silence." Your father was growing evermore irate with the two of you.

"Yes sir." You said looking down at the beads sewn intricately into your dress that you were supposed to be wearing at your engagement, but here you are.

"Bakugou, you may continue." Your father bellowed.

"Well, sir," Bakugou shot you a glare, then continued. "Y/N gave me that fucking flower disease and I can't get rid of it. I've tried removing it, and it won't budge, I've tried killing it, and it grows back, I've tried ignoring it, but there is too much pain. I need you to help me, I I don’t want to die." He was shouting at this point but you didn’t care. Your face burns,  you can feel your pulse in your lips, and tears in your eyes. 

"Bullshit Bakugou, I didn't give you anything. Fuck. Off." The audacity of him to accuse you of something like that is unreal.

"It started when we went on that Quest dumbass, the one for that dragon egg." His red eyes burning into the side of my head. At this point, the king was thoroughly pissed off, but it was hard to care anymore. You couldn’t quite tell what direction Bakugou was going for, all you could tell was that you didn’t like it. 

“Why don’t you just go to that oracle that you went to last time? The one from the dragon egg quest?” Your father was shooting questions at him, just as skeptical as you were. You feel a wave of panic and chuckle creep up your throat. Bakugou burned that bridge right after he crossed it. Bakugou was mumbling curse words, which was just enough to convey the message.

“Well,” the king shifted in his throne. ”Why don’t you go find someone else to fix it?”

“There’s only one oracle.”  You saw your father’s eyebrow quirk at this. You knew he had something to say at this.

“Oh really? What makes you say that?  If you think that just because she’s the only known one in the kingdom that she’s the only one then maybe you really deserve to die.” Damn. Bakugou’s eyes widened considerably. I don’t think he expected that. 

“Well how am I supposed to get to these other oracles? I can’t go alone.” Bakugou was as close to groveling as you’ve ever seen, and honestly? It was absolutely pathetic, but it’s hard to not pity him.

“I don’t care, it’s none of my concern. You may leave, and be glad that Im letting you do that much.” Your jaw nearly dropped off your face. Bakugou may have been a prick, but that wasn’t a death warrant. And before you could think a simple sentence that would change your life, and maybe even the course of history left your lips. 

“I’ll escort Bakugou back to the mountains, father.”

Hi, I don't wanna bother you but I need help and you write really well. Do you have any tips for actually finishing your stories. Like I'll start a story and maybe write half a chapter and never finish it. I wanna start posting stuff but I don't feel like I'll be good enough. Also I don't feel like my writing is engaging enough. If you have advice I would really appreciate it. 💕

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this is actually hard for me to answer bc i have the SAME problem???

i guess one way that i try and like go about this is had a word count goal? like a majority of my chapters have between 2.5k and 3k words (of course, there are exceptions) and that kind of helps me with limiting or even filling in information so that i can have a decent ending

As for like actual plot line and chapter conclusions, i guess i this is what i try and go for:

i know some people do the whole cliffhanger thing where they will end a chapter somewhere that makes the reader want to click next, and im all down for it like that always kills me i love it so much but i actually only did it for one fic, since im not really that great at it.

other writers (myself included) like to write chapters more as television episodes?? so there is an issue or problem introduced at the beginning of the chapter, and those chapters will end with the problem being resolved. the problem with this though, is that its hard to follow through with one giant major plot. television shows who usually do this are like sitcoms or comedy shows, who usually have no major plot line that needs a resolution but rather each episode has its own plot and story. this is why with shows like “Big Bang Theory” or “Friends”, you dont need to watch from the very beginning to understand completely. while shows that end on cliffhangers are things like crime shows or mystery shows that almost each season has one giant issue or problem to solve, that’s why for shows like “The Last Ship” or “Agents of SHIELD”, you do sorta need to start from episode one to really understand whats going on. so depending on what your story is, you can really determine how to end individual chapters.

(however, as you may notice there are sitcoms that last years and have tons of seasons, so what works for television seems to abide by different rules when it comes to written works, strangely)

my fic “Normal” usually ends by solving the initial problem addressed in the beginning of the chapter, while “I Love to Hate You” is more of a cliffhanger type of story, this is because “Normal” is a lot more lighthearted in nature especially since it follows pretty closely to the plot line of Spider-man: Homecoming, while ILTHY is more serious and is trying to solve a mystery, so most chapters will end in a cliff hanger to try and get readers to continue reading until the mystery is solved. (not all chapters, but as it picks up yes)

im gonna try and write out a really bad example im sorry im like garbage

you probably notice that a lot of fics that are more fluff and lighthearted tend to not be as long as fics that are angsty or have an underlining issue within the story, and thats kind of because its hard to really keep a fic going if there is no major plot to write for, thats why one shots usually tend to be fluff and series works tend to be angst.

so like lets say we got a fic written purely fluffly and written for warming hearts and making smiles, if the plot line is about a normal girl finding out who spiderman really is, then almost each chapter will be a sort of its own stand alone one-shot, like close calls with peters identity or maybe even a cute little realization that the girl actually likes spiderman. so each ending will resolve whatever was in the beginning. and when you put it all together, the climax is usually spiderman’s identity being revealed, feelings addressed earlier will sort of fly back into your chest and you kind of get this “aw” moment, because you already knew what was coming and you already knew that the girl and peter were going to end up together. and the chapters following are usually super fluffy little extras that are there to kind of smooth out the ending.

yet fics that are addressing a more serious issue, like lets say we got a fellow avenger being targeted by some other organization, and usually each chapter will end by revealing one tiny piece of information before finally ending. all these pieces will eventually link together, revealing the climax in a way that makes you think “oh snap this was addressed in like chapter 3 and that thing was mentioned in chapter 12 and oh man whats happening″ like all the chapters usually link together in one way or another to “reveal” something. and the ending reaction usually goes along with shock or relief, rather than an all knowing “aw”

SO to end each chapter, really all depends on the kind of story you want. if you want something fluffy, then you can do little stories that build upon each other to have a cute resolution.

or if you want something serious then each chapter usually should have a piece of the puzzle hidden within, it might not be obvious to the reader at first, but in order to understand the ending then each chapter must be read and give a little piece of the mystery away.

im sorry if this is just hella long and absolute garbage and doesnt make sense at all but like this is kind of how i see it??? i hope this helps and i know i rambled for the most part but please let me know if you need clarity???
