hi grey!! sending this as an ask so it's easier for people scrolling thru your blog to see and b/c i noticed you got the question
for people converting blushes into skin details using the method detailed in the post, MAKE SURE YOU GO INTO WAREHOUSE AND MAKE THE COMPOSITION METHOD 0!!!! if you don't, it might look gray/muddy since anything but composition method 3 makes it so skin details blend into the selected skin tone and make it look weird if it's supposed to be a color detail! also the method works as an override, CAS standalone, or additional swatch! 💗
PSA FOR EVERYONE!! thank you so much lucia i did not know this but absolutely that's a necessary add
also just a quick sidenote on this same topic if anyone's interested: if you'd rather keep the blush as makeup for infants, you can do that by opening the blush in sims 4 studio, clicking "warehouse", clicking on the CAS parts that will show up on the left side of the screen, and then on the left side of the screen, scrolling down to the section that says "Age gender". underneath male & female there's a row that says "value," and next to that you can paste in 000030FE. if you do that for every CAS part that's listed on the left, then hit save, it will enable the makeup for infants, even though they don't have makeup enabled by default :)
