To be clear this is in no way a "haha look at this epic #cakefail #nailed it" post. This is a "look at the act of love. Know this was before Google, and this lady, my mother, who knew I loved Scooby-Doo before I could speak, made the effort to make a cake and, though not an artist by trade, paint on it with frosting she may have made herself a dog for which the only reference she may have had was memory or a vhs case. This was September 3rd 2001. She knew of the love I had for this dog, if not the extent to which that love would become and she made sure I would have a memory of that love through an act of her love" kind of post.
