having several 'what if younger Gunter shows up to askr' brain worms all at once
#the prevailing one being 'leigh: i can't be a homewrecker 🙈🙈'#imagine if a mid 30s gunter whose still in the process of courting his wife shows up to askr#and he asks the summoner for proposal advice cuz he's uncertain if lorah will say yes *dies*#leigh: don'tsaywhatyoudwanttohear dontsaywhatyoudwanttohear#im also realizing how delicate of a balance hangs with these younger units#like if they are too AWARE of certain ongoings it could just be totally soul destroying#if this younger gunter were to notice that another great knight of nohr was walking around (the armour is pretty distinctive) he'd def#want to talk to them. meanwhile i think og gunter would do his damndest to avoid being seen by his younger self?#i know facial scars are not uncommon but one so prominent like his is a sign SOMETHING happened. and he's good at piecing things together#and then you definitely can't let him see garon because that is just a WHOLE other can of worms that would cause disaster#all this to say i think realistically an early fortress days gunter works better for feh. less hurdles to jump over#but that won't stop me from thinking about the other options
