seeing all thes vtuber news blowup really highlights that corporate pan handling under the guise of "We're totally ethical idols" isnt very sustainable

#its crazy how general culture saw idols as a negative thing and continue to do so while vtubers get a free pass #bc if you give them 100 bucks they'll say ur name #im all for virtual personas but the level of parasocial that vtubers breed is nuts #ive seen more personal details leaked by crazy fans then i know about close friends
