Lesbian is absolutely a wlw space.

Pansexuality is literally right there, why change the definition of a long standing label?

initially wasn't going to answer this but im honestly confused by this ask soooo let's do this:

not super sure why i even got this ask? like nothing I've posted super recently was even about anything to do with lesbianism being more than just wlw but whatever

pansexuality means being attracted to all genders/people regardless of gender. personally, this doesn't describe my experience as a queer person, so I don't use it to describe myself. pretty strange to tell someone else how to identify, but I digress.

however, I deeply encourage you to do some research on lesbian history. lesbianism has ALWAYS included people of a variety of genders. being nonbinary and a lesbian is not changing the definition of what a lesbian is ??? there is sooo much nuance and rich history to queerness as a whole, and lesbianism is absolutely not an exception. trans and gnc lesbians have always and will always exist. yes, wlw are often lesbians, but that does mean all lesbians are wlw. im really tired so I hope this all makes sense lol

also, if you're ever bored, consider using your energy to educate yourself instead of policing people over the words they use to describe their experiences!
